Our lodge retreat is located right on the lake and is fully furnished with plenty of space and amenities for everyone. There are plenty of activities on-site and within a short distance of the Retreat House. Conveniently close to downtown Waupaca but has the camping experience you need to getaway.

There are three large common rooms throughout the house that have available seating for your whole group with a great view of Shadow Lake seen clearly through large windows.

Outdoor seating and chairs are also at the Retreat House for you to use throughout your stay; with options to relax in the sun or the shade. Go out on the lake with your favorite watercraft to soak up the sun.

Enjoy the pool table, dartboard, movies and other indoor games on a rainy day. Make dinner on the grill, over a fire, use the kitchen or even walk over to one of Bethany’s restaurants to pick up some food. Downtown also has a variety of unique dining choices for you to try out. Bethany’s Retreat House is located right on Shadow Lake, which is a prime location to see Waupaca’s annual 4th of July fireworks.

The house is close to a city park which has a playground, picnic area, two shelters, bath house, fishing pier, boat launch, and museum. The sandy swimming beach has a raft, slide and diving board. Lifeguards are on duty Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Close to the Retreat House is Bethany’s Crystal River Walking Trail with rest stops and boardwalks that extend to oversee the Crystal River.

Welcome to our 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath Chain O' Lakes vacation rental. We want you to feel as relaxed as we do staying at our waterfront home. With enough beds to sleep 10 people, this is a great location for family vacations, retreats, or reunions (there is room for additional air mattresses). The open concept kitchen and living room connects to a beautiful covered deck. Enjoy the views from the deck, take out the two kayaks for a relaxing paddle, or enjoy a starry night roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and cookware (see below for listing of kitchen amenities).

-Lime Kiln Lake: No need to worry about the children swimming as this is a no wake lake. --The back yard leading up to the lake has plenty of flat space for yard games (bags, washers, and bocce ball provided).
-Short boat ride to Columbia and Round Lake (both wake lakes for water sports).
-Half mile walk to Casino, Wheelhouse, or Scoopers.
-Great location for morning walks on low traffic roads.

Please note that during the peak season rentals are weekly, or 7 nights. We will not be able to do long weekends. The rental is from Friday to Friday with check-in at 3 pm and check-out at 10 am. The pricing is detailed out in the rates sections. Please read it to get more information.

Bath and swim towels are NOT provided, please bring your own. Hand towels and kitchen towels will be provided. Board games and ping pong are provided for rainy afternoons. Roku will provide you with many options on the 65 inch television.

Stratton Lake is a full recreation lake surrounded by tall pines. Stay at this gorgeous, spacious, log cabin home on Waupaca's beautiful Chain O' Lakes! Located on the northeast shore of Sunset Lake, you will enjoy the peace of a no-wake lake, yet you have easy access to a fast lake located adjacent to Sunset. With breathtaking views, hard sandy frontage perfect for swimming, and plenty of room for multiple families, you will enjoy the comfort of this well kept home. 2 kayaks, one paddle board, and one Maui Mat are included with rental. Pontoon boat on-site available for rent. 7 night minimum required during summer months (June-August) with Sunday to Sunday rental. Slightly higher rates apply for holiday weeks. 2 night minimum rest of season. Cleaning fee and a security deposit are required.

The twin beds were a bit short and small for our tall teens but they still slept well. The house is close to a neighbor on the right side of the house but thankfully they were quiet & it wasn't an issue. Mandy and Shaun were very responsive and easy to work with! The Waupaca Chain O' Lakes is a premier Wisconsin vacation spot, known for it's crystal clear connected spring-fed lakes and fun family atmosphere. Reese's Retreat, named 50 years ago when our parents bought the property, is located on Beasley lake, the last lake on the fun-loving, water-sport mecca of the lower chain, connecting via Beasley Creek to the peaceful nature sanctuary of the upper chain.

Sit on the wrap-around deck and watch the world go by. Enjoy fishing/swimming off the dock to our private swim raft not far offshore, or my favorite: float with a cool drink and catch up with those you love. No worries about the kids in kayaks or floats: Beasley is a safe, no-wake lake. The middle of our lake is a favorite for swimmers, as is the sandy shore at the end of adjoining long lake where all ages float, put chairs in the shallow water to talk, throw balls, play or just generally splash around. 2 kayaks, a stand-up paddleboard, a rowboat, floaties of every description and a canoe are included with the rental. Pack a cooler and tour the lakes, tie up at Clear Water Harbor for live music and eats, or park on a sandbar in style.

Our large lakeside yard is surrounded by beautiful plantings, which create a private space for your group to play volleyball, Frisbee, or have an after-dark campfire.

The main level's open floor plan allows the great room with it's wood burning fireplace to flow into the kitchen so no one is left out. A connected 3-season porch offers outdoor eating without hassle or mosquitoes. Lots of seating and a gas grill steps away on the deck make things easy. After dinner it's a short walk to Tom Thumb's mini-golf, then a s'more-making, story-telling session around the fire pit. Or you can choose to do nothing but sit on the deck, listen to the frogs and watch for shooting stars.

