The property and grounds have been published in various magazines, featured in commercials, and have been open for public outdoor garden tours. Casement windows surround the guest house with beautiful views of the gardens and numerous heritage Live Oak trees. Google fiber is available for high-speed internet access. Travis Heights is a wonderful residential neighborhood filled with unique upscale homes, a beautiful park and a natural springs pool that is free for visitors. The neighborhood is next to the South Congress area, Lady Bird Lake and a seven minute drive to downtown Austin.

Guests will need to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.

We provide some bath essentials like soap, shampoo, conditioner, body gel, toilet paper, and some garbage bags. Please note that these are not replenished during your stay.

Pack-n-Play travel crib (with sheets) & high chair are available upon request with a minimal fee.

Daily house cleaning is not available however, if you would like a mid-stay cleaning, one can be arranged for a fee. Please let us know in advance.

We kindly ask all guests to abide by these HOUSE RULES:

- No smoking of any kind (tobacco, cannabis, vaping etc.) inside the home, and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited.
- No parties, events, or illegal activities are permitted, and no excessive noise, especially between 10:00 pm and 7 am, will be tolerated. Please respect the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- Pet-friendly with prior authorization at booking, a signed pet agreement, and a pet fee of $25 per night. Pet fee is requested after booking is confirmed. Two pets max with a combined weight of 60 lbs. A pet fee is requested once the booking is confirmed.
- We kindly ask that pets stay off the furniture to keep things fresh for everyone. An additional cleaning fee may apply if excessive pet hair is found.

Keep in mind the host really can't do anything about these things. 1. One can totally walk to SoCo district but not all the streets in the neighborhood have sidewalks. 2. When you are driving in the neighborhood, there are speed humps that are not well marked. Keep an eye out. 3. The neighborhood is very much a quiet neighborhood. If you want to party like it's 1999, this is not the place for you. 4. The carport is spacious but if you have a large SUV you will probably need to park on the street. We drove our Nissan Pathfinder and it fit in our space well enough but anyone who needed to get in on the passenger side had to wait for me to pull out before they could get in."

This remodeled upstairs studio is walking distance to everything downtown and in the South Congress (SoCo) district. Experience Austin by staying in this wonderful old neighborhood, which is close to live music, food, culture, history and recreation. The light filled 2-bedroom studio is upstairs in my home. With off-street parking and a private exterior entrance it is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Austin. Gaze out to the two majestic 200-year old oak trees or enjoy yourself by sitting out in the shady backyard patio. A stroll 3 blocks west takes you to lively South Congress Avenue filled with fantastic restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and music venues. The house has a beautiful shaded pool for a dip or lounging but if you are a swimmer Big Stacy Park and pool is a short walk away with its year round pool which is fed by natural hot springs in the winter months. The park also has over 3 acres of walking trails. Additional swimming and recreation is but a short drive away at Zilker Park and Barton Springs Pool. If you are a runner or walker Lady Bird Lake trail is just a couple of blocks away for a jog or walk, and is home to Austin's famous Congress Avenue bat colony. The entertaining Second, Warehouse, and Sixth Street districts downtown are a 3-minute bus/cab ride or a 15 minute walk. Also close by are Auditorium Shores, the Convention Center, Whole Foods Market, the Long Performing Arts Center, the Capitol and much more.

The studio has two private bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and the other with a full size. The red house is nestled on a quiet, tree-lined street just 2 blocks off South Congress (SoCo) in charming Travis Heights. Stroll to fantastic restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and music venues. You can also easily catch a bus or walk downtown.

This light-filled, modernized 1926 bungalow is the ideal place to relax after a day or night of exploring vibrant Austin.

Enjoy an iced tea or margarita in the private backyard - under a majestic 350-year-old oak tree.

Get a good night's rest: both bedrooms are on the main floor and feature queen beds and high-quality linens.

The main bathroom has a tub/shower combo and slate tile floors. A half bathroom and laundry area are conveniently located off the kitchen.

The kitchen, dining, and living room feature high vaulted ceilings. The fully equipped kitchen features a gas oven, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, coffee grinder, french press, toaster, and blender. The flat-screen TV in the living room is equipped with ROKU. There's also a digital radio with pandora and internet radio stations.

In case you need to work, you'll find a roomy desk and the fastest wi-fi available (Google Fiber)!

There's also a bonus loft area with a sofa for relaxing (no sleeping in the loft area).

There's a carport for one vehicle plus room for one vehicle directly behind it.

Beautiful Stacy Park is 3 blocks east and equipped with 3 acres of walking trails and a heated, spring-fed swimming pool. You'll also find a wading pool, playground, & friendly neighbors at Little Stacy Park - enough fun to entertain even the tiniest of travelers for hours.

