Ten minutes away on Route 2 in Randolph you can park at the Appalachia Trailhead where an easy hike brings you to Gordon Falls and then continue up the trails for more falls. Also just down the road is the Pond of Safety, accessible only by 4 wheel drive. After a day of hiking, snowmobiling, or running after the kids at Santa’s Village, wind down by soaking in the hot tub while watching the sunset on Mt Washington or head to the Copper Pig Brewery just 14 minutes away in Lancaster.

Fantastic place to escape into the woods, with panoramic views, closest house is a 1/2 mile away.

Almost new Log Cabin, just finished in 2017 on 34 acres with 1200 ft driveway provides privacy and fantastic views of Cherry Pond and from Mt Waumbek to Vermont. The Property abuts the White Mountain National Forest and you can hike out the top of the property to Owls Head and Mt Martha which is about 3.0 miles one way and 1600 ft of elevation change. Owls Head offers fantastic views of the entire presidential range.

The 1st floor bedroom has a queen bed, and the living area has a full size sleeper sofa. All mattresses are new memory foam mattresses. There is a storage loft that is accessed by a ladder, not stairs, so it is not appropriate for children under 5 or people unable to climb a ladder. The Cabin is off the electric grid with solar panels and batteries. One full bathroom with shower and an outdoor shower. My cleaner is phenomenal and the cabin is sanitized every time after each guest.

Fantastic covered screened in porch to enjoy the views and there is a Pavilion covering the fire pit area with picnic table that also has fantastic views. Cell phone reception is very good with Verizon and there is 4G and LTE service. The cabin does not have WIFI or a TV, dishwasher, or laundry. It is meant as a getaway and to get unplugged. During the day, the view is incredible and at night the stars are amazing with almost no light pollution.

Restaurants and towns are at least 15 minutes away on some of the most scenic roads in New England. Lancaster is 15 minutes, Bretton Woods is 15 min, Bethlehem is 20 min, Gorham is 21 min, and Littleton is 27 minutes. The journey is half the fun with many view points and activities outside of towns.

In the winter season, it is recommended to have AWD or 4WD vehicles as the driveway is about 1200 ft long uphill with a 10% slope.

Since I like to use the cabin a lot myself throughout the year, no monthly or seasonal rental is possible.

The spacious interior of our architect-designed, executive-quality residence is exceptional, with a double-story great room, floating stairway, striking double-chimney Russian fireplace, jetted tub in the master bath, and two-person indoor sauna. A private retreat any time of year, The Bray Hill House is situated just 30 minutes away from both the hip town of Littleton with plentiful dining options, a covered bridge and shops to explore, and the quaint village of Bethlehem with art galleries, a movie theater and performing arts center. Dozens of other activities like farmers markets, summer band concerts, farm-to-table restaurants and historic attractions are nearby. Several micro-breweries are a 15- 30 minute drive. The house lends itself to leisurely walks on the property’s trails along old stone walls, morning coffee on the deck, snuggling in front of the Russian fireplace on chilly evenings, and relaxing in the two-person indoor sauna or master bath jetted tub. Step onto the private enclosed porch off the master bedroom to look at the stars before turning in for the night.

DOG FRIENDLY!
Fido and Flossie deserve a vacation, too! Our home welcomes dogs and we provide all the necessities so you don’t have to pack them, including an extra-large dog bed, along with dog towels for wiping paws, food and water dishes, and poop bags. Dogs are welcome to go off-leash on our property if they will stay nearby. The Pondicherry Wildlife Reserve (20 minutes) and Mud Pond (5 minutes) have easy-to-walk trails with lots of new smells for your pooch to explore (on leash) and lots of birds and other wildlife for you to enjoy.

The Bray Hill House was custom-built to take advantage of its spectacular mountain setting, with impressive views of three mountain ranges and the Mount Washington and Connecticut River Valleys, and overlooking the small town of Jefferson. Our home’s prime location in the heart of the White Mountains of northern New Hampshire gives our guests easy access to all of the region’s many activities and attractions.

Country contemporary with a stylish vibe in a secluded and private location, this is a light, open, playful but functional home with sophisticated touches, like the unusual lilac-colored stair and balcony railings, floating staircase, and awesome double chimney fireplace. The Bowman Inn is located in the Town of Randolph, NH surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest and Randolph Community Forest with incredible views of Mt Jefferson, Mt Adams and Mt. Madison only about 4 - 5 miles to the summits. Everyone that has stayed at the Inn says that the pictures don't do the views and Inn justice.

The Main House is 5,800 sf +/- and has 8 Bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom ensuite, 5 King and 3 Queen rooms with minisplit AC and heat controls in each room, 3 bedrooms are on the 1st floor and 5 on the 2nd floor.

There is also a 2nd building on the property called the Carriage House, that is 2,300 sf +/-, which has 3 additional ground floor accessible bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queen) each with its own bathroom and 1 bedroom studio apartment on the second floor with a King Bed. The Carriage House combined with the 8 bedrooms in the Main House for a total of 12 bedrooms/13.5 Bathrooms and up to 30 total Guests

The common rooms are great for big groups to get together in the large living room with wet bar, player piano, stereo, and big TV, or sun room with stunning views and the formal dining room that seats 20+. The spacious kitchen has been recently updated and has 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers, 2 Refrigerators, double wall ovens, convection/microwave oven and a large 5 burner stove. There is a table that seats 8 in the kitchen and it is a great place to gather and make meals for everyone.

