The Sequoia River Cabin is nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills, in a quaint hamlet known as Three Rivers, Gateway to the Sequoias. We are just 5 minutes (5 miles) to the Ash Mountain entrance of Sequoia National Park. Our cabin is ideal for 2 Adults only ~ No Children and No Pets.

Our cute and cozy cabin has a well-equipped kitchen and a propane BBQ off the back deck. The cabin is ideal for a couple. The rear deck is just steps away from the Main Fork of the Kaweah River.

We are conveniently located on Sierra Drive, the main road through town, with the main fork of the Kaweah River just steps from the back deck. The private river setting allows for a true romantic getaway. There is a fire pit by the river to enjoy an evening fire and we do supply firewood.

Relax in the Sundance Spa / hot tub / jacuzzi on the back deck, listen to the sounds of the river and marvel at the Blue Heron and various duck species that call the river home. You just might see some deer at the river's edge.

In the evening, relax in the lounge chairs by the river and be mesmerized by the spectacular star-studded night sky.

In springtime, you can sit on the deck and catch a glimpse of the whitewater rafters and kayakers as they make their way down the river.

We offer plush towels, quality linens and we also provide bath amenities for our guests.

This historic cabin was originally built as a fishing retreat decades ago and has evolved a number of times since then. In the '70s it was Little Rainbow, the workshop of our local silversmith. After that it became a private residence, and later a trendy coffee house named The Cabin. The Cabin later became The Buckaroo, serving hamburgers and sandwiches.

PLEASE NOTE: If you choose to not respect our rule for occupancy, which is 2 adults only, there will be a charge of $100 per night per additional person.

As shown in the pictures, we are located on the main road through town and you will hear some road noise at times.

The river behind our cabin is not deep enough for swimming. When it is deep enough for swimming, it is flowing too swiftly to safely go in but makes for excellent river rafting. The water level does get low at the very end of summer / beginning of fall, until we get some rain. You can walk downriver to where the north fork of the Kaweah River joins the main fork to a swimming hole.

They provide beyond basic spices, oil, condiments, ice, “Common things you may have forgotten,” first aid kit. The bed was comfortable and they even provide a sound machine. The list of comforts goes on and on. All of this in addition to a welcoming bottle of wine! The cabin location is stunning. The river that runs through the back is gorgeous with lots of wildlife to watch. We loved the hummingbird feeder and ate all of our meals on the deck with the company of the little birds. We were a short drive to the entrance of Sequoia park which was lovely since it’s a long drive into the park to find hikes. You are in the heart of Three Rivers.. it is a lovely town with lots of dining/coffee options… we didn’t dine out much but we did go to the local grocery for good meat for grilling! The hosts are very responsive and extremely kind and accommodating. I really hope to return to explore the parks more and will be happy to stay here again. I will definitely recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the area."

The Blue Oak Bungalow is nestled in the peaceful Alta Acres neighborhood of Three Rivers, only 3 miles from Sequoia National Park. The property is made up of 2 parts; the main house and a cozy detached studio just a couple of steps away. Built in 1956, this charming home masterfully combines the classic architecture from that era with a colorful modern flare that creates the perfect balance of old & new. The owner has lovingly restored, refurnished and redecorated the home with your comfort and enjoyment as a priority. Add to that the fact that he chose a manager whose houses have been voted "Best Vacation Home in Kaweah Country" for five years in a row, and you have the makings for a perfect experience.

The main house opens into a brilliant living room featuring floor to ceiling windows showcasing the Sierra Nevada mountains. You'll find lots of comfy seating, a woodstove, large screen smart TV and amazing local artwork adorning the walls. The open floor plan includes a dining table that will seat six and a full kitchen complete with a gas oven & stovetop, new refrigerator/freezer, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, blender, cookware, dinnerware...you name it. The bedroom contains a brand new Cal King bed, large mirrored closet and a view of the garden and mountain peaks of Sequoia National Park. The bathroom features a wonderful claw foot bathtub with shower curtain enclosure, mirrored vanity, plenty of room, and towel sets for everyone. The temperature of the house can easily be controlled by a Nest thermostat. No matter how hot or cold it is outside, you will be very comfortable inside.

The adjacent studio (just a couple of steps away) is perfect for those in your party that prefer a bit more privacy. Inside you will find a bedroom with a new Cal King bed, outstanding views of the great outdoors, coffee service, mini fridge, big closet, cabinets for your storage and a full bathroom with tub/shower. We provide a double bed size Memory Foam fold-out mattress with linens if you need additional sleeping space in the studio. The studio's climate is controlled by a ductless mini-split offering both heating & cooling in an efficient and quiet manner.

We happily provide unlimited hi-speed internet (Spectrum approx 75Mbps download speed) for our guests who like to stay connected or are on a working vacation. The smart television is not connected to cable or satellite, but does offer Netflix and guests are welcome to access their own accounts as well (don't forget to bring your password).

