- "What a lovely place. I booked really late only a few days in advance but it was no problem. Even checking in 2 hours later than I said due to flight delays. Car park is £10 per which isn’t cheap but hassle free. Check in instructions perfect and when you get in the place is lovely. It’s warm yes but there are fans. The only thing I would say is the noise. Saturday night wasn’t too bad but Friday the pub across the road was playing live music outside (yes outside) till midnight!! Other thing is the balcony overlooks a tired shop. Roof terrace is so nice on a nice day. If I am in reading again I will look here first though. "

The space
The bed is comfortable and cosy and in the morning you will wake upto bird song. There is a bedside cabinet, lamp and some hooks and hangers provided. An extension lead and a few drawers for personal items.

This is a basic, cheap room for short stays. No frills and that is reflected in the price. Just a warning if you are a light sleeper, the room is next to the bathroom and so may not be suitable for you.

please follow house recycling rules and no alcohol or bacon / pork allowed here. No shoes in the house please- I have just cleaned the carpets.

A lovely recently renovated modern small double room to relax & unwind in; have a great nights sleep, with plenty of free parking on a quiet road. Business or pleasure the house has great WiFi connection catching up with friends or finishing that report.

This is an ideal location for Madjeski Stadium, Green Park & Reading International Business Park just a short distance away. The town centre is a short bus ride offering a delightful shopping experience at the Oracle and main railway station.

The space
The room has a freestanding wardrobe, double bed. Bed linen, towels & 1 or 2 day breakfast starter box comes as standard. The nearest airport is London Heathrow Airport, 27mi from the house.

Regular trains to London Paddington leave from Reading Railway station. Journey time to London Paddington is between 25 - 50 mins depending on the train you take.

The house has a relaxed, homely feel and a big garden with a few different areas to sit and enjoy being outside – great for coffee breaks, reading, or even working outdoors when the weather's good.

The space
Inside, there’s an open-plan living space. One half is set up as a quieter zone with a desk and chairs – ideal for studying or working – and the other has a sofa and TV, perfect for winding down in the evenings. It's a flexible space and works well whether you're more social or like your own downtime.

You'll have a Queen-size bedroom that comes with:
- A large wardrobe and drawers
- Antique mirror & bedside table
- Smart TV in your room

I live & work in Germany. For this reason, the house is ‘self-serve’ therefore guests are expected to clean up after themselves out of respect for other guests with whom they’ll share the communal areas.

The property is professionally managed by my co-host John and his professional cleaners. Myself and my co-host are only a phone call away for any issues you might have.

Well presented, comfortable, clean, and quiet. Shops & train station all within 15 min walk or less. Tesco express-5 min walk. 25 minutes to central London. Fresh bedding provided. Locks on doors. Desk for home working. Clean bedding and weekly house cleaner provided.

There is no parking available, you may find some free parking around Vicarage Road (off Christchurch road) about a 10 minute walk away, but the council is often implementing car parking charges, so while this might be available at the time of writing this isn’t guaranteed in the future.

During your stay
I work away for months at a time. Always free to take calls or answer messages whenever for whatever you need.

Other things to note
IMPORTANT: The house and living areas are maintained to a high standard and there is a strict expectation of guests that they treat each other and communal spaces with consideration and respect.

All reservations are vetted, and I will generally only accept bookings from those whom have a previous recommendation / Airbnb rating. If you do not have any previous recommendations, I will request further information about yourself. I will not accept reservations from guests that I suspect may be unclean or unsuitable with respect to these rules that are in place for the enjoyment of everyone.

While I have not had any problems in the past, if a guest is made to feel uncomfortable in anyway as a result of behaviour from another guest, they are encouraged to contact me immediately and a full refund will be provided, no questions asked, as a security so that you can book with piece of mind.

There is a weekly cleaner but of course guests are expected to clean up after themselves for the benefit of other guests including emptying the bins in between cleaner visits.

While the room is listed for a single person only, I will accept couples on a case-by-case basis, therefore please make an enquiry in this case. I control this because in the interests and enjoyment of all guests I do not believe it is appropriate for more than 3 people staying in the house at any one time.

Close to shops bus stop very convenient location. You can walk to town restaurant and pubs nearby.

Our house is in a great location. 1 mile from junction 11 on the M4 and less than a mile from Reading University. Also within walking distance is Foster wheeler, The European midrange weather centre and the new Thames valley Science Park and Shinfield Studios.
tea and coffee are freely available. There are number of eating places within walking distance. We have a fully equipped kitchen should you want to prepare your own food.

Welcome to my cozy, clean and quiet home!

You have your own lockable bedroom and a bathroom with shower, no bath. You will share the house with myself, a 32 year old professional who is out working most of the time. I take pride in my home and I hope you will find it a lovely space.

There is some free parking near the house but it can be tricky to get spaces sometimes.

It's walking distance to Reading station, the town centre and shops. It really is a great location on a very quiet street!

The space
My house is a well maintained mid-terrace house that has been done to a high standard inside. All the rooms are clean, bright and I really love my property. I hope you do too!

We want to be COVID proof so everything is cleaned thoroughly before you arrive. There is hand sanitizer available.
