The host family is very friendly and helpful, but not ‘invasive’. They have gone above and beyond to try to ensure that everything you need is available. The appliances, cookware and dishes are all good quality, as are the linens. The room with the queen bed is very small - barely room to walk around the bed - but the living area with kitchen/dining/sitting area is open and has plenty of seating. Honestly, if you’re visiting this area you’re not going to be spending that much time sitting around inside anyway and there is a nice patio area with a grill and outdoor table and chairs where you can sit and relax and enjoy the fresh air. We would definitely stay here again!"

The historic views continue with a 5-minute walk to several eateries, a brewery and two distilleries in quaint “Old West” downtown complete with wooden sidewalks and storefronts.. This is a perfect location with quick and easy access to regional attractions & outdoor recreation.

Like the setting of a Hallmark movie, this adorable little farmhouse is set back behind a classic white post-and-rail fence, where you’ll be welcomed by the sight of a firepit surrounded by six cheerful red Adirondack chairs as you roll up the driveway. A wonderful spot for reconnecting and resetting. Bring your favorite beverage and your best stories!

Just outside the front door of the home, you’ll find a low wooden deck furnished with an umbrella dining table for four and lit by a string of festive party lights. Have a hearty meal in that fresh Rocky Mountain air!

French doors open wide into a warm, homey dining area with a table for six, just steps away from a breakfast bar incorporated into the kitchen counter that seats three. In one corner of the dining area, you’ll find a plump armchair beside the window. Consider it your reading nook!

From the dining area you have a clear view over the breakfast bar and into the clean, upbeat country kitchen. Enjoy preparing home-cooked meals with a suite of full-size, stainless-steel appliances that includes a refrigerator/freezer, a range with cooktop and oven, and a dishwasher. They blend beautifully with the carefully-selected farmhouse touches, like butcher block countertops, a deep apron sink, and a combination of open shelving, cabinets and drawers for storage.

-Please be respectful and aware of the noise levels (especially after quiet hours) with the neighbors when coming and going
-Cigarettes/Vaping outside only. Please use the ashtray for your cig butts and please don't throw them on the property. No weed/other drugs brought into the suite or smoked on or around the property at any time
-This property is not suitable for parties/events/gatherings to maintain a peaceful atmosphere for neighbors and surrounding areas. This is to ensure compliance with local regulations and prevent overcrowding. *If you wish to have visitors over during your stay, please message me first to approve ($10 a visitor per day $30 overnight per night)
-No open flame indoors like candles, scent burners etc

- "Extremely welcoming, maintained and full transparency of expectations. There were in fact guidelines listed around the unit for everything from the shower to the T.V. and they were definitely welcome overall. Clean space, great location with amenities close by. All utilities were present other than a full oven, which caused some creativity in cooking, but between the flat griddle, the air fryer and the microwave, we made due. The only critical comment id leave for future guests is that this is a lower level in a house that functions as an apartment. It was definitely unexpected, but was not an issue beyond hearing people upstairs. Overall, 5 stars, it was well worth the time and money we spent there and the hosts were very helpful and welcoming."

This charming little home was built in the 1930's located in downtown historical Monument. Perfect for hosting couples looking for a weekend get away, or a small family looking to experience small-town colorful Colorado. It is 850' square foot with two bedrooms each with a queen-sized bed. Home includes a full kitchen with a gas stove and fridge, laundry washer and dryer, a covered portico outside with a grill as well as parking on the property for up to 2 cars. GREAT LOCATION in the tri-lakes area, bring your bikes and hiking shoes and enjoy the great outdoors. Monument Lake (closest), Palmer Lake and, Woodmoor lake accommodates paddle boarding, fishing and kayaking (Not provided). There are many excellent hiking locations; Mt. Herman Trailhead 5.8 miles away, Palmer Lake Reservoir 3.6 miles away, Spruce Mountain open space 7.4 miles away and, the New Santa Fe Trailhead that stretches 17 miles across the front range. Walking in or out of this unit is covered by the deck above. Monument Lake is just out our back yard fence double gate. We have kayaks paddles and life jackets available. We live upstairs on the main level! Central A/C was installed in September 2019. Located just 1/2 mile from downtown Historic Monument and all it has to offer, plus just a 10 minute drive to Palmer Lake village, 20 minutes to Castle Rock Outlet shopping, 20 minutes to Garden of the Gods, Manatou Springs, and Old Colorado City and many other wonderful attractions . 2nd bedroom has Queen size sleeps 2. The bathrooms is large as well and comes stocked with plenty of towels and other things you may forget like makeup wipes, toothpaste and mouthwash! Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook full meals and Cheryl even provides essential like coffee, filters, creamers, etc. I was excited to see ziploc bags because who can remember those on a trip! The futon in the living room is very comfortable. 2 of our teenagers slept on it all week and were completely happy! And the favorite for ALL of us was the pool table. Very much a crowd pleaser! But if you don’t like pool, you can place the ping pong table on top! There is also family games and books provided. There is nothing lacking in this property! And the hosts are top notch! If we return to the area, we will absolutely stay here again!"

