The courtyard is shared with guests that may be staying in the other bungalow (there are 2 houses on property -- common in east Austin). The pool can be heated during our cooler months between Oct - May.

The great thing about East Austin is it's a neighborhood that's close to everything, but with a great neighborhood comes neighbors! We have strict quiet hours outside from 10pm - 7am each night. This is THE place to have fun but please be respectful of our neighbors and keep the noise at a reasonable volume while outside. Noise levels are monitored by Minut to prevent loud parties, damage to our property and noise complaints from neighbors. Come to have fun but please be respectful of our neighbors and our property during your stay.

This property is non-smoking. Guests that smoke inside (including vaping) will be charged a $500 cleaning fee and will be responsible for replacing any items damaged by smoke and cigarettes.

The entire space is yours to enjoy. The downstairs bedroom, with a queen memory foam mattress, has plenty of closet space. The second sleeping area is up the stairs in the loft where you will have a comfy queen mattress with plenty of pillows. The full bath has a shower and doors to both the bedroom and living room. The full kitchen has most anything you would need for a sweet meal! There is off-street parking and plenty of free street parking.

Currently, the house has a small hot water heater. It's fine as long as you take short showers and spread them out in between guests. Keep that in mind if you book the house for four guests.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is the yard fenced?
There is a partial fence for some privacy, but there is a bridge over the creek that leads to a neighboring cottage.

Are long showers possible?
The water heater is just a 10 gallon which allows for a five minute shower, so showers would need to be spread out between guests. We really don't have many complaints. Once guests know, it is easy to navigate.

Is noise an issue?
The house is located on a busy street so it can be noisy. The bedroom is in the back, so no one complains. The corner is so convenient and walkable so we do not mind the cars.

What is the parking situation?
There is plenty of parking for a car or two in front of the house and plenty more on the street.

How do I check in?
A day or two before your arrival, we send the details for your check in: address, door code, wifi info. You will be able to come and go using a code. Your personal code is activated at 3 pm, so if you request an early check in the code may not work. Just remind us!

Is a Pack n Play Available?
If you let us know ahead of time, we can have a pack n pland and/or high chair at the house for you.

Can I extend a stay?
To extend a stay, you can request through the app or message us. We will check the calendar then send confirmation with the new payout.

Can I change or cancel my reservation?
We have a moderate cancellation policy. It may vary a bit between platforms, but usually 5 days prior to arrival guests may receive a full refund. If a guests wants to make changes within the five days arrival or after arrival, we cannot provide a refund.

Are pets allowed?
We love dogs and love to host but they do cause more complications for our cleaning crew. We have a limit of 2 dogs with a 100.00 pet fee. Please let us know if you are bringing your pup. If guests arrive with a pet without making prior arrangements, the fee is 250.00. Because of allergies, we cannot host cats.

Service vs Emotional Support
Service dogs have received specialized training to performa specific task or tasks for an individual with a disability are considered service animals. Please provide the documentation and the pet fee is waived. Emotional support animals are important as well, but they will be charged the pet fee.

Are there extra pillows?
We provided two pillows per person. For instance, a queen bed will have four sleeping pillows. We leave plenty of extra blankets as well.

Are extra guests allowed?
If you have a few (2-3) friends pop over, this is not an issues. If you have extra guests sleeping over or more than five guests for an event, please ask and we can asses:)

Is smoking allowed outside?
Yes, you are welcome to smoke outside the space. Please pick up cigarette butts. Smoking inside the home would result in a 250.00 fee for cleaning and possible blocking nights for other guests.

Could we leave our luggage?
We are able to store luggage in the space for two hours before or after check in. Let us know so our cleaners are not surprised. Our house down the street with a safe carpart - also a safe option for leaving bags for a longer time period. Just let us know. There is also a service (usebounce) that is an option for storing bags.

Could I have an early check-in or late checkout?
We use the DACK app (info given upon confirmation) where guests can purchase extra time before check-in or after check-out. This allows our cleaners to manage their time and have houses ready in a timely manner.

What is a MUST do in Austin?
We love Barton Springs (especially in warmer months). South Congress has so much in a close proximity. Park close to Jo’s Coffee and stroll from there (shopping, cafes, music!). Vera Cruz tacos are really the best Austin has! Our Capital is gorgeous and very worth a drive by!

This private house with no shared walls or spaces comfortably fits 6 people. It includes an inviting front porch, open-concept living room and kitchen, dreamy outdoor deck with cafe lights, a private grassy, fenced-in yard (with cornhole!), two large bedrooms with a king bed in each, a surprisingly comfortable large queen pull-out bed, 1.5 bathrooms, a washer & dryer, and anything and everything you might need during your stay. We supply luxurious bedding, cooking supplies, hangers, a steamer, iron and ironing board, laundry detergent and more. We've thoughtfully designed every detail from scratch with love.

The house and the private yard are all yours! We do have a small locked closet on the bottom floor we use as our storage area.

There is a private garage that fits a small car - plus there is plenty of parking in the driveway and on the street. Our neighborhood is cute and quaint with homes that are either brand new or very old. I assure you that even if some of the homes are old and maybe a bit run down, the people inside of them are not - our neighbors are all very kind and we love to wave at each other when we’re out walking the dogs. (Though 100% we haven’t met everyone yet!) We’re a 7-25 minute walk to some of our favorite restaurants, bars and breweries in town - or a quick Uber/Lyft to the center of downtown, the airport, Townlake Hike & Bike trail, Soco, Zilker Park, UT, and other hot spots in Austin. Whatever it is you're looking for, we can send you in the right direction. Oh, how we love to give a good recommendation... or 20. Speaking of…

There are many restaurants nearby, so food was easy, and we were close to major roads that had us to our destination in no time. 1 sweet, shy dog & 2 adults live on the property & may be in the backyard occasionally.

