Located on a tranquil, wooded lot on the banks of the Little Red River (4 miles from Greers Ferry Lake) this cabin is the perfect location for a family getaway, peaceful weekend, or a trout fisherman's dream-come-true! Every season is an ideal time to enjoy all that this location has to offer. The Fall foliage and migrating waterfowl are simply picturesque. Most of our guests are more interested in the river than the lake...frigid water from the dam release feeds the Little Red with near perfect trout conditions. We are just a few miles downriver from the dam, but the winding woodland roads are blanketed by forests, so Paradise is always secluded and quiet. We are also conveniently less than a mile down the road from the Little Red River Trout Dock and Cow Shoals!

Steps and platforms meander down from the cabin's woodsy back deck to the banks of the river. There is a large cleared area between the deck and river. It’s perfect for driving down the access road to fish right from your tailgate, with a small campfire ring, and open room to play for little ones. The world record German Brown Trout was caught within a half mile of the cabin at cow shoals at over 40 pounds and boat rental and fishing guide service are available right down the lane. Excellent fly fishing opportunities abound. With boating lane at our bank, and a rocky shoal leading all the way across to the river’s opposite shore, you have prime conditions for dam release levels or low water wading. Make certain to view pictures of lunker trout caught by 2011 guests within one-mile of the cabin, at Cow Shoals.

The interior of the cabin is extremely comfortable with a bedroom and bathroom located in the loft. Downstairs bedroom has French doors opening onto the back porch with a wonderful view of the river. Both rooms have queen size beds. The dining area seats four, with room for more, and is open to the living room and TV. The loft above is hidden from view but open to the living room for TV and fireplace action. It’s great for kids that are safe on stairs, it makes a perfect gaming system station, and keeps the living room clutter and cord free. The couch is also a sleeper sofa. A cozy hearth surrounds the fireplace with easy propane logs, it is perfect for cool weather. The living room has French doors that open on to a screened in porch with a fridge/freezer in the corner for fish, and a bug free area for summer nights. It’s a good spot for tackle storage, with a screen door and loop lock separating it from the outside deck. Charcoal grill and extra deck furniture make the covered back porch and deck area perfect for gatherings, large or small, in any weather.

This property is an easy drive from Little Rock or Memphis. It has all the comforts of home...WiFi, satellite TV, full kitchen stocked, with the peace and quiet you expect in a cabin. It really is Paradise, with the best of both worlds!

The nearby lake town has a quaint window shopping area with an “Old Main Street” vibe and a intersecting highway with easy access shopping. There are several public swimming, boating, and beach areas, within a 10 mile radius. “Damsite” campground and “Sandy Beach” swimming access are local favorites for summer time fun, and are family and pet friendly. There are also hiking trails about a mile away to sugarloaf mountain and bridal veil falls.

About an hours drive away there are also caves to explore and a bit further blanchard springs caverns.

Remarkable location on exclusive Jon's Pocket. Two new queen sized beds have been put in the bedrooms. There is no finer fishing on the Little Red River. In addition to the Browns, the stocking point for Rainbows is less that 100 yards upstream. Guess where the fish pool? Great multi-level Decks. Dock to fish from and tie up your boat. FUN FACT:



The world record for a brown trout (40 pounds, 4 ounces) was set in May 1992 on the Little Red River, 29 miles of which had become suitable trout habitat with the completion of the Greer's Ferry Dam in the early 1960s. This record stood until it was surpassed in 2009.



Whole property record size trout have been caught in the winter months. One of the keepers of this property is a local fishing guide we, of course, highly recommend. (An area locals guide will be sent upon confirmation)

Taxes and clean/supply fees are always required as is a processing fee that varies dependent who you are booking through.







We cannot accept CANCELLATION variances due to personal reasons or area attraction closures. If we are mandated to close our rental operations, you will be refunded 100% or given the option of credit for future reservation good for 12 months.



1. We've lowered the down payment to reserve dates from 50% to 15%. IT IS NON-REFUNDABLE.



2. If you need to change your reservation due to COVID related government mandates, we will apply your monies paid towards future reservation good for 12 months from booking date.



