- "I arrived, but the address given was wrong, so I wondered whether I was in the right location. Usually there is a photo of the outside of the rental so you know you are in the right place. Not this time. I was at a very large apartment complex and fortunately the office was still open when I arrived, otherwise I just would have had to find a hotel. If the office hadn’t been open and the staff willing to help me I wouldn’t have been able to get the gate code. This is a gated apartment complex. Nothing mentioned about the gate, code to get into the gate. I knew there was a smart lock on the apartment door, had to download an app, get a code, etc. that was fine BUT that only worked for one day and then the app didn’t work any more. Fortunately there is a key on a lock box on the patio and I was able to use that, once I got the rusted lock box open. The link to the “things to do” didn’t work but that was okay because I was busy visiting parents who just moved into assisted living nearby. If I had wanted to use the pool or the pedestrian gates it would have been nice to have the codes. The gate code given to me by the office only worked for the first two days, but not to worry, there is so much traffic through there I just waited until the gate opened and drove on in. Those are the negatives. The apartments was clean, remarkably quiet (except for the kid upstairs but she didn’t stay up too late) and convenient to all of the family I needed to see. The neighborhood was safe for walking and there are tons of places to get food nearby. I Could park my car right under a light and feel safe about leaving it. The apartment has most everything you would need for a one or two person stay. The location was perfect for me."

- "Property was fine other then a missing curtain in the living room area. Our issue was with the booking agency, leavetown.com. We went from them double booking and double charging us to totaling canceling our reservation. A cute and cozy Boho-Chic guest house above the water and among the trees. CLOSE TO GALVESTON AND HOUSTON. Quiet and secluded neighborhood. It is a completely independent and detached guest house. There is a full kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom. The only thing that we do not have in the guest house, is a clothes washer/dryer. To get in the guesthouse, you will need to walk up a some porch steps. NEWLY REPLACED A/C UNIT!

The space
You will feel like you are in a tree house. To get this private and quiet space, there is a short walk from the driveway. This is a 200 ft walk with stepping stones that might be hard for some people to travel by. Very relaxing and there are so many fun things to do nearby. Also there is an elevated, private sun tanning/ star gazing upper deck. You can fish from the balcony. The house is above Clear Creek.
