This was my first time staying in a B&B and I was not disappointed. The temperature in our room was not as cool as we generally like but the fan that was provided really helped with that. And the temperature was not uncomfortable. We just like it frigid, (and we were sunburned) which may have been too cold for the other guest, who was also lovely. We enjoyed meeting and conversing with her very much too. Don’t miss your chance to stay here if you get the opportunity as it is for sale! Beautifully restored and renovated, the home still contains its original features, but includes all the modern amenities and comforts. You will not find a more fascinating and charming home than this, and the location can't be beat! Two bedrooms and 1 bath with 1200 sq feet of living space. Several boat launches located within minutes, and plenty of room to park your vehicles and boat. Dogs are welcome with a $50 non-refundable pet fee. Providence Canyon, AKA the Little Grand Canyon of Georgia is approx 20 miles away.

The master bedroom has a king size bed with full bath. One of the other bedrooms has a queen bed and the other has a full bed. These bedrooms share a full bath. All bedrooms have flat screen TV's with satellite and dvd players. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa with a larger tv and satellite and dvd player. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the major appliances except a dishwasher, it has dishes, pots and pans, etc. There is a full washer and dryer in the utility room. A 12x24 sunroom on the back of the house that over looks the lake. It has been updated with tile counter tops and a tile floor in the kitchen. The kitchen cabinets have been replaced with beautiful pine cabinets that match the paneling in the living room and sun room. The bedrooms have been updated with new comforters, televisions and curtains. There is new carpet all the way thru the house and the bathrooms have new vanities and tubs/showers. All the rooms have been painted. There has also been new furniture added to make this house feel more like a home.

There is a gazebo with furniture and a charcoal grill. There is also a small stream that flows under the gazebo to the pond. Guest have fished for crawfish in the stream and caught quiet a few. We have also added a fire pit with log seats for an evening of roasted marshmallow's, hot dogs or smores.

There is a floating dock with electricity, a small pond with a small dock and plenty of fish. There is a boat landing .6 mile from the house. We have plenty of yard to park trucks with boat trailers and if you would like to bring golf cart or such for easier access to the dock feel free to do so.

After you finish your morning walk, you may enjoy a game of tennis or a round of golf, both of which are available at George Bagby State Park. Other outdoor activities include wildlife viewing, hiking in Providence Canyon State Park, or a visit to Kolomoki Mounds State Park.

Awesome lake property perfect for a weekend getaway or tournament fishermen. Beautiful lake views and a nice little sandy beach to relax or beach a boat. There is enough room for 3 boats to park and the nearest public boat ramp is 3.1 miles away. There is now T-Mobile high-speed internet and a smart TV with all the apps and it is also hooked to an HD antenna and gets around 10 local channels. There is a charcoal grill on the back deck so just bring some charcoal, lighter fluid and some burgers or steaks and you will be set!

Please know it was hard for me to figure out so not being able to turn the water off easily and the threat of him checking his water bill and speaking rudely to me in the end is my only complaint. The owner was very nice up until then."

We would have given all 5-star ratings except for the inaccuracy about the amenities. The amenities listed "free wi-fi" which we found out once we had checked in that there was none. One of our family members needed internet in order to "work from home" while we were there, which is one of the reasons we had chosen this property over others. Overall, a good experience."

Early Check-In: To accommodate early arrivals, we kindly request advance notification. An early check-in before 4 PM incurs a $50 fee, which is mandatory and non-negotiable.

Late Check-Out: Please note that late check-out is not available. A fee of $50 will be applied for check-outs between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. For departures after 1:00 PM, a full nightly rate will be charged.

Trip Extension: For guests wishing to extend their stay, we require notification before 9 AM on the day of your scheduled check-out.

Damages: Responsibility for any damages incurred during your stay extends to all members of your party. We will communicate any damages directly, followed by an invoice for the necessary repairs or replacements.

Laundry Service: Our linens are professionally cleaned and prepared for each guest.

