We stayed in cabin 6 and the A/C just wasn't cutting it. It would run all through the day but only really got cold for an hour in the morning. The separate rooms were nice and beds were comfy. The appeal here is the pool. To note the pool is covered for majority of the day by a few large trees which means you swim in the shade. Although sme chairs and parts of the deck were in need of some repairs the kids were able to enjoy the water. You share it with whomever else is there which could be a good or bad thing depending on how many people are staying. You can see the water from the back of the property, but it is just a marina. You cannot touch the lake. There is another small park down past the cottages that you can get onto a beach and touch water. There are not many places to hang beach clothes to dry other than outside over a picnic table. There is one hook in bathroom and a shower bar. Location was good. Few minutes from the state park and Kelley's Island Ferry. A 20ish minute drive to Put-In-Bays ferry. Again it was just okay. "

We have loved Lakeside for 40 years and we are happy to offer our place for you to use responsibly. The price listed is for up to six people. For eight people and an up charge, the Great Room can be opened up where there are two twin beds. Also in the Great Room there are 2 reclining sofas, a fieldstone fireplace with gas logs, and a large screen TV. Price for the added Great Room is $1660 Weekly. (The pictures showing the fireplace, twin beds and red sofas are shown here but, again, that room is for extra rental, not basic rental.)

Without the Great Room there are three bedrooms, two with queen size beds and one with a full size bed. The Master BR has an en suite and there is an additional bath that serves the other two bedrooms. There are room air conditioners that are able to manage the square footage. There is a relaxing sun room, a dining area, well-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer and gas grill.

Rock of Ages has been sitting on the shores of Lake Erie since 1861. It is built of native, local limestone, and is listed on the National Historic Register. There simply is not another comparable home on Lake Erie. It is wonderfully unique and fun to explore. It is very solid (like a 'Rock') and in great shape, but we have renovated the first floor, creating a Great Room and state of the art kitchen with everything needed to cook for and dine 30+ guests. We accept bookings year round. In the summer we book "weeks" Mon-Sun. We do not accept less than this 6 night "week" in the summer. From Labor Day to Memorial Day we accept less than 6 nights.

Rock of Ages overlooks the Lake Erie islands and is in the quaint village of Marblehead and is only a hop, skip, and a jump from the east gate of Lakeside (The Chautauqua of Lake Erie) in one direction and the historic Marblehead lighthouse in the other. The lighthouse is a spot of natural beauty and the oldest continuously operating lighthouse on the Great Lakes.

We have traveled around the world and this is our favorite place on earth! Friendly, down-home people, great entertainment (at Lakeside and the islands), wonderful local history, great boating and fishing, Cedar Point, and the waves and the winds of Lake Erie, are constantly there. What a place! From Rock of Ages's tower room is one of the best views of Lake Erie in the area. Come and see!

Rock of Ages has a 120-foot spacious lakefront patio and three other patios with plenty of furniture for sunbathing, eating and gazing at the lake and watching the boats and ferry to Kelley's island. Of course, you can swim off the flat glacial rocks right in front of the house. A large sandy beach is a short drive away. We still have the original limestone fossil walkways from when 'The Rock' was first built. There is a large hot tub overlooking the lake.

We have plenty of room for the whole family (8000 sq. ft.) and lots of bed and bath options. There is a first-floor suite with a king bed and its' own bath for those who do not do stairs. On the second floor each of the five bedrooms has a king-size bed and a private bath. The third floor is great for kids. Six bedrooms surround a large common area with a large-screen TV.

There is one king bed, one queen bed, 5 full-size beds, 3 twins and 4 rollaways up there. The third floor bedrooms share a full size bath and two half baths. You have already heard about the view from the tower room! It has a kingsize bed, its' own bath, and a roof-top patio. Folks will fight over who gets to sleep there!

On the first floor as well as the kitchen and dining/great room, there is a living room with TV. The first floor also has two half baths. The lower level - not really a basement (it was the old summer kitchen) is a large game room area with a pool table, ping pong table, TV, half bath, and tables and chairs. There is a backyard patio with two large grills. Rock of Ages has a large parking area to accommodate big groups.