New build home in a prime East Austin location, with an incredible amount of natural light and a perfectly shaded and groomed backyard to enjoy. Plenty of seating and sleeping options for small or mid-sized groups.

Downstairs: A large and extremely comfortable sectional couch placed in front of a smart TV. Gourmet chef's kitchen that opens up to the living room, making for a perfect space to entertain and host! Kitchen comes fully equipped: dishwasher, dishware, flatware, cooking basics, toaster, and coffee maker. New washer/dryer, a half bathroom and a bar cart are also part of the lower floor experience. Option to sleep two additional guests downstairs on either the provided queen sized air mattress or couch.

Upstairs: Guests will be met by a sitting nook and large windows at the top of the staircase. There are hardwood floors throughout the 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms and queen beds, able to accommodate 2 guests in each. Each bathroom features fresh towels for up to six guests, basic toiletries, hairdryers and new shower amenities, including an oversized standing shower in one and a bathtub/shower in the second. For those who are currently working from home, the second room includes an office space with a desk and comfortable rolling chair.

Outdoors: The front of the house features a large driveway, able to accommodate up to three cars. In the backyard, guests will be greeted by two beach cruisers, a bbq grill, plenty of outdoor seating with Adirondack chairs and a picnic table to enjoy meals or play games on. You will enter into the living room. Our cushy couch will beg you to rest. Our smart TV is a Samsung Frame TV with art when it is resting. The bedroom is off the living room with a comfy queen bed and a desk for working. Also off the living room is the full bathroom with an antique tub and a shower. The kitchen has everything you may need to cook a meal and a small dining for an intimate meal. The small fenced back yard is large enough for a table, squirrels, and maybe even a stray cat. This is also where you will find the two bikes for exploring.

That is it! Small, but we try to pack as much art, color, and sweet amenities for your stay.

The house is located on a busy street so it can be noisy. We do provide ear plugs and a sound machine. The location is GREAT! With an open kitchen/living room, a farmhouse bedroom, and a roomy loft, it’s the perfect home base to take in Austin. The spacious deck overlooking the creek is ideal for wine or coffee. The entire space is yours to enjoy. The downstairs bedroom, with a queen memory foam mattress, has plenty of closet space. The second sleeping area is up the stairs in the loft where you will have a comfy queen mattress with plenty of pillows. The full bath has a shower and doors to both the bedroom and living room. The full kitchen has most anything you would need for a sweet meal! There is off-street parking and plenty of free street parking.

Currently, the house has a small hot water heater. It's fine as long as you take short showers and spread them out in between guests. Keep that in mind if you book the house for four guests.

Is the yard fenced?
There is a partial fence for some privacy, but there is a bridge over the creek that leads to a neighboring cottage.

Are long showers possible?
The water heater is just a 10 gallon which allows for a five minute shower, so showers would need to be spread out between guests. We really don't have many complaints. Once guests know, it is easy to navigate.

Is noise an issue?
The house is located on a busy street so it can be noisy. The bedroom is in the back, so no one complains. The corner is so convenient and walkable so we do not mind the cars.

It's very easy to get around in the neighborhood. There are plenty of walkable restaurants, bars, music venues, sights, cafes, parks, food stores and shops. Scooters and bikes are also frequently parked and available for rent around the neighborhood if you don't want to walk, and of course there is Uber/Lyft. If you have your own car, we offer parking in the driveway or along the street is free. (Just please be mindful of our neighbors!)

The space
One room available in a sunny 1950's 3/2 Craftsman style home. The main bedroom will be the first door when you enter the home giving you a semi-private stay. I live in the master bedroom on the other side of the living room with my own external door.

Guest access
Open floor plan gives you easy access to every part of the home except my bedroom. You will have your own private bathroom and access to the washer and dryer located in it. Feel free to use the kitchen and fridge. Living room access with couch and television.

During your stay
I currently work from home in my office. We can interact as much or as little as you would like.

Welcome to an authentic Austin experience! This 1963 Airstream was carefully renovated to maintain its vintage charm with modern upgrades. This little slice of central east Austin sleeps up to 2 people and is the perfect combination of high design and affordable living in a historically BIPOC and artist community.

The space
The 26 foot Airstream Overlander “la Selva” occupies the back space of my 1950s bungalow and is accompanied by a spacious covered deck and adjacent, private yard outfitted with a table, chairs and even a chandelier. You will find a mix of original vintage items and new high quality items, such as West Elm pillows and Pendleton blankets. The natural light in la Selva is divine and helps it feel spacious and open. Sleeping arrangements include two twin size beds, luxurious linens, and the little shower has good water pressure and hot water. This is a perfect space for an adventurous soul who wants a place with character and good walkability.

Some of the character of the Airstream comes from the original woodwork, cabinet knobs and accordion doors. Please be gentle as you explore this vintage capsule.

Amenities include a brand new Galanz mini fridge, electric kettle and French press, fluffy pillows and comforters (with extras in the cabinets above), a Soma water filter carafe, silverware and basic kitchen tools, and fast WIFI. There is no stove/oven, the original oven is intact for its charm only!

Outside your front door is a spacious wooden deck, lots of plants and outdoor seating. The entire space is private and very safe and secure.

No parties or events are permitted and please, no more than 2 guests.

Guest access
You’ll come through the driveway and see your aluminum sanctuary in the backyard. There will be a key in a lockbox for you to check in at your convenience.

The lot backs up to a produce
Company. It is not every day, but some mornings we hear a loud clang. We think they are emptying garbage. It is loud, but it is brief! Every time I hear it, I say, that is so loud. Like I said, it is short lived:)