Parties/Events: We strictly prohibit parties or events. Should we suspect such activities, we will initiate contact to resolve the matter. Failure to respond may lead to reservation cancellation without a refund.

Security and House Rules: Exterior security cameras are operational at all times for your safety. Adherence to our no pets, occupancy limits, and furniture arrangement policies is essential. Smoking is prohibited inside but is allowed outside the property. Violations of house rules, confirmed through security monitoring or other means, will incur a $50 fee per incident.

This is a smoke-free and pet free home. We do not accept any animals. We do not allow smoking in the house. There will be an extra fine if any of these rules are broken.
Other things to note:
Ponce General Store is right where you turn off main road and has bait, tackle, supplies and snacks.
They also have a restaurant open Wed. - Sat 7am-3pm. (Memorial, July 4th and Labor Day they're open all week)
The grill is a pellet grill.
The boat lift is not available, however there is a Public boat ramp that we use just over 3 miles away at the following address - County Road 62, Fort Gaines, GA 39854

My aunts decided on the location. Before the date arrived one of my aunts passed away. My family and I decided we should continue with our trip in her honor. We are so glad we did! The home was peaceful and spacious. We enjoyed visiting the local stores, restaurants, and state parks. It was a great time with family as we all grieve our loss.

Our favorite place was the dock - we would have spent the whole week out there if it hadn’t been so hot! This is the closest house to Bagby State park, which offers public boat launch, a marina, a public beach. This state park is undergoing major renovation: adding 69 RV camp sites. When it opens, it’ll offer restaurant, swimming pool, tennis court, 2 pickleball courts, a basketball and a valley ball court. A bike trial is right outside of this property, leading to Bagby state park and Fort Gaines.

This house offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bath. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and Fulton. a private bathroom with garden tub and separate shower. The other 2 bedrooms are on the other side of the living room and kitchen, they shear a hall way bathroom. Bedroom#2 has 2 twin beds, both have trundle beds underneath. So it sleeps 4. Bedroom #3 has a twin bed and a Fulton.
There is a large covered deck outside of the back door. So you can still enjoy the outdoor in the rain. A covered carport for boat or RV in the backyard as well. There is a fire pit between the pump house and the RV car port for your mush-mellow roasting fun.

Don Quixote (Don Kee-Ho-tay), is a replica of a Swedish style log cabin nestled on a bluff surrounded by an acre of hard wood trees. This lake front property is adjacent to the 11,184 acre Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge and is just steps to its shoreline. The three level log cabin home has ample parking for up to 4 vehicles and boats. The length of the drive way is 78 feet long and 15 feet wide at its entrance and 29 feet wide closet to the cabin.

Inside, the upper loft holds the master suite with a king size bed and master bath and a bridge connecting the master suite with the office area, game and reading area.

Steps lead down to the main level which houses a second bathroom, with a shower, and a large spacious kitchen, dining area with a breakfast bar that has seating for 5 additional people, an oversized sectional, a large 65" smart television, and two sleeper chairs nestled in an alcove which recline as twin beds to accommodate two individuals who might find the stairs either up or down challenging.

A narrow spiral staircases leads down to the bottom floor for the additional two bedrooms, laundry room and third bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom on the lower level has two double beds and the third and largest bedroom holds the queen size bed, two single beds and a futon. On this lower level there are two exits that lead out to the fire pit sitting area with lake views. The bottom floor can also be accessed by stairs off the south side porch or by the down slope off the drive way.

House Rules.
* No smoking or vaping ANYWHERE on the property
* No illicit drug use or marijuana ANYWHERE on the property
* No burning of candles or incense. Battery operated candles are available for your use
* No parties or events of more than the number of guest on the reservation list.
* No nightly stays of guest over the maximum allowed guest of 12. An extra guest fee will be charged in the amount of $30 per additional guest per night.
* No Pets allowed. An additional cleaning fee of $100 will be added to the reservation if a pet is brought in with prior consent of owner
* No disturbance of neighbors to include visiting, loud noises, parties, parking on premises other than Don Quixote cabin and the use of fireworks