The pricing on this listing is for the 12 Bedrooms/13.5 Bathrooms. If you only want to rent the 8 BR Main House, please contact me, then there may be other guests in the Carriage House. This option is only available during off peak times and close to arrival time.

The large garage can be used to store your gear and toys, if needed. There is lots of room to store your winter/summer gear in a huge closet right by the rear entry to the house, great for ski and hiking boots.

Outside, there is a heated inground pool from mid May thru September and a brand new hot tub installed in September of 2025 and in the pool area there is a wet bar in the pool house and a separate full bathroom for the pool area, a large outside dining area with grill, firepit, and outdoor play area with corn hole, swings for little ones. You can hike the white mountains and bike the presidential rail trail, a 20+ mile long bike trail directly from the property without getting in a car! The property has been updated and is the perfect place for a family reunion, small wedding, yoga retreat, corporate function, or gathering of friends for hiking, biking, skiing, snow mobiles and much more. The Main House has lots of books, toys and games to play while you are there for the big and little kids.

If you are interested in having the Inn be your small wedding/event location, a one week rental of the entire place is required and there will be additional fees for cleaning, We are not wedding/event planners, you will have to contract with caterers, etc... Message me to discuss your needs. The function can only be for guests staying at the inn, max 27 people.

There is a caretaker who maintains the pool and hot tub daily as well as the grounds, and who can respond to questions or solve problems. The owner is also available by phone to solve any issues.

The view from this house is simply breathtaking - a 180 degree western view of the valley and multiple mountain ranges beyond. The sunset was stunning! We spent as much time on the balcony as possible (in the large and easy-to-use jacuzzi or enjoying dinner at the bar-height outdoor furniture), though the view could be enjoyed from just about any room of the house thanks to the huge windows that stretched up to the two-story open concept great room. Once we stopped gawking at the view, we realized that we had lucked into a home with so much functionality. Each bedside table had built-in plugs and USB ports which was great for phones, noise machines, baby monitors, etc. There was a basket full of koozies for your jacuzzi drinks, and a basket full of towels to use post-soak. A coffee machine that had both a pot and Keurig. Washer and dryer in the mudroom so you could strip off the germy Santa's Village clothes and towels and throw them right into the wash. A/C units in the great room and loft (though we never needed to use them with the summer breeze wafting in through the screened sliding door). A sweet stuffed black bear that delighted our kids on the landing of the loft stairs. I ran out of room! Couldn't recommend this home more!"

Located close to Santas Village. Our home is very family friendly and is close to skiing, golf and other outdoor activities. After a long day of adventures you can relax in the hot tub! Need to work while you are here? Our home office will do the trick!

Our spacious and open log cabin offers 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms with plenty of sunlight and windows overlooking The Pliny Range. Its 5 minutes from Santas village and under 20 minutes to many hiking trails, ski resorts and restaurants. If you need more to do Story land and North Conway are under an hour away.

High speed internet is perfect for work/video games.

The master suite is located on the first floor and features a den, sunroom and half bath. You will sleep perfect in the new memory foam queen bed. The home office situated in the den is complete with monitor, mouse, keyboard and wires. Just hook up your laptop and go to work! The sunroom has a small table and chairs and would be the perfect place for your morning coffee.

The other bedrooms are located upstairs. There are 2 full beds, day bed and couch. Ideal for a second family or kids. There is a smart tv with an hdmi ready for gaming consoles.

The second story deck includes chairs and amazing views!

The open living area features a 6 person table, living room, kitchen with dishwasher, stove, fridge and all the utensils to cook a perfect meal. The living room has a leather sofa and chaise and smart tv ready to sign into your favorite streaming apps. Just off the kitchen there is the coffee/wine bar with electric tea kettle. We provide a small variety of k cups, sugar, sweet and lows and tea bags and waters in the fridge. We have plenty of board games and cards for rainy day fun!

The huge wrap around deck boasts many sitting areas with scenic views. It has a gas grill and outdoor couch and table. The deck is completed by a privately situated 4 person hot tub that was newly installed in April 2023. Its the perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine.

The children wont be bored here! There is a game room that has so much to do. Dart board, putting green, pool table and Ms. Pacman arcade game! If you want to relax you can sit on the couch and play video games or watch a movie on the 55 inch smart tv.

You can bring your dog! The street out in front is a bit busy, but with the big backyard to play in and have our dog roam, it really wasn’t a problem. Joe was an excellent host. We used the fire pit both nights and I was in love with the view from the deck. That was the best. Host was also friendly and responsive, answering all the little questions I had. My very minor one note or consideration for future guests - if you have little ones like we did a baby gate would help to block off the stairs to the basement. They’re a bit precarious. We spent time hiking as well as went to Santa’s village (15min) and Story Land (45min). Property manager was very responsive and wanted to make sure everything was set for us to have a great trip. Guests must abide by these limitations to protect the physical property and the space of neighbors. Additional vehicles must be parked in specified overflow parking areas. Trailers or RVs may not be parked at any property without permission. Excess vehicles may be towed.
-Access from parking to the front door requires climbing two steps.

