The Village House is a fully restored farmhouse nestled at the foot of the bluffs in beautiful Winona. The house has been completely remodeled but still has loads of character with exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and gracious furnishings. The outdoor spaces are equally inviting, especially the patio which is surrounded by gardens with a view of our charming neighborhood. Each bedroom has a full private bath so no one has to share. We're conveniently located just minutes from historic downtown Winona, two university campuses, and the Mississippi River.

We are inspected annually by the MN Department of Health and licensed by the City of Winona. We have cameras facing only our parking lot. The cameras are on for security and safety of our guests. The space
The Driftless Retreat is located along Gilmore Valley Road. There is a steep shared driveway and the cottage is first home on the left. The space includes two bedrooms with a king and queen bed. There's also a pull out bed in the sofa in the living room. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a coffee and tea bar along with typical cooking items. The bathroom has a rain shower and hand held shower head. We supply all natural Public Goods shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and hand soap. There is a medicine cabinet and storage closet in the bathroom where you will find towels for each guest. A washer and dryer is available for guest use at no cost. There are two televisions on the property in the living room and master bedroom with access to Netflix. Finally, there's a beautiful wood burning fire place in the living room for small fires on cold evenings.

2 bedrooms. 1 bedroom is a queen bed. the other is a double. Both rooms have storage for your personal items.

Our full bath has a walk-in glass shower. The half bath is shared with the laundry room. We provide a starter kit of essentials for our guests (soaps, shampoo, etc)

The firepit is located on the back balcony, overlooking the Mississippi River and the train track.

The hot tub is located in the back of the property with the Mississippi River as your view.

Guest parking is on the property. Please inquire about boat docking access.

Our rental is ADA compliant (entryways, no stairs needed, ground floor, ramps, arm rails in bathroom, * no ADA structure in the walk-in shower)

Awesome social life within walking distance. Lilly pad/golden frog offers docks to river for your boat during the day. Wingdam bar, old joes, are other taverns. JP cafe has ice cream and great cafe food. Seven Hawks offers wine tasting. ALL WALKING DISTANCE from our place. Very safe and family like atmosphere.

We do offer a hot tub as an amenity. We ask that you please follow our instructions and guide when using the hot tub.

We have a pet fee per pet for up to 2 pets.
You will need transportation as local transit is not always available.

With 3 cozy bedrooms, including 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds, this amazing property offers a comfortable stay for guests. The house features 2 bathrooms, complete with linens, shampoo, soap, and a hair dryer for your convenience. You'll find everything you need here, from a full stocked kitchen to an iron, a washing machine and dryer. Outside on the patio there is a gas fire pit with chairs and a gas grill. And don't worry about the weather, as the house is equipped with heating and AC to keep you comfortable. Hattie's Place is an entire apartment with a private entrance located above the once Jung and River's Mercantile (1850s). Our restored 800 square foot 2nd floor flat is newly refinished to offer the most comfy combination of old and new, and a touch of Rollingstone's Luxemburg history. We can accommodate up to 4 guests with a king bed in the spacious bedroom and a full murphy bed and queen sofa sleeper in the living room (all quality memory foam mattresses).

If you enjoy cooking, the kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and cookware for you. Or, just wake up to a fresh cup of Nespresso, and enjoy breakfast/lunch next door any day of the week at the local 5-star rated cafe—Bonnie Rae's. In the summer, sip and take in the hilltop views from outside mini bar top and bistro table. For a convenient dinner, drive 10 minutes through the hillsides and you will find Eagle View Bar & Grill in Minneiska, or local restaurants in Winona.

A washer and dryer is available in the apartment for you to use. Free parking is available in front of Hattie’s Place and in front of the building. Covered parking is available in the winter. Private parking is available for vehicles, boats, trailers, etc upon request. Please reach out to us if you would like to make arrangements for private parking. We offer keyless check-in. We can provide key access if needed. Apologies, we have no elevator and pets are not allowed. As owners, we live next door. The storefront below now serves local businesses as quiet office space. Rollingstone is a community of 700 with Luxemburg heritage dating back to mid 1800’s. On your way, along both sides of The River, take in the scenic bluff country with water-to-woods views and unique stops along the way. Groceries can be ordered/delivered from Winona HyVee by appointment (See HyVee app, Aisles Online Delivery Services) or basics can be found within 5 minutes at Cenex or Kwik Trip.

It was unfortunate that the cabin was cold when we arrived but Greg did everything in his power to get the cabin heated up and ready for our group. He was gracious enough to offer us two different cabins for the inconvenience. By the time we finished dinner the place was nice and toasty. Maybe a little cold in the bedrooms but definitely manageable. Greg allowed us to keep an additional cabin at no charge so we didn’t have to move our belongings multiple times. Overall we had a good time. I’m sure we will be back."

