This facility is not a HOTEL it’s a self service apartment,which is run by women.we don’t have any staff to carry the luggages also there are 10 -12 stairs to reach the rooms which shouldn’t be problem to any of you who are coming to hills,it’s a residential area, You have to carry your own luggage to your room.

When I give you my apartment keys it means you also need to take responsibilities as your own house, Any damages should be reported immediately.Its a house kindly treat it like your own please don’t litter room with your cigarette , water can, paper and chips packets, there are dustbin in all the rooms .Your character reflects when you lev you room like a fish market, Its Sikkim we don’t have the culture of littering we are taught from the early age to keep our surrounding clean even a 5 years old knows how to keep its bed arranged after they wake up, You don’t need to arrange your sleeping bed but please don’t litter and break things.Keep it dry and clean.

This facility is a furnished 2 double-beds, kitchen facility with a private mountain-view portico.. Food stuffs are available very close by and you can cook healthy meals all by yourself or ask me to include you in my meal plans in advance which are charged extra.

This facility is long-term-stay friendly for registered guests only . Non registered guest will not be entertained unless they provide their ID and they will be charged.Guest can have visitors with proper ID but should inform the host beforehand .

NO PETS ALLOWED/ NO PARKING WITHOUT INFORMING THE HOST.

Entry to the building is by common stairs.

You will have a hall space which has a bed. The second room is the master bedroom which opens to a private portico facing the panoramic hills of Gangtok town.

Laundry and ironing can be facilitated upon request. Reserved and shared taxis services are available from the street very close by.Heaters and Fans will come with extra charge.

Around Gangtok, there are many beautiful sight-seeing locations to explore. They can be accessed in private/reserved taxis
For Parking please ask beforehand and don’t just show up and ask for parking space, host should know that you are getting your private vehicle and the vehicle type so we may help you find the spot if available.

Gangtok itself can be explored by walking trips around the town.

Guest access
The complete apartment is available for you to access during your stay. It is located on the ground floor with an independent and private access. The floors above are occupied by my family with a separate entrance.

Other things to note
VISIT TO RESTRICTED AREAS:
Guests planning to visit restricted areas like Nathula pass / Tsomgu Lake / North Sikkim (Lachung /Lachen / Dzongu etc ) or any places where permits are required, please do carry few passport size photographs & photo copies of your photo ID, atleast 6 each .

SPECIAL NOTE FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS:
Guests visiting from foreign countries are suggested to carry few passport size photographs & photo copies of your ID too.
You will require them when you enter the country and even at the Sikkim check post where you will have to get a entry visa and the officers will stamp your passport. Further you will have to get an Inner Line Permit from them which is a printed copy of the places you can visit in Sikkim .

Sikkim being a state surrounded with 3 different countries has a restriction on foreign nationals movement on border areas. One thing to keep note to foreign nationals - You are not allowed to travel alone to these restricted places.

Permits are only issued if you travel in groups of 2 or more. Single person permits are not issued. Foreign nationals who wish to travel to north Sikkim like Dzongu, Lachung, Lachen should note that they will be issued permits for 4 days at a stretch only . After that they will have to renew their permit .