Trash and Recycling
-There is a dumpster located on-site for the disposal of bagged trash.

Washington, and we were only a short drive to Mt. Waumbek for one of our hikes. There were some nice local breweries too including the Cooper Pig if that is up your alley. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, and there was a grill outside so we were able to easily cook our own meals, though we brought all of our groceries (spices, etc.) to be sure we had what we needed! Occupancy and Pets
-The total number of guests at the property must not exceed the number listed in the booking. The guest count should reflect the correct number of adults (12+), children (2+), and pets. A nightly extra guest fee may apply for guests above the standard occupancy up to the maximum number of allowable guests.
-Dogs are allowed (5 max), any other types of animals require approval. All pets except for Service Animals are subject to a Pet Fee per pet.
-Dogs should not be left unattended in units if there is potential for them to bark and disturb neighbors or damage the property.
-Respectful Noise Levels: Let's keep the peace! Keep the volume down so all can enjoy their time here. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.

--Your unit will be stocked with a starter set of consumables including toilet paper, paper towels, a sponge, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, coffee filters, etc. Additional supplies should be provided by the guest.
-This unit does not provide live television. Guests can sign into Roku with their personal accounts during their stay.
-There are 5 remote-controlled AC mini splits; one in each bedroom, the kitchen, and living room..
-The main-level has a gas stove; wood is not needed.
-This unit has a propane grill; propane is supplied.
-This unit has a fire pit. Firewood is not provided but can be purchased on our website and conveniently delivered to your rental or purchased from other local vendors. Impress your family and friends with breakfast bundles, charcuterie boards, and other local products, also available for delivery!
-No Unauthorized Fires: State and Local Laws regulate the use of fire pits, grills, other open flames, and fireworks. Only use provided grills and fireplaces; permits are required to use fire pits in NH.

Driving Access, Parking, and Entryway
-Remember this area is home to many residents and children. Please follow posted speed limits and drive carefully for the safety of our community.
-Parking is limited to 4 CARS.
-Each property has parking limits based on capacity and/or potential rules of the Homeowner's Association. Guests must abide by these limitations to protect the physical property and the space of neighbors. Additional vehicles must be parked in specified overflow parking areas. Trailers or RVs may not be parked at any property without permission. Excess vehicles may be towed.
-Access from parking to the front door requires climbing 3 steps.

Trash and Recycling
-Bagged trash and recycling will be collected after your departure.

-Some of our homes are equipped with exterior cameras for security purposes. This home has four Ring cameras, one in each corner of the house exterior, and a trail cam in the lower yard. No cameras show the hot tub!
-Rural homes may encounter pests like bears, mice, lady beetles, and wasps. To minimize this, we ask that trash not be left outside. We actively manage these situations while prioritizing environmentally friendly methods and limiting the use of chemicals.
-Cancellation policies are followed to ensure fairness to all guests and owners. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance as exceptions cannot be made.

The spacious cabin offers 3 levels of living, perfect for large groups or families. Enter through the 2 car garage into the walkout basement level, where you'll find a large entry way for coats and boots. There are two bedrooms on this level- the first has a queen bed and an attached full bathroom. The second features a full-over-full bunk bed with arcade style games (a hit with the kids!) the main level offers a stunning kitchen with top end appliances including a double oven and a wine fridge. The living room is a large, open concept space with mountain facing windows and sliding door access to a huge private deck, and a full sized pool table. There is a full bathroom on this level, along with a queen bedroom. The top floor has a master bedroom with a king bed and a large attached bathroom. The 4th bedroom has two twin beds with trundles, and a full sized bed. There is access to the master bathroom from this bedroom, although it can be locked from the king side for added privacy

VACATION HOUSE RULES AND RENTAL AGREEMENT

Please be sure to read this rental agreement in full. By clicking “Book Now” you are acknowledging and agreeing to terms and conditions of the “vacation property.”

RENTAL TERMS/COSTS: Total guests not to exceed 12 people. Rental period begins at 4pm on date of check-in and ends at 10 am on date of check-out.

PARTIES/NOISE: Absolutely NO PARTIES. The vacation rental is not suitable for people looking for a party house. This is a family neighborhood and guests should keep noise at a respectable level at all times. Quiet hours of 10 PM to 7 AM are strictly enforced. Guests will be asked to vacate the property immediately if any complaints are made in reference to a party or excessive noise in the home. We have the utmost respect for our neighbors, and we are committed to providing a great rental experience for guests without compromising their ability to enjoy their homes.

PARKING: Parking is STRICTLY limited to 4 cars, and 2 cars must be in the garage. If there are more than 2 cars parked in the driveway, you will be asked to move them immediately.

NO FIREWORKS AT ANY TIME

SMOKING: Absolutely NO SMOKING is allowed inside the cabin.

CHECK OUT PROCEDURE: Check-out is at 10 am. Guests are expected to follow the check-out procedure. Additional fees may be charged if the check-out time or procedure is not followed by guests.

SEPTIC: Our home is on a septic system. Please do not flush sanitary items or wipes down the toilet. Do not put coffee grinds or kitchen grease down the sink drain.

WEATHER: No refunds are given due to inclement weather or loss of power caused by storms.

