The space
This extraordinary converted church offers a one-of-a-kind renting opportunity - perfect for a family get together. This historic church has been thoughtfully transformed into a stunning residential space, blending historic character with modern comforts.
The Church
The original church door leads into an impressive entrance hall which in turn leads to the Dining Room and Living area. This huge open space has the original pulpit and stunning stained glass windows. The extraordinary ceiling heights and feature lighting create Wow-factor in abundance.
A modern, sleek kitchen sits underneath the gallery and offers appliances and amenities for the most exacting chef. The stone colour and Quartz worktop compliment the gorgeous windows and wood carvings. The Italian kitchen has a huge five-metre island dividing it from the dining area that can seat 20.
The lighting (controlled by the smart home) uses colour-changing LEDs and spotlights that create drama and different moods, both inside and out. A gallery hovers above the kitchen and looks down over the impressive space below. This mezzanine with glass balustrades is the most peaceful space to sit and read, do yoga or listen to music via the homes own sound system - the acoustics are incredible! The ground floor also has a Snug (with large t.v.), Bedroom Five, Utility Room (with washer and dryer), and WC.
Upstairs are 4 further Double Bedrooms with Built in Wardrobes. The bathrooms are fitted with Villeroy and Boch sanitary ware, and Porcelanosa tiles with mood lighting. The freestanding bath in the master bedroom suite sits perfectly in front of the huge West window - the perfect place to watch the sunset.
Superfast broadband means you can stay connected. The home is controlled with a smarthome system giving you full control over the lighting and sound system.
The Coach House
The Coach House, again with smart home technology, comprises an upstairs studio apartment (Bedroom 6) and one further ancillary bedroom downstairs.
The Grounds
Upon arrival the electric gates open to reveal beautifully landscaped gardens and driveway parking for up to 12 vehicles. There are several lawned areas amongst seasonal planting, giving interest throughout the year. Mature trees provide privacy and seclusion. The grounds are private, secure and have CCTV.
There are 2 patios for al-fresco dining. The West Patio is a sun trap perfect for soaking up the afternoon and evening sun! The North Patio offers morning and late evening sun and dappled shade throughout the day.
At night the hot tub is perfect for star-gazing, if you can take your eyes off the church. Outside lighting enhances it’s features, not to mention looking at the stained glass window lit from within, it’s a magical place to unwind at the end of the day.
The decking at the rear of the Coach House over looks a large lawn, a young orchard and the fields beyond. It is a wonderful place to watch impressive sunsets and wildlife.

The rural location provides countryside walks and cycling from the door step. The property is surrounded by open countryside but has excellent links to London, Ascot, Henley-on-Thames, Windsor, Reading, Newbury. and Basingstoke. It is just 28 miles from Heathrow International Airport and 57 miles to London Gatwick.
Guest access
You will have exclusive access to the church, coach house apartment and ancillary bedroom.
The driveway can accommodate 12 cars (though 6 would be blocked in byt the others) in secure gated grounds. Great links via M4 and train.
The host will meet you at the property at your agreed check in time.
Other things to note
The host (or their representative) will be on site (there is a separate studio apartment in the coach house) during your stay. They will not intrude on your visit unless they have concerns about noise levels during quiet hours!
