Upon arriving, we were pleased to see how clean the "neighborhood" was, and how close the cabin was to the water! The check in process was extremely easy, and the host responded quickly to any questions we had! The interior of the cabin was perfect for 2 people. The living room had a nice reclining couch to enjoy drinks at night and look at the beautiful lake. The bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen were all super comfortable and sweetly decorated to give it a cabiny feel! The neighbors were very kind and gave us lots of ideas to enjoy our week up there even more. The roads surrounding the cabin were quiet and perfect for biking and walking, and the lake was great for fishing too! Overall a great stay! One thing we would recommend is to bring some bag chairs and a fire ring if you want to sit outside as there wasnt a fire pit :)"

- "Wonderful Northwoods cottage located on a beautiful private lake. This property has had all the right updates without it losing its Northwoods charm. The house comes with all the kitchen accessories needed to make great meals…but is still located close enough to many Supper Clubs for the perfect night out. Plan your next boating or fishing getaway at this beautiful, riverfront cabin in Lac du Flambeau. Set on a quiet river that serves very few homes, this peaceful retreat features a gorgeous, open interior with knotty pine walls and ceilings, rustic, handcrafted furnishings, and plenty of desirable amenities to ensure the utmost comfort for you and your guests. Whip up everyone's favorite recipes in the well-equipped, full kitchen complete with a breakfast bar for casual dining. Gather around the table for six for mealtimes or family game nights, or indulge in an al fresco experience with a view from the screened, three-season porch. Close out your evenings by warming up in the glow of your wood stove while you relax.

Outdoors, borrow one of the provided kayaks and head out on the water from the 125-foot dock, return home and fire up the gas grill for summertime cookouts, and then meet up at the firepit to roast s'mores and watch the stars come out.

Decorated with African artifacts, it's close to the lake and perfect for your Northwoods Safari. It's far more than a cabin--it's an experience! Price of cabin rental includes all facilities and amenities at Sandy Point. Autumn color, fantastic sandy beach, fishing on a class A muskie lake, and unlimited use of a 27-hole, championship disc golf course await you!

This is a housekeeping cabin. You have the option to use our bed linens or bring your own. At least one blanket per bed is provided.

Karibu is a classic Northwoods Cabin made with cedar logs and cedar interior paneling with full beam accents. Updated to include all the modern amenities including a bathroom with shower, microwave, full-size refrigerator, stove/oven. Bedroom 1 has a full size bed and bedroom 2 has a full-size bed and set of bunks. A rustic screen-porch allows you to look at the lake.

Guest access
Guests will self-check-in. Key and registration form will be waiting. You will have the entire cabin to yourself, and access to all facilities at Sandy Point. You will have a dedicated, uncovered parking space and a key to your cabin. You will not be disturbed by the management nor will potential future guests be allowed to tour your cabin while you are occupying it. The facilities on property include a recreation house with pool table, ping-pong, pinball, darts, air hockey, an elliptical machine, piano and big screen TV. You will also have unlimited use of a 27-hole championship disc golf course. Golf discs will be provided at no charge if you do not have your own. The lakefront has two large, 90-foot T-docks. There is no charge to moor your boat and Squaw Lake has a FREE public boat access. Use of playground, kayaks, canoe, paddleboards, peddleboats and a rowboat is also included.

Other things to note
We provide all bed-linens, sheets/blankets/pillows and all cooking/eating utensils. Weber grill and outdoor fire pit. Guests provide charcoal and firewood is for sale on property. This is a housekeeping unit. It is clean/sterile upon your arrival and we ask guests to leave the cabin as they found it upon departure. Contact us in advance regarding our pet policy, allowed in "off season" only.

Dogs are considered during off season(s) only and guests must read and agree to our pet policy and reserve space for their dog in advance. The fee is $20/night or $60 per week and there is a refundable $100 cleaning/damage deposit.

Enjoy the views of Plummer Lake from this lakeside home. Plummer Lake is a quiet , peaceful 211 acre 60 feet deep clear water lake. The lake does not have any public access or boat landings, making it a peaceful and quiet setting in the Northwoods. Guests will be near Minocqua shops, tourist attractions, Lake of the Torches Casino, golf courses and bike trails.