INDEMNIFICATION & HOLD HARMLESS; ASSUMPTION OF RISK. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless your Host, North Woods Vacation Rentals LLC, and the homeowner, for any liabilities, damage, cost or expense whatsoever arising from or related to any claim in connection with your use and/or occupancy of the Vacation Rental, including, but not limited to, any claim or liability for personal injury, damage, fines, penalties, loss of personal belongings, or theft of property, which is made, incurred, or sustained by you and/or anyone using the Vacation Rental during your stay. You and anyone using the Vacation Rental during your stay accepts and assumes all risks involved in or related to the use of third-party transportation vendors, the pool/hot tub, activities participated in while on the premises, or amenities provided at the property, as applicable.

GENERAL TERMS. If any section, clause, paragraph, or term of the Rental Agreement is held or determined to be void, invalid, or unenforceable for any reason, all other terms, clauses, or paragraphs herein shall be severed and remain in force and effect. This Agreement shall be binding on and inure to the benefit of the parties hereto and on each of their heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assignees.

We want our guests to enjoy our home to the fullest, and for the safety of guests, our home and neighbors, you are expected to follow our house rules and check-out procedure. If it is discovered that any house rules are not followed, guests may be asked to vacate the property and will forfeit all monies paid (including any unused nightly rental fees and deposits).

This Agreement is between the owner of the Vacation Rental (your “Host”), and the individual completing this booking transaction for the Vacation Rental (“you” or “Guest”). You agree that you will be responsible for the actions and behavior of each individual present at the Vacation Rental during your stay. This includes ensuring each individual in your party or otherwise present at the Vacation Rental is aware of and in compliance with the terms identified in this Agreement.

The Guests agree to the terms of this Short Term Rental Agreement, as evidenced by payment and the acceptance of the booking agreement through the direct booking, VRBO or Airbnb platform.

- "I have stayed at a lot of properties and this was one of the easiest in terms of house rules etc. It also has the best kitchen for a big group, so much counter space. The kids loves the games in the basement and pool was a hit. Owner was responsive. Would highly recommend." - "Home is beautiful, clean, and great location. Check in/checkout process was simple. Home was equip with many things to keep kids happy. Game room, pool table, large deck and yard, and TVs in the bedrooms. Plenty of space for all of us (husband and 6 kids) to stay comfortable. My only complaint was the glade plug ins which were very strong, I removed them and owner of the property was very responsive and apologetic. Cleaning company had tried to give the home a nice smell, but was just too strong for us. It resolved fairly quickly after unplugging and airing out. We choose homes that are NOT pet friendly for severe allergy reasons, so my advice to home owners is to be very cautious with strong perfumes used for cleaning. Otherwise everything was great and I would stay here again. Thanks for sharing your home with us! "

- "Very big place to fit out of town family for the holidays! Enough room to all eat together!" - "We are a group of seven couples and it is an annual tradition to rent a home in October to get away and enjoy the foliage. This is by far one of the best homes we have stayed at!! Five rooms had their own private bath and 2 couples had to share a bathroom. The dining room had seating for 24 people. The views of the mountains and the foliage were spectacular!! Large windows in the living room & sunroom area and the sun shines right in! Big fire pit out back with benches and chairs. A nice deck with a patio table also out back. I would recommend this to any large group!"

3,000 sq ft loft on the top floor of a modernized barn, has all amenities needed for a relaxing vacation. Perfectly situated in secluded outskirts Lancaster, NH, this vacation home away from home is moments away from prime skiing and hiking locations. The loft is on a 60 acre farm with dairy goats (who get their own barn!), a garden, and a 2 mile trail around the property for hiking, snowshoeing or skiing,

There is one bedroom with a queen bed, one loft with a queen bed inflatable mattress and one double bed in the living room open space. The full bathroom is located inside the first bedroom. If needed, the couch can be converted into a full bed. On the deck there is a BBQ grill and inside is a wood stove (wood provided). Are you ready to kick off your shoes & relax? A glass of wine on the 3 season screened porch, listen to and watch the birds, or sit by the firepit or electric fireplace? The yard offers berries, lilac & crab apple trees, & stone walls that attract year round wildlife for you to view. Our place is located off a main road yet sits back a level 235 foot driveway with mature trees. Minutes to the Mountain View Grand Spa, Mud Pond Trail, Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge, Waumbeck Golf Course, Santa's Village!
From the main level you will have access to all amenities, including a master bedroom with private bath, the kitchen, dining room, living room and an electric fireplace, tv and Roku live streaming, an additional main bathroom and laundry set up. From the living room there is a slider door to the screened porch 'with colorful night lights' and open deck with grilling and dining area.

On the lower level there are 2 additional spacious bedrooms with cedar ceiling closets, a den room with a tv with Roku live streaming, dvd's and a box of board games, puzzles and books. A great space for reading, watching dvd's, playing games or just hanging out! The kitchen is fully equipped and has new appliances and an island with stools just across from the dining room. The living room has 2 leather couches and a cozy ambiance and comfortable setting. Some natural plants and local artists frames to set the tone.

