The space
The whole cottage and patio-garden is for your exclusive use.
The main part of Apple Tree Cottage dates back to 1782. The bed/sitting room has original low-pitched beamed ceilings, a double bed, 2 seater sofa and bean bag chair, and fantastic views down the Nailsworth valley and over towards Stroud.
The kitchen-diner is spacious and well equipped, with garden views and the bathroom has a washbasin, toilet and shower.
It is a 10-15 minute walk to Nailsworth town centre. There are many beautiful walks or cycle rides from the door, with the Cotswold Way only a short distance away. There is a selection of local maps and walking books for guests to borrow. For non-walkers, there are many great local attractions to visit in the area such as the incomplete gothic mansion at Woodchester, Woodchester Vineyards, Stroud Farmers' market, Tetbury and Highgrove House, Westonbirt Arboretum and the Church and Rococo gardens of Painswick. A folder of local tourist attractions can be found in the cottage.
Should you want to stay home, there is a Smart TV, with multi-channel streaming, and a range of books and games in the cottage.
Note that due to shallow steps outside and original stairs and pitched beamed ceilings inside , Apple Tree Cottage is unfortunately not suitable for travellers with mobility issues.

Due to fairly narrow stairs inside, and shallow steps to the front door outside, the property is unfortunately not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Avening Cottage is charming 18th Century Cotswold stone property situated in Nailsworth, a bustling market town near Stroud with great cafes, bars and restaurants. This cottage has been renovated to a high standard and offers all mod cons alongside traditional features. It has its own entrance and there are no shared facilities. The local countryside is beautiful and there are great walks and glorious open spaces and views, accessible both on foot and within a short drive.

The space
The cottage is cosy and perfect for couples. There are two short flights of stairs connecting the kitchen and bathroom, on the lower floor, with the sitting room above (on the ground floor) and the bedroom on the top floor. Please be warned that, because this is an old property, the bedroom is up in the eaves and there is not much headspace or a great deal of room on either side of the bed (see the photo of the bedroom).

Guest access
You can park directly outside the cottage, but the parking space isn't large enough to accommodate very big cars. However, there is a car park just a few yards away if you have a larger vehicle and it's easy to park there and unload when you arrive. It is free to park for up to 4 hours and there are two free 24-hour car parks a couple of minutes walk away.

You will have exclusive use of the cottage during your stay. The cottage is self contained and there is no shared communal space or access.

Carters cottage a 18 th century coaching inn with a inglenook open fireplace, brass bed, set in the small hamlet of Slaughterford, a place lost in time in a beautiful area of outstanding natural beauty.
This Cotswold stone cottage set in a large garden, just 3 mles from Castle Combe and within easy reach of Lacock, Avebury, half an hour from Bath On the McMillan way, Ideal for long walks and cosy nights by the fire. Down the lane from our farm, see cows,sheep and horses grazing happily

The space
Carters is a two bedroom country cottage, with a spacious twin room with wrought iron Victorian beds ( with modern mattress!) they remind us of Harry Potter, a large main bedroom with brass bed the floor is a little wonky but this is the character of the cottage, downstairs is a vintage kitchen diner leading into the lounge with a open inglenook fire and then in the hall the bathroom with bath, electric shower, WC. Into a small hall that
Leads out into a large enclosed garden .The cottage is up stone steps or there is a step free way in past another cottage , the parking is on street on the side of the lane, but we do have off street 200 yards up the lane by the phone box.

There are lovely walks along the river, the church is open, a hilly three mile walk to castle Combe but it is worth it and a nice pub on the way the white hart at Ford , do bring wellies , we provide a basket of logs, the bathroom is down stairs the cooker, microwave is electric we are in a valley signal very good on EE, we couldn't get continuous broadband so we have installed mobile WiFi which works much better. On a fire stick the heating is storage heaters, their is extra electric heaters and the fire to keep the cottage feeling cosy.

Tall Trees is a classic honey-stoned cotswold cottage, located on a private estate between Stow on the Wold and Bourton on the Water. It is a fantastic base from which to explore the Cotswolds either along the many local footpaths or by car.

The space
Formerly a school-house for the children on the estate, Tall Trees has been sympathetically converted into a one-bedroom, ground floor cottage, with a high-beamed ceiling in the living room. A well-equipped modern kitchen awaits with a smeg fridge and coffee machine alongside everything else you might require. In winter months stock up the wood burner in the living room, and cosy up as the evenings draw in after a busy day exploring the Cotswolds.

The cottage is located with views of the walled vegetable garden and orchard.

Several footpaths run alongside the edge of the estate, offering miles of walking along the beautiful rolling hills of the Cotswolds. The nearby village pub in Lower Swell - the Golden Ball - can be reached entirely via footpaths as can the picture-perfect village of Lower Slaughter.

