This is the perfect place if you're trying to get away from it all and relax for a few days or a few weeks.
You are responsible for cleaning the cabin before you leave. If you need the cabin professionally cleaned before you arrive, I may be able to find someone to do so, given 48 hours notice, your check in time will be after 7 pm - depending on the cleaning, cleaning cost varies between $80-$100 which has to be paid to me electronically at the time the service is requested. Even with professional cleaning, Use of common sense is required to rent our cabin.
Cabin has two bedrooms (one queen, two twins), one bath. Suitable for 4 adults and children. Less than 100 yards from beautiful 13 mile long Lake Wallenpaupack. Come fish and swim in warm summer and fall lake.
Cozy Cabin is the second lot back from the lake and is very comfortable and welcoming. We have a single bath, living room, full kitchen with all the accoutrements, including a crock pot and microwave, sweet sunroom and deck. You can see the water from the deck, in between the trees.

This cottage is located in a private friendly community on Lake Wallenpaupack with lake access, floating docks to fish and swim off, and boat launching. (no boat slip available) Wood floors, knotty pine walls, log furniture, stone fireplace and rustic decor offers the perfect getaway with a true feeling of being in the country. The bedrooms have queens, and the loft is quite large with one log queen bed and a log futon for additional lounging or sleeping. There is a ductless air conditioning system that serves the whole cottage along with two ceiling fans and fans in each bedroom.
There is a front and rear deck. The front deck is set up with a stainless BBQ, stainless counter top deli table, picnic table and bench. The rear deck has seating and perfect for watching the deer pass by in the afternoon. There is a shed conveniently located by the front deck with garbage cans for you to toss your kitchen garbage, I will take it from there; you are on vacation!!

There are many benefits to being located on this side of the lake that I would like to share. The “507 Country Store” is right outside the community offering all the conveniences of a traditional deli, homemade bread, gourmet food, incidentals, coffee, seating and gas station. Also in the immediate vicinity is the “Rubber Duckie” and "The Boat Shop" for boat and PWC rentals; visit their websites. As you continue towards town you will find all the great lakeside restaurants like “The Dock”, “The Boathouse”, “Gresham’s Steakhouse”, “Lake Wallenpaupack Brewery”, . Also check out the newly built "Ringside Bar and Grill" just a quarter mile from the community. Of course once in town you’ll find your basic stores like CVS, Dunkin Donuts, IGA supermarket, Sports Shop, Beer store, Ice cream parlor, Pizza, etc. There are parts of the lake that are 5 or more miles to the nearest town so it is something to consider as you do your searches. Lastly and most importantly are the sunset views from this side of the lake, you may choose to enjoy these from the community beach area as you fish or sit by the beach fire pit, or take a short drive to the dam where there is free parking and take a stroll along the high path on the dam as the sun sets!

There is a visitor’s center just past the dam that will provide information and brochures about things to see and do. Please visit their Pocono Mountain web site and begin exploring!

Relax on the waterfront deck where you can swim and dock your boat (bring your own boat or daily / weekly rentals also available from marina next door)! The main deck is a large and accommodating place to gather with outdoor dining, grill, and seating for 12. And the main house provides an open floor plan including the dining / kitchen / living room combo which spans the main floor and overlooks the lake with a wall of lakeside windows. Large granite and stainless-steel kitchen, with island, allows the whole family to gather together in the main house while second floor bedrooms and the cottage provides ample space and privacy for all. Sunsets (across the lake) are a nightly sight to see.

The rental includes the entire property: Main house is 4 bedroom, 2 full bath house (sleeps 8) and the cottage (sleeps 4). The main house offers an open floor plan with a full bathroom on main level (easy to rinse off after the lake) and bedrooms / full bathroom on the second level; washer / dryer included and central air throughout. Modern kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishes / silverware, appliances (microwave, 2 coffee machines, toaster, crockpot). An additional lower-level family room in basement offers a small play area and access to the lake! The cottage provides extra space and extra functionality and includes a small kitchen, living room, sleeping loft, private bedroom (with window unit A/C), full bath, small washer/dryer & stone patio. High speed internet/Wi-Fi for both houses and TVs (with Roku) and plenty of games, puzzles, cards for indoor entrainment and friendly family challenges. (Please note there are stairs required at this property from the driveway to the cottage and main house and to the lake).

