You will find Four Seasons at Plum Lake in Sayner, Wisconsin a wonderful spot for any season. Four Seasons is a quiet retreat with sleeping for up to 8 people (4 is best in winter). This home has lodging on two levels each having full baths, with separate entrances. The deck overlooking the lake shore provides a fabulous view of Plum Lake, along with being a great spot for evening dining. This location provides comfort and surroundings that one would expect in the northwoods of Wisconsin.

Our home can be accessed without person to person contact at check-in.

The shoreline area is very well maintained area, with the sand very comfortable (tilled regularly). There is a fire pit at the shore, along with a new log swing.

We have three kayaks, two SUP's, a canoe and a licensed row boat available on site.

The lake bottom at our shore is "gin clear" and sandy. The depth is great for children for play at the shore. Off the end of the dock the depth is greater. We habve sand toys available for children. Take our noodles and enjoy the water!

Our rates are for up to 8 people, extra person charge is $100 per week. Our home is just minutes from Camp Highlands.

Plum Lake is a 1057 acre lake located in Vilas County. It has a maximum depth of 57 feet. The lake is very unique with its long north-south shoreline, making for a great ride on a pontoon.

Visitors have access to the lake from public boat landings (boat launch nearby). Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. The lake's water is gin clear, great for swimming and water ski fun! Convenient access to the snowmobile trails for winter escapes.

One half of total costs including the $300 security deposit is required with reservation. Balance of total costs (which includes the $300 security deposit) is required 60 days prior to arrival.

We are a non-smoking property.

Our property rents from Friday to Friday in late May, June, July, August and September. We rent through the third week of October. We do accept short stays in early May and in October.

Thanksgiving time period rentals are accepted.

In the winter, we rent from Christmas time until early March. In this timeframe, we do not only rent on a weekly basis, but will accept weekend rentals.

All rates subject to State and Town Tax. We have to send you an additional charge for the Town of Plum Lake tax through VRBO. Check in is anytime after 2PM, check out time is by 9AM on your departure date. Access codes for the main door will be provided in the week before your arrival.

4 season home, built in 2004, is equipped with all modern amenities including Direct TV, high speed Internet ( works well for video conferencing and streaming services), washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, 3500 square feet with downstairs equipped with billards, air hockey, chess table, fusball table, HDTV upstairs, downstairs, and master BR. The home also has for its guests 3 single passenger kayaks, one two person kayak, 3 SUP paddleboards, 14 foot flatback canoe, and a 14 foot rowboat.
For winter enthusiasts, one can snowmobile from our door about 100 yards to catch the marked trails! Snowshoe directly out the door, or nearby trails including cross country skiing are available! Ice fishing has hot spots directly off our lakefront.

Located on beautiful Star Lake, one of the most desirable lakes in northern Wisconsin, the Star Camp Compound includes Oak and Fern Cabins which were newly completed in 2007. These year round homes have rustic north woods charm for the perfect vacation.

Oak Cabin and Fern Cabin rent as a duo during our peak season-May through the first week of September. Oak and Fern can be rented separately or together for a discounted rate during our off-peak months-September-April, excluding holidays. Please inquire directly about holiday rates.

Oak Cabin has one king, and two queen bedroom suites, each with its own private bathroom, and also includes a separate powder room. Oak Cabin includes a fully outfitted kitchen with dishwasher, double ovens, gas grill, and a dining table suitable for ten. Oak Cabin's large screened porch overlooks the lake.

The cabin, the only one on the lake, is set on private land surrounded by DNR land with the only public access to the lake available through a small boat launch on the opposite side of the lake (You can bring your own boat to launch and can dock it on our pier). You'll enjoy the serenity of canoeing the lake to see beaver dams, trumpeter swans, eagles, and lily pads with only a handful of fisherman for company.

While there aren't any neighbors, don't think you'll be without creature comforts! The great room boasts a beautiful stone fireplace and a 42" LCD TV (and DVD player) for rainy days. The dining area takes advantage of the cabin being located on a point and affords views of both shorelines. There is a canoe and two kayaks available for your use, as well as a small rowboat. There are king beds in both the master and lower level bedrooms, while the lofts are outfitted with a 2 twin beds each. In addition, both Eagle River and Minoqua (and all they have to offer) are 30 minutes away.

