This is a rustic fishing cabin on quaint and quiet Lake Retreat. The cabin truly is rustic and quiet. Built (we assume) by weekend warriors back in 1979, it became ours in May of 2018. Lake Retreat is part of the Lake View Property Owners Association. The owners, Chris and Nancy have paid the dues for the year, so the dock is available for fishing. The lake has Bass, Catfish, Blue Gill, and other Brim. Lake Retreat is a no-wake lake. The LPOA does not allow non-owner motorized boats on the lake. Swimming is not recommended. Water is not tested for e-coli.

This cabin is a peaceful getaway right on the serene water of Lake Retreat! The dock also has two Adirondack chairs so you can sit and fish or enjoy the view! We provide pond fish food so you can feed the fish and an occasional turtle off the dock.

This cabin includes a smart TV in the living area and another smart TV in the Queen bed bedroom. Both have remotes. The kitchen features an electric range, microwave, and a refrigerator with ice maker. You can fill the cooler on the way to the game! The cabin is great for relaxing after an Alabama football game.

Also not more than 15-20 minutes to the Hoover sports complex and about 25 minutes to the Spann high school, which is where a lot of our games were held. Felt safe and secure in the neighborhood. The owners were kind enough to provide a brand new grill as well as additional linens during our stay. We would certainly recommend Dee‘s house again."

When entering the front door you will need to put in the code of your last for digits of your phone number or your Birth year. You will then be welcomed by OUR WELCOME HOME board on the right . The first door on the left is where the half bathroom is located , following is a second door on your left which is closet but it's kept locked*. The door on the right is a garage which is not accessible at this moment but there is a driveway that would be quite useful.

The Cozy and bright Living Room Is The Heart Of The Home Complete With a sectional couch as well as a open kitchen concept. The kitchen includes a beautiful dining area, a island with a sink as well as a the necessary amenities which includes a Fridge with a water and an ice maker, an electric stove( cook tops). LET's not forget the microwave as well as kitchen appliances * utensils etc*

With 3 Bedrooms ( upstairs) where the Master bedroom has it's own bathroom. The other two bedrooms are across the hall from the other bathroom. It’s a quiet neighborhood safe, only 5 miles from the freeway also 35 minutes to Denny Stadium. Roll tide to my place for nice stay. This is my private home I reside in myself I will rent the whole house for 3-4 guests but if it’s one person I’ll rent half of the house which have two bedrooms and private bathroom , I will stay on the other side we share the kitchen only . Our cabin is secured with an electronic keypad lock. You will be given the code in your check-in instructions on the day of your arrival. You may access the cabin and the outdoor firepit directly behind the home. Parking for the tiny house is directly in front of the cabin.

There is another home available for rent on the property. Their designated parking area is behind their house. Please be respectful of other guests' privacy and space.

The main level boasts a vast kitchen and dining area featuring 3 dining tables for communal meals. Enjoy the comfort of a king-sized bed and trundle in one bedroom, while the master bathroom invites relaxation with its walk-in shower. Another bedroom offers a twin trundle and a convenient half bath. The living room, equipped with a smart TV, is perfect for entertainment.

Venture upstairs to discover unique bedrooms. A queen bed graces one room, while a master suite indulges you with a king bed, full bed, and a luxurious master bath with a tub/shower combo. The bunk room hosts two bunk beds, ideal for the adventurous crew. An additional room offers two twin beds and a full bed, complete with a bathroom featuring a shower/tub combo. Our guests have access to the entire main level, upstairs, and outside areas. There is a basement level that is not accessible.

There is a second rental home on our property. It may also be rented during your stay. Please respect other guests' privacy and park in your designated areas.

Our country cottage sits atop a quiet hill overlooking a beautiful field. We are just off I-20, near the Mercedes plant, roughly 25 miles from Bryant-Denny Stadium and 35 miles from Birmingham.