There are so many things to do in the area - from water sports to hiking to anything in between. Located on the 507 side of the lake – with nearby grocery stores, restaurants, pizza places, marinas and activities for kids including Costa’s, Fairview mini-golf, and 24 flavors of soft serve ice cream at the Dairy Twist. This house is a great set up for multi-generation families (noting the stairs may not be suitable for all ages) and is available for family groups only please!! It is a family home so no parties, no smoking, no pets. There are security cameras onsite for the exterior protection of the property / lakefront.

- "Our family enjoyed our week at the lake! It was a perfect house for a large group, four kids aged 4-7, four parents and two grandparents. The house was very clean and well equipped, we loved the views of the lake from multiple decks and privacy. It was a short drive to grocery stores and many fun family friendly activities, including a boat tour of the lake, theme park, nature center, short hikes and a fun day trip to the Steamtown national historic site in Scranton. We're glad we brought our life jackets for the kids as the lake is 20 feet deep off the dock. There is a beach that's close by with very shallow water (deepest area is maybe 3 ft deep), but it was murky so the kids just played in the sand. You cannot use the fireplaces pictured for insurance reasons so don't buy s'more stuff. There was a gas fire that you can use for ambiance. There are no boats that come with this property and couldn't find a place to rent canoes on this lake, but if you have someone in your family born prior to 1982 with boating experience you can rent a pontoon boat by the hour which we did and the family enjoyed. Internet worked well in both the main house and the cottage. Bring binoculars as we had fun spotting the bald eagle and numerous deer, chipmunks and foxes!"

-Fishing: Catch and release only.

-Trash Removal: Please be advised that upon checkout all waste products from the kitchen, bathrooms and outdoor areas etc. should be cleaned up into trash bags and placed in garbage can outside. The property restored to that upon check-in

-Only human waste and toilet paper may be flushed down the toilet. Feminine hygiene products, wipes, baby wipes or any other materials are prohibited.

-Pets: We welcome pets in our house but ask that they be no bigger than 40lbs. and be kept on the first floor and off the beds. There is a large fenced area and gated deck. Please clean up after your pet. Do not dispose onto the property. Poop bags provided.

-During the winter months we will get snow and will have someone contracted to clean the driveway but please note depending on various circumstances it may not be removed right away. Please keep this in mind when planning your winter trip. Pool closed during winter months.

-No smoking of any kind inside the house. Please do not throw cigarette/cigar butts on the property.

-Please be aware there is a pond, pool and hot tub on this property. Pool is the only one that is fenced. Please keep an eye on children and use safety precautions while using each body of water. Life jackets available.

-Accidents happen, if something breaks, please let us know so that we can quickly replace it for our next guests.

-Quiet hours 10pm-7am

-No events/parties/fireworks

-Provided Starter Supplies: For your convenience, you will find a starter supply of coffee k-cups, tea, paper towels, dish soap and dish detergent, few garbage bags. You must purchase any required additional supplies.

The heart of our home is the spacious kitchen, featuring beautiful mahogany French doors that lead to a scenic porch overlooking the lake – a perfect setting for your cooking enjoyment. There's a small table for casual meals, along with a central island and a formal dining area for larger gatherings. The living room, with its elegant mahogany sliding glass windows, seamlessly connects to the porch, blending indoor charm with the stunning lakeside environment.

Step outside to find our lakefront property with a large personal dock, just a few steps from the front door. Trailer parking is available on property.

We have 75$ pet fee as well which is for one pet. If you have more than one pet than you will be charged another 75$ according to how many pets will be coming.

My home has great views, private beach and dock. Your room has luxurious king size bed, private bath and sauna. Couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers are all welcome. You will have access to a pool table, bar, tvs, wifi internet, dock, swim float, patio, fire pit, canoe, and kayaks. Hiking and restaurants are nearby. Your private area is the entire lower level and a large patio with a gazebo, ping pong table and out door bar. You can add a second bedroom and bring up to 4 people for an additional 250/night upon request.