The front garden is a cornucopia of colorful plants and fun seating areas. A propane BBQ grill is provided.

The town of Three Rivers, population under 3,000, has its own elementary school, several churches, hotels, gas stations, grocery stores, cool restaurants, a brewery, hardware store, a bank, and a handful of unique stores offering local arts & crafts. The town's boundary runs right up to the park entrance so you can't get any closer to Sequoia than Three Rivers if you are looking for convenient lodging while exploring the giant sequoias.

Tucked into the lower east side of Salt Creek Canyon sits this beautiful hand-crafted 580 square foot guest house on nine acres. Originally built by owner as a writing and painting studio in the late 1980s, it has an open floor plan with a wood beam ceiling and pine plank flooring. All wood furniture is made by owner. The screened in porch opens onto two wooden decks that over look a series of cascading ponds and Salt Creek farther below. A separate driveway from Salt Creek Road (also known as Craig Ranch Road) with carport provides parking and privacy.
Location makes it very easy to get to where you want to go, whether it is to the park, to town or to the end of south fork and lady bug trail. A half mile walk or bike ride further up Salt Creek Road gives you access to BLM (Bureau of Land Management—public lands) and Case Mountain for great hiking and mountain biking trails, as well as, Salt Creek waterfalls. (seasonally winter and spring) It is a park all unto itself.

The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, spices, a blender, and a toaster, everything you would need to prepare meals in-house for those who love to cook. We also provide you with coffee and assorted teas, along with a few complimentary goodies. We provide plenty of local information and tips from your Host including where to go if you just prefer dining out! The bathrooms are always clean with plenty of fresh, clean towels. We also supply you with shampoo, conditioner, body wash.
The beds are all top of the line King size and include all new linens. These beds are comfortable! We also use hypoallergenic pillow and bed protectors for your safety and comfort.
The couches and the dining room table are comfortable as well. Yes, there is a large HD-tv and very good Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi is good enough to stream movies 24/7 so we provide you with free Netflix!
There is a BBQ on the deck and the living room is situated to take in views of the (often) snow-peaked Sierra Mountains. The views from the front and back are some of the best in Three Rivers and each is completely different.

For each additional guest above the preferred 4, there will be a $25 fee, per night, as well as an extra cleaning fee of $20 for each additional person.

The Ash Mountain Suite is very spacious (450 sq feet) with amazing mountain views! The Suite has a queen bed, private shower, toilet and dressing area as well as a dining table, electric fireplace and Roku TV. Also, the Suite has a kitchenette with a wet bar, mini refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, teapot, dishes and utensils. NOTE: We do not have an oven/stove. We provide complementary coffee, tea and a snack basket with oatmeal, popcorn, healthy snack packs, protein bars, chocolates & bottled water. A perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy nature with magnificent views of Ash Peak and Red Mountain. Also, our location is wonderful for bird watching during the day and stargazing at night. We are located in the quaint, artistic mountain town of Three Rivers. There are many restaurants, shops and activities to explore. The top rated Gateway Restaurant is a local favorite and located ¼ mile away. Breathtaking river views, delicious food, full bar and open 365 days a year serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, The Totem Market is less than 1 mile away. The Totem is a small market with casual food, deli, BBQ, beer, wine & supplies. Perfect location to pick up goodies for your picnic basket! Both The Gateway and The Totem Market rent chains if needed.

We offer our guests convenient and private self check in. You can check yourself in using the keypad. Your personal 4 digit keypad code will be sent to you 5 days prior to your check in date. Check in time is 3:00pm. The Suite is often ready earlier and we are happy to offer an early check in when available.

We have safe and secure parking available on the property. The Suite includes one designated parking space. We can accommodate a second car next door upon request. Please inquire if needed.

Wi-Fi and phone reception can be spotty in the Sequoia National Park area. We are thrilled to have Spectrum high speed internet on our property. Phone reception is excellent when you turn on “wi-fi calling” on your cell phone.

Our guests have access to all areas of the property. The Suite has an outdoor table & chairs on the patio plus we have two picnic areas with picnic tables and a propane BBQ grill available to use. The Rose Retreat is located on a beautiful, private and quiet one acre mountain lot. Being located less than 1 mile to the gate of the famous Sequoia National Park makes us one of the closest properties available in Three Rivers! The space is a newly built (2022) custom property with two private modern Suites (Red Mountain Suite and Ash Mountain Suite).