Two bedroom, two bath, two story home in the woods (second floor is main floor). Enjoy the peaceful secluded, wooded lot with two outdoor firepits and large balcony. Inside you will find everything you need to relax, unwind and unplug from the busyness of every day life. The main living space is found on the second floor and boasts beautiful vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, silverware and a Keurig and coffee pot and pizza oven. There is a full size refrigerator, stove and dishwasher and kitchen table as well as additional seating at the counter.
The kitchen opens up to a living space with a wall of windows that give you a beautiful view of the Northwoods. Head out to the deck to relax or kick back inside and play some board games with family and friends. There is an antenna for the TV (just PBS) but you are welcome to bring your own streaming device (such as a fire stick or roku) as the TV has HDMI ports available. There are also plenty of DVDs available for you to enjoy.
The main bedroom boast beautiful views, a queen size bed, closet, dresser and small sitting area with a recliner. The second bedroom has a sturdy twin over full bunk bed.
There is also a washer and dryer available for your use. Mini ironing board and full sized iron located in laundry room.
There is a large driveway with plenty of parking and room for boat or snowmobile trailers.
Located about 10 miles/15 minutes from downtown Minocqua where you will find everything from shopping and restaurants to lake access for boating and swimming. For winter enjoyment, you are able to ride your snowmobile directly to the trail from the house.

Located on 1.5 acres surrounded by a mixture of hardwood and evergreen forest, adjacent to the Woodlands Resort on Plum Lake. Plum Lake is 1000 acre, full recreational lake in Vilas County. Our tiny house is not on water but has 22' of sandy beach, lake access a short walk away.

The Bear Cub Cabin is equipped w/a full kitchen, bathroom w/shower & washer and dryer unit. Sleeps 6 comfortably with a queen bed, 2 bunk beds + loft area. Living area furnished with a futon, TV/DVD & a screened-in porch with chairs and table.

Kitchen has fridge/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, dishes/pots and pans, silverware and drip coffee maker. Windows have curtains.

Regarding bedding and bath amenities, we do not provide bedding or shampoo, conditioner, body wash or a hair dryer and recommend guests bring these items with them.

We provide self-check-in with keycode access to the tiny home. There is WiFi available, if needed but we encourage you to unplug and enjoy the northwoods as much as possible.

This chain of lakes offers a gorgeous lake setting for nature lovers and sport fishermen alike. White Birch Lake is a 113-acre lake with a depth of 27 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, and Walleye. The lake's water clarity is very clear. Ballard Lake is a 503-acre lake with a depth of 25 feet. The lake's water is moderately clear. Visitors have access to both lakes from a public boat landing with a boat slip near the cabin. PLEASE NOTE: the cabin is not directly on the lake. It is a 5 minute walk to the lake and corresponding boat slip. There is no swimming access. The boat landing is accessed on Ballard Lake. Guests bringing a boat will launch there and then navigate from Ballard, through the channel, and over to White Birch Lake. (Please let us know if you will be bringing a boat on your trip. We have limited boat slip space and need to confirm those details with you before arrival.)

TRAILS: ATV/UTV riders can cover a variety of terrain in the area, from paved roads to dirt routes. Enjoy hiking in the nearby Nicolet National Forest or biking on the WinMan Trails. Check out the "Map It Vilas County Trails App" to navigate all the trail systems for any sport - snowmobiling, ATVing, cross-country skiing, biking, and hiking.

AREA: The cabin is located 10 min to Boulder Junction, 15 min to Sayner, and 30 min to St. Germain, Minocqua, Manitowish Waters, and Eagle River. The cabin is amongst the White Birch Village Resort, but it does NOT have access to the resort amenities.

The lake's water is moderately clear. Visitors have access to both lakes from a public boat landing with a boat slip near the cabin. PLEASE NOTE: the cabin is not directly on the lake. It is a 5 minute walk to the lake and corresponding boat slip. There is no swimming access. The boat landing is accessed on Ballard Lake. Guests bringing a boat will launch there and then navigate from Ballard, through the channel, and over to White Birch Lake. (Please let us know if you will be bringing a boat on your trip. We have limited boat slip space and need to confirm those details with you before arrival.)

TRAILS: ATV/UTV riders can cover a variety of terrain in the area, from paved roads to dirt routes. Enjoy hiking in the nearby Nicolet National Forest or biking on the WinMan Trails. Check out the "Map It Vilas County Trails App" to navigate all the trail systems for any sport - snowmobiling, ATVing, cross-country skiing, biking, and hiking.

AREA: The cabin is located 10 min to Boulder Junction, 15 min to Sayner, and 30 min to St. Germain, Minocqua, Manitowish Waters, and Eagle River. The cabin is amongst the White Birch Village Resort, but it does NOT have access to the resort amenities.