This is a spacious place where you can enjoy the White Mountain outdoors recreation within close proximity to many attractions. The wildlife viewing from the back windows and yard is abundant in deer, birds, turkeys, fox, moose and bears along with smaller critters! We have seen as many as 25 deer pass through at the same time and 26 turkeys hanging out under the crab apple trees! The fox do sometimes set off the motion detector lights and sit and play under them at night, if you care to get up and peak out the windows. Enjoy starry nights by the fire pit and you may see the fireflies lighting up the back yard in the night! Only one neighbor is visible from the house with a comfortable set back.

According to online mapping this home is about 2.3 miles to the Mountain View Grand Spa, 5.4 miles to Santa's Village, 8.4 miles to Waumbeck Golf Course, 8.5 miles to Fort Jefferson, 5.6 miles to Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge, 17.4 miles to Bretton Woods. The nearest grocery store is about 3.5 miles away (Mac's Market). Littleton and Bethlehem are nearby for shopping and local restaurants. Please check these on your gps as time may differ from distance to time to get where you are going.

Come have fun or put your feet up and relax and enjoy the mountain air. This home is a nice place to hang out and reflect while having plenty of space to find your favorite spot and still have all the modern needs! This home has town water and is tested.

*Overall, this is a pretty quiet and peaceful place and currently the town is installing new water main lines along Rt 116 to residences beginning July 2018. There may be temporary construction traffic on the road during the summer thru fall months. So far this has been very minor as of August. Route 116 is being considered as a Scenic Byway of NH.

Other things to note
The wildlife comes to feed on the natural resources available and we love seeing them and sharing the experience. We do not encourage feeding them or leaving food scraps or rubbish bags outside, as we do not want them to become accustomed to humans. It endangers their lives as they no longer would fear hunters. It only takes one feeding to create a problem. Rubbish storage is provided indoors. We are aware that we are not the only ones picking the berries in the summer and in the winter see deer, fox and turkey tracks right up the front steps!

This country home, known as “Crosstown”, is located on a 1/2 acre lot in Jefferson NH. Convenient to Rt 2, you can be at Santa's Village in 5 minutes. Lancaster, Gorham, Littleton, Story Land, etc are a quick drive as well.
This home has been rented since 2013 and is once again available.
Home is fully stocked, and decorated in a Christmas theme to get you in the mood for Santa's Village! Pets are accepted for a $75 pet fee.

Our home has some of the most beautiful, serene settings you’ll find in our area. But due to the untouched nature around us, you may find some flies or lady bugs during your stay. We do our best to keep these pests away, but if you happen to spot a few, please note it does not indicate a lack of cleanliness on our part and does not justify a refund or discount on your stay.

Guests can access the entire house aside from a storage room in the basement that is kept locked and noted not to enter.

Other things to note
If you are traveling with a dog, we must be informed at the time of booking and prior to your arrival. There is a maximum of 1 dog up to 50lb per stay and a $125 pet fee. This does not cover any damage or yard clean up. Please do your best to pick up after your dog in the yard. All dogs must be house trained. Any other unauthorized dogs will result in a $500 fine. We do not allow cats due to guest allergies.

There are a vast variety of wildlife and all have a keen sense of smell and can smell any food or marshmallows left outside or near the fire pit. This goes for any trash left outside or food left on the grille. To avoid any unwanted visits from our local bears, please be sure no food is left outside and all trash goes into our trash bin outside located near the garage.

NO Smoking inside the home, on the outside deck or within 100 feet of the house. You may smoke by the fire pit which will have a cigarette receptacle. If we find any evidence of smoking, we will terminate your reservation and charge a $500 fine.

If you are traveling during the winter season -we do not give refunds for weather that is outside of our control.

Welcome to the Pliny Range Retreat! This spacious log home is the perfect private getaway in prime location. Enjoy our large deck with gas grill and beautiful mountain views. Located close to Santas Village. Our home is very family friendly and is close to skiing, golf (Waumbek Golf Course opening Summer 2024) and other outdoor activities. After a long day of adventures, you can relax in the brand new hot tub (April 2023)! Need to work while you are here? Our home office will do the trick!

The space
Our spacious and open log cabin offers 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms with plenty of sunlight and windows overlooking The Pliny Range.

Its 5 minutes from Santas village and Waumbek Golf Course, and under 20 minutes to many hiking trails, ski resorts and restaurants. Bretton Woods is a scenic 25 minutes away! If you need more to do, Story land and North Conway are under an hour away.

High speed internet is perfect for work/video games.

A.c will be available from early June through September 1st.

The master suite is located on the first floor and features a den, sunroom and half bath. You will sleep perfect in the new memory foam queen bed. The home office situated in the den is complete with monitor, mouse, keyboard and wires. Just hook up your laptop and go to work! The sunroom has a small table and chairs and would be the perfect place for your morning coffee.

The other bedrooms are located upstairs. There are 2 full beds, day bed and couch. Ideal for a second family or kids. There is a smart tv with an hdmi ready for gaming consoles.

The second story deck includes chairs and amazing views!

The open living area features a 6 person table, living room, kitchen with dishwasher, stove, fridge and all the utensils to cook a perfect meal. The living room has a leather sofa and chaise and smart tv ready to sign into your favorite streaming apps. Just off the kitchen there is the coffee/wine bar with electric tea kettle. We provide a small variety of k cups, sugar, sweet and lows and tea bags and waters in the fridge. We have plenty of board games and cards for rainy day fun!