Our family purchased the property in the early 1960's, and replaced the original cottage with this large house in 2005 to accommodate our growing brood. We designed the walk-out level to be quite separate. It consists of a big screen entertainment center, huge leather couch with built-in recliners, 2 bedrooms which sleep 4, a bathroom, wet bar with fridge, and the laundry room. If your family is like ours, you have early birds, but you also have night-owls who like to watch movies, eat chips and make lots of noise into the night. No problem. This arrangement keeps everyone happy.

On rainy days, you can watch movies or play games in front of the fire, or explore the authentic late 1800's main street with shops, restaurants and even The Rosa, an old-time movie theater playing films suitable for all ages.

On sunny days, the Chief Waupaca stern wheeler or Lady of the Lakes motor yacht out of Clear Water Harbor Marina offer narrated cruises while beautiful scenery goes by. The hardy among you can take the famous crystal river trip from nearby Ding's Dock. Offering both tubing and canoe options, it can be rough-and-tumble, but great fun indeed! Or just stay close to home for a kayak trip to the upper chain or a swim off the dock.

Your ideal vacation starts with ample parking for 6 vehicles right out front of the home! Enter through the sunroom and take a load off while taking in the beautiful views of the lake. Observe the open concept as you enter the home and look out the sliding doors to the lake. Sit on the sofa and take in the natural beauty of the property! Trees on the property keep our home private while still allowing picturesque views of the water! The kitchen is stocked up with pots, pans, plates, silverware and cups. There is a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and coffee maker. The master is on the main floor and has an attached full bathroom. The master has one queen bed and a desk.
The 2nd bedroom is also on the main floor with one queen bed and one full bed. There is also one more full bath on the main level. Upstairs find two additional bedrooms. The 3rd bedroom has one queen bed and a twin bed. There is also space in this room for an air mattress or a pack and play. The 4th bedroom has two queen beds and many windows as well. There is a third full bathroom on the second floor between the two bedrooms. Downstairs on the basement walkout level you will find a bar area with plenty of stools along with a high top table to hang out at. The basement also has a pool table for your enjoyment. There is a half bathroom on this level along with a washing machine, dryer and additional refrigerator. Walk down to the waterfront from the deck or the lower level. The deck offers additional seating along with a charcoal grill. The lower walkout also has a picnic table for even more seating! The shed offers plenty of inflatables to enjoy on the water and additional chairs for lounging. There is a firepit for hanging out in the evening and roasting marshmallows. Enter the lake through the gradual walkout or take a plunge off the end of the dock into 8ft of beautiful spring fed water! Calm Waters is definitely a gem on Limekiln Lake. We are a no wake lake so no worries about jet skis and boats speeding by while the children (or you) are swimming. However, when you want to go to a recreational lake and enjoy water sports we have two recreational lakes just around the corner from the home! We have 4 kayaks, a stand up paddle board and paddle boat for your enjoyment! There is also a pontoon boat available for rent. Please contact us for information if interested.

The kids loved paddle boarding, fishing, swimming and wading in the shallow clear water on the sandy shoreline. My husband and I enjoyed the tranquility of the lake overall. There are specific hours on the lake where tubing/skiing are allowed, so all other times the lake was calm. We caught panfish, perch and a couple bass. Having central air to retreat to was fantastic. The house is equipped with anything you need to cook or grill. It is truly a gem of a property. The only downside was that the bunk bed was really creaky with any movement, so we pulled the pullout bed on the couch and they slept there. Not a huge deal. We loved the property overall. Plenty of Bluegills & Crappies to cast a line for. There is a state fish hatchery 4 miles down the road. Tours of the chain of lakes on the Chief Waupaca. Take a drive thru the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King or spend the day at Strawberry fest in downtown Waupaca. We are located in some of the best deer hunting in the state. Our house has brand new appliances including washer and dryer and WiFi. A canoe and paddle boat are included along with a gas fire pit and a wood fire pit for your relaxation.

There are two kayaks available for use that can be dropped in 0.1 miles from our cottage or stop at Adventure Outfitters water sport rental for more options. We had a coffee shop, restaurants, bars, boutiques and shops, plus the lake, harbor and all sorts of other attractions right out the front or back door. The space was comfortable for our group of four adult family members. The backyard is pretty big, with a nice outdoor table and chairs. The home had more than most VRBOs I have stayed at before, like lots of kitchen supplies and linens. The host was really nice and gave us a couple of group specific recommendations that were lovely! Highly recommend this spot!"

Part of The Elsewhere Collection, our rustic log cabin is a restored 100-year old space sitting on peaceful Miner Lake. With room to sleep up to 4-6 adults, the cabin is ideal for a cozy getaway. The cabin features an equipped kitchen, two TVs, WIFI and a window AC unit in the main bedroom. The bathroom has all of the essentials for washing off a day on the lake. Steps from the cabin is a wooden deck, outdoor furniture & two docks with direct access to the lake.

THE WATER: The cabin utilizes well water, so we supply Culligan water for drinking and cooking. We recommend running the water before use and holding down the toilet handle for a little bit when flushing.

TVs: these are just for movies or streaming with Google Chromecast, no cable.

