With an active tourism company (rafting, zip lines, canyoning...) in the same municipality and a thermal spa (both five minutes from home), it is the ideal place for families, couples or groups of friends.

It has a large supermarket on the outskirts of town, as well as local shops (butcher, pharmacy...) where you can buy. Also different restaurants and tapas bars for a great stay.

Even though the house does not have a parking plaza, it is very easy to park on the street in front, or in the public parking lot (not guarded) that we have 155 m from the house.

To get around Les, the best idea is to walk. Both to go to bars and restaurants, or to the supermarket, or take a short walk on any of the roads that surround us. You have numerous routes that leave the village without having to use a car, ask us and we will be happy to give you recommendations.

Although it is advisable to have a car to move around the Aran Valley, you can also use the public bus line of the valley.

Les, in the Baish Aran, is a village of almost 1,000 inhabitants, with all the services and, at the same time, a lot of tranquility. With an active tourism company (rafting, zip lines, canyoning...) in the same municipality and a thermal spa (both five minutes from home), it is the ideal place for families, couples or groups of friends.

It has a large supermarket on the outskirts of town, as well as local shops (butcher shop, pharmacy...) where to make the purchase. Also different restaurants and tapas bars to enjoy an excellent stay.

Although the house does not have a parking space, it is very easy to park in the street in front, or in the public parking (not guarded) that we have 155 m from the house.

To get around Les, the best idea is to walk. Both to go to bars and restaurants, or to the supermarket, or take a short walk on any of the roads that surround us. You have numerous routes that leave the village without having to use a car, ask us and we will be happy to give you recommendations.

Although to move around the Vall d'Aran it is advisable to have a car, you can also use the public bus line that runs the valley.

The space
The Aran Valley is a beautiful and privileged area in the Pyrenees. Throughout the year the landscapes are the stars, whether in spring, winter, autumn, or summer. You can easily spot native fauna and extensive fields full of flowers and plants characteristic of the Pyrenees. All bathed by the Garonne River and its tributaries that go from the Pla de Beret to Les, crossing the border to its mouth in the Atlantic Ocean.

The apartment is located in the village of Les, where you can find all kinds of services. Restaurants, bars, shops, supermarket, bookstore, gas station, pharmacy and several playgrounds.
There are also several places of leisure and cultural interest such as the Plaza del Haro where the Haro de Les is located, a reference of the San Juan festivities throughout the Pyrenees and which is also part of the traditional Pyrenees Fire Festivities, which were declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2015.

You can also visit the chapel of San Blas, in Romanesque style and dating from the 12th century. Restored today, it is located in a very nice enclave in the historic area of the village. From there you can see the Castle of Pijoert or Castle of Les, now in ruins, dating from the 11th century AD.

Les also offers leisure spaces such as the Baronía de Les Thermal Spa. A hot spring whose origin dates back to Roman times and is a must-visit.
Caviar Nacarii has been produced in Les for over a decade. In the same manufacturing plant, you can visit the pools, where you can observe several species of sturgeon and where you will be given an interesting introduction to how Aranese caviar is produced.
Finally, the Deportur company offers various types of adventure sports in the surrounding nature, such as rafting, climbing, or adventure sports circuits, with various difficulty levels and for all ages.
Throughout the Val d'Aran and especially in the Bajo Aran, where the village of Les is located, there are dozens of hiking and mountain biking trails and climbing facilities completely free of charge. Of course, in winter you can enjoy the magnificent Baqueira-Beret ski slopes, which are 30 minutes from the village of Les.
