The 3&5 yr olds were thrilled with the unreal number of toys. It was awesome! We were only missing a portable crib/crib, but we just bought one and will gift to our nephew & wife. Owners said they’d get one for us, so that was nice. Btw…we loved the kcups! As a pet owner I understand how hard it is to figure out travel arrangements with a pet. I DO NOT charge for a deposit or a pet fee - (this never make sense to me as a dog parent). Pet's are our children. I am keeping the policy in place until a guest decides to not follow the rules.
If pet's are left unattended and have separation anxiety please do you best to make sure they do not damage the home.
Let's please keep it simple and just watch after them.

This 1910 Craftsman Bungalow boasts original woodwork, a large front porch for relaxing and a backyard with many birds. The house is situated on Historic Doty Island with 4,000 residents. A grill and 4 bicycles ( 2 mens/ 2 womens)are in the garage for you to tour the Island on. We have many bike trails nearby. Walking distance to restaurants and micro-brews are just a 5 minute walk over the bridge.

This home is well suited for family and friends traveling together or meeting up for some time together. It has three separate bedrooms and two full baths. No one has to sleep on the couch or wait for everyone to go to bed! The drive way has plenty of room to accommodate larger vehicles and trailers. The home has onsite access to Lake Winnebago. You can launch your non-motorized watercraft from the dock or launch your motorized watercraft from the Jefferson Park public boat launch within eyesight of the house. After that use the boatlift and dock at the house. Jefferson Park offers softball fields, playground, public swimming pool and walking paths along the lake. Plenty of room for the kids to spread out, be loud, and play hard! Downtown Menasha is within walking distance and offers a quaint downtown with local shops and restaurants. If airplanes are your fancy check out the EAA museum in Oshkosh - world class aviation! There are many items left from previous guest such as salt, sugar, coffee filters, dishwasher detergent, charcoal and lighter fluid, however, we do not keep an inventory and will not be able to inform you ahead of time. The train runs 4-5 times a day about 1500 feet behind the property across the street and is relaxing once you get used to it. Some guests have even told us it was a romantic reminder of childhood. The first train in the am is usually around 615 am. Guests who stay more than a day or two claim the train actually helps them go into a deeper state of sleep like when a thunderstorm does the same thing. A great, albeit, hypnosis technique called stepping down.

NOTE: 3 times each year lake flies hatch. They do not bite, however they are a nuisance. Check out internet Lake Winnebago lake flies.

Lawn mowing takes place 1 time per week so vehicles in the driveway must be far right close to fence for lawn service access to the back yard. Mowing between 9AM-4PM weekdays. Someone will knock to let you know they are there to mow.
Snow days a crew may knock on your door for vehicle moving in order to clear the snow in winter.
Hot Tub guy maintains the hot tub many times per month. He will knock on the door to let you know he is there and if you are using the hot tub he will return another time.

Guest access
You'll have access to the entire house during your stay. (Sans a few closets/drawers/cupboards needed to store our personal belongings. No access to garage or boathouse)
The swimming pool will be available mid May- the end of September and heated on request (addl. fee to keep it heated. No pets in the pool) Make yourself at home!