As you enter the home, the grand entryway will escort you back in time. The look and feel of this elegantly updated home brings you a sense of tranquil serenity. The living room has comfortable seating with natural light…a perfect spot to read, converse, and play games with family while enjoying panoramic Mississippi River views!

Your private suite is located just at the top of the stairs, on the second floor. Your suite features an elegant queen four-poster bed, cozy seating area, full closet, and yet more grand views of the Mississippi River! This room also features a private en-suite bathroom, and also has access to a semi-private balcony overlooking the river. (*Note: The balcony is wrap/around/adjoining with Suite #2 – perfect for a family/friends!)

The curved front porch and patios make for easy evening conversation and even more enjoyment of the views of the Mississippi, bluffs, and surrounding area. Such serenity, you’ll never want to leave!

The kitchen is completely updated with modern appliances and a dining area. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary cooking basics (pots, pans, etc.) as well as table service for six. With all the windows, you’ll love how comfortable you’ll feel. A stackable washer/dryer and super-fast Wi-fi for multiple streaming/video calls is available for your convenience, just in case you need to check in with the office.

You will want to fully immerse yourself in the local culture at the Joseph Fugina House. When staying, you will also have access to the backyard deck and propane grill so you’ll really feel at home! Railroad enthusiasts will love this historic railway town, and guests should note that there may be periodic track noise. Watercraft (small and large) are often seen from the home. Look out the window at fishing boats, jet-ski’s, and even large cargo barges – such a cool sight! Small town charm and a host of coffee shops, galleries and tasty eateries are just a few of the gems you’ll find downtown.

This historic home offers limited street parking on Great River Road. While there is no driveway or "parking-lot", parking is always abundant for our guests. Fountain City has a great “small town” feel, where it’s possible to walk to bars, restaurants, coffee, and our convenience store; although venturing into Winona, Minnesota (6 miles south) or beyond does require a car.

Hill Street House is the a two-story duplex. Airbnb guests have access to the upper unit, and our caretakers live in the lower unit. The upper unit has two guest bedrooms--each with a queen-size bed and spacious closets--a full bathroom, a well-appointed kitchen for preparing meals, a cozy living room, a separate office with workspace, and convenient laundry facilities. In the unlikely event that you tire of the captivating scene out the window, we supply plenty of games, books, puzzles, ROKU television, and WIFI. Situated at the end of downtown Fountain City, Wisconsin on Great River Road, the 1898 Joseph Fugina House is a charming destination completely (and beautifully) restored with modern conveniences.

As you enter the home, the grand entryway will escort you back in time. The look and feel of this elegantly updated home brings you a sense of tranquil serenity. The living room has comfortable seating with natural light…a perfect spot to read, converse, and play games with family while enjoying panoramic Mississippi River views!

Each second-floor bedroom has its own private bathroom, in-room Keurig coffee maker, fast Wi-Fi, and TVs in every bedroom and living room. The front King Suite features a king bed, seating area, bay windows with cozy window seat, yet more grand views of the Mississippi River, and a tranquil blue (private access) bathroom with shower/tub combination is just down the hall. A second King Suite boasts a king bed framed by windows, with an in-room shower, en-suite bathroom, and sitting area. The last suite features an elegant with four-poster queen bed, en-suite bathroom, full sized closet, and a cozy sitting area which also overlooks the river.

The curved front porch and patios make for easy evening conversation and even more enjoyment of the views of the Mississippi, bluffs, and surrounding area. Two suites upstairs also have access to a charming river-facing second story balcony. Such serenity, you’ll never want to leave!

The kitchen is completely updated with modern appliances and a dining area. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary cooking basics (pots, pans, etc.) as well as table service for six. With all the windows, you’ll love how comfortable you’ll feel. A stackable washer/dryer and super-fast Wifi for multiple streaming/video calls is available for your convenience, just in case you need to check in with the office.

You will want to fully immerse yourself in the local culture at the Joseph Fugina House. When staying, you will also have access to the backyard deck and propane grill so you’ll really feel at home! Railroad enthusiasts will love this historic railway town, and guests should note that there may be periodic track noise. Watercraft (small and large) are often seen from the home. Look out the window at fishing boats, jet-ski’s, and even large cargo barges – such a cool sight! This historic home offers limited street parking on Great River Road. While there is no driveway or "parking-lot", parking is always abundant for our guests. Fountain City has a great “small town” feel, where it’s possible to walk to bars, restaurants, coffee, and our convenience store; although venturing into Winona, Minnesota (6 miles south) or beyond does require a car.

Located on the Great River Road, noise from the street and the rattle of passing trains may be heard in the home.