Although it is wonderful in the summer with the windows open and the lake breezes, we do have air conditioning. Rock of Ages can be used year round and the lake in all its glory in the winter with ice and snow is something else!! It is a great place for business or church groups or special interest retreats and seminars, for example birders or artists.

Our rates are for the entire property, not per person as in an inn or bed and breakfast. NOV- APRIL (With the exception of the holidays). I offer up to half off the regular rate, depending on the size of the group. Please send an inquiry for more details and a quote. This is a brand new cottage, 2022. It is ready for year round rentals. Everything in the cottage is brand new.
This cottage has central heat and a/c for year round comfort.
There are three bedrooms. One is on the first floor. The additional two are upstairs. They are large bedrooms.
There are 3.5 bathrooms. One and and a half on the first floor. Two full bathrooms on the second floor.
Appliances we have them all; kitchen disposal, drawer dishwashers, amazing fridge / freezer with interior drinking water dispenser, front loading washer and dryer, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, dual fuel stove/oven, drawer microwave, beverage fridge and a tankless hot water system. There is a Weber circular charcoal grill. You need to bring your own charcoal and matches. Did I mention large 4k tv over the fireplace. The fireplace is for looking at only. It is not to be used. This cottage is built top notch. The appliances are Bosch brand. Everything is brand new, including the golf cart.

The kitchen table seats 8 and the kitchen island seats 5. There are stools to be used around the dining table corners to seat another four people for dining and / or games, 12 people.

Outside on the front porch there is a couch with two chairs and ottomans. There are also three Adirondack chairs.

Lakeside is celebrating its 150th anniversary - summer 2023.

Lakeside Chautauqua is an amazing community. There is daily programming so be sure to check out the Lakeside Ohio web site. Lakeside helps to allow you to experience a slower time. The community includes Lake Erie pier, downtown shopping, restaurants, ice cream shops, movie theater, parks, splash pad, pool, wellness center, playgrounds, basketball, sand volleyball, walking trails, tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard, mini golf, art classes, worship, exhibits, and classes. Don't forget to walk along Ohio's Most Beautiful Mile, along the shores of Lake Erie.

Outside the gates there is a lot to do in the surrounding communities; Cedar Point, wineries, animal safari, waterparks, island hopping, and restaurants galore.

At no additional cost, an electric four person golf cart is included for use during the week. The golf cart is available end of May until the middle of October. You have to have a valid drivers license to operate the golf cart. You must be 21 years old to operate the golf cart. The golf cart is only to be used inside the gates/ fences of Lakeside. The golf cart is for four people. Each night the golf cart needs to be in the driveway charging, it is battery operated.

The internet is available year round. There is no cable tv. There is high speed WiFi throughout the cottage.
The tvs are smart tvs - if you have a subscription to a service that will work on the tv.

Did I mention there is also a half bath on the first floor for guests ?

The sheets are Molecule which is a performance sheet brand. They are comfortable and very breathable for any time of year.

Bedroom First Floor:
First floor primary bedroom: King bed with a bunk bed, twin over twin. This bedroom has an en-suite, with an amazing shower.

Bedrooms Upstairs:
Front Bedroom : King bed and twin bunk beds and a day bed. The daybed can be used as a bed or as a couch to get away. This bedroom has an en-suite, with an amazing shower with a rain shower head and a hand-held.
Rear Bedroom: This is a bunk room. Two sets of twin bunk beds. Third bunk is a twin over a queen. There is extra headroom for the queen bed under the twin. The bathroom is off the hall. It has a tub/ shower combo.

There are enough beds to sleep 16 - which gives you options for sleeping arrangements.

Linens are provided. As a convenience, all beds are premade with sheets prior to your arrival.
The sheets are being washed on the hottest cycle. Also, Lysol Detergent sanitizer is being added.
All sheets & towels will be cleaned upon departure by the cleaners. Please put all used towels and used bed sheets in the laundry room. You need to take the sheets off of the beds used and place into the laundry room.

There are some pool/beach towels.

This new cottage is top notch !!

Upon departure, guests must clean and put away all kitchenware.
Dishwasher detergent is under the sink.

There is a large grass space up on 6th street next to the wellness center. A great space to play in the yard. There are yard activities in the white storage chest along the left side of the cottage.

