We were very impressed with the Epic hotel. From the reassuring email the day prior to check-in to the comfort of the queen size bed. The kitchen was lovely with a full size refrigerator and the bathroom was beautiful and included a rain type shower head. The room was very clean and well maintained. There is a separate seating area with TV as well as seating at the kitchen counter. The free wi-fi is a necessity and worked flawlessly. The only thing I might suggest is to add some kind of shelf in the bathroom to place toiletries as there was none. (Room #1) This location is ideal for walking access to trains, food, shopping, the docks, the Cavern Club and also a grocery store two blocks away. We felt like we had come across a hidden gem because the price was well under $100 per night. We will be telling all our friends to stay there. Please expand into other cities!"

They then informed me, Les than 24 hours before my arrival that I was being moved to another apartment. The new apartment was in a seedy back street, with balcony views onto a back yard strewn with debris and waste food. It was disgusting. We had no WiFi as they didn’t inform me about the codes etc. the new location was further away from where we needed to be so had to use taxis all the time. There was a family above with a small child who would run around the apartment from 6am but the noise from party goers kept us awake until 4 am then the window cleaner arrived at 7 am….I have made a complaint but they haven’t acknowledged my e mail. I would stay away from these apartments "
