- "The property was as beautiful as it was in the pictures with lovely grounds and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Unfortunately though, the outside of the property was swarming with wasps so unable to keep doors and windows open and nor could you fully relax in the hot tub. My partner got stung on the first night. Also there was a trap in the corner of the bedroom which made us feel uneasy sleeping at night. And the window above the bed did not have a blackout blind so was woken early every morning. And lastly to add there was a sticky fly trap hanging abaove the kitchen filled with flies which i felt was unhygenic as they kept falling off. Contacted the property regarding these matters but no response."

The space
My house is a 200 year old cottage which has been modernised to today's standard. It is located in a country lane but is only 4 minutes drive and 20 minutes walk to the town centre. My house has four double bedrooms, one of which I occupy leaving three others available to guests. Each room will accommodate two people.

Guest access
Spaces available to guests are lounge, bathroom and own room. Kitchen is also available at an extra cost of £10 per day for self catering. There is extensive off street parking on my private drive.

I live on the premises so I am around most of the time should guests require any help, just ask.

Situated at the delightful Maws Craft Centre which was originally a Victorian Mill. The buildings home a collection of art, craft and design studios situated in the Ironbridge Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Peaceful and quiet the area offering many countryside walking trails to enjoy and riverside pubs and places to eat nearby. Lots to see and do, a short walk from Ironbridge and Blists Hill Victorian Living Museum and Tile and china museums offering an industrial heritage experience.

Jackfield is part of the World heritage Site of the Ironbridge Gorge. The Ironbridge is only a mile away. A convenient distance fromTelford Town Centre with shops, leisure facilities and transport links to M54 motorway providing access to Birmingham, Shrewsbury and beyond.

Hidden away in the hills of Mid Wales, our property is a semi detached barn conversion located on the end of the courtyard on our family run farm.

The Coach House Cottage offers guests access to the grounds orchard, wildlife and fishing lakes with 100’s of acres of surrounding countryside and woodland to wander.

There are country lanes leading to historical castles, villages and market towns in the hills and valleys of the welsh borderlands.

The space
The front door leads into a warm inviting lounge with 2/3 seater sofa, leather chesterfield armchair, coffee table and LED smart TV. Original beams and a fitted electric fire, with soft beige carpet adding to the comfortable ambience.

Through to a kitchen, with contemporary shaker style units, fitted oven with hob. Integrated fridge with top freezer section and washing machine. Plenty of cupboards are provided and all the kitchen equipment required for a relaxing stay. Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary pods and a carton of semi-skimmed milk in the fridge to welcome you on arrival.

This leads to the dining area, with a fold out round table set for two, but easily extended to four people, with additional chairs provided. Feature ceiling light and fun wall mural.

Ground floor contemporary bathroom with traditional style column basin, WC, and bath with integrated electric shower and glass shower screen. Complimentary hand/body wash are provided.

The dining area leads up the staircase to two modern bedrooms, the master to the rear of the property with double bed, mid feature century chest of drawers and integrated clothes rail, with two luxury towelling robes. On the wall is a 32" LED Smart TV.

Bedroom two, has two single beds sharing a bedside table, a Victorian chest of drawers, and integrated clothes rail with two towelling robes. Both bedrooms feature boutique style wall murals and soft beige carpets.

Access via the ground floor dining area leads to a small enclosed patio area, featuring festival style, festoon lighting and a small outdoor table with four foldaway chairs.

The whole of the cottage is available for your stay and enjoyment.

On arrival please go through the wooden gate to the left of the cottage. Open the small gate, down the steps to the patio area. The key safe is under the kitchen window, right in front of you. We will ensure the security lights are on to make access easier.

Other things to note
A free parking permit for the car park (15m away, on the same side as 22 Victoria Street) will be left in the property, please leave this on display in your car throughout your stay, please return before leaving.

Cosy cottage adjacent to the owners listed property, situated in a small hamlet.Jemima’s has views of the surrounding countryside and a small private garden with garden furniture ,ample parking and WiFi.There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms the main bedroom also has shower and wc . There is a fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable living room. Shrewsbury is a 20 mins drive away . There isn’t a washing machine in the cottage but guests are welcome to use ours if they need to.

The space
Jemima’s is full of character, originally accommodation for farm workers and the bakery , hence original bread oven . There has been a building on the site since the 11th century, our home has a cellar floor dated from then and a folly castle wall constructed from stone quarried between the 7th and 12th century! Shropshire is bursting with history and we are within easy reach of many National Trust and English Heritage sites .

Guest access
Jemima’s is self contained with its own private access and garden . Guests are however welcome to explore our large garden .

We can accommodate up to 4 people . We have baby equipment available if required, do let us know if you need items such as a cot or high chair etc .if you have children of the opposite sex for whom it is inappropriate to share a bed because of their age do let us know as we may be able to furnish you with a fold up bed . There isn’t a washing machine in the cottage but we are happy to let you use ours .

Adjacent to our farmhouse home, although no longer a working farm, Curlew Cottage retains many original features and is bursting with character – electric stove, beamed ceilings, natural slate floors and exposed stone walls. Spacious, well equipped and tasteful accommodation.

The space
Ground Floor: Sitting/dining room with large bay window, exposed stonework and electric stove. PLEASE NOTE that the stove is electric and not a wood burner. Fitted kitchen with door to patio. Shower room with basin and toilet. Staircase from sitting room to double bedroom.
First floor: Double bedroom with 6ft super king size bed. Access to cosy single bedroom is via the double bedroom so if privacy is an issue this property may not be for you.

Access to the property is via a track and two gates, approximately 500m from the road.
Heating is electric storage heaters and an ELECTRIC stove (it’s not a wood burner).

DOG OWNERS PLEASE NOTE - Well behaved dogs are welcome. There is an additional charge of £15 per dog per stay.
Usual doggy house rules apply - not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms, must not be left unattended in the cottage, must be kept on a lead whilst on our property except in the cottage’s private garden and we ask guests to pick up any waste after their dogs. The fields that surround our property usually have sheep in them and are not owned by us so we cannot give permission for guests to access these fields other than walking/driving up and down our access track.
Parking - there is space for one car per cottage although extra car can be accommodated by prior arrangement.
Babies & Children welcome but no baby equipment provided.
Nearest shop is 4 miles away, large supermarkets can be found in Welshpool and Shrewsbury (12 and 15 miles away respectively).