You must bring your own charcoal and matches.

Cancellation Policy:
100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before the arrival date. You must contact the owner directly to talk about a cancellation. If I can re-rent the cottage I will return your money minus Vrbo.com fees. I don’t have control of that.

We are close to Cedar Point, Port Clinton, Catawba Island, East Harbor State Park, the Marblehead Lighthouse and historic Johnson Island. The Kelley’s Island ferry is a 10-minute walk and the Put-in-Bay and Jet Express ferries are a short drive away. We are minutes away from numerous beaches, marinas, public boat and fishing accesses and fish cleaning stations. It is hard to count all of the restaurants, ice cream shops, wineries and breweries the peninsula has to offer! Many offer indoor and outdoor dining and local entertainment daily. When you add in the area shopping opportunities from fine art to souvenirs, you will literally find something for everyone in your group!

We want you to feel at home! Our cottage has a fully outfitted kitchen, living room with a comfortable fold-out queen-sized sofa, two private bedrooms featuring a queen-sized bed and a full-sized bed, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. As long-time vacation home renters, we always wished that we didn’t need to buy a bottle of ketchup to have fries one time, or a bottle of shampoo to wash our hair twice. So, we supply all of the staples, spices, condiments, and coffee that you will need, as well as toiletries for your convenience. In addition to your private deck, you are welcome to use our outside area with a fire-pit, shaded lounge area with comfortable seating and a sunny area with chaise lounges. You can cook out using our gas grill or charcoal grill. We are happy to provide you with lawn games, beach chairs, a picnic basket and beach towels for your days in the sun. For quieter days, our cottage is stocked with games, books and tvs for family fun. We even have an outdoor projector and screen if you want to do a movie night with the fireflies! Outside there is a gas grill, fire ring, wooden deck with table and chairs, with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. The cottage is approximately 150 yards from the dock where you can catch bass, bluegill, catfish, perch, and crappie or just sit back and watch the day float by and catch beautiful sunsets. The rental includes a free dock space that can accommodate up to a 22 ft boat.

We may be new to Airbnb but we are not new to providing vacation rentals for travelers. We have 5 rentals on this property and our family has been renting here at Rock Harbor Cottages since the 1960's. We have 100's of great reviews just none on here, so please give us a chance. Along with rentals we offer fishing (walleye, perch, smallmouth bass) and pleasure charters aboard our 28 foot boat that leaves right from the property. We invite you to come and 'get-away' for a week (or two) at this cozy home located on a 1/2 acre of lakefront property and situated at the end of a quiet residential street. Our summer cottage is family owned and operated and we believe in greeting all of our guests and making you feel right at home.

'Little House on the Lake' is the perfect retreat for a small family or adults vacationing together. A beautiful view of Lake Erie can be seen just out the front door and the large open yard is perfect for various summertime activities. Docks are also available to rent for our boat owning guests. They are located within walking distance from the home as well as a free public boat ramp less than 2 minutes away. Not a boat owner? Don't worry, we are also conveniently located between the many boat ferries if you choose others to navigate the sea for you.

A better location for summertime fun cannot be found! Our 'Little House on the Lake' is only a few miles from the famous Marblehead Lighthouse. We are also close to area beaches, restaurants and 'Monsoon Lagoon' the most cost effective outdoor waterpark around. It takes approximately 30 minutes for our guests to get to Cedar Point & Soak City by car and the Erie Islands; Kelley's, Middle Bass, South Bass (Put-in-Bay) and Pelee by boat.

If you need a break from the Lake, why not go shopping? Local businesses offer some other great catches as well. We are 5 minutes from the quaint downtown city of Marblehead which features numerous little specialty shoppes. Shop while you walk along side a beautiful view of the Lake. The quiet and relaxing Lakeside community is also within an arm's reach of our place. Hours can be spent enjoying the countless activities going on inside their gates.

Fishermen: check out the 'Western Basin' known for the most productive fishing on the Great Lakes. Walleye, Perch and Bass can be caught in large numbers throughout the year. Many of our guests have caught their fill of fish without even leaving the front yard! Sunbathers or swimmers: if you are brave, jump into the water & sandy area right in the front yard or visit the nearby beach if you prefer for plenty of fun in the sun.

