Renovated in 2024, we are pleased to offer for rent this off water 2 bedroom cottage that is both comfortable and conveniently located. It is on a half acre lot with mature landscape that creates privacy from neighboring properties. Walk just two houses to a Castle Rock Lake swimming beach. It’s a good spot for swimming, (dogs too) picnics or to launch canoes & kayaks. A larger sandy beach with picnic table, boat launch with ample parking is less than 2 minutes by car .
This very well maintained home is on a quiet street, is best suited to 4 or fewer adult guests and has an eat in kitchen with full sized appliances and fully equipped with with silverware, utensils, pots, pans, bakeware (metal and glass) spices and crockpot, a stand mixer, a drip coffee maker, creamer, sugars, a toaster and blender. There is also a Berkey to filter water. The kitchen is open to the living room. Our large screened porch off the living room has a wrought iron table and 4 chairs, gas grill, ceiling fan, settee, side chair and firewood rack.

There are two Queen bedrooms plus a full size futon in the living room. All linens are provided including towels. The cottage has a full bath with full sized washer, dryer and pullout drying rack. The shower has a built in seat and hand held shower head. Wireless internet is suitable for streaming movies on a 43” Roku TV. free Roku channels included. There is also a 32” Roku TV in the rear bedroom with white cabinet.

While this property is newer to the vacation rental market, we are not new to vacation rentals in the Castle Rock Lake area. We previously operated a popular vacation cabin (UnDells Cabin) that had many repeat guests in Necedah WI from 2005 through 2023 and as Premier Hosts we maintained a 4.7 rating on Vrbo. Our cottage is available for the first time in Summer 2024. It’s very conveniently located with all the basics like a convenience store, indoor/outdoor dining restaurant, boat launches, state park and beaches close by (2-5 mins) in a quiet and relaxing setting.

The outdoor fire pit has a swing away grill and is surrounded by chairs. Some firewood is provided. Plenty of parking in our driveway for a boat trailer and a couple vehicles. There is a security camera pointed at the driveway on the garage at the above and left of the garage door.

Swimming beach areas are a short walk past 2 houses and across the road. A larger beach with picnic tables, bathroom and boat launch is just over a minute away by car. Buckhorn State Park, Buckhorn Grill and Bar and Buckhorn Store are a quick five minute drive. Buckhorn store offers basic groceries, carryout pizza, liquor, ice and fishing tackle, night crawlers and gas. Buckhorn Grill and Bar is a popular family friendly indoor/outdoor restaurant with good food and service. There is also an auto repair shop next to the Buckhorn Store. A New Lisbon Dollar General is just over 5 mins by car on Rt 58 as is as the family owned Germantown Store (at County G and Rt 58 near the BP) which soon will have a drive through for foods like Italian Beefs, Chicago style hot dogs and much more.

A full service grocery/liquor store (Festival) Dollar Tree and restaurants as well as Kwik Trips are in Mauston and Necedah. Wisconsin Dells with fun attractions and shopping are about 35 minutes south of New Lisbon off of I-90.

New Lisbon has two boat dealers (V2 and Castle Rock Marine) both offering full service and Adrenaline Motor Sports offers ATV and UTV tours of the local area. Boat rentals are available 10-15 minutes away at Castle Rock Water Sports located at Shipwreck Bay in New Lisbon off of County Rd G.

Come stay in our 3 bedroom / 2 bath cabin - only 30 minutes from the Dells and steps away from Castle Rock Lake. Come to relax, boat, fish, swim, golf, snow mobile- Too many options to describe! The fire pit is a great way to end the day and enjoy the stars or the sunset over the lake. The game room is great for rainy days- with pool table and darts - not to mention the board games and puzzles. Each bedroom has a TV and the twin bedroom and living room both have a DVD player.

Sleeps 8 and pet friendly! We provide the bedding and towels - The kitchen is fully stocked and we have a gas grill and a charcoal grill for you to use. Close enough to the Dells and yet - nice and quiet after busy days. There is a public beach less than a mile away and a public boat launch - just blocks away.