Stow on the Wold is a short distance up the hill, with its variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, and both Daylesford Farm Shop and Soho Farmhouse are a short drive away.

The Cotswolds offers beautiful country lanes for cycling, wonderful walking and picturesque villages to visit such as Broadway, Bibury Row and Chipping Camden slightly further afield. Tall Trees is only half an hour from the wonderful Georgian spa town of Cheltenham, and forty minutes from the world-renowned university city of Oxford.

Situated in glorious countryside on a smallholding is Stable cottage, surrounded by our own meadows, beautiful local walks and rolling countryside. Constructed in local cotswold stone this traditional cottage dates from the 17th century and once was the stable for the cart horses for the farmhouse! We have a small heated outdoor swimming pool available for our guests (1 June-1 Sept) and we accept well behaved dogs.
We have a conservatory (ideal for cooler months) and pretty garden.

The space
Stable cottage sits adjacent to a Jacobean farmhouse with banked wild flower meadows rising above the cottage and lovely views with mixed traditional woodland. It is a nature lovers paradise and the location is peaceful and tranquil.
We are passionate about the environment and preserving the countryside.
The cottage has two bedrooms (once the old hayloft) and is open plan to some extent to the living area. There is one a double room (en studio) and the other a small twin. It is important to note that access for the twin bedroom is through the double room (see our gallery page) The double room has lovely views of the banked cottage garden whilst the twin bedroom has a velux window. Downstairs we have a cosy living room with woodburning stove and include logs in your rental. We have a well equipped kitchen and downstairs bathroom with bath and overhead shower.
The conservatory is ideal for the cooler months and doors open to a cotswold stone patio and steps to the pretty garden and views of the fields adjacent to the farmhouse and surrounding countryside. Guests are welcome to explore our fields but please observe the Countryside code!

The pool; The pool is a liner pool located outside the farmhouse approx 50m from the cottage. We provide swimming towels for children and bath robes for adults.
Guests are welcome to use the pool on a daily basis but children must be supervised at all times by adults please and no glasses, bottles or sharp objects are permitted around the pool to protect the pool liner. Please note; NO DIVING, NIGHT SWIMMING or dive bombing is allowed. The pool depth is approx 900mm in the shallow end and 1.5 m at its deepest point. We heat the pool from 1 June to the 1 September. The heating is included in your rental. Outside of these months the pool can be made available in September (or May) for an additional fee to cover the heating.
Outside of these months the pool is NOT available.
The family also use the pool, arrangements can be made regarding times but we are very flexible!
The Cottage garden has walled areas and a small shallow pond; please supervise small children in the garden at all times.
In our fields we have a lake and other ponds, please supervise children at all times.
There are parts of the farmyard that house farm machinery; we will advise to areas that are out of bounds to guests.

Take your first glimpse of the rolling fields surrounding our traditional Cotswold stone farmstead, as you travel along our private, tree lined drive. In an AONB, the farmstead sits on the edge of the Golden Valley.
Dating back to the 1700s, Little Finch's Cottage is nestled within the original Farmhouse, where you can still find exposed beams and sunny window seats. Step through Little Finch's front door into the lounge/breakfast room which is linked to the bedroom by a steep spiral staircase.

The space
Hidden from view and surrounded by its' own land, Kings Farm remained largely untouched by the modern world for almost two hundred years. The original farmstead buildings tell of a vanished time but the neglect of many years has taken its' toll. Kings Farm is one of the last original farmsteads of its' kind in the local area and is very slowly undergoing sympathetic repair and restoration.
Guest accommodation forms part of the refurbishment of the farmhouse, which was in a bad state of repair, when purchased in 2018.
The guest shower room is a new addition to the house and is just a few steps across the passageway from the bedroom, which has an attractive window seat and Victorian fireplace, which is not useable.
The guest sitting room has a Victorian open fireplace and logs are provided for guests to use.
Central heating has been installed throughout the house.
Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the guest sitting room and there is a small fridge. Crockery and cutlery are also provided.
Please note that there is no kitchen in the accommodation.
A continental style breakfast is provided on the first morning of your stay.
In the late nineteen eighties, Kings Farm was used as a location for a TV series called, "Forever Green." The storyline was of a family, with a badly asthmatic daughter, who relocated from London to a neglected Farmhouse in the countryside. Various environmental issues were covered in the series.
We lead an outdoor life as we have dogs and horses.
Guests are allowed to bring dogs. If you are bringing your dog(s) please make sure to book in your pet. There is a small cleaning charge per stay. The accommodation is suitable for one large dog e.g. Labrador or two small/medium dogs e.g. Cocker Spaniel.
