- "E 6th is a party street, if you don’t like noise, litter, etc., then don’t book around there, or just have earplugs handy. The loft was a spacious refurbished unit, a bit rough/rustic keeping some of the older fixtures while still being functional. It faced Brazos St, parking was an affordable rate at a parking lot right next to the building, real close walk. Check in was seamless, instructions were clear and timely. The place had all as advertised just be clear that there is only 1 bathroom (this is a 2 bedroom unit with a sofa bed in the living room, only space with a TV). The kitchen had basic equipment enough for a 4 guests stay. They provided paper towels, dish-soap and plenty of toilet paper and toiletries. Fridge was big, clean, and microwave, dishwasher, and stove were current, all functional and handy. Everything was clean, bathroom and linens were impecable. The mattresses were good, just a bit too soft for us. The balcony in a bedroom was cool to have. It is indeed loud, it was a Friday night just right before the Thanksgiving holiday but it’s probably a default loudness given this is one of the streets with most nightlife in Austin. The A/C and heater worked perfectly, and the water pressure in the shower was great. Improvements: I would update carpets and watch out towels cleaning, we noticed a big yellow stain on one. Provide more light in bedroom, send checkout instructions earlier as we got them way after we were gone. Diligent and courteous staff, cheers!"

You will have access to the entire rental, laundry, and shared pool area. The garage is reserved for the front house and cannot be accessed or used for parking.

Please note that while we strive to provide our guests with an enjoyable pool experience, the availability of the pool may be subject to unforeseen circumstances such as maintenance, cleaning, or other issues beyond our control. We prioritize the safety and satisfaction of our guests, and sometimes this means the pool may not be accessible during your stay. We appreciate your understanding and will do our best to ensure any impact on your stay is minimized.

Other things to note
We have security cameras outside of our property at the entrances for added security and your peace of mind. We do not have any cameras inside, respecting our guests' privacy.

About the space:
Hard wood floors and original real wood paneling from the 60s make this home a true gem! Located in South Austin near S. First, access to food trailers and downtown is easy. We live easy here, no stress, just good food, good people and good times.

The space
This home is a long time artist owned space that is well preserved, cared for, partially renovated and personalized. Located in south central Austin and close to everything, it's a homey, cozy and down to earth space. It's got original hard wood floors and ceilings, a huge front porch (not pictured for privacy reasons) with a beautiful gigantic old wood table that some famous guy carved his name into in like 1890 or something. There is a yoga studio/craft room for creative projects, meditation or yoga practice. The kitchen has nice cabinets, an omega juicer, all-clad cookware, a vitamix and everything you could need if you plan to do any cooking or food prep. The living room has original wood paneling which is charming in a really weird way and I'm not allowed to paint it. Seriously. Classy.

We share a backyard with the fantastic artist/owner who is also my bff. He makes brilliant assemblage sculpture and you might get a private tour of his stuff if you're interested. There's a creepy shed in back yard occupied by yard tools and who knows what else. Hammock in back- please feel free to use it.

Guest access
You have full access to everything except for my bedroom because it's often messy. Feel free to use the kitchen as it was your own, just care for things and clean up. You are welcome to use the appliances, cookware and things like cream, olive oil, spices, butter or pretty much whatever. You are welcome to use the yoga room for yoga or whatever else you want, just leave it how you found it. When the weather is nice, the front porch and back yard are great outdoor spaces for reading or kicking back with a beverage or having a meal. If mosquitos bother you, there’s deet free and deet full repellant options on the shelf and a fan you can turn on- they cant fight the wind

During your stay
I love people and I love travelers. Everyone and every time is unique, our interaction will depend upon your wishes and life circumstances. I'm not always around. However, I'm always available to answer questions and help you make the most of your trip. I can also absolutely leave you alone if you need to focus or don't want my expert knowledge on all things in the universe.