Palmer Lake is known for its wildlife; who will visit during your stay? Our farmhouse is close enough to town to be convenient but far enough away you’ll see the stars at night and enjoy the peaceful quiet you’d expect in Colorado. Palmer Lake has many wonderful mom & pop restaurants, the lake and trails to explore all minutes from our front door.

Guests will have access to the entire LOWER unit as well as a private patio with access to a SHARED backyard with play equipment. Additional waiver to be signed to play on the play equipment. Please note this is a basement unit so there is potential for noise from the upstairs guests. We do ask for a 10 pm quiet hour. Please keep in mind I’m happy to remind upstairs guests of noise level but I can’t be responsible for upstairs guests. When booking this unit please be aware there may be upstairs guests. This is a LOWER unit! There will likely be noise. If you are sensitive to noise or want complete silence I would suggest you book a different unit. But if beauty meeting value is what you're after this is your perfect spot!

This spacious walk out unit is located in the lower part of our home. The upper unit can be rented as well to add sleeping for 16 more people. This lower unit has a king bed and full size futon bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed and twin over queen bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom. A full size bathroom with large shower is also in this unit. Your children will love our cherry blossom climbing tree and swing in the living area. Full kitchen and dining room as well as a gazebo and dining area outside. Washer and dryer too. We have provided it all!

Plenty of parking on property.

This is a lower unit with an upper unit above. Keep in mind there may be guests above you. NO recreational drug use of ANY kind on property. We are a pet FREE home. Cigarette smoking allowed outside only with no trace left behind. A generous starter supply of consumables will be provided.

- "My parents, my husband and toddler and I stayed here for a few days. We loved how home(y) it felt. It’s sooooo clean. And it was kid friendly which was a huge bonus when traveling with a busy, curious toddler! The shower is incredible. Beds are comfortable. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. The kitchen is well stocked with plates and pots and pans. All the appliances worked well. The host was great at communicating! The keyless entry pad was a little confusing at times but overall easy. We could hear people above us on occasion if they walked heavy footed. There’s plenty of parking. We enjoyed the peaceful environment!"

If you need to get away our Scandinavian inspired lodge is for you. Nestled in the trees next to Nat’l Forest at the base of Chautauqua Mtn with miles of trails along the Front Range - yet still close to the quaint town of Palmer Lake with easy access to I-25- Mod Lodge Palmer Lake is a privately accessed guest suite just waiting to host you. Soak in the private hottub after trailtime or yoga then enjoy wine (or s’mores) by the gas fire pit before curling up in the comfy king-sized bed w/ organic bedding.

Mod Lodge Palmer Lake is a privately accessed & locked off one bedroom/one bath/kitchenette (small bar sized fridge/microwave -no stove) just under 500 sq foot apartment attached to our Scandinavian inspired home (finished in Fall 2022). You will likely not see us as our accommodations are on the other side of the house and as experienced hosts, we are here only if you want or need us. By staying in the lodge, you have full, private access to a sparkling new hot tub, natural gas fire pit and both a covered and uncovered outdoor area (lower level only) so you can soak in the views. There are no shared spaces here- your area is completely yours.

Our little spot is accessed by a dirt road which dead ends at the trail head (which leads to hundreds of trails for hiking, mountain biking and running along the Front Range) and is nestled beside National
Forest tucked under both Raspberry and Chautauqua Mountains. It’s very quiet back here! And the star gazing is unbelievable due to the darkness. If you do want to leave, the historic quaint town of Palmer Lake- with 5 restaurants- is only 1.3 miles away- and easily accessed by I25- and Monument for groceries/gas is 3 miles. (We are definitely off the beaten path).

The Denver airport is approximately an hour’s drive to the north and the Colorado Springs’ airport is approximately 45 min. to the south.

