The accommodation was first class and felt like home after 2 nights and very peaceful and quiet. We were within walking distance of the tram, which was inexpensive, so used that to travel into Bordeaux. Walking back late at night felt safe. Nothing was too much trouble for our host, who made us a very tasty breakfast each morning outside on the covered terrace overlooking the gorgeous garden.