Traveling with a Pet?
After booking, you must indicate that you would like to bring a pet and that you will follow the house rules:
• A pet fee will be charged separately after booking: $75 for stays up to 3 nights + $10 for each additional night.
• We only accept dogs - 2 max.
• Heavy shedding dogs and dogs under one year of age are not allowed.
• Dogs must be groomed close to the check-in date, including nails trimmed, and must be up to date on medications, flea prevention, etc.
• Pets must stay off of the furniture, beds, and linens.
• Dogs must not bark excessively.
• You must clean all dog waste in the yard - daily.
• Pet owner will be responsible for any damage to the property caused by pet.

Getting Around:
The nearest international airport is Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) 8 miles | 13 km away. We recommend getting around by car. There‘s free covered parking for one vehicle and also free street parking. You can also use Uber and Lyft in Austin.

Travis Heights is a wonderful residential neighborhood filled with unique upscale homes, a beautiful park and a natural springs pool that is free for visitors. The neighborhood is next to the South Congress area, Lady Bird Lake and a seven minute drive to downtown Austin.

Guests will need to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.

We provide some bath essentials like soap, shampoo, conditioner, body gel, toilet paper, and some garbage bags. Please note that these are not replenished during your stay.

Daily house cleaning is not available however, if you would like a mid-stay cleaning, one can be arranged for a fee. Please let us know in advance.

We kindly ask all guests to abide by these HOUSE RULES:
- Travelers must be at least 25 years old or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind (tobacco, cannabis, vaping etc.) inside the home, and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited.
- No parties, events, or illegal activities are permitted, and no excessive noise, especially between 10:00 pm and 7 am, will be tolerated. Please respect the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- Pet-friendly with prior authorization at booking, a signed pet agreement, and a pet fee of $25 per night. Pet fee is requested after booking is confirmed. Two pets max with a combined weight of 60 lbs. A pet fee is requested once the booking is confirmed.
- We kindly ask that pets stay off the furniture to keep things fresh for everyone. An additional cleaning fee may apply if excessive pet hair is found.

I live near many attractions my space has simple decor with all the things you need for a short or long stay. I travel often so although it is a shared space you will most likely be alone and if this is a long term stay you will interact with my plant foster mom who cares for my plants while I work abroad. Its a very comfortable apartment with almost all the things you need to enjoy a nice stay. If you’d like cleaning service that’s available with covid measures in place of course.

The space
I'm located on the 3rd floor so keep that in mind when booking with me. I also have a small 16 yr old terrier that is blind that lives with me. Bella is mostly kenneled if I am not home but if you're allergic to dogs do not book my listing. When I travel she stays with my partner and will not be in the apartment.

I will most likely be traveling during the month but I do have someone who comes and takes care of my plants and checks on the apartment while I am away.

The apartment is located next to St. Edwards University in the 78704 (SoCo neighborhood). You can bike to Congress St in less than 5 minutes and a bus stop is located across the street from the apartment complex. If you want to experience Austin nightlife, the distance to downtown is a 10 min drive. Google Fiber Wifi is available at the basic level.

This apartment on South 1st St is perfectly situated between, South Lamar, SoCo, and Downtown. The bedroom and bathroom are both spacious with a futon that can be moved into the bedroom for extra bed and privacy. Cheapest rate you’ll find for the best location.

Tucked away off the street, this cozy space is perfect for getting a feel for Austin without breaking the bank.

The space
This is a subsection of my house that is completely independent with a full bedroom, full bathroom and mini-kitchen/living/dining room. You have your own balcony/deck, entrance and climate controls. The whole space is 300sqft but very functional and includes a queen-size bed.

The location is extremely convenient being in 78704 just off the South Congress (SoCo) strip where you'll find all sorts of food, drinks, music, shopping and people watching. If you're more into the mother natures there is a university at the end of the block with plenty of outdoor space, a running track and views of the city... there is also a nature preserve in the neighborhood and a great park with a free public pool just down the street. A 24 hour grocery store and 4+ bank ATMs are all a block away as well as the main bus line, Car2Go, taxis, bike share and safe biking routes.

This space is great for a visit to austin or a transitional space for a month or more. It's fully furnished so you only need to bring some clothes and toys. Depending on the situation, I have a bike or two I can lend you to get around as that's how I travel around Austin 90% of the time and highly encourage you to indulge in this activity.

There is a washer and dryer in a code locked utility room in the carport. If you are a single person staying for at least 3 months and are paying full price then I am happy to discuss sharing access. All other scenarios will require an additional fee.

