Towels are provided but hairdryer is not and these were not stated on the description, I had to call and ask. Even so, they did not know initially and had to get back to me. There’s almost everything you need in the kitchen. We enjoyed staying in the house. But there is a major issue of damp in the house, especially the double bed room. The smell of damp was so bad we couldn’t sleep in that room as it was pretty suffocating. There were three of us so two slept in the other room and one more had to sleep on the couch. If not for the damp, we would come back. But the damp issue is really bad, it has ma de the stay uncomfortable when it’s time to sleep."

The renovation has been done sensitively to keep the feel of a cottage, and some features have been retained, like a small inglenook fireplace. our area is such a visually beautiful place, we have the river running through the valley, in the morning you hear the birds, at night the owls, there are nice places to walk, including the queen victoria river walk, she stayed in the local hall

It is perfect for a couple, or a single person to holiday throughout the year. It offers a wonderful home from home self catering holiday experience. The beautiful castle town of Caernarfon and the gorgeous Snowdonia National Park are within very easy reach of Cefn Eithin

The space
Parking for the property is ample and privacy is afforded.

Stiwdio Eithinog is a single storey cottage. The entrance leads to the new and comfortable kitchen / diner, off which you can access the main living and sleeping area. The living area has comfortable seats and a table, so it is a great space for relaxing, eating or watching the TV. The double bed is in the same room, although it's separated by a small step.
There is a small garden area to the rear of the Stiwdio, accessed though the back door. It has plenty of outdoor space to relax in the afternoon sun, or enjoy a drink after a great day out.
We have a drying room on site, which is perfect for drying wet outdoor clothing. It has drying lines, clothes pegs and a dehumidifier. It is shared with guests from Eithin Bach if necessary.
Our campervan and caravan site has plenty of space to kick a football around, or just enjoy a bit of outdoor garden space. You are welcome to use the goal posts there for a kick about. Bird life in the garden area and the neighbouring fields is very good.

The tranquility of the location is wonderful, as are views of the Snowdonia mountains and over Abermenai to Anglesey

The cottage is available for week long, longer or shorter term bookings, depending on availability.

Glan Rhyd is a 200 year-old country cottage idyll, centrally situated with easy access to the whole of Anglesey. Secluded within its own tree-lined wildflower meadow alongside the River Alaw, it offers peace and tranquility second to none. This former Coach House would have housed the horses for the Grade II listed country home next door. Today after a full renovation, The Coach House is now ready to welcome guests in considerably more comfort than the original four-legged inhabitants would have been used to!

The space
It sits off a quiet lane outside the hamlet of Llanfwrog in this peaceful corner of North West Anglesey. Largely undiscovered compared to the rest of the island, the area boasts some of the most spectacular sandy beaches- Porth Tywyn Mawr (Sandy Beach), Porth Trefadog, Porth Trwyn and Porth Penrhyn Mawr are all within a couple of miles while Church Bay is a 5 minute drive and has the Church Bay Inn, The Wavecrest Cafe and the famous Lobster Pot restaurant as well as it's own, (busier) beach. The Coastal path passes nearby and can be accessed via lanes and footpaths from the house.

Step inside and you'll find the sitting room downstairs while the rest of the accommodation is upstairs. The main living area is the large open plan kitchen/dining/living room which offers views to the north and west over the fields with occassional glimpse of the sea. Fresh and bright and imaginatively finished, its a great room to hunker down in on a stormy winter evenings or from which to admire sunsets at the end of long summer days. There are two bedrooms along the corridor- a King Sized bedroom and a double as well as a contemprary shower room. The house is accessed through its own private gateway and there is plenty of parking immediately outside the house as well as a lovely courtyard garden with outside dining furniture, all sheltered by the high walls of the walled garden beyond.

It's a lovely spot for a few days of peace and solitude wandering the local beaches and headlands or to use a base for exploration of the rest of the island.