The huge wrap around deck boasts many sitting areas with scenic views. It has a gas grill and outdoor couch and table. The deck is completed by a privately situated hot tub. Its the perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine.

The children wont be bored here! There is a game room that has so much to do. Dart board, putting green, pool table and Ms. Pacman arcade game! If you want to relax you can sit on the couch and play video games or watch a movie on the 55 inch smart tv.

This three-story home enjoys a serene woodland setting, which requires all wheel drive in winter and plenty of parking for trailers carrying your snowmobiles and ATVs. It's an epicenter for skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing in the colder months, as well as hiking, fishing, and swimming come summer. So much is within easy day-tripping distance, including Bretton Woods Ski Area (seven miles), Santa's Village (seven miles), Mt. Washington Resort and Spa (eight miles), the Mt. Washington Cog Railway (13 miles), and Littleton's restaurants, breweries, and theater scene (20 miles).

After a day out and about at Story Land (32 miles), come home to unwind on the covered front porch and watch your kids play in the enormous yard. Take in the view of the surrounding mountains and forest, and cozy up by the firepit to roast marshmallows once the sun goes down.

The interior is full of rustic ambience, from the animal mounts on the walls to the wood-burning fireplace with a floor-to-ceiling stone hearth. Welcome to The Vig's Place, located in The White Mountains near Santa's Village and local farms. Our home is spacious and family-friendly. It is close to hiking, golf, skiing, snowmobile trails, and other outdoor activities.

Our home offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, plenty of AMAZING Sunsets and Sunrises. High-speed internet is perfect for work and video games. AC (window unit) is available from early June through September 1st in each of the 3 bedrooms

The primary suite features a large walk-in closet, a double sink vanity, a private shower/toilet area, and a Whirlpool Tub! You will sleep perfectly in the newly decorated bedroom! There is a Queen bed and 1 twin-size beds (TRUNDLE STYLE with a twin mattress underneath) and a upholstered rocking chair to relax. The other 2 bedrooms both feature 1 full-size bed and 1 twin-size bed, for a total of 6 beds. Room for everyone!

Our home features an 8-person dining table, a kitchen with a dishwasher, stove, fridge, microwave, and all the utensils to cook a perfect meal. A booster seat is available for the little ones! The newly furnished living room has a smart TV ready to sign into your favorite streaming apps. Just off the kitchen, there is a poker table with cards & chips. We provide a small variety of K-cups, sugar, sweeteners, and tea bags, as well as waters in the fridge.

The outside deck has a large picnic table and a gas grill. Just off the deck is a new 6-person hot tub and lots of jets. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a night under the most amazing starry nights you've ever seen (weather permitting, of course).

We like families to have a great quality time together! The game room has so much to do for the whole family: dartboard, 3 arcade games, kid putting green, video games, smart TV, Ping Pong Table, and more! We have board games, a dollhouse and other toys in the nursery room.

We want you to feel at home while in our place. We expect guests to treat our home with respect and be considerate of our neighbors.

Formerly known as "The Old Red Tavern," this historic house served as a haven for weary travelers, offering spirits and lodging in the early 1800s. Located in the heart of historic Jefferson Village, this four-bedroom house offers the ideal retreat for all seasons. Situated just across the creek from Bellevue Barn and less than a mile away from Santa's Village, The Red Tavern comfortably accommodates up to eight people.

The hand hued beams are original and structural. The house was built between 1811-1817.

The original square where the beams are exposed is the original tavern.

Feel free to use the outdoor shower between the house and the barn.

A solo stove is waiting for you in the patio area, wood in the wood shed.

Take a walk up in the apple trees and take in the view.

Enjoy sitting on the farmers porch at night and dim the lights down.

Our 3-bedroom vacation retreat sits on 30 private acres in the heart of New Hampshire’s White Mountains, making it an ideal setting for families with kids and dogs, couples, groups of friends, romantic retreats, and for anyone who wants to explore the region’s many outdoor recreational activities. Large windows and the spacious wraparound deck take full advantage of the spectacular views of the surrounding mountain peaks and valleys. Sunrises and sunsets are magnificent! The spacious interior of our architect-designed, executive-quality residence is exceptional, with a double-story great room, floating stairway, striking double-chimney Russian fireplace, jetted tub in the master bath, and two-person indoor sauna. The chef’s kitchen is fully equipped with all that’s necessary to whip up a snack or a gourmet meal. Outdoors, enjoy a large flat lawn, explore the trails on the property, roast s’mores at the campfire ring, or play horseshoes. In the fall, a short walk down the hill takes you to the nearby apple orchard and cider press.

PARENTAL PERKS
On a private road at 1,500 feet elevation, our contemporary home is ideal for a family getaway when you’re looking for a comfortable base to return to after a day of adventuring with the kids. The Great Room with fireplace and the full kitchen and family dining area are on the main level, with bedrooms on the second level, so you can put the kids to bed and relax downstairs. A full-size washer and dryer make cleanup easy after a day of exploring. Dozens of attractions are within easy driving distance, including Santa’s Village (children’s theme park, 15 minutes), the Mount Washington Cog Railway (30 minutes), zip-lining and canopy tours (30 minutes), and Franconia Notch State Park with its aerial tramway (45 minutes).

