The Hut is located within the village of Snainton and is ideally located for exploring Whitby, Scarborough, Thornton Le Dale and The North Yorkshire Moors.

The space
As you enter this deceptively spacious accommodation you will find a double bed to the right, which lifts up to reveal spacious storage for your luggage. To the left there is a wood burning stove to keep you toasty warm in the cold winter months. As you proceed you will find a dining table and chairs just big enough for a romantic meal for two. The kitchenette has a small Belfast sink, two burner gas hob, dishwasher, full size fridge with ice box, combination microwave/ conventional oven/grill. You will find adequate cupboard space under the oven for your groceries and a small wardrobe with hanging rail to the right.
The bathroom at the far end has a tiled shower cubicle with bi-fold glass doors. There is a small vanity unit with hand wash bowl and a full size wc and coat hooks on the wall.
The Hut is heated by an LPG boiler with underfloor heating and conventional radiators, combined with the substantial insulation makes this a very cosy space even on the coldest of winter nights. During the summer months the electricity comes exclusively from an off grid solar system.
Outside there is a small paddock where you can watch the ducks and chickens. To the rear of the hut is a very private lawned area with hot tub, an outside dining area with a picnic table and sun loungers at the front where you can soak up the sun and take in the outstanding views of The Vale of Pickering and the wolds beyond.
There is also a shared laundry room available free of charge to all guests.

Guest access
Guests are free to use the whole of the space but make sure the ducks and chickens aren't allowed onto the top garden as they make too much mess which can get walked into the hot tub.
The laundry room is available on request, please message us if you need to use it.
