The shepherds hut nestles in the corner of Mill Farm Country Park with mature hedges behind. It makes an Ideal glamping holiday for two people visiting the area, a birthday treat or meeting up with friends and family who may be staying at Mill Farm Country Park with their own caravan, motorhome or tent. It has been well equipped and cleverly designed to give the maximum amount of space and storage,
I provide a welcome pack of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a pint of locally produced milk upon arrival.

It is fitted out with a large double bed complete with linen and towels, wardrobe, large draw under the bed, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, radio and a heater, the fitted dresser is also kitted out with utensils and crockery.

Please note that the pictured bunting and fairy lights are extra, they are a one off payment of £7.50 each at the beginning of your stay please email me if you would like them.

Guest access

Toilets, showers and dish washing facilities all have free hot water and are conveniently positioned 50 meters away in the main building on the campsite.

There is a wooded farm walk along the fields where you can go for a stroll and you might spot all sorts of wildlife including Roe deer and owls.

Interaction with guests

Upon arrival call in at Mill Farm to book in and obtain the key code for the key safe for the shepherds hut, and then you are free to come and go as you please. If you have any problems or questions please contact us at reception.

Three minutes walk along Mill Lane takes you into Skipsea village where there is a mini supermarket & Post Office, a hairdressers and there is food available at the Board Inn.
A short walk through the village leads you to All St Church which dates from 1090 and was completely rebuilt in the 14c. further on is Skipsea castle site (motte & bailey) dates from 1086.
On the edge of the village there is an ice cream parlour and tearoom.
Twelve minutes walk in the other direction from the shepherds hut takes you to a view of the sea where on a clear day you can see Flambough Head and all the way to Spurn Point there are also fish & chips and amusements.

Burton Agnes Station.: The house originally formed part of Burton Agnes Station The Tallest section of the property was the Grain Store, from where grain was loaded onto the railway carriages. Some of the original features are still apprent in the building.
The lower long building, now housing the bedrooms and bathrooms was originally the railway warehouse and workshops. The orginal beams feature in the Platinum and Britania Suites. Burton Agnes Station is no longer in service however the Bridlington to Hull two carriage, speed restricted service still passes twice an hour (peak time). - "The house is beautiful and very well equipped. Open plan kitchen/ dining room is ideal for entertaining a large group, family in our case. There are plenty of reception rooms so it is possible for groups to “breakaway” if they want to , for example, watch different TV programmes, etc. The Christmas decorations really added to the festive atmosphere and were much appreciated. The beach at Fraisethorpe is wonderful and particularly good for dogs! Prior to our arrival the dishwasher broke and could not be repaired in time - which unfortunately did mean a lot of washing up during the week - not ideal when on holiday with many people. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend the house for groups - it is not cheap but is definitely a luxury getaway treat."

Superb newly renovated barn conversion in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, situated on a working farm in the picturesque village of Lund. The space
The bungalow is situated in a very quiet location 4 miles from Driffield town center in the beautiful Wolds of East Yorkshire. Never let it be said that just because we live in a pretty chocolate box setting that we don't have a lot to offer our visitors.
There is off street parking at the bungalow. TV in room, plus wireless internet. The room is very bright and clean. The family bathroom with stand alone shower, WC and wash basin. You are welcome to use my kitchen as long as it is kept as found.
Hutton and Driffield has excellent bus and train links to York, Hull, Doncaster, Leeds and London. Bridlington, Scarborough, & Bridlington. Hull city of culture is just a short train ride away where you will find the culture ozzing from every corner.
Beverley has several tourist attractions, not least the magnificent 12th century Cathedral known as the Minster (very similar to York Minster), approx 13 miles away, bus or train ride. There is a train station less than a mile away and also a bus stop just round the corner.
Driffield is a lovely market town in the heart of the worlds and can offer that relaxing rest or a busy interesting visit with everything just a short ride away. The town has plenty of shops and cafes and restaurants of all cultures to cater for. We live in a quiet Cul-de-sac with a mixture of houses and bungalows. I'm told from previous boarders that The Way of the Roses cycle route is very unique because of York not being too far away. Also the Woldsman 50 walk. The North sea coast line has beautiful views to take in whether you are a casual cyclist or walker. We have a secure back garden and live in a safe area where you can leave your bike under cover or in our shed.
What makes our place unique is us, because we will do our utmost to make your stay one to remember.

Cedar is an en suite glamping cabin. It is beautifully finished through out. Inside it has a double bed, a pull out single bed, a small kitchen with microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. The en suite consists of a shower, toilet and sink. It has gas central heating and is very well insulated.