This home was originally built with a traditional 1st floor master bedroom in mind. However, we made an adjustment turning it into a game room. The game room has a full size poker table, record player, karaoke machine, Pac-Man and much more. We have also stocked the closet with board games and puzzles.

We have a total of 5-bedrooms: 3-bedrooms (all with queen size beds) located on the 2nd floor. There is a spacious bonus sleeping area off of the 2nd bedroom. This bonus room has 2-twin beds, a twin bed with trundle. This configuration makes for a nice family suite.

The family room has an AMAZING view of Dake Lake. Beautiful cherrywood bookcases flank the gas log fireplace. With a simple touch of the remote, the fireplace will turn on offering a warm ambience. 65" flat screen Smart TV with room darkening curtains provide a relaxing atmosphere. No cable tv or subscriptions.

The kitchen is fully stocked with the usual suspects--electric oven/glass stove top burners, top freezer/bottom refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal etc. We have added a couple of fun items--an ice maker and a designated coffee/tea/hot cocoa area--coffee pot/single serve, stove top kettle, electric kettle along with various sweeteners, non-dairy creamers, coffees and teas. Also, plenty of platters and items for your entertaining needs. The kitchen eating area can seat (6) and has picture windows with the lake view.

The separate dining room has seating for (8) with a reading nook by the window. For times when the gang wants to eat together, we also provide a foldable banquet table with (8) folding chairs in the garage.

In the lower level, there are 2-bedrooms; one with a queen size bed, the other with 2-sets of bunk beds (sleeps 4 people under 100 lbs). Also in the lower level is a designated private office/study room with a desk and a sofa sleeper (sleeps 2). Full bathroom with a walk-in shower is accessible to our lower level guests. ANOTHER full laundry room with commercial washer and dryer is available.

The game rooms (1st floor and lower level) are bound to keep all ages entertained with a pool table, ping pong table overlay, board games and wet bar. The wet bar in the lower level is stocked with various glassware for beer, Moscow mules, wine and mixed drinks. A coffee maker is also available for your added convenience.

Long list of items available for you to enjoy--gas BBQ grill with extra propane tank, fire pit, fishing poles, bikes, kayaks, canoe, stand-up paddle board, corn hole and other outdoor games. We provide our guests with a limited supply of firewood.

Dake Lake is a 35-acre lake with a maximum depth of 26 feet. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout and Walleye. The lakefront has a soft, shallow bottom. We recommend going to the beautiful local beach which is about a 10 minute drive from the home or a sandbar on the chain for swimming.

Take a short stroll or drive and spend the day in downtown Waupaca, visit one of the neighborhood restaurants or bars. Play 18-holes at Tom Thumb Mini Golf, a local fan favorite. Enjoy the live entertainment at Clearwater Harbor Restaurant and Bar, watch the Chain Skiers perform or book a narrated cruise touring Waupaca's Chain O’ Lakes during the summer months.

The Farm House has 4 bedrooms (4 queens and a bunk bed), 2 bathrooms, a living room, and a Florida room with TV and sleeper sofa. The large deck overlooking Sunset Lake is a great place to cook out, relax, and enjoy the view. The Annex is also recently restored. It is equipped with central air and heat, a full kitchen, 1 ½ bathrooms, and a living room with TV. The sleeping quarters consist of 1 queen, a twin, and 3 bunk beds, and a sleeper sofa twin. An upper level deck offers spectacular views of Sunset Lake. Bedding is included with this property. Towels are not included. No pets or smoking allowed.

Our home is newly remodeled to allow for large groups to be under one roof. As you step into the lake house, you will see a game room with Connect 4 on the wall, a Pac-Man console arcade game, a turn-table with a variety of albums and a Karaoke machine. The game room has a wall-mounted 70" smart TV with (4 ) floor level game chairs.

Also located on the main level are 3-bedrooms (all with king size beds), 2-bathrooms (1 full and 1/2). Bedrooms have black out curtains. The laundry area is in the same room as the 1/2 bathroom. Kitchen with eat in area, open dining area and family room. Patio sliding door open to the balcony. Spectacular views of nature and a path to Otter Lake.

Our private dock is about 450 ft from the house and on Otter Lake! There is so much wild life around Otter Lake to enjoy.

The bedroom with 2 queen size beds also has a office/study area with a desk and some office/study amenities. The lower level has a full bathroom with shower/bathtub.

The lower level also was set up with fun things to do. It has a couch with 70" smart TV, a full size ping pong table, board games and coloring pages for the artists. Something for everyone to enjoy both inside or outside of the home.

Otter Lake is a 15-acre lake with a maximum depth of 40 feet. It is part of the Chain O' Lakes. It's secluded enough to enjoy quiet lake life yet a short distance to see the action on the chain. Fish include Panfish, Largemouth bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. The lakefront is deep. We recommend going to the beautiful local beach which is about a 10 minute drive from the home or a sandbar on the chain for swimming.

The Neighborhood:
Dake lake is a 35 acre, 26' deep lake that is perfect for fishing, swimming and boating. It's part of Waupacas famous Chain of Lakes, and neighbors Minor Lake and Columbia Lake. Got a boat? Bring it with! You can launch it right next door at the boat launch and park it at the private dock. Need a boat? Ding's Dock boat rental is just 3 minutes away.