Pets are welcome- please ask first:) Internet/WIFI is installed and working great - and we just put in a beautiful new gas range with convection cooking. The master bathroom complete with washer/dryer was just installed and we couldn't be happier:)

Welcome to our custom built cabin situated on a 2 acre deeply wooded lot, on the western shores of the Castle Rock Lake. Definitely one of the most prominent locations of the lake!
With over 3600 square feet of spaciousness, our home sleeps up to 12 guests without compromising the privacy or comfort.

This three level, tastefully decorated cabin is located directly off water, and only a 5 minute walking distance to the lake and the beach.

Built in 2005, the house features all up-to date conveniences including fully equipped kitchen with solid hickory cabinets, stainless steel appliances and granite counter-tops. Large peninsula provides additional sitting and casual dining options for six.
Sound proofing between the main level and lower walked out level, whole house humidifier, air filtration system and water softener makes this house even more comfortable.

The main floor open concept design features great room with 42' flat screen HDTV above stone wood burning fireplace, wall of viewing windows, sliding door to the deck, hardwood floors and 25 foot vaulted ceiling.

In the winter skiing, sledding or snowboarding at two ski hills Cascade Mountain and Devil's Head both within 45 minutes distance, or snowmobiling with an easy access to the Juneau County marked snowmobile trails.

Enjoy nature from the deck of our home, quite close to Castle Rock Lake. We're situated in a cul de sac, in May's Point area on the west side of Castle Rock. We have deeded access with a pier for rental, feel free to bring your own boat.

Our cabin/home, built in 2007, is fully functional — giving your family the modern conveniences you expect and the ambience your getaway vacation deserves!

This 1.5 acre pie-shaped lot offers a private escape to the woods, with a short 2 minute walk to the shared pier. Dock your boat during your entire stay on the shared pier and enjoy endless lake activities. Other golf corses nearby are such as Mound view golf, about 10 mins away. Also Lake Arrowhead Pines Golf about 30 Mins away.

House Rules
- We are located in a friendly and welcoming community and, although this is may be your vacation time, it's home to other people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between the hours of 10 PM and 8 AM noise should be kept to a minimum.
- We take pride in providing a clean and well maintained property for all to experience. While we aim to provide all with a great stay, parties or events are not allowed at the property out of an abundance of respect for our neighbors and all future guests. Should extensive cleaning be required due to observed events, additional fees will be added.
- Please understand that there is NO lifeguard on duty while swimming.
- Kayaks & Canoes MUST be brought back up to the home and not left near the water
- Per the WI Power Company, ALL items MUST be removed from the first 100 ft of shoreline and placed back at the property each night. This includes items such as lawn chairs, floatables, kids toys, etc. Should it be observed that any guest of the property leave items within 100 ft of shoreline overnight, guest will be charged $500
- NO overnight parking of your boat at the dock. Sanctuary Shores' dock is considered a DAY DOCK and is for renters use ONLY. While boats are allowed to be tied off to the dock during the day, it is mandatory that all boats be removed from the water overnight and cannot be tied off to the dock. Please be observant of the weather. If you recognize windy conditions, please remove your boat from the dock and out of the water. Should any damage to the dock occur due to misuse, renters will be responsible for the damage incurred. Should it be observed that any guest of the property dock their boat overnight, a $250 charge per night boat docked will be charged to the guest.
- This is a smoke-free home, including the outside area surrounding the property. No smoking of any substance, including vaping in the home. There will be a $250 fine if any substance use has been used and extra cleaning services are needed.
- We love animals but we chose to make this home pet-free due to many people being allergic, please respect that. If the pet is a service animal please feel free to share papers/documentation. If any signs of a pet were found upon departure and extra cleaning services are needed there will be a $250 charge added.
- We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything, please let us know immediately - if it's minor we usually won't charge. If it's a larger issue (e.g. the TV screen!) we would like to agree the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later.
- Should it be observed that there are additional guests above and beyond the listed limit for the home, guest will be charged an additional $250 per guest per night above the limit
- Should it be observed that law enforcement report to the property as a result of a noise complaint, guest will be charged $500 per incident.