The Red Mountain Suite is very spacious (450 sq feet) with amazing mountain views! The Suite has a queen bed, private shower, toilet and dressing area as well as a dining table, electric fireplace and Roku TV. Also, the Suite has a kitchenette with a wet bar, mini refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, teapot, dishes and utensils. NOTE: We do not have an oven/stove. We provide complementary coffee, tea and a snack basket with oatmeal, popcorn, healthy snack packs, protein bars, chocolates & bottled water. A perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy nature with magnificent views of Ash Peak and Red Mountain. Also, our location is wonderful for bird watching during the day and stargazing at night. We have a propane BBQ grill with two picnic areas as well as a meadow to enjoy.

We are located in the quaint, artistic mountain town of Three Rivers. There are many restaurants, shops and activities to explore. The top rated Gateway Restaurant is a local favorite and located ¼ mile away. Breathtaking river views, delicious food, full bar and open 365 days a year serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also, The Totem Market is less than 1 mile away. The Totem is a small market with casual food, deli, BBQ, beer, wine & supplies. Perfect location to pick up goodies for your picnic basket! Both The Gateway and The Totem Market rent chains if needed.

We offer our guests convenient and private self check in. You can check yourself in using the keypad. Your personal 4 digit keypad code will be sent to you 5 days prior to your check in date. Check in time is 3:00pm. The Suite is often ready earlier and we are happy to offer an early check in when available.

We have safe and secure parking available on the property. The Suite includes one designated parking space. We can accommodate a second car next door upon request. Please inquire if needed.

Wi-Fi and phone reception can be spotty in the Sequoia National Park area. We are thrilled to have Spectrum high speed internet on our property. Phone reception is excellent when you turn on “wi-fi calling” on your cell phone.

Our guests have access to all areas of the property. The Suite has an outdoor table & chairs on the patio plus we have two picnic areas with picnic tables and a propane BBQ grill available to use. We do not live on the property but live close by and are available if you need anything! We respect the privacy of our guests.

The Sequoia Charm Suite is our upstairs suite located right on the banks of the Kaweah River, offering private balcony views of the water and unrivaled views of the night sky.

Our main house is one of two cabins in our almost 1 acre lot. You will have the main cabin to yourself.

You will get access to everything else in the property (except the tiny cabin, wood bridge between property lines to our neighbor and a locked closet in the bedroom for our storage).

The master bedroom is located on second level lofted space, it is partly enclosed with some wall separation from the living room area as well as a barn door, however the door has no lock and is on top of the staircase, please supervise young children if staying in master bedroom.

Our home is located in a mountain abundant with wild life. There will be leaves that constantly fall off trees, there will be spiders making their magical webs after we just dusted it off, there will be constant reminders of nature’s wonders. You will encounter lots of variety of birds, crickets, moth, lizards, critters, deer, bears and even snakes. Do not leave any food in your vehicle or outdoor areas, always keep your vehicle closed. Please attend to your children and do not allow to wander, there could be poison oak on the deep part of our property. We have giant boulders that are fun to climb on, but it is also a risk for falls as some are steep.

VERY IMPORTANT *We don’t offer refunds for weather, park closures, changes in travel itinerary, illness or mismanaged expectations. There shall be no refunds of rents for shortened stays due to family emergencies or change of # of guests attending. Power outages and internet provider being down are beyond our control and no refund policy will apply. Enjoy a stay on our 380 acre private ranch that shares a property line with Sequoia National Park. The ranch is located just minutes away from the park entrance!

The ranch has plenty of private outdoor space to explore including over a mile of the Kaweah River, one of the only deep water swimming areas around, ponds, and a 60ft waterfall. Our property is great for the hiking, bird watching, swimming, or fishing enthusiast! A map of the land and its features will be provided upon arrival.

The Cabin:
The cabin has a delightful interior that blends rustic charm with modern day comfort. The open living space features comfortable seating and multiple windows that let in plenty of natural light while the kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, utensils, and stainless-steel appliances. There is no need to overpack for a stay at Sequoia Moonlight Ridge as our cabin has a laundry room complete with a washer and dryer for your convenience.

After a day of exploring the ranch or hiking in Sequoia National Park, kick back and relax. Enjoy the views directly from the cabin porch and be on the lookout for some amazing wildlife sightings!

Guest Access:
You will have access to this private cabin and the 380 acres of private land shared only between our 5 cabins.
As a guest of the ranch, we will provide you with directions to the cabin ahead of your stay. We recommend downloading Google map directions ahead of time due to AT&T being the only cellular service available. The cabins do have complimentary Wi-Fi for use during your stay.

With an hour or more of notice our co-host, Kori, can meet you at the ranch entrance to answer any questions or help point you in the direction of your cabin.

Other Things to Note:
The ranch is made up of 380 acres of private land reserved for use by only our cabin guests (5 total cabins). Cabins are located on unpaved roads within the ranch property. There is Wi-Fi in the cabin with cellular service available (AT&T only). We hope you encounter some of the amazing wildlife during your stay, we ask that you please keep all food contained within the cabin.

