At first my girlfriend and were confused because it was a house and we had originally thought it was a hotel, because we booked on Expedia. Upon speaking about it, we decided to stay here because the pricing was fair. You'll find really great reviews and they aren't lying. The property was cleaner than any hotel I've stayed in. There is transportation to and from the concert venue we had booked for, and Rene the property manager bartended for us. By the end of the night our "roommates" and Rene felt more like longtime friends than people we had just met. The facilities are spotless inside and out. The backyard is converted into a little slice of heaven with great places for a photo op with your friends and family. The cabin is located inside the park, just a couple minutes' drive from the South entrance. It is part of a small subdivision of about less than a dozen houses, mostly private vacation properties and family residences. The feel is more local than touristy; buildings are well spaced apart along the mountainside so as not to spoil the view. The cabin living/dining room windows offer stunning views of the surrounding mountain range.
The best swimming spot on Kaweah River is just a few minutes' walk away. A 30 minute drive brings you to the high mountain sierra Sequoia Grove. Crystal Cave and Mineral King are also within driving distance.

The cabin features a full kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator, cooking utensils and dining ware, and an outdoor barbecue area with grill, garden dining table and chairs.

The private Lakemont Pines Lake is OPEN, has a sandy beach area, lifeguard, kayaks, playground, pedal boats, horseshoes, and events in summer for children. You can bring your own kayaks or SUP's, borrow them from "The Stuff Shed" at the lake, during the summers, or rent them at the SNAC Store in Arnold, which is a short 1/2 mile away.

Our yurt has comfortable furnishings such as a queen bed with linens, a propane free standing stove, electric lighting, 32' flat screen HD tv, fully equipped kitchen (including oven, microwave, refrigerator, plates, pots, etc.) and a bathroom with a shower. There are several fans (overhead and free standing oscillating) along with a window air conditioner unit. The floors are polished pine wood with French doors that open to a deck with meadow and forested views.

Away from the city lights, yet just a few miles from downtown Grass Valley and Downtown Nevada City is the Bear Den BnB. We are nestled in a wooded three acre parcel. Our BnB is right in the heart of the Gold Country with many Historic places to visit. Snow skiing resorts are just an hour away. There are many lakes where you can enjoy water sports and hiking. You will find a book in your room that has listed many hiking trails complete with trailhead, mileage elevation and points of interest. If you are into wine tasting there are lots of wineries to explore.
The room is decorated in Black Bear upscale décor with private entrance. You will enjoy a private bathroom, microwave, refrigerator, free Wi-Fi, internet TV, coffee, tea, hot coco or cappuccino in the room. The room has a new queen sized bed, vanity with bench, rocker recliner, full length mirror, ceiling fan, heating /air conditioning and private access to our sunroom with pool table.
Also to anyone who has cell phones, pads/tablets and PCs, are you always searching for an outlet to plug your devices into for charging. The three end tables in the Bear Den each have a charging station with two 110 volt outlets and two USB ports. That provides you with a total of six 110 volt outlets and six USB ports! No scrounging around on your knees looking for a place to plug into— it’s all right there and easily accessible.
Outside amenities included are: Bar-B-Q with burner, sink, fireplace, eating area, Koi pond and hot tub. Also included in your stay is a Continental Breakfast with a variety of foods to choose from. Breakfast will be served at the time that you request (between 7 & 9 AM).
Safety is very important to us, so to ensure your safety while you’re here, there is a Carbon Monoxide alarm, smoke detector, fire extinguisher, emergency light and first aid kit all located in the room. We are also sticklers for cleanliness! Fresh sheets and towels are provided for each new guest. Additional linens are always available on request.

Shoveling service is not provided mid-stay, however we do provide shovels and salt for your use if necessary. If heavy snowfall happens during your stay and additional shoveling help is necessary, please give us a call and we may be able to arrange some assistance.

The space
Quiet townhouse complex built in 2005. Close to downtown, public transport and freeway. Local big grocery market is 2 blocks from the complex. Our professional cleaning crew is onsite whenever guests check out, usually sometime between 11AM and 3PM. They will clean all the shared and common areas. If you see anything that needs cleaning please let them know, we want to keep the place sparkling clean for your comfort :-)

You have exclusive access to your bedroom and everything in it. The room door is keypad operated, the same PIN used for the main door works for your room door.

All other areas of the house are yours to enjoy - the kitchen, dining and living room. Help yourself to all amenities including HDTV with Netflix, washer and dryer in the garage etc.

Each room has a clearly labeled section in the fridge, please keep your food there. Cleaners will remove any food found outside the fridge, for everyone's comfort and to keep the place clean.

Remember to put garage remote back on the kitchen counter before you leave.

Our garage has two parking spots. When you arrive to the house, please go inside and look for garage remotes on the kitchen counter. There are two, one for each spot in the garage. If you find a remote, please keep it with you until check out. Remote guarantees your parking spot will be available when you come back to the house. If you do not find a remote please do not park in the garage because it's already used by other guests. In that case park on the street outside the complex. Make sure to not park in red zone or within 20 feet from a hydrant.

Please do not block our neighbors' driveways, do not double park (blocking other cars), do not park on the driveway in front of the garage and do not park in the guest parking spots inside the complex. Complex management company will call a tow truck if you leave your car parked incorrectly.
