Upon checking in we realized there was a wedding going on and our room was right on that end of the hallway on the open end of the second floor so we were a little concerned but once our door was closed we didn't hear a peep. Our room was a little warm upon check in and we asked the front desk if it would be possible to get a second fan - housekeeping delivered it quickly and we were very grateful - tip: the deluxe rooms are the only ones with air conditioning. The accommodations were advertised and listed as “Our family-friendly property" so we felt comfortable having ourselves and our young children stay there. The hotel itself, as well as the address, wasn't disclosed until a few days before check in. Upon driving to the address, it was clear that it was not in a family-friendly or safe part of the city. There were homeless people, and blaring police sirens everywhere, and not a family or child in sight in the streets. It was an hour before our check in time, and we did not feel safe having our family--specifically our young children, stay in this part of the city, so we called the hotel directly, to try to cancel the reservation before we checked in. They told us that the three rooms were booked through a travel agent, and that we had to go through them to cancel the rooms. At 2pm (still an hour before check in), I tried to cancel the reservation and request a refund (as we already paid in full through the VRBO booking) but was unable to do so, since it was the "day of check in" and the button was not clickable. I contacted the host, Roompicks, via the "contact host" message button to request a cancelation and full refund. They were unhelpful."

The Harry Clarke Mews buildings are located to the rear of the very popular Castle Hotel which is just 2 minutes walk from O'Connell St. Guests of the Mews can enjoy all the facilities of the hotel which include 2 restaurants serving breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner sourced from local ingredients. The room is spacious and has its own dedicated wall mounted table and chair with plenty of storage.
The revolving bed reaches the front wall so there is one side to get out. Take this in consideration if you have any mobility requirements please.

You will have your dedicated bathroom and I am currently dealing with the landlord to have it renovated ;)

The use of the kitchen is agreed only if you are comfortable to use my own stuff as you won't have dedicated things.

Guest access
The access will be done in presence as I live in the house, or via a lock pad when I am not at home. The instructions of the keybox pad will be available here in Airbnb 48hours before your arrival! Always return the key to the key box and turn the numbers to 0000 once finished. Be careful if someone, in particular teenagers, are around you and might see/hear you!