Interaction with Guests:
This property has keyless locks, so you will not need to meet us to gain access upon arrival. We give you space to enjoy OUR space. Should any needs arise, we are just a text or phone call away.

Bring out your inner chef in the fully stocked kitchen, complete with pots and pans, cooking utensils, baking trays, and dishes.

Starter supply of paper towels, dishwasher pods, dish soap and toilet paper are provided!

Enjoy your morning beverage of choice at the coffee and tea bar! A Keurig and a 12 cup coffee maker are available; we provide a starter set of ground coffee, k-cups, tea, creamer, sugar and stevia!

The kayaks, paddleboards, and water toys are located on the side of the house.

$250 pet fee includes up to 2 dogs. Additional or unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 per animal. Pet owners must clean up the property after taking their pet outside. A $25 fee will be applied to reservations that require additional cleaning outside after pets.

Guests have access to the entire home and exterior property space, with the exception of locked closets.

We are available as needed for guests! You can message us through Airbnb or reach out directly to the phone number provided after booking. Guests will be provided a unique entry keycode for keyless check-in and check-out at their convenience.

The home is nestled on a peaceful lake just outside of town, surrounded by mature pines and seasonal cabins. It’s one of only a few short-term rentals in the area—most neighboring homes are owned by families who have enjoyed the lake for generations.

A car is suggested for exploring the area, but Uber and Lyft are available. On-site parking is available, and downtown is only a short drive away.

The grill is located on the deck and grill utensils are located in the kitchen. An extra propane tank is located in the garage. Please let us know if you empty one of the tanks so we can replace the backup after checkout. Please clean the grill after use. A $25 fee will be applied if the cleaning team needs to clean the grill, as this is not part of their routine house cleaning.

If a guest is under the age of 25, or if most of their group is under the age of 25, they may be required to submit photo IDs of everyone in the group and pay a security deposit for the booking to be approved.

Credit card fees are non-refundable upon booking if reservation is cancelled by guest.

This 1,400 sq ft house has a walk-out basement and large living rooms for rainy day or night time entertainment. Enough beds to comfortably sleep 10 along with two full size bathrooms. It provides fun on the water along with cozy areas after hours to congregate. This house is equipped with central air, fire pit, kayaks, deck, gas grill, and a bar area.

Whether you bring your own boat or prefer silent water sports, we have what you need! Park your boat at the doc after launching at the nearby public boat launch. Or use our 3 kayaks to explore the quieter side of the Chain.

With 4 queen beds and 1 bunk bed spread across 4 bedrooms, this cozy retreat is perfect for families or groups of friends. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like AC, WiFi, and a washing machine. Located on spring-fed Otter Lake this property features two private docks and unmatched access to the Chain. Otter is the northern most lake of the Chain and is a no wake refuge from the faster paced lakes. This prime "Old Chain" location is the perfect set-up for a total immersion, lakeside, Chain o Lakes vacation. Your whole stay could be easily spent on the end of one of the docks sunning, socializing, fishing and swimming.

The master bedroom is only 30' from the dock and with a private lakeside entrance if your midnite swim gets chilly you can scoot inside to a warm shower. The Summerhouse is able to accommodate up 9 people with the 3 season room doubling as a bedroom at night.

The home consists of a master bedroom with bathroom, shower, full size bed, draws, closets, TV. A second bedroom has the same amenties but with a queen and shares bathroom with 3 season room when at house capacity. The 3 season can be closed off from the rest of the house and can sleep 5. This room has 25' of windows facing the Lake. A library and piano occupy 1/2 the living room with a reading -TV area the rest. The dinning room has great views of the lake and is open to the full kitchen and a breakfast nook.

When rented by 2 couples the 2nd bedroom becomes a suite with its own private lakeside entrance and bathroom with tub and shower. What could be better?

When a 3rd bedroom is needed the 3 season changes easily to a bedroom and is the preferred sleeping spot for kids. With the windows open they can hear fish jumping, frog croaking and owls asking their usual questions.

At the lakeside campfire pit the children will be able to roast hotdogs and marshmellows providing themselves with nutritious meals while Mom visits nearby boutiques, antique shops and the Clear Water Harbor Bar.Add the pontoon boat and your stay on Otter will be a vacation that will be always remembered and hopefully repeated.

The Chain and Waupaca area have been a premier destination for over 160 yrs. The area's beauty inspired Gen. Phil Sheridan to put forward the idea of providing Wisconsin's Civil War veterans a home to retreat to in their old age and maybe escape some terrible memories of that awful war. The Grand Old Army Home-known today Veteran's Home at King- came from this idea. All who visit the area should set aside some time to visit King and thank those who make vacations possible.

The Vintage House is located within walking distance to downtown Waupaca on a 1/2 acre with lots of trees and a block from the Recreation Center. Wake up to complimentary coffee and homemade granola and yogurt. The living room is available to relax in between your adventures. The patio has 2 chairs, small table, and a grill is available as well. Enjoy a peaceful experience in a 1935 home. Waupaca has much more to offer than just the Chain of Lakes! Rent a kayak in town at Shadow lake!

