- "I stayed at Appart Hôtel Mer & Golf City Bordeaux Bruges for 16 days while recovering from surgery, and I really enjoyed the stay. The pond/lake behind the hotel is really just lovely to walk around and I enjoyed the ducks, turtles and beavers there! There is also a grocery store in the same parking a lot, which was extremely convenient. There's also a tram station a 5-10 minute walk away, which was also very convenient. The kitchenette in the room was a little more spacious than other hotels and completely met my needs. My fridge whined at first but they quickly swapped it out for another one and I had no further issues. The room was clean and its condition was pretty good. Housekeeping came by daily to take out the garbage and change towels if needed, and changed sheets and did a more thorough cleaning when I asked (just once for my stay). The staff at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Overall I became very fond of the place and was a little sad to leave."

- "The staff was very nice!" - "Correct" - "Outstanding !!" - "Clean and comfortable hotel. Could have benefited from air conditioning though, as it was quite warm in the room. Although it was not the hotels responsibility, there was a pile of rubbish on the pavement near the hotel. This was very unsightly, and a health risk. Perhaps something could be done to get it removed?" - "The one lady on reception was really helpful and could speak English. The others on reception were not helpful and could not speak English. The property needs a good clean and needs a good paint. The Continental Breakfast included in my rate was great value for money. The rooms are not cleaned/serviced daily. The free toiletries was body wash only in the bathroom. You have to ask for extra towels and for loo paper if needed. There was sufficient parking."

I talked to her twice and didn't like the way she treated us. I am French and speak French quite well if you think it was a language barrier. She just didn't seem to care to be warm. Overall, happy with it, will probably think about it again as it is so close to where my parents live and the Bordeaux-Mérignac airport."

- "The hotel was ideally located close to the old part of Bordeaux. The staff were very helpful and secure car parking was located under the hotel - very convenient. The only downside was that the double bed was attached to the wall and no headboard, just a gap between bed and window.