Step inside where guests will find a cozy living room furnished with a leather sofa and flatscreen TV. When the group gets hungry, venture into the kitchen and take advantage of the ample space to cook delicious meals together. Dine together at the table fit for six. Eat snacks at the bar, where four can sit. The screened porch at the rear of the home allows guests to enjoy the outdoors while staying bug free and dry. At the front of the home, enjoy your view of the lake from the large deck. Venture into the front yard and start a fire in the lakeside fire pit for the group to gather around. Fence lake is part of a 6+ lake chain for cruising and it's close enough to Minocqua, Manitowish Waters or the Lake of the Torches Casino for dining and other entertainment option. Silent sports!

You'll have access to an extensive network of ATV and snowmobile trails in the area, as well as excellent open-water fishing in the summer, ice fishing in the winter, and several walking, hiking, and biking trails nearby. A quiet and peaceful escape awaits at this lakefront Northwoods hideaway tucked away on three forested acres. Greet the morning sipping coffee and watching the mist rise over Minette Lake from the wraparound deck. Listen to the songbirds, catch bald eagles soaring overhead, and watch beavers building their home across the bay. Spend fun-filled days exploring the Northwoods: fishing, hiking, biking, paddling, skiing, or snowmobiling. Enjoy evenings gathered around the firepit roasting s'mores and listening to the haunting beauty of the loons or inside beside the wood-burning fireplace. Cap your night with a candlelit bubble bath in the jetted Jacuzzi tub.

Offering unparalleled rustic charm paired with modern amenities, Lakeview North features an open living area with floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing breathtaking views of the lake. Kick back on the sofas and armchair next to the flickering fire while streaming your favorite TV shows. The well-equipped kitchen has all the appliances, utensils, and cookware you will need, including a dishwasher to make meal cleanup a breeze. Minette Lake is a deep, clear lake with a handful of cabins and mostly unspoiled shoreline. (There is no public boat launch for motorized boats, ensuring peace and privacy. There are plenty of lakes with public launches around.) This lakefront and serene location is ideal for those in need of a secluded escape filled with nature and wildlife - though you'll also be roughly four miles from Lake of the Torches Casino and LDF Country Market. You'll be situated on Lac du Flambeau Reservation between Chequamegon National Forest and Northern American-Highland Legion State Forest. Discovery several nearby local breweries, distilleries, supper clubs, and golf clubs, as well as ski resorts within an hour from your vacation home.

Guests will have access to the entire property including the lakefront & dock, but you may not launch your boat from the dock.

A door access code to enter the property will be sent prior to check in.

There is room in the driveway to park your boat or sled trailers.

There is a propane grill available for your use - propane is provided. We also provide firewood for you to use at the fire pit.

Guest CAN NOT launch boats directly on the dock in the backyard.

There are two adult sized life jackets available to use.

The kitchen sink faucet is motion sensor-ed so once you turn it on by pulling the handle up, you will be able to turn the water on and off by swiping your hand past the faucet.

If found smoking, vaping, or burning of any kind inside the unit the tenant will be charged $250. All smoking, vaping, and burning must be done outside at least 30 feet from the building.

Northwoods lakeside log cabin, completely furnished with all linens and kitchen needs for your vacation stay. Cozy rustic pine interior with throwback feel of vintage warm and friendly up north getaway. This is part of Thunderbird Point Resort, owned and operated by The Sullivan Family since 1977.

Centrally located in the beautiful Northwoods, Thunderbird Point is a short drive to Lake of The Torches Casino, Minocqua, Boulder Junction, Manitowish Waters and all the area has to offer. We are right in the middle of some of the world's best Musky and Walleye fishing, cycling, trails, streams and rivers for river tubing, canoeing, kayaking and much, much more.

Guests have lakefront and beach access on Lake Bobidosh with southern exposure. Rental includes a dock, row boat, canoe, kayaks, swim raft, sandy beach, hammock, DirecTV, wifi, fishing, grill and fire pit for camp fires. We also offer a pontoon boat and small outboard engines for rent upon advance reservations.