The space
My vintage home has a nice size kitchen with an adjoining sun room, dining room, living room, one bath and 4 bedrooms. I have recently painted almost every room. My hardwood maple floors have been beautifully refinished. If you visit in the fall, you can enjoy fresh fruit from 3 apple trees and a pear tree!

Guest access
You will stay in the front lower level bedroom just to the right of the front door. The living room is all yours and we will share the bathroom and kitchen (kitchen ware, too). I'll leave some space in the fridge for you if you want to cook here. You can eat in the dining room or outside on the patio. You must provide your own food and beverages.

During your stay
If you need to get in touch with me, I'll provide you with my phone number. I will be home much of the time, but sometimes I'll be out running errands, enjoying outdoor activities, or meeting up with friends.

Other things to note
Winter lovers! We have some great cross-country ski trails in the area, snowshoeing, ice skating and snowmobiling, weather dependent of course! Hartmann Creek State Park is only a 15 minute drive from Waupaca with great hiking, swimming, camping, snowshoeing and XC ski trails. Lakes galore in our area, too!

Enjoy our quaint "Hallmark" like downtown with its many cute shops, restaurants, and coffee houses.

We have many wonderful events in the area such as the Iola Car Show, EAA, Waupaca Triathlon, the Waupaca Arts Festival, Bach Festival, Green Bay Packer events, Strawberry Festival or maybe you are up here to see our beautiful fall foliage. Welcome to Two Lakes cottage in between the towns of Waupaca and King. This beautiful two-bedroom cottage sleeps seven and offers seclusion and quiet but is still only 5 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Downtown Waupaca and the nightlife of the Chain O’ Lakes. If it's a relaxing vacation you're looking to enjoy. Relax on our large deck and enjoy the view of the lake behind the house.If it's drinks and live music that toots your horn, this cottage is perfect for you! 900 sq ft total.

The space
You are the only house on a 15 acre lake. The primary bedroom offers a comfortable queen-size bed with two side tables, USB-compatible charging, and a large closet with wooden hangers to hang anything you need. The second bedroom has a three-tier bunk, with the bottom having a full bed that sleeps two adults, while the top two bunks are equipped with twin mattresses. With a weight capacity of 200 pounds for each of the top bunks and 400 pound capacity for bottom full. It also has a large closet for hanging clothes. Lastly, we have a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room that sleeps two adults comfortably. Every bed has comfortable sheets and comforters. Our home is 60 years old and, though greatly cared for, shows its age in some places. Expect to find some loving wear, quaint aging and charming patina both inside and outside.

Enjoy the beautiful view from the deck or firepit area. Our deck has seats for ten and a place for six people to dine. The firepit has four chairs overlooking the lake and the beautiful surrounding forestry. Free parking for up to eight vehicles is available on our driveway and in front of the house by the mailbox. Feel free to entertain any family or friends who live in the surrounding area. They won't want to go home!

Silver Lake Studio features a quiet, studio space for two adults. The studio is new construction built in 2023. The beautiful composite deck is set in the tree canopy along the lake shore with cable railing to maximize your view. The studio features a multi slide door that brings the outside in with expansive daylight openings. With only three residences beyond the studio, you can leave behind busy tourism, minimize traffic noise, and ensure a safe stay. Read more about our included amenities.

The space
The studio is on the second floor above a garage that is used for storage. You would have the entire building to yourself.

We are located right across the parking lot from the beautiful Riverside Park in Waupaca, and it’s just a quick walk up the ramp to Main Street, where there is never a shortage of sweet shops and restaurants to visit downtown, or fun events to check out such as the Farmer’s Market, Strawberry Fest, and more! We welcome all who are traveling for work as well, and are located 1.4 miles from the hospital, and within walking distance of Waupaca Foundry. Come and stay awhile at Riverside Retreat!

Getaway to the country with 15 acres and a natural, private pond. A short drive from downtown Waupaca and the chain o' lakes. ***To be clear, the house is not on the chain of lakes. Feel free to bring kayaks or canoes for use on the large pond which is the waterfront included. A public boat launch for the chain is 10-15 minutes from the house. Thanks!*** If traveling for the EAA, expect about a 45 minute drive to the grounds, a 7 minute drive from the Waupaca regional airport.

The space
This is an open concept home close to the heart of our city. The neighborhood is quiet for being in the city and the space is set up for convenience and relaxation. We strive to make your experience an enjoyable one. Cleanliness and keeping things in good order are some of our top priorities. For entertainment we provide Netflix, Prime, Disney+, Hulu, Britbox, Curiosity Stream, MAX, Discovery +, and Paramount +, premium services, SPECTRUM, as well as many other commercial channels. Television with Roku in the living room, and all three bedrooms. We've recently added a new covered hot tub, privacy fence in yard, and Level 2 EV charger (see pictures)

Guest access
You can get around the neighborhood any way you prefer. Parking is ample and free all around Waupaca. Overnight parking is at the Airbnb. If in the unlikely event your party has over four vehicles additional overnight parking can be arranged with your hosts. Waupaca has a taxi service or transport can be arranged with your hosts. Downtown is easily walkable. We offer transport service from many Wisconsin airports (up to six in your party.) Waupaca has a very capable airport that you can fly in your private prop or jet.

