Ten minutes away on Route 2 in Randolph you can park at the Appalachia Trailhead where an easy hike brings you to Gordon Falls and then continue up the trails for more falls. Also just down the road is the Pond of Safety, accessible only by 4 wheel drive. After a day of hiking, snowmobiling, or running after the kids at Santa’s Village, wind down by soaking in the hot tub while watching the sunset on Mt Washington or head to the Copper Pig Brewery just 14 minutes away in Lancaster.

Fantastic place to escape into the woods, with panoramic views, closest house is a 1/2 mile away.

Almost new Log Cabin, just finished in 2017 on 34 acres with 1200 ft driveway provides privacy and fantastic views of Cherry Pond and from Mt Waumbek to Vermont. The Property abuts the White Mountain National Forest and you can hike out the top of the property to Owls Head and Mt Martha which is about 3.0 miles one way and 1600 ft of elevation change. Owls Head offers fantastic views of the entire presidential range.

The 1st floor bedroom has a queen bed, and the living area has a full size sleeper sofa. All mattresses are new memory foam mattresses. There is a storage loft that is accessed by a ladder, not stairs, so it is not appropriate for children under 5 or people unable to climb a ladder. The Cabin is off the electric grid with solar panels and batteries. One full bathroom with shower and an outdoor shower. My cleaner is phenomenal and the cabin is sanitized every time after each guest.

Fantastic covered screened in porch to enjoy the views and there is a Pavilion covering the fire pit area with picnic table that also has fantastic views. Cell phone reception is very good with Verizon and there is 4G and LTE service. The cabin does not have WIFI or a TV, dishwasher, or laundry. It is meant as a getaway and to get unplugged. During the day, the view is incredible and at night the stars are amazing with almost no light pollution.

Restaurants and towns are at least 15 minutes away on some of the most scenic roads in New England. Lancaster is 15 minutes, Bretton Woods is 15 min, Bethlehem is 20 min, Gorham is 21 min, and Littleton is 27 minutes. The journey is half the fun with many view points and activities outside of towns.

In the winter season, it is recommended to have AWD or 4WD vehicles as the driveway is about 1200 ft long uphill with a 10% slope.

Since I like to use the cabin a lot myself throughout the year, no monthly or seasonal rental is possible.

The spacious interior of our architect-designed, executive-quality residence is exceptional, with a double-story great room, floating stairway, striking double-chimney Russian fireplace, jetted tub in the master bath, and two-person indoor sauna. A private retreat any time of year, The Bray Hill House is situated just 30 minutes away from both the hip town of Littleton with plentiful dining options, a covered bridge and shops to explore, and the quaint village of Bethlehem with art galleries, a movie theater and performing arts center. Dozens of other activities like farmers markets, summer band concerts, farm-to-table restaurants and historic attractions are nearby. Several micro-breweries are a 15- 30 minute drive. The house lends itself to leisurely walks on the property’s trails along old stone walls, morning coffee on the deck, snuggling in front of the Russian fireplace on chilly evenings, and relaxing in the two-person indoor sauna or master bath jetted tub. Step onto the private enclosed porch off the master bedroom to look at the stars before turning in for the night.

DOG FRIENDLY!
Fido and Flossie deserve a vacation, too! Our home welcomes dogs and we provide all the necessities so you don’t have to pack them, including an extra-large dog bed, along with dog towels for wiping paws, food and water dishes, and poop bags. Dogs are welcome to go off-leash on our property if they will stay nearby. The Pondicherry Wildlife Reserve (20 minutes) and Mud Pond (5 minutes) have easy-to-walk trails with lots of new smells for your pooch to explore (on leash) and lots of birds and other wildlife for you to enjoy.

The Bray Hill House was custom-built to take advantage of its spectacular mountain setting, with impressive views of three mountain ranges and the Mount Washington and Connecticut River Valleys, and overlooking the small town of Jefferson. Our home’s prime location in the heart of the White Mountains of northern New Hampshire gives our guests easy access to all of the region’s many activities and attractions.

Country contemporary with a stylish vibe in a secluded and private location, this is a light, open, playful but functional home with sophisticated touches, like the unusual lilac-colored stair and balcony railings, floating staircase, and awesome double chimney fireplace. The Bowman Inn is located in the Town of Randolph, NH surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest and Randolph Community Forest with incredible views of Mt Jefferson, Mt Adams and Mt. Madison only about 4 - 5 miles to the summits. Everyone that has stayed at the Inn says that the pictures don't do the views and Inn justice.

The Main House is 5,800 sf +/- and has 8 Bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom ensuite, 5 King and 3 Queen rooms with minisplit AC and heat controls in each room, 3 bedrooms are on the 1st floor and 5 on the 2nd floor.

There is also a 2nd building on the property called the Carriage House, that is 2,300 sf +/-, which has 3 additional ground floor accessible bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queen) each with its own bathroom and 1 bedroom studio apartment on the second floor with a King Bed. The Carriage House combined with the 8 bedrooms in the Main House for a total of 12 bedrooms/13.5 Bathrooms and up to 30 total Guests

The common rooms are great for big groups to get together in the large living room with wet bar, player piano, stereo, and big TV, or sun room with stunning views and the formal dining room that seats 20+. The spacious kitchen has been recently updated and has 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers, 2 Refrigerators, double wall ovens, convection/microwave oven and a large 5 burner stove. There is a table that seats 8 in the kitchen and it is a great place to gather and make meals for everyone.

