Believe me, if he could have fit all of us we would have gone there! We checked out Sat., today is Tuesday and have yet to hear from the owner. If this is how vrbo does business, I will go elsewhere. The floors in the main living room and bedroom had some dust bunnies in corners, under the bed and a layer of dust along the sides of the floors. The shower was not clean (took pictures of the hair in it). The toilet paper holder was cheap and dangled. In fact, everything was as low end as it could get from blinds that were broken/missing/dingy old yellow and full of dust, to eight pieces of silverware to an old couch with no stuffing left in it. Two of the total of three coffee cups had chips in them. Two coffee cups were dirty right out of the cupboard. The couch cushions had large brown stains on them which is probably why the only throw blanket was covering them upon arrival. There were three towels for the whole place. One bath and two hand towels. No washcloth. No kitchen towel but we did use a bathroom hand towel. The kitchen was extremely low stocked. No meal could be prepped, just microwaved. No ice maker or ice cube tray. The place is run down and unkept. The property manager emailed the week before our stay saying the apartment we rented was having some unexpected maintenance work done and they were putting me in another apt. It read, "Rest assured, this unit offers the same amenities and comfort as your original choice.” No way! It was NOT what was pictured. This apartment needs renovation. - "I honestly was glad for my stay at this VRBO. I attended a conference nearby and it was great for getting to things nearby.Building: Parking is okay. There's limited parking in the small lot and could be a squeeze if you have a large car. There is street parking that's easy to access. Key fob needs to be held up against the electronic lock. This honestly took me a few tries to do since it's not intuitive. There are two doors, the outside door leading to the lobby and the internal door leading to the elevators. There is a trash chute at the end of the hall. Laundry machines and gym are available on the 3rd floor. The laundry machines can use the associated app and you can use tap to pay (I used Samsung Pay).Kitchen: Had some of the basics (pots and pans, dishes, Brita pitcher [], salt). There's the usual microwave, stove, and fridge. But I love that there is a dishwasher! As someone with ADHD, it helped to do some dishwashing overnight. The counters feel great and the whole kitchen was super clean. The breaker box is in the kitchen near the fridge. The space
We are also within walking distance of Kroger, Walgreens and CVS if you need to grab some last minute items. If you have an event in the downtown area we are just 10 minutes away.

The home has two separate street level entrances which arelocated on the side and rear of the building, allowing for easy access in and out of the property.

Our home offers two floors of living space. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, ensuring ample space for families or groups of friends traveling together. The layout includes two comfortable living rooms, one on each floor, providing plenty of room for relaxation and socializing.

On the second level, you'll find the three bedrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen. Whether you're preparing a delicious meal or enjoying a quick snack, you'll find everything you need in the well-equipped kitchen. Additionally, you'll enjoy the screened-in patio, ideal for enjoying your morning coffee or relaxing in the evening breeze.

The private fenced in backyard offers ample space providing outdoor seating and a play area, perfect for families with children.

We have off-street parking available which will give a peace of mind for guests traveling with vehicles.

The space
At the “Highland University House” guests have the entire house to themselves. The layout is open with easy viewing between the kitchen, dining room, and living area. Rooms are big and open with tall ceilings and good lighting. Electric outlets are numerous and well-placed. Laundry is conveniently located on the second floor next to the bedrooms. The bedrooms are spacious and you have ample room for clothing and luggage. The living room and both bedrooms have their own TVs with cable and Amazon fire stick. Everything is new, modern, and clean. There is a full bathroom on each floor. Both bedrooms are upstairs.
