All bedrooms have an ensuite and Molton Brown toiletries. Bathrobes and lovely white fluffy towels. SMART TVs in each room as well means you can watch your fav TV if you’re desperate to catch up on something while you are away. The kitchen is very well equipped if you are cooking on your break however just over the garden wall is the Mayfield Hotel . We decided to treat ourselves to the carvery which was fantastic value and hit the spot . There is also a soft play in the hotel so the kids can have fun whilst you are dining. Backgarden is small but completely enclosed so if you have a dog with you it’s completely safe to potter out there . We enjoyed our stay so much we fully plan to book again in the summer . Definite 5 stars from us. "

Obviously this is disgusting and put a big dampener on our holiday with our 2 year old. Spoke to someone eventually after trying all the phone numbers and was told that the place would be cleaned if we left for tea/dinner and returned later.Took us over an hour of phone calls and spoke to 3 different people to arrange cleaning. Still not cleaned as no one available apparently... was cleaned after we left the next morning, so 1 night ruined completely. Was eventually offered £75 total refund on 2 nights at £290, which I believe was a poor refund but was the best I could receive I was told. Would definitely not recommend as the staff clearly don't communicate well with guests or each other."