Activity seeking visitors: play a game of volleyball or golf, hike, run, boat or just site see and take in the many beautiful sights of this region. Tastetesting folks: fill your bellies with a different kind of food every night - Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, vegetarian or visit the steak houses, sports bars, fish and chips spots, wineries, mom and pops homemade food joints or even the beloved chili dog and ice cream quick stop. For the rest of you: just kick back, relax and enjoy a good book by the water's edge.

We must note - if you are looking for fancy, we are not the place for you. If, however, you want something clean, quiet, cozy and relaxing... we are just that. We also realize that during hard economic times most folks do not have money to throw around. Instead of charging some outrageous price for the week like many others do, we offer our home at a very reasonable rate. We encourage you to go ahead and compare... we bet you will not find another house on the water with so much to do at such a low price. This is why we believe many of our guests return again and again.

The Kelley’s Island ferry is a 10-minute walk and the Put-in-Bay and Jet Express ferries are a short drive away. It is hard to count all of the restaurants, ice cream shops, wineries and breweries the peninsula has to offer! Many offer indoor and outdoor dining and local entertainment daily. We want you to feel at home during your stay. Our cottage has a fully outfitted kitchen, dining room, living room with a comfortable fold-out queen-sized sofa, and a twin-sized fold-out chair, sunroom, bedroom with a queen-sized bed, and large bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is a washer and dryer for your needs. We furnish you with all of the staples, spices, condiments, and coffee that you will need, as well as linens and toiletries for your convenience. The outside area offers a fire-pit, shaded lounge area with comfortable seating, a sunny area with chaise loungers. We have a gas grill and charcoal grill available for your use. We are happy to provide you with lawn games, beach chairs, a picnic basket and beach towels for your days in the sun. For quieter days, our cottage is stocked with games, books and tvs for family fun. We even have an outdoor projector and screen if you want to do a movie night with the fireflies! There are two parking spots for your convenience and a bike rack.

Our single story, 2-bedroom house is located on a quiet street just steps outside of Lakeside. With so many options and attractions, this is the perfect spot for your family to enjoy it all. The Kelley’s Island ferry as well as the quaint town of Marblehead is a short bike ride away. The Marblehead lighthouse is less than two miles and offers tours (check their schedule). The historic Lakeside Community is literally steps away and just a short car ride, providing a wide diversity of activities for all ages. You and your family can enjoy a range of Lakeside programs including: Educational conferences, Religious programs, arts and crafts, musical programs, performing arts, culinary classes, water activities (swimming and sailing lessons), children's programs, and a range of sports (shuffleboard, miniature golf, tennis and basketball). Both Lakeside and Marblehead offer many parks, restaurants and shopping areas to enjoy. Cedar Point is 25 minutes and the African Wildlife Safari Park is 10 minutes. The ferry to Kelley’s Island is about a mile and the ferry or jet express to Put-In-Bay (Middle Bass Island) is about 15 minutes.

The layout of the home is very fun and open, gathering spaces are available with a large living room, eat in kitchen and outdoor yard and seating area. The bedrooms are configured to maximize flexibility, master bedroom containing 1 queen bed the second bedroom containing 1 queen bed and a full/twin bunk. Sleeping a house of 6-8 is never a problem.
Our home offers plenty of off street parking, a grassy yard to play in with a grill and patio table and chairs. There is a full-size washer and dryer off the kitchen for all of your laundry needs. Three window air conditioners keep the entire home comfortable for those extra hot summer days and nights. The television in the family room is ready for you to sign in to your favorite apps/television subscription. You will find a full stocked Kitchen as well as all the essentials just as if you were at home; a Keurig coffee maker, toaster and microwave.

This cottage has been in our family for 35 years. It has been cared for to the utmost as it has aged and had a large part of it renovated or remodeled sometime in the last few years, but it still maintains the feeling of a classic family cottage on the lake. Complete with a screened porch, porch swing, playing cards section, and balcony. We still spend a few weekends a summer here to get all the family together to enjoy it.

