We found it to be quiet at night during the 4 nights we were there. The staff were friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast was excellent. There were 1-2 hot entrees that changed daily, breads and waffles for toasting, yogurt, cereals, fresh fruit, and pastries that changed each day. It was so nice to have a variety, and to not have to leave the property for breakfast. We didn't try the wine and cheese offered each afternoon, but my husband enjoyed getting some port each night. The location was excellent. We used Yountville as a base to go tasting in Napa, the Sonoma area, and Calistoga. We had all of our dinners in Yountville, and most were walking distance from the hotel. The kids and all of us loved the amenities such as the Ping Pong Table, Pool, Hot Tub, Fire Pit and looking for Geckos in the Garden. The location was perfect, 5 minutes drive to downtown Yountville, Rutherford Grille, Whole foods in Napa, etc. There is a fantastic large TV and sounds system in the Family room for watching movies together. The house has been updated in some areas which as nice. Tips for those staying: Buy a cheap spatula, kitchen only had small plastic ones, for master shower use the hand wand it has better water pressure for washing your hair. There was an issue with the Hot tub and our host made sure it was fixed the same day, which was greatly appreciated. Communication with our host was always great before our trip and during. Odette Vineyard is like 1.5 - 2 miles from the house and is really nice. Highly recommend going to Amizetta vineyard, fantastic views and wine ! Caution on Inglenook vineyard, they require vaccine proof for 12 year old and older for anyone that will be on their property, which wouldn't be a problem except they notified us when we were flying in a plane to California so they cancelled our tasting reservation... which was very disappointing. Last, checkout Brasswood Bar and Bakery, It's 15 minutes away but the food is amazing and they can seat large parties where other restaurants couldn't. The Mozzarella on toasted bread appetizer was fantastic and they do a great job on pasta and seafood. Hope you all enjoy the house as much as we did. We'll be back."

Cathedral ceilings and an open concept layout make it feel light and airy. Restoration Hardware (RH) furnishings throughout the home with fine bed linens (two sets per bedroom) and towels provided. There is a full-size stacked front loading LG washer and dryer for your extended stay. There are enough amenities provided to get you started (paper towels, Kleenex, tissue, liquid soap, dish detergent & shampoo).

THE KITCHEN: The open gourmet 'chefs' kitchen includes a Viking gas range/oven, stainless steel appliances, Viking dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, 40-bottle wine fridge, deep stainless steel tub sink, 14-cup coffee maker, adjustable under-cabinet lighting, white quartz countertops, and contemporary brass knobs/pulls. The kitchen is well stocked with copper pots & pans, non-stick, cast iron, bakeware, and a wide range of cooks' tools and utensils. White dinnerware and flatware for eight (8). Cloth napkins, seasonal table linens, and floral vases are provided to set a beautiful Wine Country table.

DINING ROOM: Just off the kitchen, the dining room features a wooden extendable table that seats up to six (6), with a metal dome lamp on a dimmer, and an oversized RH bistro mirror.

OUTDOOR DINING & RELAXING: A sliding door from the kitchen/dining room area takes you to the landscaped back patio, where you can relax and entertain around a teak dining table (seats up to six) or under the 10x12' gazebo, which can protect you from the elements. In the evening, enjoy the soft glow of landscape lighting whilst dining al fresco. A gas grill is available year-round.

BEDROOM 1 (Primary): Features vaulted ceilings with an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, Italian tiled floors, and double sink marble-top vanity. In the bedroom, you'll find a modern tufted headboard, Cal King mattress with a comfortable gel/foam cooling pillow-top, matching nightstands, bedside lamps with on/off switches, and ceiling fan. There are two separate closets with a luggage rack and ample supply of hangers, in addition to a 65" cherry wood dresser. There is a sliding patio door that overlooks the quiet backyard.

BEDROOM 2: Features a Queen bed, ceiling fan and windows that overlook the front gravel courtyard. There's a small desk and chair, should you need privacy from the living room area to read, work remotely, or catch up on emails. Access to the second full bathroom (shower/tub combo) is from the hallway, just outside the second bedroom.

GARAGE: Available to access the patio cushions and pillows, and store your luggage, ice chests, or golf clubs, but the garage is essentially the "owners closet" where we (the owners) keep our seasonal items. No room for a parked car.

The house has an amazing location (it is 10 min walk from Silver Oaks winery and 20 min. walk from the Oakville Grocery store; 10 min. drive to Yountville and 15 min. drive to St Helena). The house has a very mature outdoor space with a lap size heated swimming pool, hot tub, tennis court, swing for the kids, 2 acres of landscaping for playing sports and a vegetable garden.

Yountville is home to six Thomas Keller restaurants including the Michelin rated French Laundry, Bouchon Bakery & Bistro and three others. Other local favorites include Ciccio’s, Bistro Jeanty and RH Yountville, and mornings often start with a scone at Kelly’s gas station, baked daily next door at R+D Kitchen. Yountville has more than ten wine tasting rooms on its main street and is located centrally in the Valley among dozens of wineries stretching from Napa to St. Helena and Calistoga.

If you’re a golfer or athlete, there is Yountville’s 9-hole public course, a 5-minute drive away as well as pickleball and tennis courts on the south end of town. Tour Yountville and local environs on a bike available for rent in the center of town. Or you can start your day, as we often do, with a walk through the vineyards that surround town, or meander the parks and pathways in our own neighborhood. The kitchen is outfitted with premium appliances and Sub-Zero refrigerator. Granite countertops and under-cabinet lighting create a light and bright kitchen equipped with all of the necessary everyday accessories. New white dishware and glassware allow for wonderful entertaining. The backyard has a sitting area and a dining area, with gas barbeque. The slate patio, comfortable furnishings, vintage bistro lights and olive tree provide an inviting outdoor living space. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening happy hour in the backyard or the front porch outfitted with two chairs and a table.

The main bedroom has a French cane king bed, vintage chandelier, ample closets and storage space with sliding French doors that open to the peaceful backyard. The en suite bathroom has an enclosed shower and double sinks.

The second bedroom has a premium Restoration Hardware queen bed, bedside tables and lamps. The second bathroom has a tub/shower and single sink. We have hi-speed internet and a 55” smart TV in the living room, and another smart TV in the primary bedroom, that you can synch with your apps (e.g. Google, YouTube TV, Amazon) to watch live and streaming TV. There is a full-size side by side, washer and dryer and ample linens.