Private balcony with table and chairs, gas grill and front porch. There is a laundromat just across the street next to the 24 hour grocery store and a bunch of banks, knock out all your errands at once!

Other things to note
This is the smaller side of a subdivided space. You share a couple walls with the larger space so be considerate of that fact because the sound does travel. Generally you don't hear much if anything but if you do there are a couple fans that generate some white noise and mostly mute things. In the years of living with this configuration it hardly ever impacted my life but is worth noting.

The Little Pink House (LPH) is the perfect place to experience Austin for a few months. South Congress has the Austin vibe with groceries, eateries, shops, and great live music just a few blocks away. The park and Big Stacy lap pool is across the street, free and open to the public. The LPH, amazingly spacious, private and quiet, is nestled in the neighborhood under tall shade trees full of birds and squirrels in a fenced in yard with fire pit and lounge chairs. Come be our neighbor!

The space
The property has a main house and a back house. The tiny house has its own walkway and parking spot in the driveway. There's lighting along the path. Inside the tiny house there's a queen bed and a sofa that folds out into a bed. The kitchen and bedroom are all one room (like a studio) with one door going to the outside and one going into the bathroom. Its a full bath with tub and shower. A laundry area is in the carport and is shared with your hosts.

As you come in to the property you use the left side gravel driveway. Pull all the way forward as far as possible so that you won't block the sidewalk. The walkway beside the main house will take you straight to the Little Pink House.

Other things to note
If you want a nice breeze and less AC. Turn on the house fan. The switch is on the wall separate from the light switch panel. It is higher up and close to the front windows.

Our brand new SoCo Studio is all about the location! Come experience the very best of Austin. The studio is a short walk (steps!) from great restaurants, shops and live music on South Congress.

The studio is in a brand new guest house, with its own private entrance and gorgeous ensuite bathroom. It also has a new super comfy queen bed, high end linens, compact fridge and a desk in case you need to get some work done when you're not out exploring the city. Great vibe!

This cute yet modern 19 foot Airstream sits just next door, a short 1.5 miles, to downtown Austin. Within biking distance to anything you could want in the city (SXSW, ACL, 6th Street are all just minutes away) and two free bikes to get you there during your stay, this is the perfect headquarters for exploring everything Austin has to offer. Unwind with a wonderful shared yard and plenty of games to utilize during your downtime! Perfect for couples and solo glampers alike with A/C and hot water!

The space
This modern Airstream sits just a few minutes from downtown Austin. The main bed is a full-sized mattress while the dinette can be turned into a twin bed if more space is needed. The Airstream itself is 19 ft. and feels like a cozy tiny home with all the space inside.

There is plenty o fparking on the street across from the house. There are two airstreams on the property so be sure and match you reservation with the correct airstream if self checking in. (This is #19). Short Uber ride to downtown or South Congress. 10 min bicycle ride (very nice bikes available to use).
Please throw trash away in brown (land fill) and recyclables in blue (recycle bins) located near the wooden gate.

The space
My home is located in the coveted 78704 area of South Austin, along the South Congress (SoCo) shopping and entertainment strip. You can easily walk to the 24 hour grocery store, four different banks/atms, a pharmacy, restaurants, shops, bars, coffee shops, bus stops, a nature preserve, a public pool, parks and more. Borrow a couple of my bikes and you'll be downtown in five minutes or most anywhere you want to be in Austin in less than twenty. The heart of SoCo is 1 mile away, Auditorium Shores is 2 miles away, Zilker Park/Barton Springs is 3 miles away and the airport is only a 15 minute drive. This is the side of the duplex I lived in and it includes wifi, central air, full kitchen, queen bed, queen couch bed, off-street parking, screen patio, front balcony, vaulted ceilings, solar panels, rainwater collection, big backyard, and a quiet neighborhood where you won't have to fight for a parking spot.

There has been feedback about sound transmission between the units but as of today (9/19/2024) I have rebuilt the adjoining wall to be soundproof and so far the tests have proven the effort to be successful. Hooray!

You are welcome to use all the normal stuff and can have access to a couple bikes if you give me some heads up.

Convenience! Walk to everything you'll need while you're here and bike/bus to the rest of what people do in Austin. I'm a 2 mile straight shot down to the Congress bridge (where the bats are) and that's pretty much the center of all activity.

The 1, 101 and rapid transit bus stops are all just a block away or you can easily bike around. A taxi ride to/from downtown or east is under $10. Barton Springs Pool and Zilker Park are 3 miles away, Auditorium Shores is 2 miles. You won't have trouble getting around without a car. Lots of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, thrift stores, etc. There's a nature preserve just down the street to hike around in and walking the St Edwards campus is always nice.
