Located with a view of Chesbro Reservoir, Mt Uhmunum, Mt. Hamilton, and nature but only 10 minutes from Morgan Hill you will find your escape from the hustle and bustle of Silicon Valley! This private tent camp is perched on a hilltop at 1,000 ft elevation with 360 views of nature and here you will find a piece of heaven.
Tent is equipped with one queen bed that sleeps. Additional sleeping can be accommodated outside if you bring your own tent. Propane Heater is provided (guests to provide disposable propane cylinders). Picnic table and deck with 2 Adirondack chairs for enjoying the view. Non-flush Camp toilet and solar shower are provided.

Dirt Road is easy to access with any vehicle. The road is 1.5 miles long and is a one way dirt road with a 500' elevation climb.
This is a campsite and you must bring your own bedding, food (and an ice chest to store it in), and camping equipment. Also the camp toilet uses sanitary bags to collect waste and need to be discarded into the trash can. Trash must be deposited at the property exit upon leaving. Water for cleanup and washing is provided via water containers that you can pickup and fill at the well on your way up to the site. Please bring your own potable water.

If you like camping, the Airstream is surrounded by redwood trees with views of El Toro Mt. & our vineyard. Dine at your picnic table under a 100 year old oak tree & watch the sunset from your private deck or hammock. The Airstream is very secluded giving our guests a quiet retreat to enjoy the views and sounds of nature.
The Airstream has bathroom with a sink, small shower and toilet for LIQUIDS ONLY. The restroom for solids is a short walk up to the house. There you have your own private toilet and sink located next to the house with it’s own private entrance.
The Airstream has a twin bed and double bed futon. For groups larger than 3, there is plenty of room to pitch tents. The table folds out and can be used for either a desk or dining table. Wifi was hard wired in January 2022 so there should be 100% connectivity
One guest in 100 mentioned that a 6ft tall guest may have an issue with the height of the Airstream and that the RV is close by. Please note that the RV is never rented and that it is stored there and the vintage Airstreams does have lower headroom.

Llagas-Uvas is an unincorporated census county division (CCD) located on the eastern side of the Santa Cruz Mountains in southwest Santa Clara County, California.[3] The area covers approximately 102 square miles (260 km2), much of it open space [4] and contains the Uvas and Chesbro reservoirs, as well as the Calero, Uvas Canyon, Rancho Cañada del Oro,[5] and Mount Madonna county parks.

As a result of the favorable Mediterranean climate, there are many wineries in the area, including Dorcich Family Vineyards, Sycamore Creek, Martin Ranch, Hecker Pass, Fernwood Cellars, Fortino, Kirigin Cellars, Solis, and Sarah's Vineyard. There are also several equestrian centers in the area, including Calero Ranch Stables, Cevalo Riding Academy, Five Star Farms, Great Strides, Hidden Creek, Legacy Oaks, and Bodfish Creek Ranch.

As of the 2010 US Census, the population was 4,014 residents, of whom 67.1% were non-Hispanic white, 20.1% Hispanic, 8.5% Asian, and 4.3% of other races, with a median age of 45.5 years old.[6] As of 2009, the median income was $104,378, and the median home price was $991,773.[7]

Very Large Detached Guest House on a beautiful property that is in the middle of the Morgan Hill Mountains. This Guest House is separate. The Guest House has 2 separate rooms. 2 large bedrooms and each with its own large bathroom. Wake to the sounds of birds. If you have more then you will have to set up the Queen-sized Aero Bed next to the Regular Bed. We live in the Main House that is located separately on the same property and are available for questions about the area, or just to leave you alone to enjoy your peace and quiet.