- "We had a group of friends camping at a nearby campground. We have two children under 2 so we wanted to find a place that we could be nearby but still have a comfortable place for the kids to sleep and us to get some rest as well! This property is a little intimidating as you first approach it because it is so off the beaten path but it is perfect for what we needed. Maria keeps it very clean and it was stocked with many essentials to keep us from packing as much or buying stuff on our trip. Maria even stopped by one morning to drop off fresh picked strawberries and farm fresh eggs! If we are ever in the area again we will certainly stay here!"

Pizza cutters, egg slicer, potato peeler and masher, pots and pans galore including a lobster steamer. Charcuterie board, crockpot, serving platters, cake dish, cutting boards--you name it! We even have fun things like an Igloo ice maker (to make ice ice babies) a handy dust buster for crumbs, and a huge live edge dining table that seats 8 for your family meals. Cabinets stocked with a complete set of cookware, dinnerware and drinkware. This is not your typical kitchen folks! I have several of everything you could possibly need--please let me know if I have missed anything.

Designed for groups up to 8, our Luxury Cabin features 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and queen futon sofa. Each bed is protected by a bamboo mattress cover. Fully stocked with linens, towels, beach towels shampoo/conditioner, make up remover, lotion and body soap. You'll love the pounded copper sink and wine barrel base! Please be aware, the provided toiletries are mildly scented and a mix of what's available. For those with an aversion to scents etc, please bring your preference.

That's right! an indoor Jacuzzi tub, with shower sprayer, fancy fire flickering lighting for ambiance, teak bench that holds the sauna wraps, hair wraps, reusable slippers and towels for you to enjoy the huge sauna and relax your mind and muscles after a long day outdoors. I also like to include spa merch like, facial masks, hand masks, foot masks, fancy lotion, essential oils, lymphatic roller, and sea salt scrubs--that you can use as needed, but they are to remain in the cabin.

In the downstairs of the cabin you will enjoy air hockey, darts, a Mortal Kombat arcade game (Finish him!!) tons of board games and DVDs, books and a vintage toy box filled with fun stuff for the littles including train tracks and a city play rug with a coffee table shaped like a boat.

Just outside the kitchen you will have access to a large deck directly overlooking the huge yard full of trees that look like they could be growing in the hills of Italy. It comes with a propane BBQ, a chiminea, a huge firepit with marshmallow roasting sticks and stylish outdoor lounging furniture. Two picnic tables, and chair swing too! In the garage we also keep a rolling cooler, and camping chairs for you to use by the firepit or beach. If you're bringing the kids to the beach 5 minutes away, feel free to bring the rubber ducky 6' by 9' floating pad for their enjoyment!
Just a short walk down the road or even shorter drive, you will find yourself at Castle Rock Lake, and the WI River. There is a public boat launch right there, and you can also use several of the nearby launches, go to the nearest beach at Rustic Ridge, or rent a boat or jet ski at Michaels Landing or Big Papas Pontoons. If you want a smaller lake for kids to swim in and it is roped off, you can go to nearby Friendship Lake. You will see breathtaking and tranquil scenery. Get active and go kayaking or have a seat by the fire and enjoy a glass of your favorite beverage while surrounded by nature.
We also have outdoor games like corn hole (bean bag toss), ring toss/hook, gloves and baseballs, fishing poles and lures, sleds, and a can crusher.

While we are not ON the Lake, it is literally just down the road. Guests bring their boats, and the driveway is nice and long, flat and straight, and can fit a boat and probably up to 7 cars if no boat. You will want to go fishing--and you don't need a boat, but will need a license which you can get from the nearby gas station.