Nestled among towering pines, Rustic Fawn Cabin is an inviting 3-bedroom, 1 bathroom family cabin that offers a serene escape in a private wooded setting. The interior features a cozy living area with a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for gathering on chilly evenings. A spacious deck extends from the cabin, providing an ideal spot for enjoying the natural surroundings and fresh air. Dogs are OK with a pet fee.

KITCHEN / DINING: The kitchen has a fridge, gas range, dishwasher, microwave, regular drip coffee maker with keurig, crockpot, blender, hand mixer and ice maker. Everything you need for memorable family meals! Eat at the dining table, kitchen bar, or outside dining table and chairs.

HIGHLIGHTS: Deck with seating and grill, fireplace, AC, lots of ceiling fans, walk to White Birch Lake access with boat slip available for guest use, Wifi and streaming Smart TV.

PETS: This cabin is dog-friendly! We allow a max of 2 dogs. The pet fee for one (1) dog is $40/night or $250/week. The pet fee for two (2) dogs is $75/night or $450/week. Just select the pet option and leave a note when making your reservation if you will bring 1 or 2 dogs so we can adjust the pet fee, if needed. Dogs must be leashed at all times. Please utilize a crate if leaving your dog unattended. You will be responsible for all pet clean-up or damage.

LAKE: The cabin is nestled in the Northern Highland State Forest with access to both White Birch Lake and Ballard Lake. This chain of lakes offers a gorgeous lake setting for nature lovers and sport fishermen alike. White Birch Lake is a 113-acre lake with a depth of 27 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, and Walleye. The lake's water clarity is very clear. Ballard Lake is a 503-acre lake with a depth of 25 feet. This tree-lined home is a wonderful base if you're looking for summer or winter adventure. You'll be one mile from a network of connected snowmobile trails and right at the gateway to Razorback Lake, Frank Lake, Aurora Lake, Plum Lake, and Star Lake. To make your excursions all the easier, there's a heated garage with a Nema 220V electric car charger for your use.

Cap a day of summer fun on the lakes by relaxing with a view of the woods on the expansive deck. Light the gas grill for an afternoon barbecue, dine alfresco with the sounds of the forest in the background, and stargaze around the firepit in the evening.

The great room is upstairs on the second floor, with a mud room/laundry room smartly positioned by the door to catch your outdoor gear on the way in. The space
A loft STUDIO in Wisconsin's Northwoods 8 mi from Boulder Junction, WI. Nope, NOT ON A LAKE, but you'll find several LAKES & TRAILS just minutes down Rustic Rd 60. Vintage earthy "refurbishedness" in a new building, a convenient kitchenette, and privacy make the Loft a cozy, tranquil retreat away from the world. Perfect getaway for a couple, a rejuvenating retreat for solos.

DECK:
Spacious, UPPER LEVEL, private, covered, SCREENED-IN 24ftx8ft with double swing, 2 swivel wrought iron chairs, table/gas flame fire pit--BBQ in almost any weather. GAS GRILL as pictured. We supply a 20# tank and another extra 20# tank. Viewing from the balcony doesn't stop after dark; turn on an amber floodlight that shines out into the woods. Or maybe you'll be so fortunate as to be here on a clear night with a full moon and see the forest awash in moonlight. Magical.

CELL PHONE COVERAGE: Varies with service. Check with your provider before coming. *This includes GPS, so you might want to screenshot directions whenever you can before hitting the road.

WILDLIFE:
If you're quiet, you might hear the wolves howl or an owl hoot overhead. In late Apr/early May you’ll hear a chorus of frogs chirping. It's very likely you'll see an eagle soar above. One winter, just 10 ft from the balcony, we saw a fox trot by carrying a snowshoe hare. Mouth full, he stopped to gaze directly at us.

Limit 2. 1 free. Additional dog $40; please disclose before you come, so we can send better situate for them & send you alteration request inc fee, or leave $40 cash on counter. If your dog is a perpetual barker, please consider other places.
Built-in kennel space for your pooch; don’t need to bring one.

Keep them on leash and close by. Remember that you are on the edge of a wilderness area... If you leave them at loft, please keep them in kennel area designed for them. DO NOT LEAVE THEM ALONE ON DECK as dogs in unfamiliar areas tend to bark at anything that moves. As deck is adjacent to a large & deep ravine, any barking or loud noises echo loudly. DO NOT LEAVE THEN ON DECK ALONE.

**IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ**
Lands End at the Edge Loft is intended for those seeking a QUIET retreat. While it's all wilderness for miles in back, there are 3 other summer cottages down the road in front, approximately 1000 ft away. Be aware that loud noise/voices carry in the silence... We wish for you to experience tranquility, and also for our guests to respect others' wish for it also.

