- "We booked and paid for a one night stop over as we were travelling back to the USA the following day. Up until 2 hours before check-in we had still not received check-in instructions from the host? We were left stranded in Crawley, sitting in a Cafe, with tons of luggage, frantically trying to contact the host and thereafter VRBO customer service. We ended up having to find alternate accommodation at the very last minute. This host / property should be removed from the VRBO website!!"

Welcome to a lovely self-contained private room and ensuite, part of an attractive and characterful family home just a short 10 minute drive from Gatwick Airport. Overlooking fields with horses and set in 2 acres of garden, the room offers peaceful surroundings for a cosy and comfortable stay. Its close proximity to the airport, train stations and motorway is ideal for flight crew and holiday makers. Horley and Crawley town centres are a short drive with many local amenities.

The space
The room is situated on the ground floor in a private, self-contained part of the house and there is private access to and from the room via the backdoor. The bedroom and bathroom have been beautifully refurbished, offering a light and airy space with a modern-country feel. The room includes a comfortable double bed, armchair seating, desk space and a 50” TV. The bathroom is equipped with a contemporary shower, toilet basin and vanity unit. Tea and coffee facilities, bed linen, towels and toiletries are all provided.
During the warm summer afternoons and evenings, you’d be more than welcome to sit in the garden and enjoy the weather and views. There are two pubs within walking distance where you can enjoy a good meal.

There is free parking on the premises during your stay for the night/s you are with us. You may leave your vehicle with us whilst away on holiday/vacation, however this is at an extra £5 per night. Please communicate with us first if you wish to leave your vehicle and note that if you do so, you do this at your own risk.

Public transport is limited in the area. Taxis are especially recommended for travelling to and from the airport. Taxi prices do vary but current fares for the airport are about £15-£20 which includes the airport's drop-off fee. It is worth noting that guests picking up or dropping off friends/family to the airport terminals should expect to incur the drop-off fee of £5. Please contact us for recommended taxi services.

Latest check in is now 22:00 due to inconsiderate guests waking other guests. If we have an agreement that no noise is made after 22:00 hours we will accept a later check in. Breakfast is not included but is available from 6am till 9am.