Our kid-friendly home is well stocked with board games, video games, books and toys, and a comfy Bean Bag chair to snuggle into. The ping-pong table in the basement is a huge hit! Older kids can explore the marked trails on the property, play Frisbee, Croquet or horseshoes on the large flat lawn, or use our snow sleds in winter. Toddlers can romp and run around just outside the house, or enjoy a bath with our fun bath toys. Santa’s Village, with multiple water features and rides, is 15 minutes away. Waterfalls and numerous trails for walking and hiking are nearby. Forest Lake is a 15-minute drive. Muddy Paw Sled Dog Kennel offers year-round sled dog rides (15 minutes). Chutters in Littleton is home to the World’s Longest Candy Counter (30 minutes). Snowboarding, downhill and cross-country skiing, mountain biking and white-water rafting are all less than an hour’s drive away.

RELAXING WITH FRIENDS
Couples, groups of friends, mother-daughter weekends, and small family gatherings will feel right at home. A private retreat any time of year, The Bray Hill House is situated just 30 minutes away from both the hip town of Littleton with plentiful dining options, a covered bridge and shops to explore, and the quaint village of Bethlehem with art galleries, a movie theater and performing arts center. Dozens of other activities like farmers markets, summer band concerts, farm-to-table restaurants and historic attractions are nearby. Several micro-breweries are a 15- 30 minute drive. The house lends itself to leisurely walks on the property’s trails along old stone walls, morning coffee on the deck, snuggling in front of the Russian fireplace on chilly evenings, and relaxing in the two-person indoor sauna or master bath jetted tub. Step onto the private enclosed porch off the master bedroom to look at the stars before turning in for the night.

DOG FRIENDLY!
Fido and Flossie deserve a vacation, too! Our home welcomes dogs and we provide all the necessities so you don’t have to pack them, including an extra-large dog bed, along with dog towels for wiping paws, food and water dishes, and poop bags. Dogs are welcome to go off-leash on our property if they will stay nearby. The Pondicherry Wildlife Reserve (20 minutes) and Mud Pond (5 minutes) have easy-to-walk trails with lots of new smells for your pooch to explore (on leash) and lots of birds and other wildlife for you to enjoy.

The White Mountains are popular year-round as a mountain getaway renowned for spectacular views, crisp mountain air, and dozens of outdoor recreational activities. As our guests, you are in the heart of a region celebrated for its world-class hiking trails, award-winning golf courses, downhill and cross-country skiing, biking trails, summer theater, amusement parks, zip-lining, white water rafting, canoeing, fishing, state parks and tramways. The Weathervane Theatre (15 minutes), a summer theater at its best, has shows for adults and kids in July and August. The Crawford Path (40 minutes) on the flanks of Mount Washington is the oldest hiking path in the United States. Six golf courses, including the Donald Ross-designed Mt. Washington course at Bretton Woods and the Waumbek in Jefferson, the state’s oldest golf course, are all under 45 minutes away. The 3,000-square-foot Bray Hill House was designed by the architectural firm Mirski and Associates. Patterned after the turn-of-the century New England shingle-style houses of the area on the exterior, the spacious and completely modern interior boasts an amazing array of custom features throughout, mid-century modern furniture and an eclectic assortment of artwork. The Bray Hill House was custom-built to take advantage of its spectacular mountain setting, with impressive views of three mountain ranges and the Mount Washington and Connecticut River Valleys, and overlooking the small town of Jefferson. Our home’s prime location in the heart of the White Mountains of northern New Hampshire gives our guests easy access to all of the region’s many activities and attractions.

STYLE NOTES
Country contemporary with a stylish vibe in a secluded and private location, this is a light, open, playful but functional home with sophisticated touches, like the unusual lilac-colored stair and balcony railings, floating staircase, and awesome double chimney fireplace. The stained glass elements in the home’s gable sparkle when the house is lit up at night. Bright accents throughout add pops of color to the home’s neutral palette. The home’s lower level is all about sociability with plenty of space for families, friends, kids and dogs to mix and mingle, cook and eat, while the upper level provides quiet spaces for sleeping, reading and quiet conversations. BEDROOMS
Located on the second level with beautiful views of the natural beauty outside, the home’s three bedrooms comfortably sleep 6. Each room is outfitted with a queen size bed with luxury linens and pillows, two roomy dressers and large closets, along with all the essentials you need for a carefree stay: shampoo and conditioner, soaps, bath and hand towels, hair dryer, iron, ironing board and more. The master bedroom features an en-suite bath with jetted tub and a private, enclosed porch; the other bedrooms share a separate, full bathroom. A third bathroom is located on the main level.

CHEF’S KITCHEN AND DINING
The chef’s kitchen is equipped with both an Aga and Jenn-Air range and a Subzero refrigerator/freezer. The large center island and surrounding countertops provide plenty of prep space, and an army of small appliances — KitchenAid stand mixer, automatic rice cooker, drip coffee maker, electric kettle, Instant Pot and more — stand at the ready. Pull up a chair at the breakfast nook at one end of the kitchen for a meal with a view, perch on the stools at the wet bar adjacent to the kitchen for a drink or a snack, or gather family and friends around the formal dining room table with seating for 6-12.

