I slept soundly, which is never a guarantee for me. There was ample hot water and good water pressure. The wi-fi was great and I had no issues streaming on my tablet, though I also appreciated having a tv to catch some news and such. The location was wonderfully, just a few steps from a great pub and from an access point to the old city walls. I found the hosts to be very helpful when I reached out to get a drying rack for a load of laundry I had to do. If I get back to Conwy, I would definitely stay here again."

Theres also a downstairs outdoor area, with table and chairs, which was nice, though quite a few spiders outside, so we avoided that yard. NO creepy crawlies inside the house at all though, which was a relief! We stayed 3 nights, and all good. Only gripe is there's no upstairs bathroom, (which the cottage can't help as its small), so you have to navigate steep stairs at night, if you need the loo. Theres one sofa (2 seater), and one chair in lounge, so although the cottage can sleep 4 people, only 3 can comfortably watch tv in the lounge. No tv upstairs in bedrooms either. However, it was a very lovely place, and suited our needs perfectly. Owner has gone to a lot of time & care with making the property feel magical. Owner also provided milk, tea, coffee, and some welsh cakes, which was a personal touch. I advice taking spare toilet roll, and shower gel/shampoo. Master bedroom could do with a slightly bigger bed, as it was a small double, and only just fits 2 people. I never tried the bunk beds in the 2nd bedroom, but they looked fun! Nice kitchen. Nice bathroom. Good shower. Would go again."

Recently renovated, Llys Ifor has all modern comforts whilst retaining its welsh character. The renovation has been done sensitively to keep the feel of a cottage, and some features have been retained, like a small inglenook fireplace. The space
Parking for the property is ample and privacy is afforded.

Stiwdio Eithinog is a single storey cottage. The entrance leads to the new and comfortable kitchen / diner, off which you can access the main living and sleeping area. The living area has comfortable seats and a table, so it is a great space for relaxing, eating or watching the TV. The double bed is in the same room, although it's separated by a small step.
There is a small garden area to the rear of the Stiwdio, accessed though the back door. It has plenty of outdoor space to relax in the afternoon sun, or enjoy a drink after a great day out.
We have a drying room on site, which is perfect for drying wet outdoor clothing. It has drying lines, clothes pegs and a dehumidifier. It is shared with guests from Eithin Bach if necessary.
Our campervan and caravan site has plenty of space to kick a football around, or just enjoy a bit of outdoor garden space. You are welcome to use the goal posts there for a kick about. Bird life in the garden area and the neighbouring fields is very good.

The tranquility of the location is wonderful, as are views of the Snowdonia mountains and over Abermenai to Anglesey

The cottage is available for week long, longer or shorter term bookings, depending on availability.

Entering this characterful property, the welcoming lounge has a wood burner set in an impressive inglenook, with a digital radio, Smart TV and ample seating, making this a lovely space to snuggle up together after a wonderful day’s exploring. Heading through, the light-filled kitchen/diner is perfect for preparing and sharing romantic meals for two. The ground floor also features a useful shower room. We love dogs. We welcome your well-behaved and trained dog to the Cottage. For their comfort and Cottage safety, we kindly ask that they are not left alone in the cottage. Simply select pet in the drop down as you enter number of guests. Please also bring along your dog's essentials like bowls and blankets to make them feel right at home!

Over the past several years, the vast majority of guests decide to park for free at the The Kinmel Arms. The friendly landlord, Sam and senior staff have kindly granted permission. Moreover there are multilple free public car parks. There is a paid parking diagonally opposite. Please refer to the photos. As the Cottage is situated on the Beach front it does not have a garden, or back door. Temporary parking is allowed.

Most guests on short visits find enjoyment in and around Moelfre as there is plenty so see and do. Only having to utilize their cars to explore other parts of Anglesey. Cosy eateries all within walking distance

A charming and genuinely old seaside holiday cottage in Criccieth with log fires, an Aga, sea views and a driveway best taken with care.

The space
Towyn is a timeworn gem of a two-bedroom holiday cottage in the heart of Criccieth, North Wales a place where thick stone walls, quirky corners, and a proper log fire whisper stories from generations past. This is not just another seaside rental it's a bona fide old cottage with plenty of character, a few idiosyncrasies, and an enviable location just a short stroll from the beach, local pubs, tempting restaurants and a clutch of independent shops and delis.

Inside, the main living room is surprisingly generous. Two comfy sofas face each other across a working log fire the kind you’ll want to spend long evenings in front of with a glass of red and zero plans. At the far end of the room, a grand old dining table sits near a large picture window that peers out towards the sea. Just off this space is a smaller snug a second lounge if you like with another fire (this time a living flame gas version) and a TV. A fine set-up for film nights, quiet reading time, or simply giving people space to do their own thing.

The kitchen is a warm blend of old and new. An original pastel-blue enamelled Aga stands as a proud centrepiece, giving the space a nostalgic farmhouse feel. Around it, modern cream cupboards and a beach-effect worktop keep things practical and light. A breakfast table sits by the window, ideal for laid-back bacon sarnies or spreading out your beach-day bits.

Upstairs, there’s a double and a twin bedroom. The double offers a comfy bed and plenty of storage, while both rooms enjoy peace and quiet thanks to those gloriously thick stone walls. Sunlight trickles in during the day, and by night, the only sound you’re likely to hear is the distant crash of the waves or perhaps the odd owl. The bathroom is usefully split in two one room for the large shower and basin, and another for the loo. Perfect if you’re travelling with teens or anyone who likes to linger under hot water.

One thing to note before you arrive: the entrance to the driveway is quite narrow. It’s perfectly manageable for standard-sized cars, but if you’re in anything wider than usual, it’s best to ease in with care. It’s all part of the charm of staying in a truly old property, where cars weren’t quite top of mind during construction.

Other things to note
The central heating will be set to activate either twice a day or all day (05:30-22:30), dependent on the time of year. Guests are free to select their own setting and instructions are given. There is a gas fired heater in the television room and a log burner in the main living room. Each room has at least one has a centrally heated radiator (apart from the W.C.).
The garden is relatively large. The upper part of the garden has a large picnic table which affords views of the sea a castle.
Please be aware that whilst the drive belongs to the property, the neighbours have a right of way in order to access their garage. It is therefore important that their garage is not blocked. However, there is plenty of room for at least two cars, and also additional car parking space on the verge above the property on the road that runs past the upper garden.
