There is a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and single on the top. It's quite close to the main amenities but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet on a night. WiFi is included and speeds were good enough for us to watch Sky Go via my laptop connected to the TV. Single bedroom also has a TV with soundbar. TV is Android and has Netflix and Prime built in. We had reason to communicate via text with Sarah the owner on a couple of occasions whilst there and responses were swift and helpful. Really couldn't be more complimentary and are already planning to visit again."

- "We had an amazing 2 night stay and would highly recommend this property. We had property #3 which was on the 3rd floor access is only by stairs. This had two double bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room/ Kitchen area. - "Bedford House was amazing, the owners were fantastic, we had to change our dates at short notice they were very accommodating, thank you, we had a lovely 3 night stay and could have stayed longer, we were very lucky with the weather, we would absolutely recommend Bedford House but would not book through Hotels.com again, absolute nightmare of a company, when we tried to change our dates they told us that they could not do it as they could not contact the owners so we looked them up on their Facebook page and the owners sorted it for us without any problems, we then received an email from Hotels.com claiming that they had sorted the date change for us, and then they would not send a confirmation email and we had to send the details of the owners to them before we got a confirmation email which was totally unnecessary stress before our holiday, they never sent any details of key safe number but the owners again came to the rescue."

- "I texted the number in the morning for check in details to which I received no reply. We got there around 4pm to find no parking nearby (no fault of theirs but a heads up would have been nice). We got there and went to number 8 but it was the wrong one. The hotel next door said flat 6 didnt exist to which we panicked. I phoned the number but it rang out and went to voicemail. Then we walked round the square and this guy appeared. We showed him the booking and he went and got our key. He took us up to the apartment showed us the boiler and quickly left. The cleanliness was not great at all. Blood stains on the wall next to couch (i have pictures) aswell as dust everywhere. The pictures online are very deceiving. If everywhere else wasnt booked up for the concert we would have stayed elsewhere. The next morning when we left at 9am we couldn't find anyone to hand the key back to and there were no instructions to do so. I placed the keys in a safe space outside the shed where the man got the keys from originally and took pictures and texted the number again...again no reply. Genuinely upset about this experience."

Our cozy interesting space is sympathetically designed to reflect the old building in which it sits. If your preference is for perfectly smooth plaster walls and luxury finish marble bathrooms it’s probably not for you.

Ecological credentials. We have tried very hard to minimise our carbon footprint. The Barn incorporates a 7.2kw solar array and central heating is via air source heat pumps which maintain a steady 21-22°C ambient temperature and generates the hot water. Extra blankets are also provided. Seasonally appropriate clothing is advised.
