Sleep up to 6 across three bedrooms. The master bedroom with king size bed, and en suite shower room. The second bedroom comprises a good size twin room, and the third bedroom is perfect for younger guests, featuring a set of bunk beds—a fantastic setup for an enjoyable sleepover experience. You’ll find a further large family bathroom with shower, basin and Wc.
Guests have full use of the hot tub, ample outdoor space, and terrace with sofa seating at the rear of the stables to enjoy alfresco dining and entertaining. The owners will not be at the property when you are, so you can enjoy the fully landscaped garden of almost an acre - the sun deck over the stream, limestone terrace, extensive ornamental planting and woodland. The garden opens for the NGS charity annually and has featured in local and national magazines.
The Treehouse sits in a conservation area, has three footpaths from the doorstep and is very quiet, being set at the end of Fidges Lane. There are three pubs (The Lamb Inn, Eastcombe; The Bear, Bisley; the Stirrup Cup, Bisley) and village shop/ Post Office in walking distance
This valley is a designated dark zone and the stars are plentiful! There is a spotting scope for star gazing and wildlife spotting.
Wildlife:
Deer and squirrels are daily visitors, with badgers, foxes, many species of birds including buzzards and owls who are residents in the valley. If you are lucky and the stream is high you could see a kingfisher.
Guest access
Guests have full, exclusive use of the Treehouse and the gardens. Guests access the Treehouse through their own door to the side of the property where there is a key safe, the code will be given one week in advance of arrival.
There is an interconnecting door to the main property which will be kept locked.

- Maximum of 2 people plus a baby under 2 years old. When the home cinema system is on the noise is loud upstairs which is where your baby will sleep.

The hot tubs are wood fired and can take up to 4 hours to heat - they are all emptied, cleaned and refilled for you on the day of your arrival so are normally ready for lighting around 3pm so will be hot on your first evening here - we explain how to manage the hot tub on your arrival. Please note there are no jets as it uses fresh water and no chemicals.

The space
Finley's Fort is our replacement cabin for Poppy's Pad. The cabin has been built to our own specifications and alongside the covered hot tub there is a covered deck with gas bbq. Inside you will find a double bedroom, shower room with wc and open plan kitchenette and living area. The cabin has a combination microwave, 2 ring hob, kettle, toaster and fridge with an ice box.

Located at the end of our small touring campsite there are 3 cabins each having their own large fenced areas to provide privacy for guests
Other things to note
The hot tub is a twin jacuzzi with jets - this is emptied, cleaned and refilled on your day of arrival so is unlikely to be hot when you arrive however should be useable during your first evening on site.
WE TRY TO BE AS ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AS POSSIBLE SO HOT TUB TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED – these can be arranged on request but associated laundry fees will be charged.
We also only leave a starter set of sachets of tea, coffee, milk and sugar - extras can be purchased from the local shop

We live on the Chavenage Estate which is home to four generations of James’s family. We wanted to share our space, and our love of the outdoors with you here in the beautiful South Cotswolds. We love exploring the countryside so we have created our cabin in the woods for you to immerse yourself in nature, reconnect with each other and unwind with some simple luxuries. Entrance to the Farm Park is included in your booking. When checking in you will be issued with your campers pass which will be valid for the duration of your stay for all of your overnight guests.

A beautifully renovated barn on the fringe of the historic Castle Combe often voted the prettiest village in the country, and featured in many films. There are wonderful woodland walks from the property and there are 2 pubs, a michelin star restaurant and a cafe nearby. As well as a golf course and Castle Combe race circuit.

Congrove Barns Bath are a pair of newly renovated twin barns crafted to provide a romantic bolthole for two or a cosy but spacious family or friends retreat.
The space
The twin barns are divided by function, with a living barn housing the open plan sitting dining room and fully equipped kitchen and the games / TV room with table football; off of which is a shower room. The games Room also has a Conran sofa-bed that can be converted into either a single or double bed. The second barn is the sleeping barn, with two en-suite bedrooms, one a king with en-suite bathroom with twin basins the other a zip and link king with en-suite shower room. The gardens are gated and fenced and aside from the in-ground hot tub the barns come equipped with Croquet and Badminton as well as indoor board games for cosy evenings around the wood burning stove.
The Congrove Barns are in a remarkable location, south facing and sitting on the side of a secluded and private valley that has its own private Arboretum; yet only a few miles from the historic centre of Bath; whose lights shimmer in the distance at night. Bath Race Course is even closer and Bristol is less than 10 miles away. So they are both a unique retreat and an ideal base to either explore the Cotswolds or the historic and famed sights of southern England including Avebury, Glastonbury and Stonehenge. And even the Welsh borders are not that far away.
Dogs are accepted but upon request and there is a per dog per week charge of £50. If the sofa-bed in the games room in the living barn - that has its own en-suite shower room - is required there is a £100 per week supplement.
