This house is in the Centre of Helmsley within 100m of all the local amenities. The property has just been renovated upstairs to provide ensuite bathrooms to all 3 bedrooms.

The property is a tastefully decorated spacious 3 bedroom cottage. The property has a modern kitchen with all the amenities and utilities that you will require. There is a separate dining room with seating for 8. The sitting room is adjacent with two comfy sofas and two armchairs. There is also the addition of a sunroom on the side of the property with sofas and chairs so you can relax with your wine in the evening sun.
Upstairs there is one bedroom with a king size bed, a second bedroom with 2 divan beds and a third bedroom with 2 single beds. Each bedroom is ensuite with a shower, wc and washbasin, plus bathroom 1 has the addition of a bath. There is a separate loo and washbasin downstairs.
There is a Washing machine, tumble dryer, large freestanding fridge/freezer and a separate fridge.
Towels and bed linen are provided, changed on a weekly basis unless requested otherwise.

This beautiful, newly refurbished 18th century cottage sits in the heart of the lovely North Yorkshire market town of Helmsley. Close to a variety of local amenities and things to do, the house comfortably sleeps six people and provides the ideal option for a relaxing, self-catering break.

The space
This gorgeous three bedroom cottage is the perfect spot to enjoy the bustling, charming, small town of Helmsley itself and also take in the surrounding rolling countryside of Ryedale, North Yorkshire Moors and beyond. Our home, with its welcoming feel, sits within the local community and is a place that our family love to escape to, whatever time of year.

Much larger than it initially looks, this three bedroom cottage offers ample living space for six people but it is equally comfortable if you’re a couple as you can easily close off rooms and just use what you need to.

At the front of the house, on the ground floor, there is a lovely sitting room with a large log burner, sofas and a tucked away TV. What ever the season this is a cosy room with its low ceilings, comfortable seating and nice lighting. That said, on cold days with the log burner roaring it really is a gorgeous space in which to unwind and relax.

In addition, on the ground floor you have a downstairs loo but more importantly a beautiful, light and airy country kitchen with a dining table and a fabulous AGA Masterchef for those who like to cook; microwave, large fridge freezer and all cooking utensils. And at the rear of the house, beyond the kitchen is the conservatory. This room is again a spacious, light room with lots of seating, a log burner, so you can enjoy it on cooler days, and a TV. It works well as a second living space and, with the bifold doors at the end, opens up to be a great garden room. The long rear garden is private, enclosed and all yours.

Upstairs, on the first floor, again you have low, beamed ceilings throughout. At the front there is a twin bedroom with views into the green fields of Duncombe Park, next to this is a nice double room bedroom and thirdly a bathroom with loo, bath and separate shower.

And then up into the eaves of the house, there is a more private, larger bedroom with its own door at the bottom of the stairs, an adjoining bathroom with loo, sink and shower, a kingsize bed and views into the rear garden.

The adjacent property, 2 Stonegarth can be let with this property. It is ideal for two families that want privacy but can come together for meals etc. Well behaved dogs allowed.

Guests are welcome in their own private en-suite rooms, and have use of a shared communal area upstairs for desk working, or to put your feet up. There are no cooking facilities, but Helmsley has a range of great dining options which we are happy to point out to you or book for you, and local shops are on the doorstep if you fancy shopping and feeding yourself, there is space to sit and enjoy your local produce finds. The coffee shop downstairs is open from early until teatime for refreshments if required. Porters car park spaces are located on the left hand side .Public transport is limited in our rural area, but we can advise if you wish to get here without your car, by bus, train (Malton or Thirsk are the nearest rail stations). Monia is also happy to pick up drop off and guide by car locally by agreement, or we can find you a local recommended taxi to help you go further afield, but everything you really need for a great short stay can be found in Helmsley!

My place is in the Centre of Helmsley very quiet with great views but close to all the shops, galleries, restaurants and Duncombe Park. It is a lovely modern spacious but homely house, great for couples, families and small groups, who want to explore North Yorkshire. Well behaved dogs are allowed .
The adjacent property, Feversham Cottage, 1 Stonegarth can be let with this property. It is ideal for two families that want privacy but can come together for meals etc

The space
The house has just been completely renovated to provide spacious open plan modern living downstairs with bifold doors opening onto the garden. The open plan area includes a dining area with seating for 6, leading onto the sitting room with comfy sofas and a couple of armchairs. Upstairs the property has been extended to provide 3 bedrooms that are all ensuite. There are two double bedrooms and a further bedroom with 2 single beds. There is a separate loo and washbasin downstairs.
There is a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and extra large freestanding fridge/freezer.
Towels and bed linen are provided, changed on a weekly basis unless requested otherwise.
Outside there is a small private garden with outdoor furniture and 2 car parking spaces to the font of the property.

Guest access
Guests have access to the whole property and the garden for the duration of their stay

Notes on accommodation: Well behaved medium sized dogs are accepted (Max of 2) The charge is £5 a night or £25 a week per dog.The furnishings in the house are all new and although we accept well behaved dogs, we expect them to be kept in the kitchen and utility room until they are completely dry and clean. It goes without saying that no dog may go on the furniture. No dog may go upstairs and no dog may be left in the house while you are out. Any damage caused by your dogs will automatically come off your deposit. Please inform us if you are bringing dogs.

Our trio of lodges each have their own unique individual themed rooms within which you will love to spend time on a long relaxing Adults Only weekend. Our outside area has picnic tables and a gas BBQ for use. Each lodge has outdoor seats and a table.

Set in a forest surrounding, and high on the North York Moors, we are perfectly situated only 1 mile from the centre of Helmsley. The town itself is very quaint and full of lovely shops, boutiques, tearooms, pubs and restaurants.

The space
Each lodge has full underfloor heating, mood lighting, a full kitchen and bathroom with rain shower, we also provide bathrobes/towels. You will have use of a blue tooth radio/speaker in each of our lodges as well as a coffee machine.

We offer a welcome pack consisting of teabags, coffee, jam and milk.

The TV is app only for Netflix, BBC I Player, More4 and many more, remeber to bring your logins! Our lodge has it's own decking and a table and chairs for sitting outside.

Guest access
Entrance is the main gate 'Cliff Stud'. Please buzz the gates to be allowed access. Once there drive past the main house, through the first gate and you will pass 2 cottages on the right. Drive straight on and down, past the barn on the left and on your right you will see another gate. Open this (don't forget to close it behind you!) drive straight down to the bottom of the field and onl your left you will see the lodges.

Your lodge is the one to the left hand side. There is a keybox holder next to the door and your code will be provided before your stay.