★ESSENTIALS★
The house is equipped withWiFi (altho this is a cabin to unplug and relax, please note the wifi is spotty at best), hvac, fans in the bedrooms, hepa air filter, whole house reverse osmosis system and all the comforts that are essential.
The house is set on a .60 acre lot for plenty of privacy while still not completely cut off from civilization (it's not serial killer country ;) and you always feel safe.

★Living Room★
Spacious living room with beautiful views of the main drag where you can sit on the front deck and watch the boaters go by. A set up of two luxury leather couches, and chair with ottoman, pillows and blankets for comfort with seating for 6 in front of the TV and a beautiful view of the pot belly stove fireplace. A cool wine barrel coffee table and side table for convenience. Also in the room is the bar height peninsula with adjusting swivel stools to watch TV from, eat and drink and enjoy with the couch dwellers.

★TV and Entertainment★
With a 65” television (new smart tv and we have all the apps--HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+ Amazon Prime, YouTube, Peacock, Shudder, Hulu, etc!) you will have no problem enjoying movie night with your housemates, unless there are too many devices logged on to the wifi at one time. This is ultimately a place to unplug, and the internet is not very good here in the woods. If you have trouble, we also have about 250 DVDs and several board games and cards, and bingo, etc for you to enjoy. There is also a blueray and dvd player.
Of course, you are welcome to login to any of your other streaming services if the wifi is cooperating, but no purchases allowed.

There is a fantastic portable "little jam" Marshall bluetooth speaker for you to enjoy music inside or outside. The little jam is important to us, so please keep it away from water etc.

★ Cell Phone coverage★
AT&T and T-Mobile/Sprint and Verizon have decent cell coverage at the house and neighborhood but alas it is the woods of WI. Please download checkin information and Wifi password prior to your arrival to avoid not being able to communicate with us.
★Guest access★
You will have the entire house and property to yourself. Only registered guests are allowed, unless specifically agreed upon during the booking process. Any unannounced guests will be asked to leave and the reservation may be canceled at will.
You have access to the entire property. You are not just booking the house, but the entire .60 acre property; spacious 1.5 car garage. 2 decks. Take it all in!

★RULES★
ONLY use the firepit, chimenea, pot belly stove, grill, and torches if you are going to be monitoring it. (i.e no spontaneous fire-starting on the property please! And, don't leave fires unattended)
EVENTS are not permitted
PLEASE respect your neighbors. Noise travels in the thin air so please respect quiet hours which start at 10:00pm.
* * NO PETS ALLOWED * * We love animals, and pets are family to us. We have our own doggie and she gets so upset when she smells another pet in the cabin, so we just do not want to do that to her.

This house also has its own well. It is not a waterpark--that's 35 minutes away in the Dells. The water pressure is light but consistent and we have never run out of water. However, if you are running the dishwasher for instance, don't take a shower at the same time--as the water redirects to the thing that is drawing the most water at that time, same with laundry. Don't expect to fill the 40 gallon jacuzzi with hot water, and then have a ton of hot water left from the 50 gallon hot water tank.
In winter, we do our best to keep the driveway cleared of snow. However, depending on your arrival/departure time, we can't always guarantee the driveway will be cleared up. Steve, our everything guy can only do so much!
Most importantly, enjoy your stay at the Cabin! We enjoy it tremendously, and thought, hey why not share it with our friends! Afterall, it's located in Friendship WI!

The space
The home is a rustic lake home on the shore of Castle Rock Lake. The deck wraps around 3 sides of the home with seating areas on the Lakeside and Roadside of the home.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire home, deck area, garage in lower level of home and lake side patio and pier. The pier is put installed in early April each year and removed in mid September. The second garage and boat house are used for storage and you will not have access to the inside of these buildings.

Other things to note
The lake side deck is located on the property on top of the boathouse at the shore of Castle Rock Lake.
