- "We stayed for 1 night and were delighted with the hotel, grounds, facilities and bar / dining experience. The leisure facilities were great and the swimming pool and hydrotherapy pool / sauna / steam room were very clean and a lovely peaceful benefit to our stay. Unfortunately, the Vines Restaurant was closed for the duration of our stay. Our evening meal in Redmond's Brasserie was lovely and the full English buffet breakfast the following morning was delicious! The bar staff in Morgan's Bar were very helpful and attentive and the drinks were surprisingly very reasonably priced. The open fires in the bar and seating areas were delightful and welcoming. We can't recommend staying here to anyone enough and would definitely return in the future. The only constructive criticism I wish to offer is that it is that hotel residents should receive a considerably reduced tariff for use of the 'Spa at Carden' facilities, with the option to purchase spa treatments if desired. "

The space
The Cheshire is the ideal place to base yourself in Chester. Located in a suburb just outside the City Centre.

The house boasts eight bedrooms split over two floors and three bathrooms, with a further w/c.

The ground floor provides lots of open space, with large lounge, seperate dining area, large well equipped kitchen and conservatory as well as a ground floor w/c.

On the ground floor are four bedrooms, three bedrooms with a double and single bed sleeping three each, and one bedroom with a double and two single beds and en-suite.

On the first floor there are four further bedrooms, each with a double and single bed sleeping three each, and two bathrooms - one with bath and shower, the other with shower.

The property has plenty of parking and a hot tub for your use.

Once booked, a rental contract is sent for electronic signature. The property is free for self-check-in from 3pm with alternative check-in and check-out arrangements possible depending on availability.

The property includes CCTV cameras in outside areas which are not actively monitored but do record as well as fitted with noise level monitoring systems. Please be aware that this is in a residential area and so we ask everyone to be mindful of noise levels outside and during quieter hours.

This exclusive use property boasts a beautiful Roof Terrace with Private Hot Tub and seating area and an additional Penthouse balcony overlooking Chester Cathedral.
Located on Chester’s famous historic Rows, amid the main shopping, restaurants and nightlife areas - and it's only one street away from Chester’s Roodee Racecourse.

The space
The First floor sleeping includes a double bedroom, a bedroom with a double bed and two bunk beds, and a further room with double bed. There are also kitchen facilities, large sofa and 2 bathrooms.

The Second floor has further seating and kitchen facilities, a bedroom with a double bed and two bunk beds, a bedroom with four bunk beds, a studio with two double beds and a further room with a double bed. There are also 2 bathrooms located on this floor.

The Third floor is the "Penthouse" floor with balcony that has seating and tables overlooking the city skyline with impressive views of Chester Cathedral.
There is also an open plan kitchen, large dining area and lounge seating area. With two further bedrooms, a double bed in one and a double bed and two bunk beds in the other, the living area also includes a double sofa bed.
There are a further 2 bathrooms on this floor, one with shower and one with bath and overhead shower.

A meet and greet for the full group is always arranged. The ground floor houses our creative communal area available from 3pm to 11pm each day exclusively for your use, consisting of an extra large dining and bar area right in the heart of the city.

We do ask that all guests act with courtesy to our neighbours while staying with us.

The Tudor Gathering is a large exclusive use property that’s perfect for groups of friends and family staying together looking to enjoy a night or weekend in Chester City centre. The open plan ground floor offers a large Gathering Space with big sofas, well equipped kitchen with bar tables, sizeable dining area and there’s even an indoor Hot Tub Room boasting 2 hot tubs. Situated in Chester City centre close to main shopping and nightlife areas, and Chester's famous Roodee Racecourse.

The Tudor Gathering is the ideal place to base yourself in Chester, in the heart of the City.

It is only a short walk to all that Chester and the Racecourse have to offer. Chester Railway station is one street away and only a short walk to the main bus station.

The ground floor provides the open-plan space required for groups looking to spend time together in a social or work setting, with a large kitchen, lounge area and dining area. A hot tub room, with 2 hot tubs, is also situated on the ground floor.

The first floor includes a four poster king size bed, with soafbed and dressing room, as well as a further mixed single/double room with bunks.

The second floor has three further bedrooms, the third floor has a further two bedrooms.

The property has a large number of W/C and shower rooms for guests on the various floors.

We do welcome groups at the property but please be aware that our house rules do not allow noise and disturbance outside the property boundary as well as being aware of other people who live nearby.