3. If you prefer to just cancel, we will retain your monies paid according to the policy timeline, refunding the remainder. We always refund 100% of cleaning and pet fees



4. Please note that 3rd party sites like AirBnB have different policies in effect. Please read their fine print.



5. Airbnb has an agreement with the state of Arkansas to collect and remit sales tax. For all other bookings, we collect and remit applicable sales taxes as required for all fees associated with a reservation.

The Chateau is located on a large on the Little Red River just outside the city limits of Heber Springs, Arkansas.

The Chateau's great room offers stunning views of the Little Red River, a large fireplace surrounded by custom cut stonework, vaulted ceilings, comfortable seating, cable and smart TV streaming options.

The adjacent, open-space kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, including a double-oven, 6-burner gas cooktop, granite countertops, custom cabinetry, a wine cooler, an ice maker, two large islands with seating for eight guests, and a dining table that accommodates up to 10 more guests. Just off the great room, we have additional seating for six more guests on the screened-in porch. There is also a unique teak-root table in the great room that provides seating for 2 more guests.

The master bedroom also offers expansive views of the Little Red River, a luxuriously appointed king size bed, a separate seating area (with cozy Italian leather furnishings) and a massive walk-in closet that features two cut crystal chandeliers.

The master bedroom's luxurious en-suite bath includes double vanities, an over-sized jetted tub, a spacious walk-in shower, and a seated make-up station.

The Chateau's second great room also has vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, another smart/streaming television and comfortable seating. Here you'll enjoy a second downstairs king bedroom (with smart/streaming tv), and a view of the Little Red River. The third main-floor bedroom features a queen bed with a smart/streaming television and a "peek" of the river. Two more bathrooms (one with a shower and the other with a tub/shower combination) are located in this living area.

The upstairs bunk room includes a custom built king size bed and two hand-crafted single beds (all built by a local craftsman), as well as a sleeper sofa and an additional memory foam pull out bed.

The Chateau's grounds are also luxurious. The grounds include beautiful landscaping, a koi pond, two fire pits, an expansive deck and a private dock with a boat house.

Guests have access to our entire home. Our home will become your private retreat during your stay.

Has child pack & play with mattress and sheets, a baby monitor on request, a child high chair. I discount for a 7 night stay, you pay $700. That’s a $120 discount! Please do not harm the deer that show up in my back woods! They give great pleasure to my guest to be able to see them. Please do not use water balloons, no sprinkler systems where water hose is connected to them and left running, no paint guns or air guns or live ammunition guns, no filling large plastic or inflatable pools, no car or boat washing on property. If you ever see a newborn fawn on the ground, please don’t move it, the mother will more than likely be back to take care of it. If not, call animal protection to have them save it . Thank you!

Enjoy fun in the sun at the private, on-premises saltwater pool that includes a waterfall feature. The pool is open from the beginning of March through the middle of November (weather permitting). If soaking and relaxing is more your style there is a 6 person hot tub available for your (and 5 of your closest friends') pleasure. If you are feeling adventurous but don't want to travel, you can always wander down into the resort to play at the public pool (when open), or rent a kayak, canoe, flat-bottom boat or mini pontoon boat or simply fish for trout off the dock in the Little Red River. The Little Red River holds the World Record for the laargest Brown Trout ever caught in May of 1992 at 40 pounds and 4 ounces. Bring your fishing pole and you can purchase any type of bait you like in the gift shop. If you are a seasoned fisherman (or even one who requires a little more help) be sure and take a guided tour with one of the resort's expert fishing guides. These guys are phenomenal and will astound you with their vast knowledge of the flora and fauna and the history that this stunning area has to offer. A half-day often seems too short, so definitely book the full day tour if you have the time. If an even larger (and warmer) body of water is more what you have in mind, Greers Ferry Lake is but a 4 mile car ride away. Plan to spend at least one day visiting the lake as there is lots of fun to be had there. You can have lots of fun swimming in the swimming areas, diving off the cliffs or just watching the world go by. There are grills and picnic tables available for use if you choose to bring a picnic lunch. The marinas offer pontoon boat rental and watersport equipment such as skis, kneeboards, wakeboards and innertubes.