If you're looking to play loud music and party into the night at a firepit, DON'T book with us. There are other places better suited for that. Of course, we want you to have a beer and a lotta good laughs as you BBQ, we just ask that you keep loud noise to a very low minimum and honor quiet time between 8p and 10a.

ADDITIONAL APPLIANCE INFO to help you with your cooking intentions:

Oster large digital countertop convection oven - can fit a pan with 2 in height, 10.5 in width, 12.5 in length. Cooks like oven but with faster more even cooking. Digital controls, 7 cooking settings & interior light. Can fit small casseroles, even a small roast.

Rice cooker Steamer & Multi-Cooker: 3-Cup (Uncooked) 6 Cups Cooked. Any kind of rice & other foods inc oatmeal, soups & vegetables.1 step auto cook; auto shutoff when cooking complete.

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT WIFI: Some buffering delays when streaming.

*Our current plan is limited at this point, which means only one device at a time can use WIFI; two others at that same time can use own mobile data.

*Streaming: Netflix & Hulu work well. Amazon Prime OK sometimes... You will experience initial buffering delays, and then all is well...usually. If it's stormy or very windy or overcast or very snowy, it can affect service. If you plan to watch movies, you might download several onto your device before coming.DVD player & large selection of DVDS.

CELL PHONE COVERAGE: It varies with service. Check with your provider before coming. Screenshot directions whenever you can before hitting the road, as you may not always be able to get gps on the road.

PET OWNERS: 2nd dog +$40. Notify us of 2nd dog and we will send you alteration request inc fee. Or leave $40 cash on counter. If you think you might take the pooch hiking on more rustic trails where you're brushing against grass and foliage, give the tick protection treatment ahead of time Walmart & pet stores). Actually, even if you are not doing the rustic trails, best to give your dogs "the treatment" before you come, as it minimizes your chances of encountering ticks too. If you forget, Walmart in Minocqua 40 min away, carries the topical application.

And because you are near a wilderness area, FOR YOUR DOG'S SAFETY, KEEP HIM/HER ON A LEASH AND CLOSE BY.

Some restaurants don't accept credit cards. ATMs in Boulder Junction at Lakewood Gas&Grocery and at bank across street.

Stocking up on the way? You'll find Save-More in Minocqua on 51 on the right. (Last chance for reasonably priced frozen pizzas.) Walmart is on 70, off of 51, also in Minocqua.

FIRE TABLE
1. Reach inside where you see steel propane tank; turn knob on.
2. Light match (you will find in upper right drawer in kitchen) and lay on grate in lava stones.
3. Turn black knob on right to ON position. Then push same knob in and hold for 3 seconds.
4. Flame should come up. Release black knob and adjust flame. Use black knob to make flames higher or lower.
If it doesn't ignite, repeat beginning with push in black knob.
If it doesn't go on, propane tank may be empty. You can change it if you are comfortable. If not, text us, and Randy will change it when convenient for you.
To turn off: Reach in and turn propane knob to right to close.

To change out tank:
Be sure that knob on top of propane tank is closed/turned off to the right as far as possible.
Then, to disconnect valve, there is a black horizontal knob on valve. Turn it left until it disconnects from tank and tank comes free. You can take it out then. Put new tank in and do opposite of above.

Located on 1.5 acres surrounded by a mixture of hardwood and evergreen forest, adjacent to the Woodlands Resort on Plum Lake.

In the winter, you have direct access to the nearly 80 miles of groomed snowmobile trails maintained by the Sayner Barnstormers snowmobile club, via Woodlands Resort and accessing the trail system on Plum Lake.

Plum Lake is 1000 acre, full recreational lake in Vilas County. Our tiny house is not on water but has 22' of sandy beach, lake access a short walk away.

The space
The Bear Cub Cabin is equipped w/a full kitchen, bathroom w/shower & washer and dryer unit. Sleeps 6 comfortably with a queen bed, 2 bunk beds + loft area. Living area furnished with a futon, TV/DVD & a screened-in porch with chairs and table.

Kitchen has fridge/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, dishes/pots and pans, silverware and drip coffee maker. Windows have curtains.

Regarding bedding and bath amenities, we do not provide bedding or shampoo, conditioner, body wash or a hair dryer and recommend guests bring these items with them.

Guest access
We provide self-check-in with keycode access to the tiny home. There is WiFi available, if needed but we encourage you to unplug and enjoy the northwoods as much as possible.

Upon departure, please lock the front door with 4-digit keycode and pressing the green checkmark when illuminated to arm the door.