The elevation is 7,300’ so winters can be snowy -an AWD is recommended! Come prepared to enjoy the great outdoors as no matter the season, the trails bring amazing beauty and wildlife.

As experienced hosts, we are only here if you need us or want to get to know more about the area and share a drink! We have lived in the community since 1996 and can provide you with any recommendations! Please note- we try to stay quiet and out of your way but if you ever hear us and we are bothering you, please do not hesitate to let us know!

Please note-
The lodge is accessed by both a stone pathway and flight of steps so you will have to carry your luggage (won’t be able to pull a suitcase with wheels). If you need help with luggage, just ask!
Hot water can take some time to heat up but once it is hot- it is endless!
The lodge is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible due to the entry.
Dirt roads with limited to no lighting must be traveled to find Mod Lodge Palmer Lake. Further, the winters can be snowy due to the elevation of 7,300’. A 4wheel drive vehicle is ideal during winter conditions. Please watch the weather and plan accordingly.
Pets are not allowed. We do have a dog on site.
Location is not ideal for young children.
Smoking indoors is not permitted and EXTREME caution must be taken outdoors due to high fire danger in the forest.
Mod Lodge Palmer Lake is truly mountain living- you will likely see deer, fox, turkeys and maybe even more! There could be encounters with wildlife so guests should take precautions. The forest brings insects as well so despite our best attempts you may encounter a bug or 2 depending the season and rains.
Mod Lodge Palmer Lake is a separate privately accessed apartment - but is attached to our home. We do live here so you may once and awhile hear us but we will stay out of your way! Also, we do have a puppy who is fairlyquiet as well but sometimes see wild animals run by the house and bark :)

The property is almost 3 acres and is adjacent to a ranch with 2 lovely beautiful horses, Cagney and Lacey. They love carrots and granola if you would like to say hi and give them a snack. Play a round of golf on our prestigious course, Kings Deer. Take a walk to the community playground or take a bike ride through the miles of trails in Fox Run Park. Explore all the Monument breweries and distilleries. There is no shortage of awesome here.

Easy to drive everywhere or take an Uber or Lift if you are visiting our wonderful local eateries. I am an avid motorcycle rider and I have a beautiful Harley Davidson Ultra Classic that is available for rent if desired. Colorado has some of the best riding roads in the world.

There are 2 bedrooms in the unit. The master bedroom is a large suite that has a work desk and enough room for the pack n' play crib or the queen size air mattress if you prefer. The 2nd bedrooms offers a queen size bed with a work desk as well. There is a full size laundry room with washer / dryer and drying rack if needed. It's a shared laundry room with your own private entrance. The Hot Tub is new, beautiful and inviting. Take a soak and star gaze.

Colorado State zoning laws do not allow for a gas or electric stove/oven/range to be permanently installed in a secondary subterranean kitchen. However, there is a convection oven as part of the microwave that will operate just like a traditional oven with all the proper pans. There is also an induction stove that is cool to the touch but will operate the same as a traditional stovetop. There is also an indoor grill and 2 large capacity outdoor grills.

There is a shared laundry room that requires a key that hangs in the hallway closet. There is also a laundry basket for your use. The laundry room is located past the hot tub to the left (doggy door attached to it but no doggy's to worry about). There is a supply of detergent for your use. To operate the machines, simply select the program you want, place the detergent in the tray, close the door, and hit start. If in any doubt please call us. If you need a drying rack there is one attached to the wall.

You will find amazing memorabilia throughout the suite. Most of these pieces are One Of A Kind and irreplaceable. Almost all are autographed and maintain a high value. Please enjoy visiting with them but do not remove, handle or play with.

The arcade console has over 100 classic games. Select the game by scrolling the joy stick and pressing the number of players. To restart or end the game and return to the menu press both white 1 player and 2 player buttons at the same time. There are NO pause buttons, start from where you left off button, codes to just win, interaction with other players via phone nor internet. This is just you against the game - old school. So don’t get frustrated if all the high scores say DAD (That’s me). LOL

You can use the televisions for music and YES! Karaoke!. Select you tube on the tv above the shuffleboard, search karaoke, and belt it out!! All televisions are pre set with Netflix, Prime, Disney+. TVs with cable, just press and hold the blue microphone button and speak into the remote to get those channels.