The pricing on this listing is for the 12 Bedrooms/13.5 Bathrooms. If you only want to rent the 8 BR Main House, please contact me, then there may be other guests in the Carriage House. This option is only available during off peak times and close to arrival time.

The large garage can be used to store your gear and toys, if needed. There is lots of room to store your winter/summer gear in a huge closet right by the rear entry to the house, great for ski and hiking boots.

Outside, there is a heated inground pool from mid May thru September and a brand new hot tub installed in September of 2025 and in the pool area there is a wet bar in the pool house and a separate full bathroom for the pool area, a large outside dining area with grill, firepit, and outdoor play area with corn hole, swings for little ones. You can hike the white mountains and bike the presidential rail trail, a 20+ mile long bike trail directly from the property without getting in a car! The property has been updated and is the perfect place for a family reunion, small wedding, yoga retreat, corporate function, or gathering of friends for hiking, biking, skiing, snow mobiles and much more. The Main House has lots of books, toys and games to play while you are there for the big and little kids.

If you are interested in having the Inn be your small wedding/event location, a one week rental of the entire place is required and there will be additional fees for cleaning, We are not wedding/event planners, you will have to contract with caterers, etc... Message me to discuss your needs. The function can only be for guests staying at the inn, max 27 people.

There is a caretaker who maintains the pool and hot tub daily as well as the grounds, and who can respond to questions or solve problems. The owner is also available by phone to solve any issues.

I could (and will) go on and on about the functionality of the house, but I would be remiss to not first talk about THE VIEW. The view from this house is simply breathtaking - a 180 degree western view of the valley and multiple mountain ranges beyond. The sunset was stunning! We spent as much time on the balcony as possible (in the large and easy-to-use jacuzzi or enjoying dinner at the bar-height outdoor furniture), though the view could be enjoyed from just about any room of the house thanks to the huge windows that stretched up to the two-story open concept great room. Once we stopped gawking at the view, we realized that we had lucked into a home with so much functionality. Each bedside table had built-in plugs and USB ports which was great for phones, noise machines, baby monitors, etc. There was a basket full of koozies for your jacuzzi drinks, and a basket full of towels to use post-soak. A coffee machine that had both a pot and Keurig. Washer and dryer in the mudroom so you could strip off the germy Santa's Village clothes and towels and throw them right into the wash. A/C units in the great room and loft (though we never needed to use them with the summer breeze wafting in through the screened sliding door). A sweet stuffed black bear that delighted our kids on the landing of the loft stairs. I ran out of room! Couldn't recommend this home more!"

Welcome to the Pliny Range Retreat! This spacious log home is the perfect private getaway in prime location. Enjoy our large deck with gas grill and beautiful mountain views. Located close to Santas Village. Our home is very family friendly and is close to skiing, golf and other outdoor activities. After a long day of adventures you can relax in the hot tub! Our spacious and open log cabin offers 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms with plenty of sunlight and windows overlooking The Pliny Range. Its 5 minutes from Santas village and under 20 minutes to many hiking trails, ski resorts and restaurants. If you need more to do Story land and North Conway are under an hour away.

High speed internet is perfect for work/video games.

The master suite is located on the first floor and features a den, sunroom and half bath. You will sleep perfect in the new memory foam queen bed. The home office situated in the den is complete with monitor, mouse, keyboard and wires. Just hook up your laptop and go to work! The sunroom has a small table and chairs and would be the perfect place for your morning coffee.

The other bedrooms are located upstairs. There are 2 full beds, day bed and couch. Ideal for a second family or kids. There is a smart tv with an hdmi ready for gaming consoles.

The open living area features a 6 person table, living room, kitchen with dishwasher, stove, fridge and all the utensils to cook a perfect meal. The living room has a leather sofa and chaise and smart tv ready to sign into your favorite streaming apps. Just off the kitchen there is the coffee/wine bar with electric tea kettle. We provide a small variety of k cups, sugar, sweet and lows and tea bags and waters in the fridge. We have plenty of board games and cards for rainy day fun!

The huge wrap around deck boasts many sitting areas with scenic views. It has a gas grill and outdoor couch and table. The deck is completed by a privately situated 4 person hot tub that was newly installed in April 2023. Its the perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine.

The children wont be bored here! There is a game room that has so much to do. Dart board, putting green, pool table and Ms. Pacman arcade game! If you want to relax you can sit on the couch and play video games or watch a movie on the 55 inch smart tv.

The house is in a good location with easy (less than 20 minutes) drive to many hiking trails, stores and Mt. Washington. Tip: enjoy a cocktail on the porch of the Mt. Washington Omni. You can bring your dog! The street out in front is a bit busy, but with the big backyard to play in and have our dog roam, it really wasn’t a problem. Joe was an excellent host. Very attentive and readily responded to any questions we had. Would recommend this rental 100%"

- "6 adults, 3 kids (5, 2, 2) - 2 nights up to visit story land and Santa’s village. The home isn’t fancy but it’s perfect for what you need - a place to rest after a long day in the park. Bedding was super comfy. Everyone had their own room - plenty of space to lounge around. Nice kitchen with everything you need. Plenty of full bathrooms. We used the fire pit both nights and I was in love with the view from the deck. That was the best. Host was also friendly and responsive, answering all the little questions I had. My very minor one note or consideration for future guests - if you have little ones like we did a baby gate would help to block off the stairs to the basement. They’re a bit precarious. Overall great trip. We’d stay here again for our next trip to SV!"