Other things to note
Your hosts live a few blocks away and are available to answer your questions or in the event you may need assistance. We truly care about our guests and very much want you to have an enjoyable and positive experience. We are inspected and licensed with the State of Wisconsin administrated by Waupaca County. We are a Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce member.

The space
The Raven is a brand new construction home, completed in 2024, with heated concrete floors and vaulted ceilings throughout.

The interior space consists of two bedrooms with queen-sized beds and ample storage (an additional queen-sized bed is available via the pullout couch in the main living space), a spacious bathroom with dual sinks and bidet plus a beautifully appointed main living space including: a fully-equipped kitchen complete with 6 burner gas stove, large dining table for meals and games, a 75" surround-sound home theatre with many included streaming services as well as a Nintendo 64, a turntable for spinning records, and a seating area with fireplace surrounded by windows overlooking the woods.

There's also an attached outdoor patio with grill and dining table. Following the path down the hill into the woods behind the home will bring you to a fire pit and additional space for hanging a hammock or two (one provided with the property).

The attached carport offers Level 2 EV charging for both NACS (Tesla) and J1772 vehicles.

Taylor View Cottage is nestled in the perfect location for your next get away. A great space for family, couples, and friends.
Fall in love with the original hardwood floors and arched doorways. A front and back porch for game playing or relaxing with a book. There is a queen bed in the main bedroom. Bedroom two is located down the hallway with a twin over full bunk bed. The entryway room has a twin daybed with trundle that accommodates two for flexible sleeping arrangements. The living room has a comfortable L shaped couch as well as an oversized chair. Enjoy watching your favorite shows when you log into your apps on the 55 inch ROKU TV. The bathroom has a wonderful rain shower. The charming galley kitchen is supplied with all the cookware and appliances for your needs during your stay. There is a 6 person dining area off of the kitchen, but if you need more space our dining room opens up to a enclosed porch with a pub table that accommodates 4. Enjoy grilling out during the day and campfires at night. There are two kayaks available for use that can be dropped in 0.1 miles from our cottage or rent paddle boards and kayaks at Adventure Outfitters for your water sport needs. Kayak the Upper Chain, Crystal River, or Waupaca River, with option of local tour guides. Feel like exploring Waupaca? Check out all the downtown shops and historic sites. The driveway accommodates two cars. Have a boat? No worries, we can arrange parking in our back yard area upon requests.

The 22 spring fed lakes are a mix of full recreation and slow no wake lakes where you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, tubing, skiing, fishing or a day of fun in the sun. The color of the water is the same as that of typical marl
lakes, being a greenish blue in the shallow water and a darker green in the deep water. A popular saying: "In all the world... no lakes like these."

The "Cabin" is on Lake Solitude and that sets the scene for the entire property. It is unbelievably peaceful and tranquil. Follow the hickory floors to reach the multi level decks and Gazebo. Continue towards the Lake on one of the many flower- lined winding paths. Relax on one of two piers or sit at "Big Pine Point". Take the boat, kayaks, paddle boards, or jump in. The Chain of Lakes, and more fun is just 5 min away. Crystal River 2 min. The property is absolutely charming!

The Cabin is newly renovated and Super Clean. Vaulted Cedar Ceiling are throughout. Lake Solitude is a 15' deep No-Wake Lake and is great for family fun. The Mosquito Squad takes care of the bugs so it's easy to sit around the fire pit. For more Hustle Bustle, the Chain of Lakes is just 5 minutes away. Contact Becker Marina for a boat rental for the day or week! Clear Water Harbor Bar Restaurant is one of Waupaca's favorites and also have boats. And don't forget about the Wheel House restaurant.
Pliska's Crystal River tube excursion is only 2 min from the Cabin. Float down the Crystal River - great fun!

Our Guest will have complete access to the newly renovated Cabin. There are Kayaks, paddle boards, and the pontoon style paddle boat our guess can use. Bring life vest for the kids. There are a couple of comfy beach / lounge chairs stored in the garage too that you can use. If you see something to use - cool that is fine - please put the stuff back when you are finished, so I know where it is. Thanks!

The Cabin is not child-proofed. Please read the "House Manual" and the "Guide Book". The Cabin is set up for Max of 4 people, ergo 2 beds - King & Queen. The eating table has 4 chairs, we only have bedding for the beds, etc. (you get the idea). The fishing is Catch and Release only Please (HOA Rules). Please buy your own firewood. The space
Our octagon home is a one bedroom, one bathroom house. It is perfect for couples seeking a lake getaway in a unique architectural setting. The home is set on 2.3 wooded acres and feels very private.

We like to think Goldilocks would love this octagon home. It's not large and sprawling, yet it's not too small either (it's not a tiny home). It's just right. It has everything you need for a getaway at the lake, with nothing that you don't.

There is a new couch (2025) that folds out to become an extra bed, for a third guest, or child, but is not suitable for a second couple.

The kitchen is perfect for preparing meals at home or reheating leftovers from the many great local restaurants. It's worth noting that we don't have a conventional oven, but our microwave is a dual purpose air-fryer/convection oven for all your culinary needs. A two burner stovetop, small-medium sized fridge, and dishwasher complete the small kitchen. All appliances are new as of 2025.