There are 6 televisions throughout the home. There are separate controls for the Cable and the DVD. They all have Firesticks with all the usual access. The Theater has a 90" 3D TV with full cable access, Blue Ray DVD, Dolby Digital Paradigm Surround Sound! With all of that going on, there could be some confusion with the remote controls. Feel free to call for additional help with that.

We have an outdoor hot tub available for your use. Please note that there is a little bit of a stroll that is needed to get to it. There is path lighting and stairs to climb to the entrance from the deck. BE CAREFUL… the steps and everything else can be slippery. The hot tub has a safety strap to prevent the wind from blowing the cover open. Undo the strap but leave it attached as is. Fold the cover back onto itself once then get in and lift up to set it on its support bracket. The hot tub will be chemically balanced upon your arrival. However, If you want to use it more than once during your stay take a small cup of the bio-friendly chemical with you to put into the filter when you exit the tub. This will keep the water fresh and ph balanced. The tub is kept at 102 degrees. This can be changed by using the touch screen. There are vast arrays of lighting and water features available by rolling through the touch screen. Feel free to take a beverage in a PLASTIC cup with you to enjoy while you soak. Please do not go below 95 degrees or higher than 104 degrees. Keep in mind that it can get cold and windy in Colorado especially since we are close to 8000 feet above sea level. There are spa luxury robes, antibacterial sandals and green towels to take with you on your stroll. I recommend you wear warmer clothing on extremely cold days. You will have a minute or two when you exit the tub before your body temperature will return to normal. It’s a fun and exhilarating experience. You will be star struck with how amazing the sky lights up at night. Be sure to close and latch the safety strap immediately upon exit. Hot Tub is for use by the number of people authorized in your Property Rental Agreement that are 12 years old or older only. The Hot Tub is private – use at your own risk. NO DIVING ALLOWED, NO ALCOHOL, NO GLASS AND NO FOOD IN THE AREA.

Have a patio with a mountain view along with the outdoor swing with a good mountain view. We live upstairs on the main floor and won't be using any of the bedrooms or bathrooms downstairs. Guests will have complete privacy. When you arrive we will have the key ready for you to enter from the patio door. We make sure we give you a clean house so you can enjoy your stay. As we share the place we expect the guest, not to Party or play loud music as we have a tea cup-poodle staying with us and keep the place clean. Please do not smoke or vape inside the house. We will provide you with breakfast [cereals and milk] along with coffee and tea. You can park on the roadside near our front entrance. We can help you guide thru if needed upon arrival as we stay on the main level. We are ok to have guests bring their pets [Only Dogs] please limit pets to 2 with $50 [non-refundable fee]. NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
Our neighborhood is unincorporated El Paso County bordering the Town of Monument, not “out in the boonies.” You’ll see houses on the eastern horizon and rural properties to the west, but our property is large and Monument Creek flows year-round, serving as the separator between the rural and residential civilizations. On the map we’re just 2 miles from town, but there are not defined walkways or sidewalks to make town an easy walk. We strongly suggest vehicles during your stay, preferably with some clearance to enter in and exit the property.

SLEEP ARRANGEMENTS AND DEDICATED WORKSPACE

This basement apartment has two bedrooms with queen-sized beds. These rooms each have a dedicated workspace UNLESS a twin XL or toddler-size bed is requested. Workspaces then fits nicely in the walkin closets

BATHROOM

We have a hairdryer, 3 extra rolls of toilet paper, essentials, and cleaning supplies for the bathroom under the bathroom sink. Please use the black Make-up facial towels for your face and not the white or yellow towels. While we do have Lysol/Clorox wipes and baby wipes for your convenience, please do not flush them down the toilet. That will clog the toilets and cause them to overflow.

BEDDING

We have an extra set of queen sheets, extra pillows, extra bedding for either the toddler bed or twin XL bed if you requested it in each bedroom closet. Each bedroom has two comforters and 6 bed pillows on the queen beds.

FOR KIDS

We have plenty of toys, books, a highchair, a booster chair, bassinet, tricycle, and first 4 wheel bike in the closet below the stairs. We have a rip stik, small kid's bike and a slightly larger kid's bike in our garage if you'd like to borrow these items. Also, we have a WEALTH of crafting and coloring supplies, and kids games in our garage. Please let us know if you would like access to these items for your kids. We would be happy to accommodate!

