- "The apartment is absolutely lovely. Set in a very quiet area of Playa Honda with clear views to the beach and only a five minute drive from the airport. There was no disturbance from the sound of aeroplanes though. The beach is quiet, with soft sand once you've walked over a small area of stones, the sea is fairly flat and it is within just a few steps of your back door! The apartment was spotless and is much better than the photos suggest. The balcony is a lovely sun trap and there is a constant breeze which is lovely. The supermarket is just 5 minutes walk away within a mall that has lots of shops. There are a number of restaurants nearby - some on the path that runs up the whole stretch of the island and others inland. Arricife was just a 40 minute walk up the paved coast path and was lovely to look around for an afternoon. Ana was the most wonderful, welcoming, friendly host and nothing was too much trouble. I cannot recommend Ana and her apartment highly enough. It really is an absolute gem of a place."

You also have easy access to the endless promenade that runs along the coast from Arrecife to Puerto del Carmen, crossing many coves and beaches, with numerous bars, restaurants and entertainment places for children and adults.

Check in normally after 3:00 pm and check out before 11:00 am. Ask before arrival and departure for possible exceptions.

Up to 9 people can stay, but no more guests are allowed than those originally indicated in the reservation (Organic Law 4/2015, of March 30, on the Protection of Citizen Security).

If traveling with children, check with the host. There are security doors available for them, as well as a high chair and a fence for the bed. As there is a swimming pool, being on the terraces children must be supervised at all times by a nearby adult. We decline all responsibility for breach of that rule.

The pool is cleaned weekly with natural products. It is mandatory to shower before using it in order to preserve the high quality of the water. Avoid running and jumping. No food or drinks are allowed inside it. Especially avoid entering with bottles or glasses. From November to April the pool can be heated on demand and for an extra charge. Please consult the owner at least one week before your arrival.

Patio chairs and lounge cushions should be stored inside the villa in the afternoon, to preserve their quality and to prevent animals (such as cats) from sleeping in them.

Remember that you are on an island, which means that almost everything has to be brought or produced in difficult conditions. Please make rational use of water and electricity.

Antonio was so helpful and accommodating in the lead up to the holiday and was waiting for us with a chilled bottle of cava on ice by the pool when we arrived. He had also left lots of groceries so that we were well supplied until we made it to the supermarket. The location is ideal for a relaxing stay. The supermarket is very well stocked in a fairly large shopping centre only a few minutes walk away, up to the top of the street then turn left. Down at the beach there were some nice bars and restaurants, although we were happy to relax in the villa most nights and barbecue. My daughter loved to lie in the hammock with her book and catch the breeze. The internal garden by the barbecue area is really lovely and there were even some grape vines in the sunny seated area leading from the barbecue. We were able to log into our Netflix and Amazon accounts on the smart tv and there are also a variety of other English speaking channels. We were delighted to have chosen this property, the front line view was even more spectacular than we had hoped for. The location was perfect for us, quiet yet convenient to all necessary amenities, the beach for example being literally a stones throw away. The property itself was very well maintained and quite spacious for a one bed and had all the relevant mod cons for cooking, if you felt like taking a night off from all the local restaurants which were always busy. We would like to return here sometime in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more laid back break."
