If you want a relaxing beach vacation in a beautiful home at a quiet beach, this is the place!! We would definitely stay at The Kid again!"

The water itself isn't very far away even thought it looks kind of far in the pictures. I can confidently say that me and the group I went with had no complaints of the property. The simple check in along with the simple check out instructions were so nice and private. Didn't have to do anything complicated. It is completely stocked - every kitchen appliance you could want; everything you might want at the beach (surfboards, beach chairs, toys, wet suits - you name it). The beach is so close, as well as the harbor and a park - both wonderful for walks, or bike rides. We really enjoyed walking to the local farmers market (Sunday mornings). Was a great way to stock up on fresh produce for meals for the week. We were surprised at how pleasantly cool the weather was - visited in August, at it was 65-73 degrees for the whole week. Such a refreshing change in the middle of summer. Very comfortable furniture and everything was beautifully appointed - it just felt like “home”. Would highly recommend!"

We loved sitting outside in the mornings and evenings. Very family friendly home. Lots of beach toys provided as well as chairs and an umbrella. My only suggestion is that you bring your own Tupperware to store left over food if you plan on cooking. There were none at the house. Will definitely rent again."

- "We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Beauty and the Beach home in Oxnard. This was one of our last vacations before a few of my kids moved away and this house helped make our family vacation perfect. I believe we were one of the very first groups to stay in the home as it had just become a rental. The management company, specifically Dawn, was responsive before and after I booked answering my questions and letting me know how checkin would go. The house was not yet set up for using the digital keypad on the entry door, so Dawn met us at the house to give us keys and show us around the house. The house was just as pictured. Beautifully furnished and decorated with lots of high-end amenities and appliances. And the beach was literally 2 houses away!!! The only complaint we had at all during our entire stay was just that the fridge and freezer stunk strongly of fish. That's obviously something that will go away or be resolved easily and people who love fish might not have minded it as much so not a big deal. Also the main floor washing machine was out of service for our stay, but there was a washer/dryer combo on the bottom floor and the main floor dryer worked and we used it plenty! We didn't want to leave, so we definitely give it a thumbs up! We already plan on coming back to this exact house in the very near future!"