COOKING

We have several spices and condiments on hand. We know it's a pain to have to buy a whole new package of these things to cook with during a very short stay and then have to leave the majority of it behind. If you don't see it in the kitchen, please message us, and we'd be happy to supply it for your convenience. We may already have it, or we should add it to the Airbnb for you and future guests. So please help us improve this Airbnb by letting us know what you need.

INDUCTION BURNERS

We have two induction burners. You can ONLY USE ONE to cook or boil water at a time. One burner can be used to keep food warm while cooking on the other burner.

COOKING/GRILLING OUTSIDE

We have a butane two-burner stove and grill on the patio. Do NOT bring the outside butane stove inside. It is not safe to cook with the butane stove indoors. We have a replacement propane and butane tanks in the storage bin outside. If you would like help replacing any of them, please let us know.

HEATERS

We have one heater in the bedroom next to the bathroom and another for the Living room/Kitchen area. You can not run both heaters in both bedrooms at the same time. You CAN run one heater in the living room and the other in one of the bedrooms at the same time. You must turn off the heaters when using the kitchen appliances, dryer, and hair dryer. You can only use one high-powered cooking appliance at a time. Having too many electrical appliances running on electricity at the same time will trip the breaker.

FIRE PIT

We have a propane fire pit on the patio. If it runs out of propane, please let us know. We have a replacement on hand for your use. If you would like help replacing it, please send us a message. We have marshmallows, roasting sticks, chocolate, and graham crackers in the pantry.

UPSTAIRS DECK

The upstairs deck is a shared space. You may use it any time you like.

MAIN KITCHEN

We understand that you may want or need to use a full kitchen with an oven and 4-burner gas stove. We'd be happy to accommodate if we can. Just let us know so we can make the appropriate arrangements.

THE SPACE
A fresh and new house in a small subdivision in Monument, Colorado. You will have a shared entrance, and your bedroom and bath are on the main floor. Access the home via convenient keyless entry. Shared spaces include: a modern fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living areas, casual dining, another more private living area with French doors in the basement, laundry facilities, and a backyard for relaxing and enjoying the sunsets and views.

BEDROOM AND BATH1
The bedroom is clean and modern with premium white bedding and a new hybrid Serta mattress, and Temur Pedic pillows. For longer stays, there is under bed storage and plenty of velvet hangers in the closet. The tech device charging headboard and desk give plenty of options for connectivity and working. You have plenty of relaxation options including a comfortable swivel chair and 32" Smart TV on a swivel mount. In the closet, there is a mini fridge with a freezer, microwave, and Keurig for your convenience. I provide a few coffee pods, tea, sugar and cream. Your bedroom has a separate lock and key for when you are away. There is a squeaky clean adjacent full bath for your exclusive use with plenty of storage, towels, wash clothes, shower wash, shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer.

LIVING ROOMS
You'll have access to airy and modern shared living spaces featuring comfortable, stylish decor, and all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, inviting, and family centered. The living room features a comfy couch, lamps, 3 chairs, and a 52” TV with Apple TV so you can browse and login to your favorite apps like Netflix and Hulu. It is open to the dining area and kitchen.

KITHCEN and DINING
The kitchen is fully stocked for making delicious meals during your stay. There is a stainless-steel refrigerator with freezer and water filter, a gas range stove top, double oven, microwave, Cuisinart toaster/air fryer/convection oven, and blender. There is also a gas grill with grill tools. There is drip coffee maker and kettle.

There are pots, pans, bakeware, baking sheets, mixing bowls, food storage containers, cutting boards, a strainer, knives, measuring cups, measuring spoons, a mixing spoon, slotted spoon, a masher, peeler, pizza cutter, a whisk, oven mitts, kitchen towels, a can opener, and wine opener. There are some cleaning supplies including all-purpose cleaner, sponges, dish soap, hand soap, extra trash bags, and some paper towels.

LAUNDRY
There is a washer and dryer off of the living area with soap loaded in the dispenser for you to use.

OUTSIDE
There is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy! The home has a spacious yard with a dining table and chairs, propane firepit area with chairs, and a propane grill. Out the back gate is a walking path around the irrigation lake behind the house. The views and sunsets are breath-taking.

