Renovated in 2024, we are pleased to offer for rent this off water 2 bedroom cottage that is both comfortable and conveniently located. It is on a half acre lot with mature landscape that creates privacy from neighboring properties. Walk just two houses to a Castle Rock Lake swimming beach. It’s a good spot for swimming, (dogs too) picnics or to launch canoes & kayaks. A larger sandy beach with picnic table, boat launch with ample parking is less than 2 minutes by car .
This very well maintained home is on a quiet street, is best suited to 4 or fewer adult guests and has an eat in kitchen with full sized appliances and fully equipped with with silverware, utensils, pots, pans, bakeware (metal and glass) spices and crockpot, a stand mixer, a drip coffee maker, creamer, sugars, a toaster and blender. There is also a Berkey to filter water. The kitchen is open to the living room. Our large screened porch off the living room has a wrought iron table and 4 chairs, gas grill, ceiling fan, settee, side chair and firewood rack.

There are two Queen bedrooms plus a full size futon in the living room. All linens are provided including towels. The cottage has a full bath with full sized washer, dryer and pullout drying rack. The shower has a built in seat and hand held shower head. Wireless internet is suitable for streaming movies on a 43” Roku TV. free Roku channels included. There is also a 32” Roku TV in the rear bedroom with white cabinet.

While this property is newer to the vacation rental market, we are not new to vacation rentals in the Castle Rock Lake area. We previously operated a popular vacation cabin (UnDells Cabin) that had many repeat guests in Necedah WI from 2005 through 2023 and as Premier Hosts we maintained a 4.7 rating on Vrbo. Our cottage is available for the first time in Summer 2024. It’s very conveniently located with all the basics like a convenience store, indoor/outdoor dining restaurant, boat launches, state park and beaches close by (2-5 mins) in a quiet and relaxing setting.

The outdoor fire pit has a swing away grill and is surrounded by chairs. Some firewood is provided. Plenty of parking in our driveway for a boat trailer and a couple vehicles. There is a security camera pointed at the driveway on the garage at the above and left of the garage door.

Swimming beach areas are a short walk past 2 houses and across the road. A larger beach with picnic tables, bathroom and boat launch is just over a minute away by car. Buckhorn State Park, Buckhorn Grill and Bar and Buckhorn Store are a quick five minute drive. Buckhorn store offers basic groceries, carryout pizza, liquor, ice and fishing tackle, night crawlers and gas. Buckhorn Grill and Bar is a popular family friendly indoor/outdoor restaurant with good food and service. There is also an auto repair shop next to the Buckhorn Store. A New Lisbon Dollar General is just over 5 mins by car on Rt 58 as is as the family owned Germantown Store (at County G and Rt 58 near the BP) which soon will have a drive through for foods like Italian Beefs, Chicago style hot dogs and much more.

A full service grocery/liquor store (Festival) Dollar Tree and restaurants as well as Kwik Trips are in Mauston and Necedah. Wisconsin Dells with fun attractions and shopping are about 35 minutes south of New Lisbon off of I-90.

New Lisbon has two boat dealers (V2 and Castle Rock Marine) both offering full service and Adrenaline Motor Sports offers ATV and UTV tours of the local area. Boat rentals are available 10-15 minutes away at Castle Rock Water Sports located at Shipwreck Bay in New Lisbon off of County Rd G.

Come stay in our 3 bedroom / 2 bath cabin - only 30 minutes from the Dells and steps away from Castle Rock Lake. Come to relax, boat, fish, swim, golf, snow mobile- Too many options to describe! The fire pit is a great way to end the day and enjoy the stars or the sunset over the lake. The game room is great for rainy days- with pool table and darts - not to mention the board games and puzzles. Each bedroom has a TV and the twin bedroom and living room both have a DVD player.

Sleeps 8 and pet friendly! We provide the bedding and towels - The kitchen is fully stocked and we have a gas grill and a charcoal grill for you to use. Close enough to the Dells and yet - nice and quiet after busy days. There is a public beach less than a mile away and a public boat launch - just blocks away.

Pets are welcome- please ask first:) Internet/WIFI is installed and working great - and we just put in a beautiful new gas range with convection cooking. The master bathroom complete with washer/dryer was just installed and we couldn't be happier:)

Welcome to our custom built cabin situated on a 2 acre deeply wooded lot, on the western shores of the Castle Rock Lake. Definitely one of the most prominent locations of the lake!
With over 3600 square feet of spaciousness, our home sleeps up to 12 guests without compromising the privacy or comfort.

This three level, tastefully decorated cabin is located directly off water, and only a 5 minute walking distance to the lake and the beach.

Built in 2005, the house features all up-to date conveniences including fully equipped kitchen with solid hickory cabinets, stainless steel appliances and granite counter-tops. Large peninsula provides additional sitting and casual dining options for six.
Sound proofing between the main level and lower walked out level, whole house humidifier, air filtration system and water softener makes this house even more comfortable.

Secured wireless internet WIFI access, as well as phone land line with free local calls are also included in rental.

The main floor open concept design features great room with 42' flat screen HDTV above stone wood burning fireplace, wall of viewing windows, sliding door to the deck, hardwood floors and 25 foot vaulted ceiling.
Two bedrooms (both with queen size beds), two bathrooms and laundry room with Maytag stackable washer/dryer completes the main floor.

Hand hewn stairway connects the main floor to the loft overlooking a great room. On this level the guests can find two full size futons, flat screen TV and siting area perfect for relaxing, movie watching, game of cards or just quite reading.

The walk-out lower level game lounge features a TV area with 55' flat screen TV, ping pong table and large selection of board games.
Two additional bedrooms (one with king size and one queen size beds) plus two bathrooms complete the lover level of the house.

With several gathering areas indoor and outdoor, this home is an ideal retreat for several families or a family reunion.

In the summer enjoy grilling, sitting by the fire-pit or choose from wide variety of outdoor activities including boating, canoeing, kayaking (two new kayaks and canoe are included in rental), para-sailing, hiking, golfing, biking at the State Bike Trails or horseback riding.

There are boat, pontoon and jet ski rentals as well as reasonable dock rental available very close by, less then a mile from the house.

Just 30-minute drive to the Wisconsin Dells, where you can find entertainment for the entire family: water parks, mini golf, restaurants, bars, go-carts, movie theater..... there is something for everyone.

In the winter skiing, sledding or snowboarding at two ski hills Cascade Mountain and Devil's Head both within 45 minutes distance, or snowmobiling with an easy access to the Juneau County marked snowmobile trails.

Enjoy nature from the deck of our home, quite close to Castle Rock Lake. We're situated in a cul de sac, in May's Point area on the west side of Castle Rock. We have deeded access with a pier for rental, feel free to bring your own boat.

Our cabin/home, built in 2007, is fully functional — giving your family the modern conveniences you expect and the ambience your getaway vacation deserves!

This 1.5 acre pie-shaped lot offers a private escape to the woods, with a short 2 minute walk to the shared pier. Dock your boat during your entire stay on the shared pier and enjoy endless lake activities. Star gaze the vast night skies, roast marshmallows, laugh and tell family tales around the campfire in the evenings, and relax on the deck with rocking chairs.

This home accommodates your family of 10+, with 3 bedrooms, the 3rd bedroom being the large room with multiple bed options. The hardwood flooring throughout completes the natural decor of our cabin. The fully-stocked kitchen offers all the modern stainless steel appliances to prepare meals and entertain your family and friends.

I have never been to a VRBO that had kitchen skillets that were in as good of shape as these were and I have stayed at several. Towels were better than a hotel and the place was clean.