While we strive to minimize guest disturbances, we regularly maintain our home and may conduct lawn care during reservations, particularly on weekdays or during longer stays.

The house is up a hill and 4 wheel drive is recommended during the winter months.

Please note that the 4th bedroom is an open loft with a trundle bed (2 twin beds) - please note that an open loft means there is not a door separating the sleeping space.

If you are traveling with a dog, we must know at the time of booking and prior to your arrival. There is a $125 dog fee per dog, with a maximum of 2 dogs. This does not cover any damage or yard clean up. All dogs must be house trained. Any unauthorized dogs will result in a $500 fine. Please note that we do not allow cats due to guest allergies.

Absolutely NO smoking inside the house, on the decks, or within 100 feet of the house. Violation of this or evidence of smoking (ie: cigarette butts) will result in a $500 fine.

There are exterior ONLY security cameras actively recording, for the safety of both guest and property. Any tampering with the cameras will not be permitted and will result in immediate termination of your reservation, without refund.

It also has Central A/C for those toasty days and a pellet stove for the cold nights! A perfect destination for hikers, snowmobilers, photo enthusiasts, skiers, or outdoors enthusiasts. This is a choice location for those looking for a peaceful retreat from the daily hustle and bustle of city life while still being accessible to many of the northern NH attractions…. 3.5 miles to Santa's Village, 17 miles to the Cog Railway, 19 miles to Bretton Woods, 24 miles to the Mount Washington Auto Road, 26 miles to Wildcat Mountain, 38 miles to Storyland, 39 miles to Loon Mtn/Lincoln, 44 miles to North Conway.

Recent upgrades are a downstairs Kidz den with bunk beds and a large screen TV with theater seating, a Game Room with a Pool table and Bar for the adults, an outdoor Hot Tub with Mountain Views, and a Fire Pit with complimentary firewood for burning and a sitting area near Alder Brook. There is also a large parking area with room for boat or snowmobile trailers.

Start the day by taking the family to the Waterwheel Breakfast and Gift House on Route 2. Take a short trip down the road to the Mt Starr King / Mt Waumbek trailhead off of Starr King Rd. Enjoy an easy hike or bike riding at the PondiCherry wildlife refuge. Ten minutes away on Route 2 in Randolph you can park at the Appalachia Trailhead where an easy hike brings you to Gordon Falls and then continue up the trails for more falls. Also just down the road is the Pond of Safety, accessible only by 4 wheel drive. Pond of Safety road is also a part of the snowmobile trail system leading to Berlin, Gorham, and the Jericho trails. There are several other junctions of the snowmobile trail system nearby as well for ease of access. After a day of hiking, snowmobiling, or running after the kids at Santa’s Village, wind down by soaking in the hot tub while watching the sunset on Mt Washington or head to the Copper Pig Brewery just 14 minutes away in Lancaster.

Please note that this is a quiet, peaceful area and there is zero tolerance for any behavior that is disruptive to the neighborhood. No parties, events, loud noise, or large groups are allowed. Please reach out if you anticipate having an event for prior authorization.

So much to do and see here! You will have your own private entrance and only the outdoor areas may be shared although we have plenty of space for everyone to enjoy.

You can sled right out the front door and down the private road connecting onto nearly 7000 miles of New Hampshire Snowmobile Association trails! Please note that these same trails are off limits to ATVs/quads. Closest (and fantastic) ATV trails are in Gorham, NH.

Guests have access to the entire home and property with the exception of two owner's closets in the home and utility room in the garage. We love our cabin and ask that you treat our home as you would want your home treated. NO EVENTS. NO PARTIES. NO WEDDINGS. NO PETS. NO SMOKING. NO DRUGS. NO FIREARMS. NO FIREWORKS. EIGHT GUESTS MAX per booking. We do monitor this and have multiple outdoor security cameras, noise monitors, and smoking detectors. Outdoor quiet hours begin at 9pm. Please keep merrymaking indoors. This is a family friendly, quiet neighborhood. We collect a refundable security deposit through a secure processing platform at the time of booking to cover incidentals. This deposit is automatically refunded 1 week after checkout. Rental agreement must be signed prior to your stay. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL GUESTS IN YOUR PARTY BEING AWARE OF THE HOUSE RULES. 20 mph speed limit on the road leading up to the cabin is strictly enforced for safety purposes and out of respect to full-time residents on the road.

Max 3 vehicles per booking. No parking on the road. There is ample parking available at the property, but may be tighter squeeze if a lot of snow. Please carpool and plan accordingly.

4WD/AWD absolutely required during winter months for travel up and down the gravel road due to snow and ice. If you don't have a 4WD/AWD vehicle with good tires, please consider renting one prior to leaving for your trip. You are staying in the mountains, and a small sedan is not going to cut it up here in the winter. Jefferson is a small town with spaced out properties. It may take some time for help to arrive if you get stuck, so best to be prepared. Adjust your travel plans accordingly with the weather. We also recommend you use winter shoe grippers/spikes when hiking along the road/trails as it can be slippery. Also, only the Left two-thirds of the road is plowed during the winter and the other side is maintained for snowmobile use. You will need to drive slow and cooperate with any oncoming traffic.

Please keep in mind that you have chosen to vacation in the mountains. Bugs are abundant here outside the winter months. Please do your best to keep windows/doors closed.