CLEANING FEE: I've read a lot of criticism lately about cleaning fees so I thought I'd be transparent about mine. 100% of the cleaning fee goes to Kimberly, the wonderful woman who is on-call to clean my place prior to every guest. It takes her about 2 hours to do the laundry, and clean the bathroom and kitchen and its basically the same amount of work for a 1 night stays as it is for 4. She does a great job and I pay her a living wage of $35 per hour. I couldn't offer my space without her help and I appreciate her immensely. I hope you do too.

The space
This is a spacious, 1,100 sq. ft, casita/guesthouse where you can relax in peace or walk to most everything Austin has to offer.

To access, from the carport you'll enter via the gate and walk through the beautiful outdoor patio, where a shady tree grows up from the deck floorboards. Outdoor furniture offers seating for 8. Step through the expansive screened-in porch, and make your way into the casita.

Fully equipped kitchen and island with bar seating are open to the living room, complete with 40” flatscreen with YouTube tv, Netflix etc. In the kitchen, there's plenty of work space to cook a big meal or to assemble a picnic for a trek to Barton Springs. Accommodations also include a comfy, queen-sized sleeper sofa, large windows throughout, and a laundry area with washer and dryer.

Sizable master bedroom is located upstairs in the loft and features a luxe queen-size bed along with cool decor below a vaulted ceiling. Plenty of natural light, walk-in closet, and enough space for a blow-up mattress. Clean and elegant en suite bath has a stand-up rain shower.

We have a lifesource water system installed so you are drinking delicious filtered water throughout the house.

There is one security camera on the front door and one on the back porch. These are for your protection as well as ours (the hosts). They only turn on when motion is detected and do not operate 24/7.

Welcome to Little Allie, our spacious 1/1 garage apartment with dedicated access and parking. Snuggled up to a beautiful live oak, she's a quiet retreat just off S 1st St and a short walk to SoCo, Barton Springs, world-class Tex-Mex/BBQ, coffee shops, the Austin mural and 1.8 mi to ACL.

Little Allie features a full kitchen, queen bed, modern appliances, courtyard, balcony, guitar and workspace with 16" second monitor. You've found your Austin home!

The space
Step into Little Allie during the day, and the first thing you'll notice is all the natural light, as the walls in the living area are covered in windows. If you need some artificial light, they're also covered in light switches. You'll see.

Your main open space covers living, cooking, dining and working. If you tire of watching the wildlife from the windows, you can stream your favorite shows on a 55" TV.

We tried to give you the workspace we've always wanted in an Airbnb -- so there's a comfy desk chair, handy 16" second monitor, mouse, keyboard and multiple multi-dongles. There's even a laser printer in the closet -- for printing! On paper! With lasers!

The kitchen comes stocked with excessive everything and includes a gas range, oven, full set of spices, microwave, dishwasher and disposal, as well as an exceedingly large refrigerator.

Your bedroom features a queen bed, which is really great for laying down and going to sleep. If you’re not familiar with how beds work, don’t worry, we provide detailed instructions. There's also a TV for bedtime viewing.

The bathroom is headlined by a double vanity, a shower, and a toilet that, well, it’s a toilet! Actually, I take that back, the bathroom is headlined by Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper. Because you deserve it. And we love you.

Outside, you've got an upstairs deck love seat, which is a great spot to enjoy your breakfast in the morning shade. The little courtyard by the stairs has the better shade late in the day, with some comfy disc chairs, canopy and fun cactus friends. There are a few little lanterns stashed in the kitchen you can use to set your outdoor night vibes or pretend you’re an old-timey coal miner (real old-timey coal miners also welcome).

You’re gonna love it here, we promise.

The 500 sqft garage apartment, second-story deck and fenced courtyard near the stairs are yours to enjoy.

We live in the main house, which you can see across the yard. If you see us out there, definitely say hi, but please don't wander into our yard unannounced. You will not have access to the garage -- you may notice us grabbing something out of there at times, but we'll generally try to stay out of your hair!