Although the ranch shares a property line with Sequoia National Park, the gates are about a 15-minute drive away. Be sure to reference the trail map for our favorite hikes within the private ranch and suggestions for other loved trails within the national park. During your park visit you can expect to see some of the world’s largest trees and maybe even some of the native wildlife. We have plenty of other recommendations we can’t wait to share including dining, grocers, activities, and other entertainment near Three Rivers. While the views were amazing, and the cabin was quaint… the ride up was pretty challenging for we city folk. The cabin was not well stocked for the price…no sink in bathroom - brushing my teeth in the kitchen sink was a little too rustic for me. No towels in kitchen yet we were asked to wash and dry dishes we used so had to use bath towel. AC was minimal and our 2nd night I had trouble sleeping most of the night. My least favorite part was the fact that we lost power every morning and I had to get ready in the dark. Communication was challenging because we had no cell service when the power was out. Finally comma before were very stressful as we were traveling with no service and I was not provided the directions readily and we had to delay our departure for the cabin until we got the directions. Don't feed the animals, they are wild. But do enjoy the deer, fox, bob cat, duck, blue heron and may other birds. The ranch has 40 acres with cabins and 340 acres of natural open space.

NEW! Retro Casita on the River! The Retro Casita is the perfect place to relax on the River. It's a private remodeled Casita / Studio with a full bath, full kitchen, and also an auxillary game room to lounge along the river with spectacular views of the river. The size of the Main Fork of the Kaweah River is so large you can enjoy swimming on those hot summer days or fishing. It has a smart TV, BBQ, arcades, WIFI, foosball, and much more. This home is the ultimate Retro River Casita with big windows over looking all the glorious landscaping views. This home sits on 1 acres with a beautiful walkway all around. Upon entering the home, you will be greeted by beautiful details all over that can only be found in this home. All furnishings are all new, which set that "mountain modern" vibe for this home in the woods. All spaces have been curated with modern furniture, creating a calm and relaxing environment to sleep that stress away.

THE RIVER
The Main Fork Kaweah River is beautiful all year round. Like all natural rivers, the Rivers has high seasons and low. In the spring and early summer, it is high and fast moving. As summer wanes, the river slows and lowers but never completely dies up. We are fortunate to have water year round so you will always enjoy the soothing sounds of the river. Children must be chaperone at all times, especially near the river. Please be cautious of current, especially during winter and early spring.

AROUND::
The Sequoias and surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains are some of the best that California has to offer. Centrally located, the house is about twenty minutes drive to the main entrance to Sequoia National Park station and both Slick Rock recreation areas and King’s Canyon National Park, and just a 10 minutes from Three Rivers town restaurants and shops. A nature lovers paradise, there are plenty of areas to hike, bike, fish, and swim; and during the summer months, world-class white-water rafting and kayaking. Lake Kaweah, surrounded by the golden hills of California’s lower Sierra Nevada mountains, is just five miles downstream and a hot spot for boating and fishing.

Wildlife Safety: Three Rivers is a natural area and many animals live here, including snakes, deer, and black bears. Please keep an eye on kids while at the house, close doors as you come and go, and don’t leave food and drink outside. This will attract animals to the property.

Septic Waste: This home is on a septic waste system, which only takes toilet paper and natural waste. Please don’t flush anything else down the toilet. We unfortunately have to bill guests for damages from mis-use.

Rustic family cabin located in Wilsonia, near Grant Grove, in King's Canyon National Park. This cabin, while small, has everything you need while you explore the Park. There is a large porch with plenty of room for stargazing, animal watching, etc. There are two bedrooms in this cabin, one with a king bed and it's own woodstove. The second with a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. There is a fireplace in the main living room with a large dining room table to enjoy meals. games, etc.

PLEASE NOTE! This cabin is rented based on weather and snowfall amounts. Welcome to the Knotty Cabin! This is a unique opportunity to stay in a privately-owned cabin in the Grant Grove section of Kings Canyon National Park. The historical community of Wilsonia was established in 1918 and is just minutes away from the General Grant Tree.

The Knotty Cabin was built in 1923. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was recently updated with many modern conveniences while retaining its rustic, historical feel. Step back in time and enjoy the slow pace of cabin life.

Our cabin features central heating, easily controlled with a Nest thermostat, so you can stay warm and cozy no matter the cold weather outside.

During the winter season (October-May), snow is common, so be sure to carry chains. If the driveway gets snowed in, feel free to park in the lot just past the cabin on Park Road. Please back in perpendicular and leave your phone number in case the snowplow needs to contact you.

Wilsonia doesn’t have trash service during the winter months (late October - early May). We kindly ask that you take your trash with you when you depart. You can drop it off at the dumpsters located in the Azalea Campground or the Big Stump parking lot or in the trash cans at the Grant Grove Visitors Center.
