Burton House is on Burton Road in West Didsbury. One of the most sought after and vibrant Manchester locations to live in.

Burton Road boasts five vibrant late night bars all individual, with special ales and cocktails to choose from. Plus the infamous Metropolitan Pub is less than a 20 second walk away.

If you need more, there is a metro line that can take you to Didsbury Village (East Didsbury) for more shops, bars and cafes that are similar to West Didsbury. The Burton Road stop is a 3 minutes walk from Burton House.

It is also a £10, 10 minute, taxi ride into the city centre, or again The Metro can take you there in 20 minutes.

For those without a car, we are just a few steps from the bus-stop, 3 mins walk away from the tram and a 10 mins taxi drive from Manchester Airport and Manchester City Centre.

- "We stay at many properties throughout the year but have never been so bombarded with messages and rules as we have at this property. It stated that as we were on a golf course we may get woken up around 7.30 which was no problem but being woken at 3.45 am was not funny! This was because the property was next to the bin store and rubbish was being collected at this early hour! Generally the property was ok but could do with a repaint and thorough clean. - "This property is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes walking distance from the tram. There is a great coffee kiosk across the street from the West Didsbury tram (next to the post office and near a really yummy pizza place). It is also within walking distance of Indique, one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to. If you’re ambitious, you can walk to Didsbury Village (about a mile along a lovely residential road) to a fishmonger, cheesemonger, butchers, several charity shops and boutiques. Took me a minute and some google search to figure out the shower and it proved to be worth it. Nice shower.You must provide your own paper products: toilet paper, paper towels, napkins. Also bring your own laundry soap if you want to use the washing machine. If something pops up or if there is an emergency (like you lost your keys, happened to me), owners are not immediately available; they don’t work on Sundays. Have an emergency during business hours. While the home is equipped to host 10 people, we think the perfect group size is 6-7. We're happy to host all 8 but keep in mind it will be a little cosier.

No need to draw straws on who sleeps where, because every room in the house is its own sanctuary.

- "All in all a great little flat. Easy to get into Manchester on the tram, Didsbury is lovely for food and drinks. Flat was very clean and perfect size for two couples. Only things to improve would be that the lights up the stairs didn't work and the mattresses were soft and springy."