Upper level studio & lower level bedroom suite ea have private entrance door, private bathroom, private kitchenette area with FULL FRIDGE. Levels also adjoined via an inside lockable stairwell door.

Private bathroom is compact with toilet, small shower (48"x48"-smaller than standard but larger than camper) and small changing area. Wash basin faucet outside door in hallway vestibule. No tub.

If you haven’t transported kayaks before, we’ll help situate you. If you have a 2" square hitch, you are welcome to use our small trailer to haul kayaks. Seriously, it's only minutes to lakes right down Cty Rd K (rustic rd 60). Less than 5min to Lost Canoe, White Sand Lakes. 10min to Ballard, Star, North & South Trout, Allequash Lakes. (Swimming beaches at White Sand and North Trout)

**IMPORTANT**
Lands End at the Edge Loft is intended for those seeking a QUIET retreat. While it's all wilderness for miles in back, there are 3 other summer cottages off of Lands End, nearest approximately 1000 ft away. We wish for you to experience tranquility, and also for our guests to respect others' wish for it also.

If you're looking to play loud music & party, don't book with us. There are other places better suited for that. Of course, we want you to have a beer & a lotta good laughs as you BBQ, we just ask that you keep loud noise to a minimum & honor QUIET time 8p-10a.

ADDITIONAL APPLIANCE INFO to help with your cooking intentions:
Oster large digital countertop convection oven - can fit a pan with 2 in height, 10.5 in width, 12.5 in length. Cooks like an oven but with faster more even cooking. Can fit 2 12" pizzas, small casserole, even a small roast.

WILDLIFE:
If you're quiet, you might hear the wolves howl, In late Apr/early Maybe you’ll hear a chorus of frogs chirping. It's very likely you will see an eagle soar above. Less often, but they are around: bear, fox

Viewing doesn't stop after dark; turn on a floodlight that shines 15 ft out into the woods. Maybe you'll be so fortunate as to be here on a starry night with a full moon, see the forest awash in moonlight, and hear the wolves howl--magical.

Bedroom & studio/bedroom are "semi-separate" units with private entrances and lockable stairwell door that connects both levels.

13 steps up to Loft.
Lower level Blu bdrm: 8" outside step up from outside. Or enter/exit from level main entrance to Loft (no steps). 4" stepover into shower.
Lower level shower is larger than a camper shower but smaller than standard: 36"x36 inside.

Please remember when leaving guesthouse that, if you encounter a vehicle coming up Lands End Rd, it is your responsibility to back up to cul de sac open area to let vehicle through. PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE OFF SIDE OF ROAD. Thank you so much for your attention to this potential issue.

HELP US PREVENT FOREST FIRES. There is limited fire department assistance in the area. Please be mindful of open flames, as you are on the edge of an expansive wilderness area with lots of dry brush. NO SMOKING. No open flames other than candles on deck.

It's secluded & quiet. Be aware that loud noises carry. We hope for our guests to experience tranquility and also for our guests to honor our neighbors' wish for it. We're serious on our expectations at 8p-10a QUIET TIME (quiet voices when outside, on the deck, by sauna area).
HIGHLY ADVISED LATE NOV THRU APRIL: AWD OR 4WD. While we plow Lands End and K is usually plowed..., you just never know. You'll be fine with AWD or 4WD.

Bring bug spray (though you won't need much of it on deck/balcony); it's about 97% skeeter free.

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT WIFI: Some buffering delays when streaming.

PET OWNERS TAKE NOTE: If you think you might take the pooch hiking on more rustic trails where you're brushing against grass and foilage, it is wise to give your dog a tick protection treatment ahead of time (can find at Walmart and pet stores). Actually, even if you are not doing the rustic trails, it is best to give your dogs "the treatment" before you come, as it minimizes your chances of encountering ticks too. If you forget, Walmart in Minocqua 40 min away, carries the topical application.

You will find Four Seasons at Plum Lake in Sayner, Wisconsin a wonderful spot for any season. Four Seasons is a quiet retreat with sleeping for up to 8 people. Please note that in the winter we beleive our home is best for groups of 4 or less. Groups of more than 4 for a Winter stay should be aware that our home's lower level (a spacious bedroom with a queen and two twin beds) has a seaprate entrance from the main level of the home. This home provides beauthy and comfort in all seasons!

Our cabin is just a couple of minutes away from Camp Highlands for Boys and also close to Razorback Ridges cross country skiing. Also easy access to snowmobile trails, going in all directions. Kids can sled down the driveway as well!