Nestled between Lakeside and Marblehead, enjoy the serenity of our Lake Erie towns! The second floor of our cottage is your personal escape. The cottage has a private entrance and attached deck with a comfortable seating nook and dining area. Some of our guests have described it as feeling like being in a treehouse! Please note that while our cottage is on Lakeside Chautauqua property, it is just outside the fence. This allows you to easily visit Lakeside to take advantage of all of the amenities and programming when you desire, but not have to pay the seasonal gate fees for the times you are not entering. We are close to Cedar Point, Port Clinton, Catawba Island, East Harbor State Park, the Marblehead Lighthouse and historic Johnson Island. The Kelley’s Island ferry is a 10-minute walk and the Put-in-Bay and Jet Express ferries are a short drive away. We are minutes away from numerous beaches, marinas, public boat and fishing accesses and fish cleaning stations. It is hard to count all of the restaurants, ice cream shops, wineries and breweries the peninsula has to offer! Many offer indoor and outdoor dining and local entertainment daily. When you add in the area shopping opportunities from fine art to souvenirs, you will literally find something for everyone in your group!


We want you to feel at home! Our cottage has a fully outfitted kitchen, living room with a comfortable fold-out full-sized sofa, two private bedrooms featuring a queen-sized bed and a full-sized bed, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. As long-time vacation home renters, we always wished that we didn’t need to buy a bottle of ketchup to have fries one time, or a bottle of shampoo to wash our hair twice. So, we supply all of the staples, spices, condiments, and coffee that you will need, as well as toiletries for your convenience. In addition to your private deck, you are welcome to use our outside area with a fire-pit, shaded lounge area with comfortable seating and a sunny area with chaise lounges. You can cook out using our gas grill or charcoal grill. We are happy to provide you with lawn games, beach chairs, a picnic basket and beach towels for your days in the sun. For quieter days, our cottage is stocked with games, books and tvs for family fun. We even have an outdoor projector and screen if you want to do a movie night with the fireflies! There are two parking spots for your convenience and a bike rack.

As our guest you will have access to the entire second floor unit of our cottage. This includes the living room, dining area, kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom and bathroom. Your private deck has a seating area and table that seats 6. You can also take advantage of our lovely outside area with a covered lounge area with furniture, a sunny area with lounge chairs, the yard and firepit. We have a charcoal grill and a gas grill available for your use.

As a family we have rented vacation houses for decades and felt like we were always running around looking for little things to cook an entire meal. Who wants to buy a whole bottle of olive oil when you only need a tablespoon? It was always a comedy of errors with our family coming from different states and trying to figure out if we had enough linens to fit the beds in the vacation house, and who would bring the toilet paper and kleenex. It got to the point where our mom could barely fit her suitcase and beach bag in the car, it would be stuffed so full of paper products! We think a vacation house should allow you to just relax and focus on fun, so when you arrive, your beds will be made, clean towels ready for you and a kitchen supplied with spices, flour, sugar and other staples, toiletries in case someone forgets their toothpaste or needs a bobby pin. In addition, we have books, games and TVs where you can sign into one of your streaming apps and have a family game night. Outside, you can gather around the firepit for smore's or to stay warm on a chilly evening, we even supply the wood! If you forget your beach towel, we have those along with sunscreen and bug spray. We have a pack-n-play and potty seat and swim diapers if you need them. And we are happy to leave out our beach chairs, picnic basket, sand toys for your day at the beach. Welcome aboard!!! The “Nutsea” is a 1971 34 foot Trojan houseboat! She has been recently updated and is docked at Anchor’s Away Marina on beautiful Lake Erie in Marblehead Ohio. The boat does not leave the dock but offers great views of west harbor and the marina. Come experience life in a marina you’ll love it!!!

The space
You will enter the houseboat through a sliding glass door. Upon entering you will step into a living area which features a comfortable couch for relaxing, sipping morning coffee, watching tv or just looking out the many windows that allow you to see the harbor where boats are constantly coming and going. There is also a twin bed in that area for sleeping in a more open space. There is a small kitchen that is equipped with plates, cups, utensils, a microwave, small refrigerator and a toaster. There are also pots and pans for cooking on a “nuwave” electric burner. The kitchen is also equipped with a coffee maker.

There is a back bedroom which features blackout curtains and blinds for peaceful sleeping. It has a comfy full size bed. The bedroom also has a tv with a Roku.

