- "We stayed for 1 night and were delighted with the hotel, grounds, facilities and bar / dining experience. The leisure facilities were great and the swimming pool and hydrotherapy pool / sauna / steam room were very clean and a lovely peaceful benefit to our stay. Unfortunately, the Vines Restaurant was closed for the duration of our stay. Our evening meal in Redmond's Brasserie was lovely and the full English buffet breakfast the following morning was delicious! The bar staff in Morgan's Bar were very helpful and attentive and the drinks were surprisingly very reasonably priced. The open fires in the bar and seating areas were delightful and welcoming. We can't recommend staying here to anyone enough and would definitely return in the future. The only constructive criticism I wish to offer is that it is that hotel residents should receive a considerably reduced tariff for use of the 'Spa at Carden' facilities, with the option to purchase spa treatments if desired. Fairvale House is located in the historic village of Whitegate.

Due to the quiet environment, adult-only bookings are restricted to small groups of mature adults or working groups. Smart home noise sensors (anti-party software) are installed. We will require your group’s names and ages before arrival. No more than 7 adults unless agreed prior to booking.

Guests can relax in the hot tub, have a game of pool in the entertainment suite or simply relax and enjoy good company.

With plenty to explore, golf enthusiasts can tee off at the Vale Royal Abbey Golf Club (0.5 miles) or Sandiway Golf Club’s championship course (2 miles). Delamere Forest (8 miles), offers walking trails, cycling, or Go Ape adventure. Visit Blakemere Craft Centre (3 miles) where there’s pottery painting, a miniature train, falconry displays, mini golf, a segway course, and shops and cafes. The Hollies Farm Shop (3 miles) is the place for stunning local produce, fine foods, and dining. There are hiking days out on Whitegate Way (1 mile) and the Sandstone Trail (8 miles). Wild Shore (4.5 miles) is a water-based adventure, offering adrenaline-charged outdoor activities. Or why not take an open-top bus ride around the historic Roman city of Chester (15 miles), dating back to 79AD; the cathedral city is set on the beautiful River Dee. There is a double bedroom and a convenient shower room on the ground floor, as well as a well-equipped utility room. The beautiful hallway leads to the living room; with plush seating and a large Smart TV, this is a great space to enjoy complete relaxation and to come together to watch your favourite film or enjoy a game together. Upstairs, are five well-appointed bedrooms; two super-king-size, one of which can be made up as twin beds if required, and three king-size. There is also a ground floor double bedroom. Three of the bedrooms have Smart TVs, allowing guests to relax in different areas of the house. The bedrooms share two bathrooms, offering plenty of space and facilities.

Outside, there is a games room for all to enjoy, boasting a pool table and a large TV. There is an undercover seating area and a gas BBQ to enjoy dining alfresco. Relax in the hot tub and take in the views over the countryside – the perfect place to truly unwind! The Tudor Gathering is a large exclusive use property that’s perfect for groups of friends and family staying together looking to enjoy a night or weekend in Chester City centre. Situated in Chester City centre close to main shopping and nightlife areas, and Chester's famous Roodee Racecourse.

The space
The Tudor Gathering is the ideal place to base yourself in Chester, in the heart of the City.

It is only a short walk to all that Chester and the Racecourse have to offer. Chester Railway station is one street away and only a short walk to the main bus station.

The ground floor provides the open-plan space required for groups looking to spend time together in a social or work setting, with a large kitchen, lounge area and dining area. A hot tub room, with 2 hot tubs, is also situated on the ground floor.

The first floor includes a four poster king size bed, with soafbed and dressing room, as well as a further mixed single/double room with bunks.

The second floor has three further bedrooms, the third floor has a further two bedrooms.

The property has a large number of W/C and shower rooms for guests on the various floors.

Once booked, a rental contract is sent for electronic signature. The property is free for self-check-in from 3pm with alternative check-in and check-out arrangements possible depending on availability.  A meet and greet for the full group is always arranged.

We do welcome groups at the property but please be aware that our house rules do not allow noise and disturbance outside the property boundary as well as being aware of other people who live nearby.
