The space
We have 1 Deluxe King-size Room with TV and gaming. The room has it's ow private Wet Room and direct access to Spa & Relaxation Facility, which is occasionally used by the owners, but in effect it's mainly for the guests' use.

There is an extra single bed in the Spa Room, which can accommodate the 3rd adult or a child. You can also place comfortably a cot in the bedroom.

In Total we can fit in 3 adults and a baby.

Welcome to Dennis, our 1970s converted Fire Engine.

All our units here at The Layby Lincs have a king size bed, AC for hot and cold, an outdoor covered kitchen area, a private bathroom cabin and your own wood fired hot tub. We are closer to a luxury holiday cottage than we are to camping.

Dennis has an 3ft stock fenced garden for supervised off lead time with your furry friends.

The space
The Layby Lincs is a five themed vehicle glamping site based in Lincolnshire.

Alex and Louise bought Mill Lane Farmhouse in 2022 and and have been working hard ever since to create our dream holiday spot. The plot itself is just under 2 acres and The Layby Lincs is based at one end of the plot around a wildlife pond. We fell in love with the plot due to the mature garden and orchard and we are sure you will too. Our neighbours are farmers’ fields on all four sides. There is a cattle farm in Firsby but the fields surrounding us are currently all being used for crops.

We are located on the southern edge of an area of natural beauty known as the Lincolnshire Wolds. Most think of Lincolnshire as being very flat, (and this is the case further south), but the Wolds are beautiful, quintessentially English, rolling hills. We're also just 15 minutes from the coast, with sandy beaches that stretch for 50 miles, from the Marshlands of the Wash bordering Norfolk to the south, all the way up to the Humber Estuary to the North.

The idea is that staying in one of our vehicles is closer to hiring a luxury cottage than it is to camping.

Our ethos has been centred around repurposing, recycling and trying to be as sustainable as possible.

All the power on site is generated by our 96 solar panels and then stored in our 24 batteries. In 2024, we didn't use any mains electricity at all between February the 23rd and September the 17th. During the winter months we generate about 2/3rds of our energy requirements.

A less glamourous subject is waste. Our non-electric sewage treatment plant uses a waste coconut husk medium to help breed good bacteria and filter the water that gets discharged. It's got one of the best ratings you can get and outperforms most other treatment plants.

All of the duvets and pillows we use are from a company that recycle old material and feathers. This means less going to landfill and you get a quality nights sleep thanks to a premium product made here in the UK.

All of our vehicles have been repurposed giving them a new lease on life. We feel that using old vehicles is far better for the environment as we have saved them from being scrapped.

The interiors are full of items we have sourced from swap meets and markets, again ensuring items are given another life and they add a real interest.

We provide a recycling bin and encourage all our guests to use these as much as possible to reduce the amount of general waste going off to landfill.

You will arrive into the Car Park at one end of the plot, where you will leave your vehicle and grab a trolley to wheel your bags down to your own unit. Each unit is completely independent from the others. You have your own private bathroom, outdoor kitchen, living and sleeping space and a wood fired hot tub.

Lakeside Lodge features a large decking area with a sunken hot tub surrounded by glass to ensure you get the best view of the lake and now with 2 King Size Beds.

This is a spacious lodge with a large bedrooms, 2 showers, smart tv's in lounge and 2 bedrooms, full size dishwasher, washing machine, large square hot tub, large veranda with spotlights. We have a second lakeside decking complete with BBQ, seating and a jet ski dock for guests use.

We have a travel cot in the lodge but please note bedding isn't supplied.

Tattershall lakes has so much to offer for all ages which includes 4 fishing lakes, a watersports lake, indoor & outdoor swimming pool and is surrounded by beautiful countryside for those relaxing walks.

There's plenty for the kids with amusements, kids park, splash park, outside cinema, a rope park and an action packed activity programme. The site offers an onsite shop, launderette together with restaurants all accessible through the parks guest passes which are available at an extra cost

The large shaker style kitchen comes complete with a large pantry, toaster, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine and all the home comforts you would expect from a home from home kitchen.

The lodge sleeps 6 adults comprising of a king size twin bedroom with ample storage, a dressing table, smart tv, hairdryer and en-suite shower. We have a further 2 twin bedrooms both with storage an one being full size beds and another shower room to make the lodge complete.

For our guests comfort we include hand towels together with tea towel for the kitchen.

You open the patio doors directly onto the decking to take in the amazing view, this is where you'll find a rattan cube table set and large sunken square hot tub.

There's parking for 2 cars on the driveway which leads to the lakeside decking where you'll find the BBQ, further seating and a jet ski dock available for guests use.

If you use the lake with a jet ski (charges apply from site to use the lake and you must have a license and insurance) alternatively you can hire them from the watersports office)

Two archways with large glass patio doors lead into the accommodation's open plan living/kitchen space with large screen smart television, dvd player and echo dot. The comfortable sitting area with impressive vaulted ceiling boasts original brickwork and beautiful oak beams. In addition to the well equipped kitchen and dining area on the ground floor, you will find a twin bedded bedroom and bathroom with easy access walk- in shower.

The ash staircase leading to the first floor galleried king bedroom has a lovely en-suite bathroom with roll top bath, making this cottage perfect for families or couples looking for a romantic break.
Please note. This barn can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults plus an infant in travel cot.

Guests have private access to the accommodation, garden and patio with hot tub. There is a shared supply room which has a large freezer. There are also lots of board games, dvd's, and books to borrow. For guests bringing dogs, we offer a warm wash down hose, dog towels, shampoo, chukka toys for the field and bowls to borrow.
You will find an SOS box where guests will find toiletries they may have forgotten. Simply leave a £1 in the honesty jar :)

On site we have a well stocked fishing lake where guests are welcome to fish at the cottage end of the lake. Children up to 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. Please note an up to date fishing licence is required)
There is a dog walk leading to a 7 acre paddock.

Church Farm Escapes is a small exclusive park set within 26 acres of grassland, an abundance of nature and well stocked fishing lake. Church Farm Escapes is situated less than 5 miles from blue flag beaches of Skegness and a little further to the coast of Mogg's Eye and Wolla Bank. With the Lincolnshire Wolds, 'an area of outstanding beauty' just a short drive away, we offer the perfect base for lovely walks and days out.