We are lakefront on Lake Solitude which is a no-motor lake. We have a canoe and pedal-powered paddleboat, and adult-sized life vests available for guests. We also have three bikes that can be used by guests. Guests are encouraged to make memories around the paved fire pit, a bundle of firewood is included with your stay.

Cozy Cabin features two bedrooms with a loft, two full bathrooms, and a half bath downstairs. It can comfortably accommodate 10 guests in all the beds provided. The upstairs boasts a beautifully vaulted ceiling crafted from tongue and groove pine. The main living room is equipped with a smart TV and includes a charming reading nook by the wood-burning fireplace.

The master bedroom, which is located off the living room has an on-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Additionally, the master closet contains the baby bath, baby gate, and highchair. There are also several board games available for all ages to enjoy. The second bedroom, which contains two queen beds, is conveniently located off the kitchen. Also adjacent to the kitchen is the main bathroom, featuring a combination shower and tub. The laundry area, equipped with a stackable washer and dryer, is situated across from the bathroom. For your convenience, we provide laundry pods, bleach, and dryer sheets.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a variety of dishes, glasses, crockpot, griddle, children's dishes and a highchair. For added convenience, an electric tea kettle, a coffee pot, and a selection of diverse coffees are provided. The dining table seats six and is positioned in front of a beautiful picture window overlooking the woods.

The deck, equipped with a propane-free gas grill and a six-seater table, is accessible from the kitchen and set among the trees. Please be aware that, due to the natural woodland setting, pine needles and leaves may fall onto the deck. Our cleaning team ensures the deck and table are clean after each guest's stay, but elements of nature and outdoor insects remain beyond our control. We offer mosquito and bug treatment services to reduce the presence of pests, though complete eradication is not feasible.

Beneath the deck, you'll discover our six-person hot tub, overlooking the beautiful fire pit. We've added tiki lamps and outdoor lighting to enhance the ambiance, making the fire pit and hot tub experience even more relaxing.

We transformed our three-car garage into a game room. It features foosball, ping pong, two-player basketball, hook and ring, darts and board games. There's also a cozy living area with a 55" TV and a table that seats six. Additionally, we have a refrigerator and microwave in the space and a half bathroom, too.

Stroll along our secluded path to the water's edge, where you'll find a tranquil, motor-free lake. We provide a variety of watercraft including paddle boards, kayaks, a canoe, and a pedal boat for your enjoyment. Please return all water equipment to its place and turn the pedal boat over to prevent water accumulation in case of rain. This ensures that the next guest can enjoy it and helps maintain its cleanliness.

Please adhere to the following rules to avoid additional charges:

1. Clean the gas grill after each use. The provided sponge is dishwasher safe and must be cleaned before your departure.
2. Well-behaved dogs are permitted with prior approval and a pet fee of $250 for one dog and $50 for an additional dog. We have a limit of two dogs; the fee for the second dog will be requested after booking. All dogs must be declared before the stay. Discovery of more dogs on the premises than declared at booking may result in additional fees or immediate eviction. Cats are not permitted. Use the provided dog leash to secure your dog at all times, as we are not liable for ticks or other wildlife your dog may encounter in the woods.
3. When traveling with pets, please ensure they stay off the furniture and utilize the doggy bags found on the back porch. Should there be signs of dogs on beds or furniture, or if dog waste is not cleaned up outdoors, a $100 fee will be charged post-stay.
4. Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the house, with the exception of the designated area under the porch. Dispose of all cigarette butts in the provided bucket.

Part of The Elsewhere Collection, our rustic log cabin is a restored 100-year old space sitting on peaceful Miner Lake. With room to sleep up to 4-6 adults, the cabin is ideal for a cozy getaway. THE WATER: The cabin utilizes well water, so we supply Culligan water for drinking and cooking. We recommend running the water before use and holding down the toilet handle for a little bit when flushing.

TVs: these are just for movies or streaming with Google Chromecast, no cable.

The space
Taylor House has four bedrooms, two baths, seven beds and will sleep 11 comfortably in beds. We also have a pull out queen size sleeper for additional sleeping space.
The upstairs is a beautiful vaulted bedroom with two queen size beds, 50 inch smart TV, ceiling fan and a large bathroom with a walk in shower. This room boasts a great view overlooking the large front yard with a peek at Taylor Lake.
Three bedrooms on the first floor with one queen size bed, two twin beds, a twin over full bunk bed and a pull out queen sleeper sofa. There is also room for one or two air mattresses (not included)
A roomy eat in kitchen, a separate dining area and living room with a 50 inch smart tv with spectrum cable.
The front yard has a large patio with comfortable seating, picnic table, outdoor grill and also a large fire pit for relaxing summer evenings.
The front yard also provides space for outdoor games of corn-hole bag toss, ring toss and Jenga. A full size ping pong table is in the garage.
Wi-Fi for streaming on the two 50 inch TV’s, books, board games and movies are also available inside for rainy days.
Absolutely no smoking inside. Smoke outside only, and please place butts in container provided.