.The “Nutsea” is unique in the way that she has a basement! Although you are not able to stand up in the basement area it does features two comfortable beds and plenty of space for storing your belongings and other essentials that you have brought along with you. This space is great for kids but very comfy and doable for adults.

There is a bathroom on board but does not have shower facilities, but the marina has clean showers and bathrooms for your use during your stay free of charge. The bathroom has a modern port-a potty which allows guests to use it for liquids only unless of course there are those unforeseen emergencies which can’t be helped. But we do encourage the use of the marinas restrooms. Keep in mind you are not staying at the Embassy Suites but on a very unique 51 year old boat. Embrace it and enjoy your stay!

*in the basement of the boat there is a folding and adjustable table that guests may use. This table is best used in the living room where it provides guests to eat indoors.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire houseboat. The bow of the boat features full view of the harbor for boat and wildlife watching. There are cushions to make the seating more comfortable along with a table for enjoying your meals and maybe that glass of wine or cocktail while watching the sunset! The stern of the boat has chairs and a small table. This space is great for those early riser’s to catch the sunrise. This area also has a ladder that takes you to the upper deck where there is also seating for a full view of the harbor and marina. There is NO sitting or standing on the roof part of the boat. Guests do not have access to that part of the boat.

*For those who enjoy fishing we have provided fishing poles and a light tackle box . These can be found on fishing holders under the roof on the bow of the boat. We ask that guests do not clean fish aboard the boat.

*Guests are not permitted to smoke on the boat.

*No pets allowed on the boat.


*Wi-Fi is provided by the marina. The password can be found on the cork board in the kitchen. Some days Wi-Fi works great other days it can be temperamental. This is something we have no control over.

*In the basement of the boat you will find beach towels, sun screen, beach chairs, sand toys and a beach umbrella which guests can use during they’re stay. We ask that guests try to shake all sand out before returning to the boat. We provide a hamper in basement for all used and wet towels.

*There is absolutely NO swimming off the boat or anywhere in the marina.

*No parties are allowed on the boat. We ask that quests be respectful of they’re dock neighbors.

** please use caution when docks are wet in the marina. They can become slippery.

***There are shower houses and restrooms located in Crabby Joe’s restaurant. The door is to the right of the entrance to the restaurant. These are the only restrooms and shower houses that quests have access to. They are clean and are open 24 hours and free of charge. Key cards are needed to enter and will be in a blue dish behind sink on the houseboat. There a a replacement cost if cards are lost.

Other things to note
The “Nutsea” is a unique 51 year old vessel. While she has a lot of character, she is an older boat that has narrow doorways and narrow hallways. The boat does feature running water. It has a hot water tank on board for washing hands and doing dishes. There is no shower on board but marina has clean restrooms and showers for you to use during your stay free of charge. The port-a potty on board is used for liquids only. We realize there are those occasional emergencies where one must use it for other than liquids but we strongly encourage the use of marina restrooms for those incidents. The boat is securely tied to the dock but it does move and rock on occasion. One must remember while staying on the”Nutsea” that she is a boat floating on the water.

This home features three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Bedroom #1 has two twin beds, Bedroom #2 has a queen bed, and Bedroom #3 (master bedroom) has a king bed. There is also a couch and an air mattress that could be used in the living room. The hallway bathroom has a tub/shower combo and the en suite bathroom in the master bedroom has a double vanity and shower (with bench). The home has a one-car garage and a covered porch that overlooks the channel and Bay Point Marina.

The entire home will be accessible during your stay with the exception of one of the two closets in the master bedroom.

Other things to note
This home is newly constructed and located within a brand new development, Waterview at Bay Point. Additional homes and infrastructure are still under construction within the development. You will likely see and hear construction on your drive to and from the home and during your stay. Once you reach the home itself, signs of construction are reduced. If you are hesitant to book because of this, please contact me and we can discuss this in further detail.

$550 “Cleaning Fee” includes $150 to cover cleaning expense and $400 resort fee which allows access to Bay Point Resort and Marina. The $400 resort fee is required to rent this home, regardless of if the amenities of Bay Point are used or not.

