This was my first time staying in a B&B and I was not disappointed. The temperature in our room was not as cool as we generally like but the fan that was provided really helped with that. And the temperature was not uncomfortable. We just like it frigid, (and we were sunburned) which may have been too cold for the other guest, who was also lovely. We enjoyed meeting and conversing with her very much too. Don’t miss your chance to stay here if you get the opportunity as it is for sale! You will not find a more fascinating and charming home than this, and the location can't be beat! Two bedrooms and 1 bath with 1200 sq feet of living space. Several boat launches located within minutes, and plenty of room to park your vehicles and boat. Dogs are welcome with a $50 non-refundable pet fee. Providence Canyon, AKA the Little Grand Canyon of Georgia is approx 20 miles away.

The master bedroom has a king size bed with full bath. One of the other bedrooms has a queen bed and the other has a full bed. These bedrooms share a full bath. All bedrooms have flat screen TV's with satellite and dvd players. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa with a larger tv and satellite and dvd player. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the major appliances except a dishwasher, it has dishes, pots and pans, etc. There is a full washer and dryer in the utility room. A 12x24 sunroom on the back of the house that over looks the lake. It has been updated with tile counter tops and a tile floor in the kitchen. The kitchen cabinets have been replaced with beautiful pine cabinets that match the paneling in the living room and sun room. The bedrooms have been updated with new comforters, televisions and curtains. There is new carpet all the way thru the house and the bathrooms have new vanities and tubs/showers. All the rooms have been painted. There has also been new furniture added to make this house feel more like a home.

There is a gazebo with furniture and a charcoal grill. There is also a small stream that flows under the gazebo to the pond. Guest have fished for crawfish in the stream and caught quiet a few. We have also added a fire pit with log seats for an evening of roasted marshmallow's, hot dogs or smores.

There is a floating dock with electricity, a small pond with a small dock and plenty of fish. There is a boat landing .6 mile from the house. We have plenty of yard to park trucks with boat trailers and if you would like to bring golf cart or such for easier access to the dock feel free to do so.

If you enjoy exercise, there is a 3 mile paved walking/bike path, just a few hundred feet away from the Time Out Retreat, that runs between two parks which are both located on Lake Eufaula.

After you finish your morning walk, you may enjoy a game of tennis or a round of golf, both of which are available at George Bagby State Park. Other outdoor activities include wildlife viewing, hiking in Providence Canyon State Park, or a visit to Kolomoki Mounds State Park.

Awesome lake property perfect for a weekend getaway or tournament fishermen. Beautiful lake views and a nice little sandy beach to relax or beach a boat. There is enough room for 3 boats to park and the nearest public boat ramp is 3.1 miles away. There is now T-Mobile high-speed internet and a smart TV with all the apps and it is also hooked to an HD antenna and gets around 10 local channels. There is a charcoal grill on the back deck so just bring some charcoal, lighter fluid and some burgers or steaks and you will be set!

Please know it was hard for me to figure out so not being able to turn the water off easily and the threat of him checking his water bill and speaking rudely to me in the end is my only complaint. The owner was very nice up until then."

- "Everything was great" - "The property was the perfect space for some of our family members who were in the area for a memorial service. We would have given all 5-star ratings except for the inaccuracy about the amenities. The amenities listed "free wi-fi" which we found out once we had checked in that there was none. One of our family members needed internet in order to "work from home" while we were there, which is one of the reasons we had chosen this property over others. Overall, a good experience."
