Aryaan Resort was a horrible hotel, no matter where its located. Don't be fooled by the pictures - they are staged. This property is old, unkept, run-down, bare, dirty. We prepaid for 3 rooms/3 nights. We used 2 rooms, for 1 night only. We immediately checked out the next morning. We called my husband's friend at airport and told him to not come, to stay in Mangalore. Truthfully - No wifi. The front desk could not run credit cards, insisting everyone to pay in cash. Our rooms had no wifi. No mgr. on duty to help. Bathroom had ANTS crawling over the vanity, coming up out of the drain. Ants in the bath towels. Chair broke & couch had fresh stains, bedspread cover was stained. Restaurant table nasty stains. Hotel power shut off 6X. Door lock was broke. We reached out to Expedia. Here is response: "This is about your refund request for the reservation at Aryaan Resort & Residences, Udupi. We have advocated your case with the property and due to their policy in relation to your reservation, we regret to inform you that they have denied your request." Very unfortunate."

Mr Vishnu Bhat went out of his way to recommend good restaurants, which places to visit and was super helpful with booking motor rickshaws as the hotel is a bit outside the city center. Having said that, it’s at in a beautiful garden and it’s peaceful. It you have your own car, this place is perfect. Or you can rent a scooter during your stay, which the hotel can also help recommend. Our room was spacious, with a large bed, TV, AC, fan, and a balcony. Overall it was clean, but the bathroom had seen better days and needed a scrub. We are very thankful to Mr Bhat and the other staff for making our stay so pleasant and memorable. "

As the name suggests the property is a well furnished APARTMENT very close to Malpe beach. The apartment is an epitome of SIMPLICITY and COMFORT. It is situated in a calm locality, letting one enjoy the stay with peace & harmony. The stay is EQUIPPED with modern amenities whilst preserving the MINIMALIST IDEOLOGY and aims at providing travellers with COMFORT & HOMELY feel. The apartment can accommodate a maximum of 5 GUESTS.

The apartment is a 1 BEDROOM APARTMENT complete with a kitchen.
The BEDROOMS consist of standard DOUBLE BEDS which can comfortably accommodate 2 GUESTS & also accommodate an ADDITIONAL GUEST. Additional mattress shall be provided at a nominal cost, on request. The bedroom is AIR-CONDITIONED and are WELL VENTILATED. The bathroom has a HOT WATER facility.

The guests are welcomed into the Living room with the kitchen on the left & the bed room straight ahead of the main door. In the Living room you will see 2 single Diwan / Single Beds & a Centre Table. The kitchen is equipped with BASIC COOKING AMENITIES, any SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS shall have to be conveyed to us well IN ADVANCE.

Other things to note
We have ample amount of FREE SPACE FOR PARKING. A PRIVATE means of TRANSPORT shall be ideal to travel around but as we have access to the main road Auto / Tuk-tuk or cab cab be used for commuting.

The stays are located in a CALM & SERENE environment. Hence, LOUD MUSIC & NOISES are strictly PROHIBITED.

Guests choosing to consume ALCOHOIC BEVERAGES are requested to do so responsibly. Guests are free to carry their OWN CHOICE OF BEVERAGES. Beverages can be also be ORDERED at the stay among the available choices. The same shall be delivered by the caretakers.