Other things to note
The Ojibwe Chippewa Native American Indian Reservation has traditional celebrations, museums and a casino nearby. The Greater Minocqua area has shopping and ski shows and many other activities, pubs, restaurants, golf, tennis, antiquing and attractions just a short ride away! Located 17 mi W of Minocqua, Amber Lake is a 736-acre Class A Muskie Lake w/walleye & panfish. 17 mi to Lake of the Torches Casino and Winter Park Recreation area. The snowmobile trail goes across the lake. There is a public boat landing a mile away. The screen porch is 75' from the lake where you can enjoy a level sandy beach and campfire pit. Rentals come with a boat slip and electricity located directly in front of the cabin. We hope our serene setting helps you unwind, relax & reconnect.

The space
We purchased and refurbished the Pines Cabin located at the Whispering Woods Cottages: a smaller resort property containing 5 single-family, year-round cabins. There are 2 other rental cabins on site. So if you have a larger group, there may be availability to rent three cabins (each sleeping 6).

We offer Wi-Fi, Broadcast and Hulu TV, and Netflix. You will have your own lakeside picnic table and outdoor charcoal and gas grills. All mattresses, box springs, blankets, quilts and kitchen appliances were purchased new in 2022. A shower remodel was completed in 2023.

Other things to note
Sorry that we do not allow pets. There is also no smoking on the property. Due to Covid and having no laundry facilities on site, guests must bring their own bedsheets, pillowcases, bath towels and wash cloths, dish towels and dish rags. There are plenty of blankets, quilts and throws so no need to bring those items.

Relaxation in the gorgeous North Woods awaits! Amber Lake is a 736-acre, Class-A Muskie Lake also known for walleye and panfish. The snowmobile trail goes across the lake. Located about 15 mi W of Downtown Minocqua, and minutes from casino - there is plenty to do for everyone! A level, sandy beach offers swimming, fishing, or snowmobiling steps away!

The space
Our cabin is original to the property, and we are told was built with logs from trees on site about 100 years ago. Our cabin was previously part of a resort called Whispering Woods. There are now 5 single family cabins with shared beach and firepit. Another cabin on site is a short term rental as well, so if you have a larger group, there may be availability to rent both. Message for more info.

Optional add on of our Bitty Barge pontoon with 25 hp motor and fish finder if available.

If you plan to bring your own boat, the public boat landing is 1 mile away, rentals come with 1 pier spot (early May-late October - please confirm that the pier is in during early Spring/Late Fall)

The beach is sandy and level and remains shallow for quite a ways out. It is fantastic for children, but please note there is no lifeguard on duty so swim at your own risk. No diving off the pier.

In winter, you only have to walk out to set up for ice fishing or jump right onto the snowmobile trails. Cozy up by the fireplace to warm up after enjoying winter in the Northwoods!

The unit uses a mini split unit to offer thermostat-controlled heat and air conditioning. Please note, the units are in the living room and kitchen, so there is not temperature control in the bedrooms, and they can get chilly in winter.

Inside, you will find a cozy living room, 3 bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen, and a screened in porch with a fantastic view. WiFi is available throughout the cabin - bring your Roku or Firestick to be able to stream any services you subscribe to!

There is a gravel parking area right in front of our kitchen door with extra parking next to the garage for trailers.

If the weather isn’t great or you need a break from the sun, there is lots to do within a short drive. We are about 20 minutes from downtown Minocqua and also in close proximity to Lake of the Torches Casino, the Minocqua Winter Park Recreation Area, Wildwood Wildlife Park, North Woods Zipline, Northern Wisconsin Waterfalls, bike trails, and other great towns with lots to do like Woodruff, St. Germaine, Arbor Vitae, and Hazelhurst.

Other things to note
A starter set of linens and toilet paper will be provided, but extra sets will not.

Other things you might want to bring are firewood, charcoal, and flashlights. We are located in the woods and steps away from the water, so bug spray and sunscreen are a must in summer!

In winter, bring extra throw blankets to snuggle up with and some hot chocolate

We have wifi available so you can cozy up with a movie on a chilly night or a rainy day.

There are 3 kayaks and a floating mat that you are welcome to use (early May-late October). Please note that the mat is not meant to be towed behind a boat and should be anchored to something (the pier, a tree) so it doesn’t float away.
