The owner was kind, and helpful, and responded to anything we needed in a timely manner. The trains were easy to navigate and, again, we felt safe and made it back and forth to NYC with ease. - "This property is a short 10-15 min walk to the light rail train to the exchange station. This then takes you to Penn Station in Manhattan, which by the way is the WTC transportation hub. My husband and I were traveling with our teenagers. The king size bed with comfy sheets, pillows and blankets was clean and fresh and in its own room. This room has a huge walk in closet that we used for luggage and as a changing room. The kids slept in a bunk bed with a twin on top and a queen on the bottom. We had 6 people and utilized the cot which has a memory foam mattress that looked and smelled brand new, it was perfect for my 14 year old son. This place is a mix between old refurbished and new modern. The shower was brand new. Nice bright white hotel style towels. Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and lotion provided. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. The neighborhood is walkable, we walked at 10pm back from the train station and felt safe. Others were walking with families as well. There is a small convenience store with fresh fruit and a bakery close by. Door dash and Uber are easily utilized. I think the train station will even take you to Newark if you were coming from the airport. Saturday around 1130 am we walked to the train station and stopped at a street festival a few blocks away from the property. Beware it is on the 2nd floor so you do have to climb inside stair case which is slim and steep as the actual home itself is older. Great communication!"