The Heber Springs area offers plenty of fun for the land lovers in the group as well! Just up the river from Lindsey's Resort is the Fish Hatchery. It is a short trip upstream to learn about the rainbow trout that are produced there in order to restock the Little Red River. Time spent here is well-spent learning about the ecosystem of this area from their friendly and knowledgeable staff. Just up the river towards the dam is JFK park, which has a wonderful camping area and does offer some hiking as well. Other beautiful places to hike include Mossy Bluff National Nature Trail, Collins Creak Trailhead, Josh Park Memorial Trail Jeff Anderson Trail, Hidden Pond, Sugarloaf Mountain and many more breathtaking areas to stretch your legs. Other fun things to do in Heber include dining in quaint restaurants, shopping in the plethora of well-stocked antique stores, (and of course the ubiquitous Wal Mart) bowling, skating and sightseeing. The resort also has an upscale restaurant on the river with delicious food and friendly staff. Currently the hours are 5-8 PM Friday and Saturday nights by reservation only.

Discover the astonishing beauty of the Natural State in the newly constructed Trumpeter Lodge just steps from the banks of the Little Red River. We are approximately six miles from the historic downtown district of Heber Springs, AR. From the custom-built cabin, you can enjoy all that nature has to offer including regular flyby visits from Bald Eagles, duck and deer as well as seasonal visits from Canadian Geese, Loon and Trumpeter Swans. Our cabin provides you a rustic luxury retreat, fully furnished and ready to host eight (8) guests. On the main floor, guests will find two (2) bedrooms: a master with king bed and TV and a second bedroom featuring a queen bed overlooking the river. Downstairs also hosts a full bathroom, a living room and formal dining with seating for ten (10), and a fully equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher. - "We had such an amazing time at this rental! First of all, the pictures don't even do it justice. I have never seen such attention to detail go into the design of a place- there were tons of cute fishing related decorations, incredible stone and woodwork throughout the house...it was just NICE! It was also very kid friendly- there were gates on the outside porch and an inside baby gate provided, as well as many great touches like a pack N play and a high chair that made our stay much easier (we have 3 young kids). The river was so beautiful and we really enjoyed making smores in the fireplace outside and wading in the water to fish. The power plant was generating mostly in the late afternoon so this left the mornings and afternoon to play in the water and the fishing was incredible right outside the cabin (rainbow trout galore). Finally the host was very responsive and even gave us some great recommendations for guided fishing trips (we went with Beau's guide service and loved them) and things to do in the area. Besides the river we loved swimming at Sandy Beach (Greers ferry lake) and there is a nice playground on the way to town. Just loved this whole trip, can't wait to come back and we will definitely try to stay here again!"

MASTERFUL renovation inside and out Spring 2024. This place has comfort and soul + a gourmet lux kitchen featuring induction cooking. Within a couple of minutes are several public launches and hikes. (see Big Creek Rec area - oh wow). Choices of several nearby trout guides can come and pick you up on your dock. FIBER internet!

ABOUT US, THE BOOKING PROCESS AND FEES:

We are Ivy Vacations LLC, a professional vacation rental management company. We are readily found in a search. We love the area and mostly live very locally to the properties. All properties are self check-in – with key code – after 4pm. Check out is 11. Confirmed guests received our self-penned "local's guide" to the area! Email you provide is important. We send welcome and access info there. Check your spam, please. Taxes and clean/supply fees are always required as is a processing fee that varies depending on who you are booking through.



We cannot accept CANCELLATION variances due to personal reasons or area attraction closures. If we are mandated to close our rental operations, you will be refunded 100% or given the option of credit for future reservation good for 12 months.



1. We've lowered the down payment to reserve from 50% to 15%. IT IS NON-REFUNDABLE.

2. If you need to change your reservation due to COVID related government mandates, we will apply your monies paid towards future reservation good for 12 months from booking date.

3. If you prefer to just cancel, we will retain your monies paid according to the policy timeline, refunding the remainder. We always refund 100% of cleaning and pet fees

4. Please note that 3rd party sites like airbnb have different policies in effect. Please read their fine print.

5. Airbnb has an agreement with the state of Arkansas to collect and remit sales tax. For all other bookings, we collect and remit applicable sales taxes as required for all fees associated with a reservation.