Located in a peaceful neighborhood with easy access to shopping, parks, and highways. Just 20 minutes from Colorado Springs tourist attractions. This private unshared 1 bedroom suite is in a home near Monument, the US Air Force Academy, Ford Amphitheatre in Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, Denver Tech Center, Restaurants/Coffee Shops/Brewery, Spruce Mountain, Fox Run Regional Park, Pike Nat. The space
This private unshared apartment suite that is attached to a private home has its own private entrance and feels just like home! It's a garden level apartment (NOT a basement) that walks out to a private patio with backyard space located one mile from the town of Monument on a beautiful treed lot - home to many wildlife animals, including birds, bunnies, deer, and an occasional bear or bobcat! Even though you'll feel like you're out in the country, local restaurants and shopping are only 5 minutes away!

The apartment is cleaned using Covid19 cleaning proticals and consists of one bedroom with a very comfortable queen size bed and television. The space has been freshly painted and the kitchenette and bath have newly upated tile surfaces and fixtures.

The kitchenette is fully stocked and includes 2 coffee makers (drip & Keurig), microwave, refrigerator, and large toaster oven. (Please note there is no stove/oven/range or dishwasher appliance, but a Crock-Pot and electric skillet is provided.) Coffee/Tea is provided for your first few mornings!

Bathroom includes a large shower (no tub), with shampoo, conditioner, soap, hair dryer, and luxury linens.

The living area is spacious with a comfortable leather couch (no pullout bed) and lounge chair, 52" big screen cable TV, and dining set. Games and movie DVD's are also there for your enjoyment. There are ceiling fans in both the bedroom and the living room. (There is no air-conditioning. It is not needed because of the altitude -7,300ft. Naturally cool!)

There is NO washer or dryer available in the space.

Your private patio also has an outdoor eating area, as well a nearby porch swing for your outdoor relaxation and viewing pleasure - a perfect place to sit and have your morning cofee while watch the deer stroll by. A shared BBQ is also available.

The owner lives in the main area of the home and welcomes you to feel at home when you arrive. This home is your host's full-time private residence. Please treat the home and all of the belongings inside as you would if you were a guest of any close friend or family.

Please note, there is a strict no smoking policy on the property, both inside and outside. There are 3 security cameras outside - two in back and one in front.

Off street parking is provided and you'll have your own private entrance. Owners of the home occupy the upstairs, so can assist you with whatever you need. The space
This warm and quaint studio guesthouse offers privacy and all the comforts of home. Enjoy an active day outdoors with easy access to the Greenland open space and the Santa Fe Trail. Enjoy hiking, mountain biking, or paddle boarding and then spend the evening exploring the local restaurants and watering holes. End the day in front of the wood stove or private outdoor deck at sunset.

Powered by solar electric and heated with wood harvested from the property, everything you need is in 330 square feet. The full kitchen features vintage appliances. One queen sized bed sits by the wood stove, the other full sized bed is nestled in a cozy loft. The desk area is spacious for working or writing. The TV has Dish satellite with all premium channels.

Guest access
Guests are welcome to bring their dogs or horses for an additional fee. Dogs - $10 per day up to two. Horses - additional fee will be determined based on need - $35-$50 per day. The property is set up to accommodate up to 2 dogs and/or 2 horses.

We have a paddle board we will rent to guests for $20 - Palmer Lake is small and a good place to try it out!

Other things to note
Children are welcome, but require supervision, as it is not child proofed and the sleeping loft has a steep ladder.

The BNSF train comes through town and blows its whistle - sometimes in the middle of the night. It’s a quarter mile from the cabin but has bothered some guests.

Please be careful about use of wood stove.

Dogs should be on leash or in the dog yard.

Very roomy with 10 foot ceilings throughout. Large bedroom suite with walk-in closet and full bathroom. Living room and kitchenette have beautiful hardwood floors. Queen bed in bedroom and sleeper sofa in living room.

You are just 8 minutes, 3 miles, from north gate of Air Force Academy and 5 minutes from I-25. The Colorado Rockies are at your doorstep!

We have lived in the Colorado Springs area since 1994 and have raised our family here. Our children and grand children all live within a 40 minute drive and also call beautiful Colorado their home. The small community of Monument has been our home since 1995. We enjoy camping, hiking, fishing and hunting in the Colorado outdoors. Mary is a local artist and you may start to see some of her artwork soon featured in The Charleston. We both were born and grew up in Wisconsin and have meandered to IL and OR before making Colorado our home.

We have lived at The Heights at Jackson Creek in Monument since 2005. We purchased this home a block from where we had lived because of the attached "mother-in-law" apartment that we desired to turn into an AirBNB apartment for others to enjoy this beautiful Colorado community. The Charleston has become a top rated stay in the Colorado Springs region earning us Super Host status.