Guest access
You have access to the whole house, eat in kitchen with dishwasher, separate dining area, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two walk in showers, living area with a 50 inch TV, full size washer/dryer, large yard with outdoor grill, patio and fire pit. Garage has a ping pong table, yard games and extra outdoor chairs. Plenty of parking in the long driveway with turn around.

Other things to note
While we are not directly on the water, we are across the road from Taylor Lake, Clear-Water Harbor Bar, Adventure Outfitters Lakeside and less than one mile to the public boat launch. Plenty of parking in front of the garage for your boat. Kayak, canoe and maui mat rentals are available across the road at Adventure Outfitters. Restaurants, bars, golf, shopping and Hartman Creek State Park with a beach are all close by. Our location is perfect for your summer vacation or winter getaway'

Starter amounts of coffee filters, paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, laundry detergent are provided, but you may have to bring or purchase more depending on the length of your stay.
Salt, pepper, spray oil and some spices are available for your use.

• No animals allowed, including emotional support animals, as this is our family home and two immediate family members have severe allergies to animal dander that can trigger asthma attacks—even from hypoallergenic breeds. // THINGS TO KNOW
This property offers a unique experience with some quirks:
1. RIVER SAFETY: The river is a beautiful part of what makes this spot so special—but as with any natural water feature, we kindly ask guests to use caution. Please supervise children at all times near the river and use proper safety precautions when exploring outdoors.
2. CELL SERVICE: The property is in a rural area; while peaceful, it may have limited cell service depending on your carrier.
3. WILDLIFE: We are surrounded by wildlife, from deer and other critters to lots of insects. We treat our house regularly to keep pests out, but we cannot guarantee a rogue stink bug, spider, fly, or mosquito won’t come into the house, especially when a door is opened. Because occasional sightings are normal in a rural area, we are unable to provide any refunds for wildlife or insects.
4. NEIGHBORS: We are lucky to have full time neighbors that live on our street, including the properties directly next to and across the street. Keeping noise levels at a minimum is very important.
5. WELL WATER: We have well water on our property, which is tested every year by the Department of Public Health. It’s safe to drink but the minerals can make it taste less pleasant, depending on your tastebuds. We have a filtered water reservoir in the refrigerator that you can use and refill.
6. GARBAGE: We do not have a garbage disposal — all food and grease needs to go in a trash bag in the trash can.
7. REQUIRED STAIRS: Although this looks like a ranch style house, there are several steps to get into the house (where the side door facing the driveway is). This addition was originally the garage and converted into a bedroom, bathroom, and living room by a previous owner. This is the bedroom with the bunk bed and living room with the larger TV. Inside, there are also several steps connecting this addition and the main house.

// PARKING
There is enough room for 2-3 cars in the driveway. We offer free electric vehicle charging for guests staying with us. The charger is a NEMA 14-50 and accessible on the outside of the garage. Please bring your own adapter, if needed.
** The garage is locked and not available for guest use.

The garage is locked and not available for guest use. However, the electric car charger attached to the outside of the garage is available for you to use.

The trailer in the front yard is also unavailable for guest use.

Other things to note
We have cameras around the outside of the house facing the driveway, yard, and dock for safety reasons (and to watch friendly wildlife that trip our motion sensors, haha). We also have doorbells with built in cameras to help us manage deliveries and other things without living on site.

For everyone’s safety, please do not cover or tamper with the security cameras at any time. Doing so may result in a fine or removal from the property.

Stratton Lake does provide a public boat launch. The lake is full-recreational, but the rules are posted at the launch and must be followed. Ameresa does have a dock in case you would like to bring your own boat. If you will be using the lake with your own motorcraft, you must be familiar with the bathymetric map of the lake as there are areas to be aware of.

RENTAL RULES
1. No Pets. No Animals. No Smoking. We have allergies in the family and use the home as well.
2. Only confirmed guests may stay overnight in the premises. Any other person on the premises is the sole responsibility of Guest. Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit of 12. Tents or campers are NOT allowed.
3. Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors; Code-enforced neighborhood quiet hours are from 11:00p.m. – 8:00a.m.
4. The Premises is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
5.Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. All indoor furniture shall remain inside during your stay. If you move any furniture it must be replaced to the original position prior to Checkout. If there is any incidental breakage of anything in the house, to the house or on the property, you shall notify us. Damages may be charged to your deposit.
6.Only use appliances for their intended uses.
7.Parking: Parking is limited to 5 vehicles. Parking on the road is not permitted. Any illegally parked cars or additional cars over 5 are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only, which are: one spot in the garage, with two cars parked side by side in the driveway close to the garage, with two more parking them in.
8.Garbage & Recycling: Garbage and Recycling receptacles are provided in the house. Prior to check out all garbage and recycling must be disposed of in the proper garbage or recycling receptacle, located at the side of the house. A fresh garbage bag is to be replaced for each inside can.
9. Please stay on our property only as a guest of the lake house.
10. Please Stay off neighbor's swim raft. Dark Blue raft is ours.
11.Indoor Fireplace and wood stove - locked: The fireplace/ wood stove are not available for use. Additionally no burning of candles is allowed.
