Burton House is on Burton Road in West Didsbury. One of the most sought after and vibrant Manchester locations to live in.

Burton Road boasts five vibrant late night bars all individual, with special ales and cocktails to choose from. Plus the infamous Metropolitan Pub is less than a 20 second walk away.

If you need more, there is a metro line that can take you to Didsbury Village (East Didsbury) for more shops, bars and cafes that are similar to West Didsbury. The Burton Road stop is a 3 minutes walk from Burton House.

It is also a £10, 10 minute, taxi ride into the city centre, or again The Metro can take you there in 20 minutes.

For those without a car, we are just a few steps from the bus-stop, 3 mins walk away from the tram and a 10 mins taxi drive from Manchester Airport and Manchester City Centre.

- "We stay at many properties throughout the year but have never been so bombarded with messages and rules as we have at this property. It stated that as we were on a golf course we may get woken up around 7.30 which was no problem but being woken at 3.45 am was not funny! This was because the property was next to the bin store and rubbish was being collected at this early hour! Generally the property was ok but could do with a repaint and thorough clean. - "This property is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes walking distance from the tram. There is a great coffee kiosk across the street from the West Didsbury tram (next to the post office and near a really yummy pizza place). It is also within walking distance of Indique, one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to. If you’re ambitious, you can walk to Didsbury Village (about a mile along a lovely residential road) to a fishmonger, cheesemonger, butchers, several charity shops and boutiques. Took me a minute and some google search to figure out the shower and it proved to be worth it. Nice shower.You must provide your own paper products: toilet paper, paper towels, napkins. Also bring your own laundry soap if you want to use the washing machine. If something pops up or if there is an emergency (like you lost your keys, happened to me), owners are not immediately available; they don’t work on Sundays. Have an emergency during business hours. • To undertake to pay for any losses or damage caused to the property
• To take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the stay.
• To observe the recycling requirements and recycle rubbish during your stay as per the recycling instructions

• To take out the correct bins on collection day if appropriate during the stay. We reserve the right to charge Guests £50 if bins are not taken out or if recycling is not adhered to.

• Not to annoy or become a nuisance to neighbors and occupants of adjoining premises.
• Not to be the cause of any noise between 11 pm and 7 am.
• Not to smoke on the property or any of the public/communal areas associated with it.
• Not to bring any pets to the property.
• To read any safety notices and advice upon arrival at the property.
• Not to re-let or sublet the property to any other group/party without prior written approval from the Managing Agent.
• To only use the property strictly for residential purposes.
• Not to use the property for parties or gatherings. If, on arrival, it is felt the Guest intends to use the property for such an event, the Guest will be refused entrance and no refunds will offered
• Not to make use of the phone or fax line connected to the property.
• Not to light any fires or candles on the property.
• Not to allow any visitors to stay overnight at the property. Only paying guests are allowed.
• In the event of a breach of these terms and conditions, we reserve the right to ask the Guest to leave the property immediately and no refunds will be offered.

Stay in this very nicely presented terrace house and you will be very close to the center of lively Didsbury village with around 15 restaurants within a two minutes walk from the house, a wide variety of shops, and 2 minutes walk from the tram and bus to Manchester, with a train station which takes 10 minutes to the Airport.
The house is relatively narrow, but there is plenty of space for two people, and the living and split level bedroom have a spacious feel.

The house has an open plan lounge/ kitchen / eating area downstairs with an oak floor and granite worktops, and upstairs, a mezzanine bedroom with plenty of wardrobe space, a small bathroom, and a small but bright, south facing, second bedroom which contains the boiler in the visible wardrobe (not available for storage), and integrated drawers beneath the bed for clothes storage.
There are some very steep Victorian stairs to the first floor (bathroom and bedrooms), an open riser staircase and entry to the bed is from one side only. These are not suitable for the very young and will be troublesome for any people with mobility issues. Please avoid booking if this will be an issue.