We provide many things that typical Lakeside rentals don't usually include, like: Clean linens for all beds, blankets, towels, cleaning products, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher and laundry soaps, paper towels, trash bags, hair dryer for your use, etc. We have a well-equipped kitchen, and we have a Keurig coffee maker and a regular drip coffee maker for your use. We tried to think of everything!

This property is like an island of nature in the middle of everything!
You will find the lodge directly across from East Harbor State Park with access to Lake Erie. Surrounding the lodge in every other direction is the Great Egret Marsh Preserve - 150 acres protected by the Nature Conservancy.
The lodge was completely rehabbed, redecorated and furnished in 2018. Our goal is to provide a relaxing escape with well appointed finishes for our guests.

When you stay at the So Lucki lodge the entire place is yours. Although the owners may be close by, the house will be used only by your group. You have full access to exterior seating areas, large yard, grill and fire pit. There is plenty of space for you to park on the property.

The Inn Above The Store, Lakeside, is right in the heart of quaint downtown Lakeside Chautauqua. This newly renovated upstairs apartment overlooks the park and is just steps away from all of the shopping, restaurants, shuffleboard, putt putt, beach access, and all of other lovely things that this community has to offer. Take a stroll on the most beautiful mile, take a dip in the community pool, read a book on the pier, and simply slow down and bask in the beauty of the Lake Erie shoreline.

Our beautiful, charming, 1920 home is located inside the gates of Lakeside. It is directly adjacent to Cherry Park which provides beautiful outdoor space, a playground and ample parking.

Out home has been lovingly maintained for generations. Our flooring is original 100+ year old hardwood. The floor in our recent addition boasts reclaimed century old wood that was recovered and reused in our home that creates a perfect match of the original floor.

We offer 3 bedrooms upstairs and a sleeping space on the main level.
There are 2 full baths in the house one on each level. The main level has kitchen, living room, dining room and bonus living room space that leads out to our private back patio.

We comfortably sleep 11 in beds with linens provided! Steps away from breathtaking sunrises and sunsets over Lake Erie. Relax and unwind after a day of activities on our private patio while you grill dinner! Plenty of parking.

We are close to everything that Lakeside and the Lake Erie Islands have to offer. Just a few minute drive to ferries for Put in Bay, and Kelly's Island. Short drive to Cedar Point, downtown Marblehead, Port Clinton, Sandusky and all the fun on the lake. Beaches, fishing, boating....

During the summer season your stay gives you access to so much! Pool, splash pad, beach area, parks, sailing, paddleboards, fishing dock, basketball, tennis, pickleball, mini-golf, shuffleboard, art classes, seminars, movie theatre, ice cream, coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, all right here in Lakeside! There is something for all ages.

Bicycles, golf carts and walking are the main modes of transportation in Lakeside.

We provide bikes and scooter for guest use. We have several bikes suitable for kids over 10 and razor scooters for smaller kids.

We also provide tennis rackets, balls, pickle ball paddles and other outdoor toys.

Rentals are a weekly minimum during summer Mid June-Labor Day. Shorter stays are available throughout the spring and fall.

Our cottage has two queen bedrooms, one bunk room with 5 twins (4 bunks, 1 trundle), one more room with a twin. Two full bathrooms. Furnished kitchen, dining room with large table and a living room with smart TV and fireplace. The washer and dryer are located in the rear of the kitchen. There is a bonus space available in season (Memorial Day-Labor Day). It is a converted garage apartment. It has a queen bed-living area, kitchenette, and full bathroom.

The space
This gorgeous villa is practically brand new with three large bedrooms, including one with a bunkbed (twin over full and a trundle), (it sleeps four), one with a queen bed, and the primary with a king bed and en suite. The large open kitchen, dining and living area is a great space for friends and family to gather. The kitchen seats eight comfortably and has eight place settings. A coffee machine will greet you on those vacation mornings. The front deck is a great spot to hang out and includes patio furniture for relaxing. An active bald eagle nest is within view of the deck.
The clubhouse is 100 feet away and includes a pool, lounges, workout area and saunas. Cedar Point can be seen from Waterview and is a short 30 minute car ride or 10 minute boat ride away. The Lake Erie Island ferry boats are also very close, the ferries can take you to Put in Bay and Kelly’s island.
